✓ Fun but most my scorePlayed for hours, reached 30K. Then score dropped down to zero when playing again later. Happened again when reached to 50K. disappointed to do all that effort then later lose all the score. Also theres seem to be a limit of playing since it stops creating new stations and all they give you is either more cars or tunnels. Gets boring after that..RaDiOkArMaVersion: 1.5

✓ FrustratedIt’s a good game but there is no way to save a game. So if you want to go back to another city, because you had an idea that worked in a newer city, you’re screwed. And it would be nice to have things like other games offer - a undo button, a way to see how many trains/cars there are per line, maybe give hints as to way a certain layout seems to be stuck at a range of people, etc. good game, but lacking in 2023 options….definitely feels more like 1990s..GizzerellaVersion: 1.5

✓ Not very phone friendly…Would like to start this review by stating that this game is great! Similar to Mini Motorways this game is an awesome puzzle. My issue comes with the controls of the game. If you are on a small device and using your finger it is almost impossible to manage a complex railway system. Disconnecting and reconnecting stops is absolutely chaotic when you reach a high amount of passengers. If you play on a tablet or computer this game is flawless, but if you play on your phone be prepared for pretty frustrating gameplay..JZ_123Version: 1.3.1

✓ GoodDecent, fairly simplistic little game. I just don't get it. No matter what I do, I can't seem to fix an overly busy station. I get to a few hundred at best and then it's just over. The tutorial doesn't tell you anything about how to deal with it when it gets busy. I tried deleting all my tracks, laying out new tracks better organized, and it still ends quickly. ✓ I apologize but I did not enjoy.I started playing again after playing the original and I remembered why I quit the game. I got to the point where it just got too aggravating. Half the time my tracks for some reason hardly connected. Every time I try to remove a track and put it somewhere else it would mess up my entire thing. I remember it being easier than this. I simply find it as one of the most rage inducing games on the market at the moment. There needs to be a way to slow the stations. I had 5 locomotives on one tack 3 of which had 3 carts. And that was the track that filled the fastest. I would say to stay away from this game, but if you can handle it, by all means go ahead..ARRow7Version: 1.0

✓ A game of luck not skillWorth a play though the campaign but once you’ve cracked it it can become a case of copy and paste of technique. Hence why so few levels I’m guessing. Past that the challenges are broken: The challenges are almost impossible to complete due to the random/procedural nature of the station generation which removes all skill based gameplay with dumb luck, for example to ‘complete London only using one tunnel’ too soon will turn into restart the map every five minutes due to a new station being generated in a location that would literally force you to use another tunnel. This could be easily fixed by just letting you draw out the track rather than just connecting the dots...Michael 5556Version: 1.3.2

✓ Cute Game, Horrendous ControlsPlayed a couple times and was really enjoying it, but if you try to ever reroute the tracks you might as well throw your phone out the window. It always does the most backwards thing from what you really want. Want to remove a connection between two stations? How about we just make the track circle back! Try again! How about we remove the entire line! Try to add it back? Haha, we will just move all the other adjacent lines on top. Want to adjust a path of a track? How about you just pick up a random train and we’ll let you figure out where it came from… Fix your idiotic control scheme and I’ll play it again, otherwise it ain’t worth the electricity….Elrond LossehelinVersion: 1.6.1

✓ Great concept, needs improvementI got apple arcade and was incredibly excited to play this game on my 2020 Macbook Air (with a M1 chipset) but after about 15-20 minutes my mac gave me an error message. Apparently this game takes up to 40 GB of application memory at a time, which was incredibly dissapointing as I couldn't play it anymore without an error message. I wish the game worked, and if it gets an update to combat this usage, I will 100% redownload. I wrote this review for both Mini Metro & Mini Motorways. ✓ GlitchyAs more time passes in the city, I get more trains and carriage, supposedly. Week end and it says I get a new train and carriage but then after that screen fades, I am left with the same amount of transportation. People get thousands on this app…I get less than 100! The game absolutely refuses to give you what you need to be competitive so unless you can ignore the above list, you are going to rip out the hair on your head. So, why the three stars, you ask? Because despite the frustrations associated with this game and it’s counterpart by this developer, they are truly interested in your feedback. They genuinely seem interested in hearing what you have to say despite telling you their software people can’t figure out why the AI is being so aggressive. ✓ Seems to crash when a notification comes inI’m loving this game! The visual design and sound effects are beautiful, there a lot of options, it’s fun and engaging and very addictive! However the game seems to crash if a notification comes on the screen (eg an alarm or calendar notification). Everything freezes and the buttons stop working. ✓ Leaderboard GlitchThis game is fantastic. Maybe my favorite in the arcade. I would totally say 5 stars but there the glitch in leaderboard stats is like a tease and doesn't feel good. I'm not a competitive person and don't normally get into stats. But seeing the exact ranking and percent was really cool and it only happened once and stopped showing up. Is there a fix? ✓ No game save, what is this, the 80’s?I really like this game, I do. However: I expect to be able to save and reload any long play game from any map at any time in any order. The lack of game save files/slots makes playing the game for a quick session here and there impossible as progress is more often than not lost when I come back to the game. Invariably the resume has been lost when I come back to the game loosing all progress. This is a major failure with minimotorways+ too. If you start the game and see the Apple Arcade animation, all progress lost every time. This is a long play game (as is mini motorways+), no game save was something we had to put up with in the 80’s and even then we got game save on Zelda; it’s a basic game feature that is expected and no game should release without it. Please add a full save and load feature, it’ll remove this constant frustration and make the game fun again!.JGLA!!!Version: 1.1

✓ Visually confusingI love mini motorways and decided to give mini metro+ a go as well. Unfortunately, I found the game very visually confusing. The use of shapes needing to get to separate destinations was good in theory, but it’s often difficult to even tell what shapes they are, which train they’re on, or where they need to go. You often have to sacrifice being able to tell what going on visually for efficiency which results in train lines overlapping and being unable to tell where they connect or where they go. I believe it would make more sense to move colors around (like you do in mini motorways) and have the trains be numbered or patterned. However that’s just my personal opinion and the game has a lot of potential. If you aren’t one who has trouble with visual processing, you might enjoy the game more than I did..GhostygrillVersion: 1.6.1

✓ Fun until….I’m an avid sim city/City skylines ‘gamer’. I’m drawn to the construction aspect and moving traffic. This game is fun, LOADS of fun, so don’t get me wrong here: there is a horrendous algorithm that drops the same station type repeatedly and right next to each other (most prevalent is the circle station, 7 to 8 in a line?!? Woah….). There is such a thing as making a game challenging and a whole other thing making it discouraging, disappointing and extremely frustrating 75% of the time. I’ve opened every city, so it’s not as if I can’t play the game with success. I know that I can reroute and remake the lines, but when you’re starting out the game and all you have is one triangle, one square and eight circles…. nah. I play games for fun, not to tick me off more than my kid slipping out their bedroom window at night. ✓ Controls on phone uselessIt is impossible using a phone to target anything with your finger. From rail lines to trains, you’ll be dragging and dropping the wrong thing breaking your game all the time. ✓ Could be more fun butThis is one of the best games out there but it makes no sense to rush the player to connect stations without the proper materials to do so. Nowhere in the world does a station get built with no tracks, and people are expected to be picked up before the tracks are laid. Leave everything just the way it is but stop with the persistent addition of stations before the player has had a chance to tweak and optimize what’s already there. It makes me abandon the game. You can still place them randomly at different places, for the challenge, but not at regular intervals. Just have a prompt “build new station”. Makes no sense to sometimes have 4 stations to connect across a river without having bridges…. Takes the fun out of the whole concept. What’s the point..Dances With ElectronsVersion: 1.6.1

✓ Editing is infuriatingEditing stops is infuriatingly painful when there are many lines going to a stop on an iPhone. If you have more than one line at a stop, moving the line you want in order to react quickly is almost impossible, as there is no way to pause the game.
