✓ Not worth the moneyThe sounds are updated too late in the game. I decided to do an experiment over the past week to see if TrendTok’s top sounds would boost my views. I used the same text/style videos and when I used to get 50-100K views now I’m barely getting 1K with these sounds. Disappointed and thought I’d give a warning to others. ✓ Garbage 🗑️So I downloaded the app as I needed a big of help on TikTok. It appears that I had more traction before this app. It has been 24 hours and o have 2 likes and 97 views. When my other TikTok’s pre the app had over 16k vies and 600 likes within a span of 5 days I would say. This apps concept is great but not worth it. I am in they trial phase and being I didn’t see anything happen with two of my post which quite frankly is shocking I wouldn’t waste my money subscribing to it and I don’t recommend you do either. Oh, the songs are not even trending songs in the states. You’re better off finding what works for you as well as the hashtags. ✓ RiggedIt was starting off good, it asked me questions about what my tiktok account mainly talks about and posts. I told them my topics and then when I went onto the app everything about my account that could help me get famous I had to pay for. So basically if I chose lifestyle it would lock out lifestyle and only let me look at other topics for free but I would have to pay for lifestyle. That’s why I’m saying it’s rigged. ✓ Not for meI really wanted to like this app, but it just didn’t work for me. Going through the reviews, it felt like most of them were sponsored, but I decided to download it and try it for myself. It asks you to select categories you’re interested in but is extremely limited in those categories. There wasn’t a category for gaming or entertainment which is my niche. It then creates a playlist just for you which you can’t access without paying. I’m not opposed to paying for apps, the dev has to make money for their hard work. But I don’t like going into a free app finding out I can’t try it at all before paying. However, the price is affordable so I bought it. And I wish I hadn’t. While there are over 40 playlists, they all feature mostly the same songs. The “personalized” playlist isn’t unique compared to the other playlists. The top song on the “new trends” category are already saturated with over 1.2 Million videos. The lowest has 349k videos. I don’t feel the app has the predictability it needs to find sounds that are less saturated but on the rise, and therefore can’t justify the price. There wasn’t a trend on this app that I haven’t found by scrolling through the fyp. The dev seems like an active, hardworking guy so I’d be happy to revisit in time if the predictability factor improves. Until then, it’s just not for me. On the other hand, if you don’t care to scroll through the for you page and want an easy way to find trending sounds, this is 100% a helpful app..Version: 0.1.7

But if you’ve been going on tiktok for a daily, then there’s really no use for this app. HOWEVER, i haven’t used the premium edition so i can’t say for sure if it’s really worth it or not. In my opinion, it’s not. When giving the opportunity to test a free trial for the premium edition, it automatically charged me the $30 to get a premium membership annually. It CLEARLY stated that to press this button for a free trial, and I’m paying $30 to get a premium membership for a year as a “free trial”?? I don’t think so. I tried contacting you guys to give me a refund as you have given people poor choice of words to try a “free trial” on the app; and the email address of yours is invalid. ✓ Needs a 3-day free trialI am suspicious that most of the reviews are paid reviews because I haven’t found any value. Most of the playlists have the same songs at the top, they’re songs you already know/could guess are in the top 10 if you’re on TikTok at all, and they don’t even offer a photography/videography option, which is why I signed up. I’m not sure how often the data updates either. Also, it’s frustrating to either have to pay $3/wk or $20/yr without really being able to see what you’re getting. Where is the typical 3-day free trial? I don’t really know what the difference between “top sounds” and “trending now” is. I also wish the key used for song expected to rise/fall was a bit easier to understand... For example, is it expected to fall gradually or drastically? Starting tomorrow, or next week? My biggest critique, however, is not being able to see the length of the songs. I wish there was a feature that allowed you to find trending songs that are 30 seconds long or 1 min long or something like that. ✓ General, not very insightfulI’m a relatively new creator but I’ve been on TikTok for years. I was pretty bummed that this app had nothing for science/student/med categories. Closest thing was “education” which was geared toward k-12 teachers. ScienceTok is a huge category on TikTok and especially during the pandemic, lots of doctors and science educators have garnered a massive following. College students share study tips/admissions info and general content geared toward students which make up the main demographic of tiktok users.
