✓ App has gone downhillThe books on here are good but the app is not really worth it. In order to read the books you need pearls and it cost so much to buy pearls. When I first got the app you were able to get 60-90 pearls for free (if you read for a certain amount of time) now you can get around 30 which can buy you one chapter in a book. The chapters are so small too, it takes less than 5 minutes to read. It is not worth the money.Version: 2.4.2

BUT… I find it very frustrating to be limited to a couple of chapters at a time. Why add the forced wait? Why not just make me watch more ads? The ads are where you get your income from me. By forcing me to wait you are limiting your own income. It makes no sense, and annoys me no end. When I start a book I like to read it to the end at my own pace. Earning enough pearls on a daily basis to be able to read a book in a reasonable time frame is impossible unless you purchase the overpriced pearl bundles. ✓ One of the best e-novel appsThis app is hands down amongst the best of the dozens of apps for reading e-novels. Points are straight forward. No spending hours playing games and watching stupid videoes for useless points that don’t convert 1-1 into coins (like MoboReader!). The only time you watch a video is to unlock chapters and Athen it’s only one video that ends as soon as 30 seconds click by. Cost per chapter is reasonable and the book selection is good as well. I think it’s ridiculous because I haven’t had to pay anything since downloading the app. They give you so many opportunities to get pearls to read rather than purchasing. Each day you come back and claim daily pearls or check in, you get more opportunities to collect more pearls. In one week, I had 500 pearls collected. ✓ Way too expensive to read a bookThey need an annual subscription fee that will give you access to all books or a fixed fee per book you read. Why would I spend over £100 just to read one book, when I could spend that reading several books. Further these books are still ongoing so I lose interest in them. Need to come up with a system that makes more sense. As it stands now the system for getting pearls is way too expensive and it’s a put off, especially when you can go subscribe to other sites with similar books for way less. My only niggles are that the pages jump from the beginning to the end of the chapter, so no smooth scrolling from page to page.
