✓ Helped relieve my lockdown boredom!I live in an area where we have undergone multiple lockdown restrictions, and they’ve lasted for months to almost a year. I have my studies to keep me preoccupied but not entertained and it has drained me of motivation. This game cured my boredom, no, I’m not being dramatic. I’m a big fan of all the games Kairosoft has to offer. Their 8-bit style and one purchase no advertisement method has always been consistent and always manages to attract my attention. One of my favourite games is Bonbon Cakery, just any food related game where you make recipes and manage a business never fails to entertain me. When I found out about the release of this game, I did not hesitate to make a purchase, knowing well that it’ll be worth every cent. No advertisements to be found, just an enjoyable experience of developing a small burger business into a massive fast food empire. It was everything I wanted and more, I hope that they produce more games similar to this in the future with different foods or with more features. ✓ One of the better games they've doneThis game has a good smattering of Cafeteria Nipponica (e.g. multiple stores), Sushi Spinnery (menu combos and some restaurant decorating), and "earning" the different types of patrons that are in many of the games. ✓ It’s good, but it’s not their bestThe few criticisms I have of this is the level of micromanagement that goes into each restaurant. The UI isn’t a big help either, as there’s no sort button for staff or ingredients like in other Kairosoft games. There have been multiple times where to attract a customer I just have to get rid of one ingredient to get them to come in. I’d like to be able to edit recipes just for this feature. You have to rebuild locations just to renovate and change managers, and have to repurchase registers and kitchen placements after researching them again and again. It should be a one-and-done affair store by store. It’s frustrating to send out test cooks to restock items only to have them come back with everything but the ingredient you need. I’d rather pay the burger currency to restock ingredients manually. Take this review with some grain of salt (haha), as I’m about 3/4s the way finished with the game.Version: 1.32
✓ Fabulously addictive!This game is one of the most enjoyable I’ve played. I found it very hard in the first run-through, but read some great online tips and have almost completed everything on it. Managing more than one store, upgrading your partnerships, making new recipes, remembering to train your employees, send your manager out to attract customers. I only recently found out that each separate store you own has different targets. Which actually helps you earn money faster. But since there is so much to this game, you really have to play for a while to really get everything. I am happy that Kairosoft is still making games and is trying different things..Version: 1.31
✓ Always enjoy their gamesFor some reason, Kairosoft always knows how to keep me addicted to their games to the point I play them for hours on end. I don’t know whether it’s the cute art, the friendly characters, the multiple goals you can set for yourself, or just all of that combined.
