✓ Cool gameI like playing this game and working out strategic ways to build better from the start for a better play, the only annoying thing is how long the next order takes to pop up and only being able to have so much orders at the same time. The amount of ads one must watch to get things quicker is also annoying, I don’t mind watching a ad for the VIP person that comes in but watching a ad every time you want a new order to come quicker isn’t the best..Version: 1.4.0
✓ 2nd reviewI’ve been playing the game again for about month now after a long break from it. I like the new additions that’s been added and I will be buying the premium pass however I don’t like how the forklift operates now when picking the lumber for your orders. It’s used to go to the pile with the most but now collects from the closest stack which often only has 6 - 7 lumbers make it awkward with large orders..Version: 1.4.2

✓ One thing about eventsLoving the game and the events so far, my only issue is that in order to get legendary or tree chests you have to be at the very top of the leaderboard, and currently this is just not possible. I have finished all the event goals and still only place around the 20s. ✓ THANK YOU FOR THE UPDATE!I recently started playing and progressing through the levels. I started building a new project in the workshop when I realized I didn’t have enough storage to finish it. I wasn’t able to cancel the workshop project and could only upgrade my storage by slowly earning diamonds or making a purchase. Without the rewards from the workshop I wasn’t able to continue leveling up and my whole game was at a standstill. This update fixed that!!! Not only do I now have enough storage to finish my project thanks to the update, I now have the choice to cancel projects should I get myself into this situation again. Thank you again for the update! I have been playing a short time and was very invested before my game came to a standstill. Now I am able to continue playing and leveling up!.Version: 1.3.3

✓ Problem with upgrading managersYou should give the choice of which manager to upgrade to the player. For example I could upgrade Larry probably 4 times over but my debarkers can’t handle the amount of wood that’s delivered. I wait for ages to receive upgrade cards for them but they never come through. Always seems to be Gary and Larry. More importantly for you guys is that there’s no way I’m going to pay with the risk of not getting the cards I need. It’s becoming frustrating even watching ads for chests as the manager cards are never the ones you want..Version: 1.3.7

✓ Major bug with eventsUpdate: I’ve changed my rating from 2 to 4 stars. I withheld the 5th star solely because of the bug and how long it took to resolve. But I must say, the in-app chat with support is great, and the team was extremely helpful. Although the issue took several hours to resolve, they were very kind and customer oriented throughout. I am extremely satisfied with this support experience. Overall a solid game. I’ve really enjoyed since I found it about a week ago. I chose to pay for ad-free gameplay to avoid issues mentioned in other reviews, and everything in the main game has been great so far. However, I have to give it a low rating for a very important reason. The most recent weekend event ended a while ago. And I had reached the highest rewards tier. The issue is I never received any of the rewards. There was no error message, and the event link just disappeared from the main game, no rewards in sight. I spent several hours each day of the event playing to collect all rewards, so now I feel like my time has been completely wasted, and I’m not sure if it’s even worth playing future events at all….Version: 1.3.4
✓ Totally worth downloadingLumber inc is an amazing game and I will 100% recommend it to you. It’s a definite 5 stars as it really is an awesome game. Age rating: I would probably say 8+ because I does get a bit complicated with the money but other than that both kids and adults will love this game. When I started playing it I couldn’t get my eyes of it. This has got to be one of my favourite games. And it could be your favourite too if you download it. ✓ Almost greatReally enjoy the game play but I can see the adds are going to wear thin. I play on two different iPads and find on my iPad 5 with 32G of memory that it hangs when returning from adverts to the game more often then not. The only option is to crash the app and start again and of course I don’t get the reward for watching the advert. ✓ Good game but stale in contentThis idle game is great if you need something to do for a little while. It’s fun and just cool to watch all the workers get lumber set. Still requires your attention to set goals and complete orders so you have to be active to do that but your income from the NPCs running the mill gives you income. Downside though! And this is why they get 4 instead of 5. Season passes are $9.99 I’ve played idle games before and this is robbery. $4.99 would be better but lower than that is always preferred. $9.99 is just bad. Second you have events every 2-3 days that las for 48hours. This is great because you get extra for reaching milestones but it seems the devs have something against the player here. In order to make your machines go faster the supervisor at that station needs to be leveled up with cards you get from crates and while you can get a lot of crates and all supervisors at the station are the basic cards you get. You’ll find that you will get more of some then others making it impossible to reach certain milestones in income for the event. Basically one station can have a maxed out speed due to your supervisor level but in another you won’t have a single card to upgrade them and it clogs the work load. The events are pay to win but the rest of the game doesn’t seem to be a required buy in unless you want the $9.99 ad-free boosts..Version: 1.6.1
✓ 80% ads, 15% wait, 5% playI gave this game a good try and concluded 80% ads, 15% wait in game. If you paid for no ads, the 80% ads turns into just waiting. Super worth it. Paying the developer so you can consume your time to wait makes perfect sense. I am sure they can double the price and people would rush buying no ads. If you love starring at a stop watch or enjoy countless repetitive ads, this is the game. This is it, you have found the most time consuming game with minimal effort. This game helped me burnt off valuable time and gave me a reason to ignore my family to watch countless and endless amount of repetitive ads. The 5% play is sort of fun also. Thank you lumber inc. ✓ Fun little idlerI enjoyed it. Fun little idle game. Unfortunately getting the workshop materials ended up being too much of a pain. You have to get them through orders but you only like like 4 each order and after every completed order there is a cool-down of a couple minutes. This slowed the game down considerably. I no longer cared about upgrading my machines and coins no longer mattered; only waiting for the timer to finish so I could fulfill another order..Version: 1.4.12

✓ A good game for VIPI tried playing this game in free and the ads weren’t tolerable. I have no trouble spending a little money on something I find entertaining, so tried the VIP membership. It’s pretty good in this mode with no ads and 2x income multiplier. My play style is a few hours a day while doing something else like playing the game while on the subway or watching TV. I will say that it still has a lot of hurry up and wait situations where you’ll be waiting on timers to run out, or you can spend gems. (Waiting for new jobs, etc.) The mini events are fun, but I’ll say that if your goal is to get a legendary card, the events length usually aren’t long enough unless you either 1. Spend a ton of real money on card packs or 2. Spend the entire length of the event with the game open and actively playing. As a casual player (maybe 1-2 hours per day), there’s no way to get all of the awards on the 2 day events without spending real money on upgrades and card packs. I even tried increasing my play time for one event just to see if it were possible to complete it, it’s just unattainable unless I spent all weekend playing or spent real money. As a note to the developers, a nice way to set the mini event length might be to adjust the length of the event to each user based on their average play time/session time. It’s frustrating to never achieve the top goal of the event and discourages users from participating when all of their effort only achieves 40% of the goal..Version: 1.3.8

✓ Great Game - Events Need a New Coat of PaintThis game is a fantastic little idle game, and the updates they just pushed out for VIP members (thanks for it being a flat one time thing instead of being some subscription that makes no sense also) makes it worthwhile for the VIP purchase. It’s an idle game, it’s going to get redundant. But the upgrades in your Sawmill make it worth it. My only thing is that the Events are lacking only because there’s only two alternate sawmills. Other idle games have at least four different event areas. And while Medieval and Western are fun, maybe we can see some other events in the future? Maybe a futuristic space one, a ninja one, a pirate one, a spooky/horror theme, or even a post apocalyptic theme? Possibilities are endless, and the way that the developers have put effort into designing different machines and dressing the little avatars per the theme have been amazing. Other than that, solid idle game. It still holds my attention..Version: 1.3.8

✓ Fun but so many adverts.The game is fun and addictive but there is so many adverts if you want to progress for free. I timed myself playing for 10 minutes keeping myself busy in game and for 7 of those minutes I was watching adverts. Upgrading to VIP removes all of those but for the cost of £20, I think that’s quite high, although that is a lifetime upgrade. Some improvements I would love to see are the ability to PAUSE a machine or production line (eg pause a forklift so the following line can use up all its stored wood before it gets restocked). Otherwise if you change the wood type, the new wood just goes on-top of the previous type and the previous type just stays there forever. Another thing would be to remove some workers after hiring them. Say I have 10 lumberjacks but find they are standing around most of the time, I would like to remove (fire/make redundant) them to keep the flow of logs more balanced. I would think pausing a line and controlling worker quantity would make a great improvement for immersion and overall player control of what’s going on. Good game otherwise..Version: 1.7.9

✓ Fun for the first couple of weeksIf your looking for a quick last time idle game for a week or so, this is the game for you. After so many times Of updating your factory it gets to a point where everything is maxed out but you have to wait for what seems like forever to get enough business points from the workshop to upgrade your factory again. The money is the only thing to go up while on idle and that’s only for two hours unless you pay for the more. And I mean your real life dollars in app purchase. Everything else you have to sit and wait on the game for it to come time again to send off an order that doesn’t automatically come through. I feel like I spend most of my time on the app watching ads to shorten time because I am tired of waiting 80 seconds just to get four boxes of nails..Version: 1.7.4
✓ Actually a great Idle GameI was actually very surprised when I downloaded this game! I was expecting it to be an ad filled scam where every 2 minutes I’d have to sit through 30 seconds of inane drivel. However, the only time I have had to watch an ad is when I have chosen to in order to gain some currency quickly. This game is also very fun and satisfying as well as quite easy to upgrade the machinery meaning you can play the game for a long time in a sitting. 10/10 would recommend!.Version: 1.7.9
✓ Economy unbalancedBeen playing for a few weeks now and I notice that the end game falls off drastically after the 2nd week. 1) the crates are unbalanced. I have enough cards to level almost all my managers twice over, but I’m short the over FIVE THOUSAND biz points to make it happen (it may be a lot more than that, but none of my managers are that high yet). 2) Warehouse crates are only available via diamond purchases, so you’ll never get caught up on those without spending tons of RL cash. 3) There’s no way to allow your managers to hold aside a specific spot for certain lumber types. I’m at the point where I have 2 sanders and I’m constantly running out of room for rough boards, which are invariably needed to continue with production. 4) warehouse orders are only processed FIFO, so you can’t complete 1 order until you complete the others. Game would go a lot more smoothly with another warehouse expansion to include up to 3 order bays where orders could be filled concurrently. 5) that damned warehouse forklift stalls my orders all the time, either because he’s idle due to the earlier mention of warehouse crates, or the earlier mention of lumber prioritization. Mostly, it’s a fun game, even if it drains the iPad battery faster than any other app I know..Version: 1.3.4
✓ Needs a way to make the milling lines fasterI love this game. I spend more money than I’m proud of in this game. But I have 3 major concerns and criticisms. First of is that the fact that the lumberjacks and debarkers are so much faster than the milling lines that it causes a huge backup of logs. It makes it so the debarkers almost never run because the debarked log storage is always full. Please add a way to make the milling lines even faster so that it doesn’t seem so backed up Second is that the workshop tokens need an increase in the amount you get per order. I know you can upgrade a worker to give more but it takes so long to build them up that it seems like I have nothing to do but just wait. Third is that you should add a 4th milling line. After you collect all 9 of them you have basically finished the game. The only point of continuing is to go to a new factory but the only thing new in the late factory’s is just a money increase. You should add more lines after sanding to make us keep having something to aim at getting. And finally you should add different factories that you can work on simultaneously. Like in a lot of other idle games for example adventure capitalist. You can work on earth but then once you get really far into it, you unlock mars. Something like that should be added so we have something to do while we wait for our workshop orders to complete..Version: 1.4.6

✓ Fun game, but nearly impossible to level up managers without paying moneyI’ve been playing for a few months now, reached the cutting edge sawmill. Most of my machines are max speed, however my sawmill is at a near standstill due to the fact that I need 12 cards to level up a manager to level 5 and my sanding machine needs its manager leveled up or it clogs the entire work line and without spending money to buy gems to buy crates to get worker cards… there are just to many different managers that are important to level up in order to have the game run smoothly. I play the challenges, do daily tasks, watch 3 ads a day to receive rhe chest. I do everything I can in the game without spending money and it’s been fun so far but my factory is just not moving anymore. Wish it were less cards to level up managers, or easier to get cards and items. Other than that it’s a fun game. Thanks..Version: 1.7.6
✓ Ehhh needs a LOT of work.The game has a very good concept and fun strategy idea feel to it but having to physically stop playing because your highest mill is slowing down production because they are not moving fast enough or that you only get orders every 4 minutes or so makes it very hard to stay interested in this game because you can’t physically move forward on your own. And how much it cost to retain a “Lunar” pass for 10$ is ridiculous….. idk if that’s because that’s what the developer thinks it’s worth but it’s most defiantly not worth that at all. Maybe 4.99$ for a monthly pass but not 10$ and especially if it’s not going to get you any where further in the game because acquiring manager cards is slim to none or hit and miss and if you don’t have certain ones your game stops basically..Version: 1.6.3

✓ Game is very good but…I am really enjoying this game and I think for the most part it is fantastic, however there are a few things I’m not fond of. I think it would be nice if some of the finished lumber sold automatically with upgrades available to increase how fast it sells and how much it sells for rather than just having the contracts, while I do like the contract system I think it would be better if that was more of a bonus while actively playing, it just feels really bad when the majority of your machines are stopped and waiting and even pumping biz coins into reduction of wait time doesn’t feel like enough. I use the sale option every time it pops up and it still feels like you hit a pretty hard roadblock. Overall the game is very fun and enjoyable. ✓ Good but…Game has been enjoyable, but as soon as I tried to sync my data from phone to ipad, I lost a lot of progress and this loss ended up being synced on both devices and now there is nothing I can do, currently hoping that customer support will fix this and make it right, if they do I will increase my rating to 5 stars, but right now I am absolutely livid, how can you even let this be a possible bug, why offer the option to sync your data when it clearly doesn’t work! My partner suffered the same issue but luckily she didn’t lose too much progress, I on the other hand have spent a reasonable amount of money to help progress through and earn event rewards, but having my data taken back before that, it’s all just lost! It’s not like restore purchases can help me in this scenario. Truly shocking this is a bug you are just allowing to continue to live on..Version: 1.4.0

✓ Fun game, but…When you don’t have enough resources to build a workshop order it’s difficult to read the writing on the “build” button. The red text coupled with the small font on a grey background make it hard to see. It’s a little annoying that the timer in between orders doesn’t continue to count down in between orders. Although it’s an idle clicker game, there are aspects of the game such as this that mean you do have to keep it running all the time in order to progress. It’s a well thought out concept, and there’s plenty to do in the game. I do wonder why there are no “common” characters though, only rare, epic, or legendary.
