✓ Needs new content and balancing.Been playing every day since just a couple days after release. Have purchased several IAPs. Still haven’t caught Shredder. All buildings fully unlocked, all areas unlocked. Frankly it gets boring at this stage. 12 more days until a tournament starts, that’s lame. Progression is painfully slow. This game needs a major update to add new content, needs to expand the existing areas beyond the current boundaries. Needs to pay more for caught fish. A titanium rod should last a lot longer. Day:night cycle seems to run off real time which means you might never have the chance to catch a certain fish based on your schedule. Maybe 4 hours day then 4 hours night would help with that. Basic bait works much better than the nearly useless monster bait. Lots of updates with no details provided and as far as I can tell nothing has actually changed. Must be bug fixes and optimization, but nothing new for the gameplay. I’m less enthusiastic than I was previously. No more purchases until thing improve. Think I’ll delete app and check back in several months..Version: 1.13
✓ Needs fixingNeed to have the fishing poles last longer, when your basic stick pole last just as long as the 1000 coin one or higher that is a huge problem. I love to fish and I know it’s a game but this isn’t right for a new 1000 coin or higher to break after several catches and it does. I have had my real pole I fish with and it has lasted me for almost 10 yrs and it is of good quality. I know why you do this, but still isn’t right to your consumers. There is circle around your boat as you fish you can’t see the whole circle and you miss the larger fish sometimes. When you do projects in the games to find this or that you can never find what they are asking for, but when your not doing one of those tasks you find them all day long, what gives? Not saying to make it easier, but drop a small hint. Putting these issues aside it is a fun game, if you decide to fix these issues it would be appreciated..Version: 1.65
✓ Good game, but SLOW playI suppose in the true essence of fishing, this game in entertaining, but slow. I have played it for a week, and still don’t know if there is any true multiplayer aspect to the game, although I can “see” other players. I wish there were more tasks each day. I don’t like that the transition to the next task is basically “come back tomorrow”. I wish there was another/more grindy way to get materials needed to build on the island for those who want to spend a longer time in the game to get more done. Fish types/silhouettes could be a little more obvious in the water too. And, I don’t even know how effective or percentage more effective each rod or fish food is from one another. ✓ Pretty good wee game.Good game. Really slow paced, which isn’t a bad thing. It’s a simple yet rewarding game. My one complaint would be the acquisition of the gems is too few considering you need them for fishing for the big monster fish. It feels like there’s no way around this without in game purchase which is a shame. ✓ SLOW!It’s a beautiful game it has such depth to it and I’d love to be able to enjoy all it has to offer but I doubt I ever will, you make no progress! You can spend ages playing and get nowhere, so essentially you have made a game hardly any players will stick with and get to see all the other levels. ✓ Wish there were better explanations.I really enjoy this game. It is very relaxing just like real fishing. However it’s hard figuring things out sometimes. And as best I can tell there’s nowhere to get help. The notebook gives no explanation for your quest. The only thing it tells you is who the person is and which area they’re in. I don’t know if there are specific ways that are better to fish for creatures or trash as opposed to catching fish. And you’re kinda just left hanging wondering which method you should try. The epic Baits and monster Baits don’t work that I know of. and the fishing poles take no time to break which is very sad considering how much they cost. I like the game but it needs improvement. ✓ Extremely stingyOne of the most stingy games I have ever played. You essentially are required to pay for premium currency to play this game. As well as just waiting around several days to finish the buildings. There’s not even an option to pay real money to speed it up, so you’re literally just waiting days to collect a couple scarce planks per day, for seemingly no reason at all. It would make way more sense to actually be able to earn the planks through gameplay. Basically be prepared to mindlessly fish for no apparent reason, and for no actual gain since it costs gems to buy anything important. Just a map to Great Lakes (which you should have already) costs 40 gems. You can only earn 1 to 2 gems PER DAY. There’s also a wheel you can spin with the possibility of winning a few items, but between each item is an EMPTY space. So be prepared to win nothing from that 50% of the time. On top of that it costs 100 coins to go fishing? So each time you come back to sell with the standard bag size, it negates half or more of your profit. Essentially just doubling the grind for coins. Nothing in this game makes any sense..Version: 1.43

✓ It’s okQuite an addictive game but have been trying to catch the mimic octopus and shredder for days now and it’s virtually impossible, some of the fish in the other levels are way to difficult to catch and have lost interest in playing this game simply because it’s so hard to catch some of the fish. I do play this in my free time but it’s off putting that you can’t catch some of the fish despite other players advice. Don’t think I’ll be keeping the app, perhaps increasing the possibility of catching the bigger fish to keep the players interest would keep the players interest otherwise it just becomes boring.Version: 1.26
✓ Beautiful game ruined by its poor monetisationThis game could be so much more if it weren’t for its poor monetisation system. It looks like so much love and care went into the art style, characters, music and features. I appreciate that. But it kind of stops there. I lost all drive to play this game after finding out you can purchase rare and epic bait with real money. I don’t really see the point in playing if you can just essentially buy rare fish. Why bother with leaderboards when people can just buy there way to the top. Why not just have a monetisation system based around cosmetics? Why not monetise things like the aquarium. ✓ Missed Opportunity- So CloseBeautiful visuals, immersive sound design, promising meta layers with multiple areas to grind and progress, but ultimately it comes to an awkward halt when you find yourself doing all things possible to check off a “rare” catch and it becomes painfully slooooow and frustratingly impossible. (And I’m just on the first map.) It’s a bummer with all the potential it has and the care that obviously went into the other areas of the game. Games starts to feel pretty shallow and disappointing after so many “un-lucky” moments. You’d think they’d build in a “fail safe” or “courtesy” system to alleviate potential burn out. Again beautiful game with so much potential, just a bummer to have to delete and rate it so low. Games too hard. Good luck catching “the elusive Shredder”. ✓ Updating my reviewGame is relaxing, well designed and lots of tasks to do which is all good. The main downside is that you are charged 100 conus every time you leave the map to sell fish, which takes most of the earned coins away. With that and rods snapping frequently the coins are very difficult to acquire and it’s difficult to buy the 1000 coin improvements. Update: Recently starting crashing too much, the game requires way to much patience to catch the big fish to just crash in middle of reeling in a monster. Starting to become too unenjoyable and if it crashes in the middle of reeling a big fish again I will delete the whole app which is a shame..Version: 1.30

This is not a good update its totally confusing when you are fishing with a whole group of people and all you can see is fishings reels not the fish. ✓ Frustratingly slow and low reward for time you spent.This game has lots of possibility but it’s so frustratingly slow and low reward for the amount time you have to spend. The rarer fish are literally rare. Even if you manage to catch few and sell, it’s not much profit cuz your rod breaks after certain casts. There are 3 types of rods but you can only buy/use one at a time and if you buy a new rod while having a rod, the previous ones disappear. ??? like why can’t i have all three rod in my inventory and use whichever i like? And the buildings..lol there’s like no info about them. Like what’s is for, why do i need it? And to build a building you need tonss of material(wood) but you only get 8 or less ? material a day…only if you have all maps unlocked. Plus there’s no other way of getting material. So you have to login every day for 5,6 days just to unlock a building you don’t even know what its for. Plus i just few coins(which i spent hours) while buying rods cuz network error. ✓ Fun, until it isn’tGameplay is fun, for a while, then it just gets tedious. The fish seem to disappear and I have to wonder if it’s a push to get you to use bait, which is annoying and removes the fun from the gameplay. Also, nothing is explained, people have made wikis with good guesses but there’s very little in the game that is explained. This is lazy. No stats, no info on what anything actually does (the skills section is very vague and unhelpful) it’s just a mess. The other “players” in the game world…make it so much worse. You’ll be waiting for a bite and another player will zoom over your bobber and can cause a preemptive reel (losing the fish) or it will dart before you see it. The emoticons are unhelpful and there’s a bug that leaves an emoticon on the center of screen until you restart the game. Lures are a joke? Or maybe it’s just another item they didn’t describe well? Either way, if you have a level 5 (any level I’m guessing) lure for a specific fish, and you go to the spot that specific fish spawns at…..you will catch anything and everything except that type of fish. Idk if this is intentional or what but it was the final straw for me. This is a potential game. It has potential. But there are too many flaws in it to waste my time anymore. ✓ PAAAAAAINFULLY SLOW!!!This game has a lot of potential as it’s pretty fun and relaxing but omg is it slow!! Paying coins every time you go out to fish means progress to new areas and enough coin for customisation takes weeks! The catching mechanics are incredibly tedious and after 15-30 minutes of reparative graft you have 3 fish you sell for next to nothing. You get directed to named places for quests yet theres no map or any indication at all of where these places are except for the main areas as you pass through them. Like how do we know where or what a ‘sunken platform’ is without googling it? What you call a sunken platform I see as an old oil rig, so some form of guidance for non-develops would be great. On that note it is a shame that the app developers clearly put more time and effort into making it a pay to win game instead of a nice relaxing game that people will inevitably invest really money into, not because the have to, but because they enjoy the game so much. I also really hate games with real time daylight!!! Like give us the option to turn it off. I’m playing this to get lost in the bright colourful world you’ve created, but like most working people i only play phone games before bed, and once the brightness is down on my phone, the constant in game nighttime makes it pretty much impossible to see what you’re doing. ✓ So much potentialMaterials are scarce, specifically wood. gems are hard to get, which normally i would be fine with but this game needs to lower the prices for gem bought items. it takes days to get enough just to get monster bait, something you practically need to get a monster, which you need in order to go on more missions. it’s highly difficult to level up in this game and is super repetitive. i feel like i’m spending a lot of time catching fish or trash, running out of storage, (you only get 5 slots, of course you can buy more with gems but i explained that issue already) and repeating this. another thing is that they have a lot of things without any explanation of what it is. these buildings that i’m collecting wood for, what are they? there should also be some sort of tutorial or question board, who would’ve known there was a daily spin? but i should mention i have yet to win anything on it since every other slot is empty… this game is so cute, but it isn’t fun to play because it’s not rewarding whatsoever. it’s as if the game is grabbing for money by purposefully making materials scarce, and item costs high. also, one complaint is how they label a native headdress as “trash.” really?? call it an artifact or something, anything but trash! their culture isn’t a part of a game, it’s real, and sacred..Version: 1.51

✓ Too slowSure it is supposed to be relaxing, but everything takes sooooo long. Progression in this game is like watching grass grow. Also need a bit more instruction for catching and identifying new/rare fish. I’ve been going around the same map for days fishing at all times of day using all the techniques the game has taught, but only catch the same types of fish or garbage. Special baits cost red gems which are terribly slow to earn unless you want to swipe your card to buy them. Also inventory space is abysmal. Going between the area where fishing is allowed and back to home base is nearly nonstop because there is such little space. I wish this game had some more engaging design or balance it out differently so it is at least fun even if it does take a little while to progress. As it stands right now, there is nothing to do except circle the same areas in vain catching the same fish with little to no reward. I can’t remember all the tactics of catching certain fish. I don’t know when to use the available items and what they are for. I’m at 24% on the first fishing area and I keep fishing and nothing new is happening. It gets boring. But I am going to keep this on my phone and play it time to time because it is fun at times. Also the wood required to build upgrades is too much for the amount of time you actually find wood. It means you have to play the game a LoT if you want to find the wood. ✓ Beautiful fishing simulatorGives a really great simulation of fishing. The frustrating search for fish, the easy to challenging reel in for a fish. Was fun, why did I delete it before? Read my review and was reminded, previously I made mistakes that I couldn’t fix by resetting the game. I couldn’t reset the game, so gave up. Well, recently I tried it again. Again, I found it fun to play. But the thing that ticked me off, is the Ad system that allows players to get extra rewards by watching ads. Well, it’s doesn’t always give you a reward after you’ve watch the ad to the point where it says Reward Granted. I’d recommend you don’t watch the ads, as it could be a waste of your time. You pay the devs with your time, and they can’t even reward you properly. I just can’t help but feel cheated. So, I gave up and deleted the game..Version: 2.08
✓ Cool game but definitely pay to playGreat graphics, background music and cool characters and different locations, but unless you want invest countless hours doing the exact same thing over and over again which becomes very tedious, it’s a pay to play game, you can’t upgrade your storage, or get the monster bait which is pretty much required to get the monster fish without diamonds which you can’t get in a timely fashion so you almost have to buy them. Cool concept and overall great game except the fact that you’re limited in what you can do and get unless you want to spend hours and hours and hours playing or spend real money. Real time is annoying for people who work full time and don’t have time ‘in the morning’ to catch a carp before work! 4. Payment for fish is pitiful. Takes way too long to accumulate income and as for building, 2 wooden boards per island is ridiculous 5. You have no idea on the health of your rod, apart from when it’s too late. This makes catching monsters very very infuriating 6. Too many things cost gems, which take a lifetime to collect. 7. I had to join a discord group to locate some of the items….and even then it was inaccurate. I don’t want to spend hours sitting in the same circle of water casting and pulling coconuts out of the water. 8. Let us choose a rod to take with, not just the one you’ve bought. I don’t want to waste a carbon rod on litter. 9. What is the point of the aquarium? 10. Allow expansion of things with coins not gems This list could go on. ✓ Needs a lot more.I got excited when I randomly found this game but so far I am highly disappointed. Leveling up takes so much work. There’s very little to do right off the bat. I use gems for luck but still catch the same fish. Quests are few and far in between. You need wood to make a new area at your dock but you get like 3 a day. I played “Tides, a fishing game” a few months back and that was the game that got me into fishing games but I completed it in a month or 2 and they haven’t updated it or added anything new so I stopped playing. This game needs a lot more to keep players interested. There also needs to be a missions log in your phone to keep track of your current mission/goals. That should of been an obvious feature but it isn’t. Some sales for new players like wood bundles, poles, boats, etc would be a nice feature. I do like there’s no disruptive ads….. So just wanted to add that, yes it is pay to play, I tried playing for a whole day without spending real money, and it changed the entire dynamics and feel of the game from fun and engaging to repetitive, bland, slow and boring. Without spending money the progress you make in a week is the equivalent to what you would make in a day if you were to spend money. It’s extremely hard to catch the bigger fish without using the special bait which cost 4 gems. The only time you get gems is when very rarely you get a chest and there’s 1 measly gem in the chest. Maybe 3 times a day if that. 4 gems will last you 2 rounds if you’re lucky. Now the monster bait cost 10 gems. Having to wait until night time, it would take you about 4 days or so just to get 10 gems so you can buy the bait to catch shredder. Otherwise ur relying purely on being at the right place at the right time. And unless you stay up the entire night then the possibility of you catching him/her/it is very low. You can buy 60 gems for $2.99aud. So around 1.99us or somewhere around that. So you can see the difference between spending and spending real money. It totally changes the feel of the game from excellent to average. Not very fair on those who can’t really afford it or don’t know how to steal their parents credit card. Otherwise the game is 5 stars. So fix it, why be that greedy that you feel the need to rip the people off that are supporting your work. Doesn’t make sense. Peace.Version: 1.55
✓ Money grabThey originally were aimed at pay-to-win peeps, that’s fine, gotta make their money yes, but they just changed a few things, like instead of premium currency to upgrade lures it’s now coins, but they tanked the price of fish, soooo the only way to actually make money and progress is to use the most basic fishing rod in the first area, it’s terrible. One of the devs has an ego the size of a whale shark, I blocked him on discord so I could avoid seeing his replies to people, just awful Now I will say, currently, ads are completely voluntary, and premium currency is earnable v slowly, but the price of fish is hella important when fishing rods don’t even show how much they have degraded until they’re like 3 fish away from breaking, so, to summarise: Before it was grindy but fun, could progress steadily Now it is all grind, minimal fun, minimal story line progression.Version: 1.45
✓ It’s okGreat concept, artwork and music is beautifully done, but the game is just very slow paced, and doesn’t seem to progress anywhere meaningful, I’d love to be heavily invested but I just can’t stay focused on the grind, rinse and repeat. Maps are beautifully done but could do with be slightly bigger or more interesting, the capturing ‘monsters’ doesn’t really explain how this is possible enough and has left me confused and bored. ✓ Hack/ModsI initially like the game very much! Spent days to fish and spent the whole weekend to get most points for tournament. Unfortunately, I just couldn’t believe that I saw multiple players using hack/mod tools to win those tournaments! A normal play usually spent 5-10 minutes to get one tournament point after certain level. Those hackers gain 15-20 points within the same time period. Please tell me if there is any purpose to play if the game system does not even fair! I tried to report but could not find any link. I truly wish the developer will spend time to return a fair system back to us!.Version: 1.64
✓ Great but…The game is fun and relaxing until it isn’t. Game mechanics that cause stress go against the entire idea of this game. Rods shouldn’t break. Axes shouldn’t be limited use. And any thing else along those same lines. Things that are missing and need to be added to this game. The places on maps not all are there. Once caught fish it should have the most likely locations to be caught in their details, maybe even placed on the maps. The monsters should have a more obvious visual to know they are there and not need players to use monster bait, bought with pay 2 win gems. The bob while fishing should be more obvious, blue on blue isn’t a good color choice, for design or accessibility. When something is being built or an npc quest it should give a real world time countdown clock, not come back tomorrow..Version: 2.08
✓ Great concept but regionsUnfortunately due to reliance on real world clock to determine night time and day time, this game is broken for anyone outside certain time zones. It’s a shame because I love the concept and gameplay.. shredder is impossible unless I wake up at 4am..Version: 2.08
✓ GarbageLies lies lies! Stupid game. There’s like day timers to limit your fishing. Also it’s just fishing. Like 99% of the time you will play a crappy fishing sim and pull trash from the water on a small map. Very generic. Very very annoying how the people you talk too always say I’m going to do this for you, or show you how to find a real monster, and you do several several several things that are often poorly explained and then he just ignores whatever the reward was suppose to be and forces you to go pull seaweed or something stupid AGAIN! 2 rods, 2 baits, about 20 fish and 50 trash types The “creatures” are locked behind days(literal days) of generic fishing sim trash finding. Booooring It’s not fun. Then even if you try to keep doing what they say, they will hit a HARD timer and simply tell you to come back tomorrow. You have to wait a whole day to get 2 or 3 more stupid lie quests and still NO CREATURES OR WHATEVER THIS STUPID GAME TRIED TO ADVERTISE. It’s not worth your time. Very generic. ✓ Devs act very unprofessionallyOne of the devs in the official discord will actively mock members and take sides regarding clan disputes. They act extremely childish. I would not recommend playing this game if you wish to be able to engage with the devs in a respectful manner, as they don’t seem willing to do so..Version: 1.78
