✓ All my books and coins are goneI have been a reader now for several years and have/ had a large library which I am constantly adding to. Today though the app seemed to be having problems, it cut out, had a lot of static, and was skipping chapters. Was told once a long time ago to delete and reinstall the app when I was having some trouble with it, which I did and it had fixed my problem, so I repeated it for this problem. I reloaded to find that not only do I now have any of the books I had, but I have also lost all my coins that I had purchased. It gave me 6 books, 4 of which I never saw and of the ones I did, showed I hadn’t read anything. My balance was 400 coins from the pkg I had purchased, now reads zero..Version: 1.19.0

✓ Annoying music you can’t get rid of plays over the bookThis morning I opened the app and there’s an AWFUL drum beat that plays before you even open your book. You would think it would go away, but it doesn’t, so your book is being overshadowed by this stupid song that the app is playing and it’s complete sensory overload. I can’t do it. I’m already annoyed that the book I’m listening to has weird music and sound effects while the narrators read. I don’t think that should be allowed, there are a lot of folks with sensory issues like me out there that hate it. Please fix the app, I can’t turn the music off and I’m not going to listen to a book while it plays. If it isn’t fixed soon I’ll go through the App Store to get the money I just added refunded and I’ll delete the app. It’s a deal breaker for me..Version: 1.19.2
✓ Has serious potentialThis app has potential to easily be 5 stars. Most of the production is done well, except I listened to a book the other day where a lot of the mess ups weren’t taken out - the narrator would say something wrong, stop a second, clear their voice & try the line again. But that wasn’t too bad. My biggest issues with this is there needs to be an option like the Galatea app where you can pay for unlimited listening for X amount of time - 1 week, month, year…. Also, I HATE that from my locked screen I don’t have the option to skip back a few seconds, it takes you to the beginning of the previous chapter - not even the chapter you’re currently on! That’s frustrating. Overall, most of the narrators I have heard are either really good or at least have really good potential (everyone has to start somewhere!) So yeah, the talent is generally quite good, but I need an option to be able to pay for a certain amount of time. If I have to spend so many coins/chapter, the books aren’t worth it - I can pay for cheaper options on Audible. I would love to be able to keep listening to these authors & to support this app, but something has to change first. Otherwise, I’ll be deleting it & cutting my losses..Version: 1.10.5

✓ WehearIt’s ok if you want to pay for each chapter. End up being as much as buying a book. Starts with 5 coins to like 56 coins. 400 coins for $3.99. The shortest is about 56 chapters. Only first 3 chapters are free. 3-5 minutes each chapter. You are paying more than $3.99 for the whole book. You can wait each day for a free chapter. Takes you about 2 weeks - 3 weeks to actually finish a story for free. The stories seem to be corny and seems like teens are the one’s who write them. When have you heard of a werewolf Alfa, known to be the the most feared, cry because his mate is crying. The stories are ok. I’m my opinion, it’s best to get an app where you can just buy the whole book and read it. Maybe even cheaper..Version: 1.8.3
✓ Great app BUTSo far I’ve been enjoying the audio options but unfortunately the chapters can be pretty short for the asking amount of coins/bonuses. The site does give you options to earn free bonuses by watching adds but personally I don’t feel it’s enough. I find it very costly. I’ve already spent close to $10 on chapters for a specific book and there’s still 37 chapters to go. I’m really enjoying the book but I don’t think it’s worth buying a ton of coins to use towards it. This means if I want to finish the book, it’s going to take me forever unless I keep putting money into buying the chapters. :( With that said, if it’s a free book, you shouldn’t have any issues at all and will absolutely love this app!.Version: 1.19.1
✓ It could be betterSo I’ve been using this app for about three years now the first time I downloaded it. It was like you had to listen for 15 minutes. 30 minutes 60 minutes and you got a reward and it was easy to get the rewards and I got to listen to great books now since the app stopped working, I had to uninstall it and re-download it. I had already had some of my favorite books saved on there and would not find my account so I re-downloaded it and had to create a whole new account and now I have to pay for all those books that I love to read and listen to all over again it’s so much harder if you’re not willing to pay just to get through chapters of the books on here i’ve already spent 30 bucks and still have not even got past like 26 chapters in a book that I really enjoyed so far wish so better and easier ways to afford the chapters and I wish I could find my old account because that already had all these books that I love to read on it.Version: 1.22.1
✓ Good so farWriting this review to claim the coins So far the app is good, the story is addictive and good to listen to. The down falls however is the having to wait to read the next chapter if not willing to pay which in my opinion is not worth paying for due to the bad grammar and spelling, even thought it is an audible book I still to need to read to understand what the story is saying.Version: 1.1.1
✓ Pay and stories.The people reading it, actually makes it really enjoyable. But, I don’t really like to pay when it says it’s free. I do like how you can listen to it for a few minutes to see if you would like it or not before spending any money. I do know some people have problems with buying the coins to read the stories. I gave it a 3 people the stories are really good and the people reading it makes it even better, but the paying for stuff is different. I wish you could just buy the whole thing instead of buying chapters. (You might be able to do that, but I didn’t see it.).Version: 1.18.1

✓ So many spelling errors.Lots of 5 star reviews as your given a boy to do so but this Ap is so frustrating. If your reading a chapter rather than listen the spelling mistakes are ridiculous. They don’t even make the same mistake each time and therefore you have no idea what it’s ment to say and have to put the audio on to figure it out. Stories don’t have a lot of depth to them and they need to be proof read before being put on this ap..Version: 1.1.0
✓ Addictive and expensiveI honestly love it but it charges you a lot for nothing. I love the stories and listening to them but chapters are expensive for how short they are but addictive to spend on. Small amounts add up and before you know it you’ve spent a ridiculous amount on a book you can’t even read again over time because it deletes itself..Version: 1.11.0

✓ It amazing but…So this just happened to me I loaded up the app to claim my point to unlock more episode and well after that I look and well I had about 200 points missing for the number I had the night before the number was 300 and something and when I got on it was 181 and the thing is I didn’t even buy any chapters after the last free episode ended I just left it there and when on to another story that I liked!! Now I had to gain those all over again which I’m fine with but like it takes to hour to get the bonus points and uh I’m not real happy with what happen and like please do something to this but if you can’t need leave it…. ✓ It's okayThe Bad: The stories can be irritatingly similar within a genre to the point that it seems like 90% were written by the same author. There are plot holes, 2D flat characters, and a several other issues in a lot of the books that I'd expect from creative writing assignments turned in by highly inexperienced writers.I have also noticed they haven't edited out the mistakes made by their voice actors at times, which cuts into the flow of the audiobook. The Good: There are several stories with genuinely interesting elements, written by writers who clearly have potential. It's worth looking for those. I do also enjoy having different stories to listen to while I complete other tasks and this app makes such things free and easily accessible for the times when I don't want to invest in hours-long audiobooks that I may not end up enjoying..Version: 1.18.0
✓ Poor quality and customer serviceThank goodness I did not waist a lot of money. The 1st book I started with was a wait to listen, that was fine it put me in a false dream the audio was quality. The second book I purchased and that’s when it went downhill. The audio would stop a few seconds or minute into the chapter. When I would start it again it would start from the beginning of the chapter. The fast forward would not work. I sent 3 emails to support and no response. The only reason I gave it 3 stars is because the books were good. I ended up getting them on another platform and read them versus listening. 🙁.Version: 1.20.2

✓ Love itI love this app. It really good for dyslexic people such as myself. It so nice to just listen and understand the story without having to stop and figure out what something says. However, I don’t like the fact that you have to use coin to buy every chapter and if you don’t have enough you have to buy more or wait for your next update on coins, so you have to stop reading. ✓ So many mistakesI love this app and love the stories the problem is that there are so many mistakes both grammatical and verbal. Some of the narrator’s do not pronounce words properly for example pronouncing v as a w the good thing is I’m hooked. I’ve started reading the Romano series the books themselves are great but the grammar is awful it sounds like no thought is given to grammar he and she is mixed up also in and on as well as sentence structure. ✓ Okay, but frustrating.Getting coins to unlock the next chapter is not so easy without paying. Why do most if not all of these not have a time unlock so that you can read the next chapter the next day? It’s almost frustrating. I love books, and even though the subtitles are not always what is being said, I still like to read and follow along with what I am hearing. I am a perfectionist, and seeing someone mess up English when it’s obvious what is being said is an irritant. ✓ StupiedDon’t get me wrong the books I’ve started to read where good do you get how I said started it’s impossible to finish a book unless you pay out of pocket and some chapter are like 3-5 min long and you have to spend bonus again which leads to paying they don’t have enough options to earn them and they don’t give enough they have you do still like share the books just to get 5 bonus point when your chapter your trying to unlock is like 54 points then there’s one that’ll give you 10 for each friend that opens the link you share and I did that and didn’t receive anything now you can do surveys but 😭😭don’t even waste your time your not gonna get them unless you pay for something and even then you still don’t get it now you end up with spam emails….. ✓ Inefficient App Experience & Expensive for Low Quality StoriesI don't care for the short chapters and having to stop to "unlock" chapters by waiting for or paying for coins as you go. This concept feels clunky and inefficient, often pulling the reader or listener from the story every 4-15min depending on chapter length. But what I really can't get behind is the cost to unlock these chapters (whether via cash or time spent earning free coins by doing surveys, watching ads, or spending money through affiliate ads) is utterly ridiculous, especially considering the quality of these stories. How is there not a vetting process for authors and narrators to weed out poor quality writing and robot narration? These stories just frankly aren't worth the wait/work..Version: 1.8.3
✓ Automatic ProblemsHonestly, I love this app, the last update with the use of auto play is the problem. I have used the app for over a year and usually the auto voice warns you before it buys the new chapter and never opens the book for you on first opening the app. Recently it’s been giving a greeting and auto opening my book when majority of the time I’m on the app for another book or something else. Please turn off the auto opening, I find it annoying to have to always close the book and especially when it opens a chapter I don’t want to spend my coins on and I’ve turned all the chapter auto unlocks off..Version: 1.18.1

✓ I like it butI’m enjoying the books but my coins I earn do not always load and I’m worry paying for it won’t receive all I paid for but only time will tell how long I continue with this app. Update I paid for the highest promotion for new users but I did not receive enough to complete a book granted I got 2200 coins and points and I still have 36 chapters to go. So I don’t know if it’s worth it to continue I like the book but it seems like the writer has such a juvenile way of thinking when she create her characters it takes too long for ADULTS to get their ish together. They are bratty, illogical, making foolish mistakes I fear if she anything like her characters as writers put a little bit of themselves in their work I have pitty for her personal life that’s how childish her characters are but once we got past that and finally gets good around chapter 100 mind you I run out coins it’s annoying. ✓ Need ability to review individual booksI’m giving 3 stars because overall I like the app, but I think that readers should be able to submit reviews and criticisms for individual books. How are authors supposed to be able to improve without knowing what their readers think about their products? E.g. I have already quit one book that I was grating on my nerves because it was supposed to be set in a specific location but didn’t use the wording or speech patterns for that location. But I can’t submit that information to anyone, so it’s not going to change which will probably put off other readers as well in the long run..Version: 1.3.0

✓ ABSOLUTELY UNBELIEVABLEI was originally super excited about this app! Being able to listen to a book while I’m cleaning or running around with the kids was awesome! They of course have the “bulk unlock” like normal book apps have- I saw a book I wanted and began stockpiling my point/coins or whatever you want to call them. I log on today so I can FINALLY Listen to the whole book at once and almost ALL of my coins are gone! Including the ones I purchased!!! I lost over 1500 bonus points/coins and I am left with 300 coins when chapters cost 40 coins each! This is completely unacceptable! Borderline scam. How are coins and bonuses going to expire within a few weeks!? Especially ones that people purchased!!!!??? SMH Unless u have the capability and patience to read one and two chapters a day everyday, I would opt for a different audio sight. Dreame now has audio- AND THE COINS AND POINT DONT EXPIRE!!!! ✓ Not too badThe app itself works well and it’s really nice to have books read to you (like an audiobook). As a busy mum, I can listen to a book while doing other jobs, rather than having to stop and sit to read. Unfortunately, I think a lot of the books are written by people that English isn’t a first language and the books are very expensive to buy each chapter.
