IssueHi demo i love the app theres a lot of good things but my recorded voice audios keep going silent and then stop working after played a few times. how do i fix this.Version: 2.0.1

Voice recordingNice app when you wake up in the middle of the night and you quickly need record your idea before it’s gone. I wish there was an option to record singing or humming the melody on the chords progression. If the option already exists, it is hard to find.Version: 2.3.2

First dayIts my first day with this app. I have not yet understood how to grt maximum advantage creating songs yet but will keep trying to get experience..Version: 2.1

Delayed timing when recording audioAnd there ain’t a way to adjust it.Version: 2.0.1

Subscription misleadingWhen subscribing the application gives you two selections to pay monthly or yearly. When selecting monthly it changes you around $40 instead of around $8. Very misleading. I would of liked this product if the design wasn’t used finically mislead the customer..Version: 1.2.1

Not bad but very limitedNot a bad app but it isn’t cheap and as such, I feel the options are very limited for the price! There is only one main instrument which is piano/synth and you can’t alter the drums or bass presets other than add reverb to it. The mixer tool is very limited too. The tutorials are very minimal. When I record vocal with reverb on, it adds reverb to the whole track and I can’t work out how to not make it so. I hope new versions of the app will address some of this. It’s a nice little app, not worth its price yet in my opinion but could become it with more development..Version: 1.3.4

Would be better as a free appIt’s pretty good! If this app was free with micro transactions for certain features then it would be much more attractive. The app is pretty awesome. Some of the chord progressions are a little basic but it’s definitely a helpful tool for any music producer. If I designed the app I would make it free and then lock features like the export or even recording behind a paywall so it doesn’t seem like such a money grab. But I would absolutely rate five stars if that was the pay structure..Version: 1.1

Extremely limited, even after payingNeeds to allow more customizable tempo and melody, not just customizable chords. I don’t like paying for an app and then feeling imprisoned by the presets. I have a song I wrote before using this app, that I don’t have all the physical instruments to do on my own, and I know exactly how I want it to sound… but this app doesn’t let me plug in the notes I want in sheet music, or adjust without inserting a whole new chord progression when an instrument comes in and out… the rigid time structure makes singing anything on a funky beat or in anyway overlapping the time signature impossible, even though tons of popular songs do this. Not overly complicated songs either, it would be nice to be able to syncopate and sing without being interrupted by abrupt pauses… I wish there was a “sustain pedal” function that allowed a note to carry for 8:4 without the “PLANG” sound of the note being hit again in the middle of singing a longer note…. Just awful that I can’t adjust this more. Also does not appear to be a way to overlap voice recordings and other instruments like bells or harmonica or an extra piano for notes the app refuses to allow me to customize..Version: 2.0

My reviewI rate this app a 2/5. There are multiple reasons of why I rate this a 2/5 so to break it down, I’m going to write a list of pros and cons. Let’s start off with the cons because I have quite a few: - the app is forcing me in to getting demo + This prevents me from making music that I enjoy at an affordable price. But instead demo plus is forcing me to make music at a highly unreasonable price. This is devastating for people like myself who can’t afford to get demo plus. Pros I got to at least make two completely ridiculous songs Music is my passion and this app is preventing me from making the music I want. But there’s always another option which is t download music making apps which are better than demo or demo plus. Thank you for reading this review Please think about improving this app Ps. It might even change lives.Version: 1.4.3

LimitedThe app asks you to pick from a few styles of music then forces you into a sort of tutorial. However, I didn’t even get to complete the tutorial and it was already asking me to subscribe to a plan. From my little experience, the app itself is extremely limited to basic and boring AF chord progressions. I didn’t see any options to write a riff or compose something that wasn’t pop. There is nothing original here. Nothing is going to beat just grabbing your guitar and writing it out for yourself, that process alone is what makes music, not this pre-made cash grabbing garbage..Version: 1.5

Didn’t know u have to pay 50$ a year 😕It’s a good app but u do ace to pay 50$ a year.Version: 1.5

Amazing for songwriting begginersThe app gives you lots of features to be a free version. I purchased the subscription yearly too to have access to lots of other features. A bit complicated to use tho but sole buttons do other types of effects instead of the commands there supposed to do. Gonna have to either investigate more or have more use with the app to see if its either the app or me hows going crazy jajaj. Not regret my chance on this app tho. Try it out.Version: 1.2

Cool, but needs more for advanced song writingThe concept of this app is really cool, as it basically allows you to chunk out and write a piece without the need to pick up your instrument. I treat it as an upgraded notes app for my songwriting, where I can record my basic chord progressions and lyrics quick to then have for later when I record. That being said, the app is very limited, and things like key changes are hard because rather than being able to modulate, you have to enter in the individual chords in that key and do it all manually, which really gets in the way and just slows me down. Another thing is that there are only 2 available time signatures, 3/4 and 4/4. As someone who writes a lot in 6/8, this makes it somewhat tricky as I essentially have to write something in 6/8 around a 3/4 grid in this app. Not the biggest deal in the world, but to not include at least the most basic fundamentals when it comes to theory is disappointing. While these may not be an issue for basic songwriters, this is a real pain for us trying to write more complex music, and I think because of that the app will suffer as it isn’t as well rounded if a tool for people into more advanced song writing. Overall, I hope the devs keep adding more features and are able to make this the ultimate companion app for musicians. Keep it up guys!.Version: 1.5

Good but too limitedI was very excited to use this but bumped into the limitations of the app in the first 10 minutes. No customisation of the drums or bass lines. No guitar. No custom chord builder. Only 3/4 and 4/4 time signatures available. No tempo changes possible. All in all a very promising app but with features that I found limited my songwriting rather than helped it..Version: 1.3

It’s decentI’ve been trying to put a song together with lyrics for a while now, I feel like this hits on many of the things I want in an app like this. I put the chords together, and there is a nice handy lyrics rhymer. You can choose from a variety of different chord shapes which is nice and easy to use. Issue is, there’s just stuff missing that I feel I need. A way to add melody. Different time signatures like 6/4, 7/8. Tempo changes. Maybe even just a chord builder so I can just layout a custom chord rather than the preset. I do feel this has helped me in my simpler songs, but there isn’t much control to create more complex songs, at least as of right now. Overall I’d say give it a go since it’s free, but I’d like to know they’ll add some of these features before I commit to a subscription..Version: 1.2.1

Do Not DowmloadThis app will not let you cancel your subscription..Version: 2.4.1

Demo app rateThe app is okay but I hope they can add more free notes and songs beats.Version: 1.4.3

I want to love this appFirst off, I think the concept is great! BUT, there’s an ad that pops up every three seconds about Demo+. There isn’t enough free content available to keep me in the app. I just have to close it because all the annoying pop ups. If there were better free options and I could actually work on a song for more than 3 seconds, I might be willing to pay for a subscription. But right now I don’t see a justification for yet another monthly payment. This app could be cool, but it’s not worth the hassle. Giving two stars just because the concept is cool..Version: 1.1

Wanted to love itI guess it just didn’t suit my style of songwriting. I need somewhere to store my ideas with a guitar tab section, more chordal options, and vastly more rhythmic options. Every chord change on the downbeat was never going to work for me. If these things got added I can imagine I’d love this app.Version: 1.1

Lifetime subscription is a must. Too bad it’s not an option.Amazing app. I’ll never buy subscriptions for stuff like this though. Give me a beefy lifetime cost if you need to, like real recording software and I’ll do that. But I’m not giving you guys 40$/year to have access to this. Nowhere near enough exists in this little app that justifies a subscription. All of the drums sound like bad keyboard synth, as does the actual keyboard. It’s a great tool, but you need to know way more about sounds you want to extrapolate the song you make on this app to something worthwhile. If it had more options for instruments and rhythms you could write out, it might be worth the asking price. Currently though, the price being asked is laughable for the service there is..Version: 1.5

IdeasI enjoy the app and I think it’s a really awesome way to write and create songs on a mobile platform. I’m sure you are working on adding things in the future and improve the app. I think as feedback from me as a user I would ask and say that I think you should add other sounds like guitar, cello or other instruments requested from feeback and I think you should make it where we can add more tracks if possible. I also think you should add a beat track and beat sounds choose from for the different sound progression genres to use with the instrument sounds. I do a have a few more ideas but these are the main crucial ones I think that could heavily impact and improve the experience, capability and potential of this app. I truly enjoy this app and think it is sooo cool, but I cant give it more stars personally till it adds some of these features. I can’t wait to see what you guys come up with!!! I love it!.Version: 1.1

Work lostI am a subscriber and my many hours of work on a new song is gone. I have the app set to backup and the cloud. File was saved. Came back to the app a little later and the file is gone. Checked the cloud-not there. There is no way I can remember all of the lyrics the way I wrote them. Then, to make matters worse, I tried messaging support only to get a text box saying my message cannot be sent, try again later. If I can’t get some help recovering my work then I’m done trying to compose with this app..Version: 2.1

Overall, quite goodI think theres a lack of choice, piano definitely isnt for everyone, if there was an option between guitar or/and Piano that would be brilliant. An attractive design, really easy to understand and certainly makes writing music more fun and enjoyable. I like this app and id recommend it to anyone trying to start music..Version: 1.2.1

Good idea, but very flawedEhhh I don’t know. It’s a really good idea, but I feel like the structure of it gets in my way more than it helps. I saw it and thought it would be a great solution for working on a song I’m currently writing while I’m out and about, but many of the chords I have for it already aren’t available without yet another unnecessary and tacked-on subscription, and being restricted to the preset rhythmic patterns means that I can’t even shape those limited chords with/against the meter of the lyrics. So, that means I’m STILL splitting my songwriting notes between either multiple apps or an app and a notebook at home. I guess I could see it perhaps being better if I was building a new song from scratch, but given the way the app is and the restrictions it has; why would I want to do that? I really like the idea of the app, I just don’t think it’s very good at doing the thing it wants to do..Version: 1.0.6

Great idea- needs some fine tuning. As I song writer I think this is a great app which I have used quite a bit when away from my guitar. I like that I can put my song into one place with all chords, lyrics and audio. I don’t like the clunky piano at all. It would be great if the app had more variety of instruments that are played well. It also doesn’t save the songs to your account so if you download the app on another device your songs won’t be there. Overall it’s a great app for storing your ideas..Version: 1.3

Good for new songwriters, hard for advanced onesThis is a great app for someone who doesn’t know how to play an instrument but still wants to make songs. However, for someone who’s been writing my own songs for years now, I find that it’s hard to use. It’s hard to edit the chords, or make the verse longer, or really make the kind of song you want without having to pay extra. I find that it’s easier just to stick with recording myself on the voice memos app playing piano or guitar and using the notes app for writing lyrics, as I’ve been doing for years. Or for on the go when I get song ideas, I record myself playing a tune on a piano app. This is a good app for someone who’s just starting, and it’s good to get ideas about chord progressions, but what if you want to change the key or put in chords outside of the key signature? I can’t seem to find an option for that. Maybe there is if I pay, I don’t know. So the app is good for beginners, but not for people who are serious about making music..Version: 1.4.3

Creative gatekeepingI kind of laughed to myself before downloading at the thought that “what if they keep anything other than a standard triad behind a paywall?” and then i found out that they actually do keep anything other than a standard triad behind a paywall. Which, i mean, i get it, you gotta make a buck, but that means cookie-cutter songwriting possibilities, not to mention the limit of time signatures, chord lengths, voicings, etc. essentially… it’s just a toy. if anything, the progression packs are the things that should come at a premium, not something so essential as a customizable chord shape. $5.99 or the notes app….Version: 1.5

Broken appI was really excited about this until I tried to actually do anything within the app, it’s actually quite limited even after purchasing, and the app shuts down and completely freezes when you try to make any sort of edits to an existing chord progression. The UI is kind of confusing and the tutorial isn’t very great either. I struggled to actually create something I wanted to and piece it together properly due to the app constantly closing itself every time I tried to make an edit. Not that impressed. Would have been amazing if it actually worked. Would like some actual acoustic guitar, not able to find that for some reason, just let’s, bass and drums?? I think this needs some fixes and a WAY better tutorial. Or a way to retake the tutorial. I also noticed that the option menu doesn’t open when I click it..Version: 1.4.1

Terrible dubs, minimal functionalityWas hoping this would be a cool, quick way to generate a sound and capture lyrics, but the canned music is terrible, the sound options are only a piano, bass and drums, and there’s little to no control of how they sound. Ok if you’re writing pop music, but otherwise, I see no real use for it. It also overwrites your chord progressions without warning if you accidentally select any of the optional built in samples. Wouldn’t recommend..Version: 1.5

DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP PLEASE READDownloaded this to see what it offered and play around with the different features. Very limited if you dont have a subscription, but wasnt going to pay for what seemed like a mediocre app. Come to find out, i checked my bank and was charged by the app anyways AFTER i deleted it!! I contacted Apple about the issue and they refunded me right away. Now today Ive been charged again and i havent had the app on my phone in two days! Im going to have to contact my bank and get them to block any purchases from these people! This is SUPER SKETCHY so please please please don’t download and have your money taken like i did!.Version: 1.4.1

Could Be BetterI downloaded the app thinking this is a pretty cool way to write a song.. I soon realized that for some variety in the rhythms I had to pay and I couldn’t even change the chord progressions without paying.. in turn I bought the premium only to realize that the choices were still very limited and the sound I was looking for wasn’t in any of the presets.. this would be alright if the presets could be ignored and you could make your own rhythm, but you just can’t.. the idea of having the rhythm presets with the lyrics on top and a recording would be awesome for mobile songwriters like myself, but there’s just not enough rhythms, styles, nor flexibility in the app. The app right now should not have a premium because in premium you should be allowed to make changes to the music however you’d like.. If there’s an update where that’s fixed surely this is a 5 star app..Version: 1.1

Pretty cool, but…The concept of this app and the sounds & styles you can work with is awesome, however, the subscription model (ugh, so tired of subs) and confusing user interface are big let downs. If there were monthly updates, the sub would make sense. Maybe even packs you could buy. But after a year of using this off and on, not a whole lot was added or changed. The UI simply doesn’t make a lot of sense and ignores some pretty common UX rules. It’s not always obvious where you are and how to get back to a previous screen. Writing/editing parts of songs is arduous and not fun, and as a result I often stopped using the app for periods of time..Version: 1.4.2

Battery drainI downloaded it and without ever opening it I noticed my battery would drain in a shorter amount of time than usual. Even when I wasn’t using the phone for hours. I deleted the app 3 days later and haven’t had the same problem…. Hope u can fix this cause it looks like a great app.Version: 2.4.1
