✓ Bots for the win…Ok. I actually enjoy this game but there are some frustrating aspects of it for sure. 1. Most games you are not playing against real players. Many times I’ve gotten the ‘bot’ to loop their moves or they will use double and triple powers at the exact same time repeatedly. You can fool them, but as you move up towards level 20 it gets harder. But it is not random the way a human would be so it is clear that most games are against bots. 2. Card system is horrible. Takes forever and stuff you get doesn’t matter that much. Don’t pay ANYTHING for items, coins or gems. It is not worth it unless maybe you want to stop ads. 3. Overall game concept is good and I still play to pass the time, but I’m up to 2 million+ coins because I’ve figured out the bot’s patterns and what works against them for now..Version: 1.7.2
✓ Huge Money Grab!!It would be a huge improvement if you could buy gems with coins earned. I was super disappointed to learn I am playing against bots. It’s not fair that I have to spend money to get power ups when I’m playing bots with endless power ups! Huge money grab for the creators of this game and after I use my power ups I’ll be done with this game. It’s a shame because it is fun. With the right improvements I would consider coming back. ✓ This Game is ridiculousThe game is fun but there’s major problems, there are power ups that literally make you lose the game when playing it. If someone else has a credit card and fingers they can just pay to win their way to victory with 3 power ups per game with a cool down of about 10-15 seconds within a 2 minute game. Not to mention they bombard you with ads every other game. The game truly is fun but with this pay to win strategy it isn’t as fun as it should be. Not to mention my game crashes occasionally and it was so bad I tried on the 6th attempt that I realized it was keeping me out. So I redownloaded it and hoping it won’t crash again. I’m starting to get to the point where if I deal with these issues again or constantly lose to pay to win where my feet get slowed down by some ooze that my enemy activated with their power up that I’m going to quit the game entirely. ✓ Not good at allSo, at first, I really liked this game, but then it would randomly make me start the tutorials all over again. I still had all the same characters and power ups, but the higher levels I got to the higher levels it would force me to play during the tutorial again and there was no way to skip it or click anything else other than what it told me to then during the match it would say reconnecting or kick me out and I would lose my money. It is also no fair or fun to be playing bots all the time because we have endless power ups. this game is awesome. ✓ Don’t get this appFirst of all the mechanics are okay, however it’s difficult to grasp how to play without losing your stamina immediately. Wish there was an option for you to hit the ball without looking stamina points. In order to enter a competition you must add a certain amount of coins to the pool and if you win, you receive yours and your opponents coins. However the amount of money required to enter a comp increases too fast between levels for example; it goes from 400 to 1600, so it’s extremely difficult to work back money when you lose a few times in the row. The fact that you can only gain boosts and level up through accessories which can only be won through cards, which take upwards of three hours to unlock, which you need gems to unlock faster, which you can only win through cards, just makes upgrading so frustrating. Also the match ups are so unfair, you can be rank 15 matched with a level 40. And the power option just completely ruins it, when you have no idea how to use the ability. All and All the mechanics and the premise of the game is great, however the execution and gameplay just fall flat due to the incredibly difficult and time consuming process of progressing in the game. I do not recommend this game if you’re looking for a volleyball related game..Version: 1.8.3
✓ 1game at a timeSo a game is roughly 90 seconds, for winning a game you win some coins and a card pack. The basic card pack takes three hours to unlock and you can only hold 4 packs. You end up playing one game for 90 seconds and then waiting three hours to play again! I never understand why games want you to wait to play their game! ✓ BotsThe game is filled with bots, not real people. In the hundreds of games I have played, I have never went against someone who had 2 or fewer abilities active. The odds of this occurring with real people is almost 0. Also, the bots use powerups even when they have no chance of winning. Real players would not do this, or at least not with such high frequency. I wish the game was more open about telling you that your opponents are bots; disconnecting your internet makes the game end, making it seem like a legit multiplayer game, but it is not. I also wish there were modes without powerups. The game, as it stands, has very overpowered powerups, and they make the game unenjoyable by lowering the skill ceiling; there is no reason to improve your skills if you can just push a button and stun your opponent..Version: 1.18.0

✓ From a teen perspective..Alright so I’m 15 years old. I’ve been playing this game for maybe 3 weeks now. I enjoy this game somewhat but I’ve sorta noticed that all of my opponents are bots. The way I could tell is that they constantly use It’s sorta boring that you can’t challenge your friends. My friends and I downloaded this game thinking it was multiplayer but it wasn’t. Hopefully this feature could be added soon because I think it would be more enjoyable then playing with a bot. ✓ Game doesn’t work after making purchase for Grinch suitI just downloaded the game today and after a few minutes of playing I got an offer for a deal on a Grinch suit. After purchasing the grinch suit for $8 the game just completely stopped working. Every time I try to launch the game it’ll put me into the normal loading screen and then crash as soon as the loading is complete. Game is fun overall I enjoyed the few minutes I played but unfortunately I didn’t make an account when first opening the game and used a Guest account so Deleting and Redownloading the game will get rid of the $8 purchase I had just made. ✓ Very easy to win…filled with bots?So far I’ve been really liking this game, requires some brain activity compared to normal games. I’m currently level 20 now with 5.6 million coins, currently on an 87 win streak because…everyone just does the EXACT same movements every single game. I can repeat the same thing every single time and the opponent does the exact same moment every time, I’m hitting most games with 20+ points per game. I feel like I’m not coming across other players but just bots there to fill? Aside from that anyway, I’ve noticed there’s a bug with the character power number. All opponents seem to be stuck at 61.6, I guess that adds to the bot theory? I wish there were more arenas to get more points, more challenge I guess. Let’s get to the big numbers, we need 2M lobbies, 5M lobbies etc! Really like the packs to open, a surprise with what you get inside. Although for Arena 6 clothing I feel like it’s impossible to get the hats, torsos etc, I’m currently at 0/60 for them with LOTS of packs open. Giving it a 3/5⭐️ as it’s an enjoyable game and a time killer, but there could be many more improvements. ✓ Playing botsThe game itself is actually quite good but I’m pretty sure I’m only playing bots. You can change between characters and each character has a ‘power rating’ I’ve been playing a few days and have probably played 100 games and have never played someone with less power rating than me although I have levelled up equipment and characters. I don’t think I’ve played many, if any real people either. There are some things that don’t add up: 1. EVERY opponent I have played has used a power up at some stage. You initially get some free powerups but would run out quickly if using them every game. I only use mine if there’s a tie break. 2. They often use (waste) powerups when I’m winning 7-1 and there’s no hope for victory for them. 3. I have never won due to connection issues the opponent faced but have lost several times for this. 4. At times it’s strategically beneficial to serve the ball very quickly or take the full amount of time before serving to wind down the clock but every opponent serve appears to be the same Like I said at the start, the game itself is really cool but always playing the computer isn’t great.Version: 1.6.0

However, I find myself, more often than naught, missing button presses and losing matches because the buttons are too low for my hand to press. Everytime I dive to hit the ball I swear it always goes through me and I lose because of it. Also I think there should be an easier way to control your hits and serves like there should be a way to control where your serve goes like either to the back or front. Hitting the ball is quite complicated too sometimes, one time I hit the ball really good and hard then the next time I hit it the same way, it goes really badly. ✓ Fix pay to win and power upsThis game has potential to be one of the best head to head games on the App Store. But it’s pay to win so I don’t think it will ever get there. It’s impossible to win when you’re playing someone who bought 30 of the best power ups and use them on every volley, while you’re waiting 12 hours to MAYBE get power ups out of a pack. You could be the much better player but if the person you’re playing put money into the game then you have no chance. Also the power ups need reworked completely, they are a really fun aspect of the game but some of them are way too strong and you can’t even defend against. It’s a general rule of thumb that in video games you should be able to counter other peoples mechanics in a game, but in this game even if your reactions are perfect you can’t beat certain power ups. ✓ Reward Loop is Garbage, Power-Ups feel CheapI can’t believe I’m saying this, but this game would benefit from an independent energy system. With the rounds being so short, you can fill up your slots for packs in 10 minutes and then have no incentive to play more except for coins. The problem is, coins are essentially your energy. If you ever drop below 100 coins you can’t ply the game at all until a) you get the daily reward (once a day, not always coins) b) you get the free reward for watching an ad (again, once a day) or c) you open a pack (3-12 HOURS each). Because of this there’s no incentive to spend your coins in the shop, because you need them to play the game. Packs take way too long to open and you get them from the first stadium you win in with an open pack slot, which can force you take a pack you don’t actually want. Additionally, the good equipment and characters requires so many cards to unlock that you can really only expect upgrades on the timescale of days. Matchmaking always matches me with people who have better equipment/characters than I do and, while my win-rate is fine against them, it feels like I enter every match at a disadvantage (likely because I do). The power up system feels cheap, most of them are just ways to guarantee yourself a point if played right, unfortunately it detracts from the fun gameplay of the vanilla match. ✓ No Friends PlayThe mystery of “is it a bot or not” is really murky because the “apparent” AI plays pretty natural. Unfortunately when you get a glossy photo of a foreigner sometimes set in casual surroundings you can be sure it’s a bot. Soccer Battle’s three on three arcade rendition of soccer will actually reveal through post game stats if any of your teammates are bots and the bot percentage is low; maybe 20%. This game will never do that as they attempt to lure you into spending money to upgrade your chances of beating more difficult AI opponents. Curious why you can’t change your avatar or even have one unless you go Facebook which will give you your latest photo from that site. You can’t even challenge friends? Come on now! Very good, simple, intuitive gameplay, but a very poor playmaking interface because they are discouraging human vs human. ✓ Not real playersWhy play if you aren’t playing against real people? AI play on does so much. You know it’s AI play because of how they use the power ups. It doesn’t matter what the score is, they always use power ups. A real person wouldn’t waste power ups when losing or winning by a significant amount. Once you get to a certain level of play, they always have the perfect timing and somehow uses multiple power ups at the same time as jumping and hitting the ball. Very unlikely so many people can do that. But then they also use the same power up within a couple seconds of each other. Since you don’t have the option to upgrade any of the power ups, you won’t get reduced cooldown times. Definitely cheating with that. Then there’s the style of play than never changes. Regardless of how the game goes, the other “player” plays the same exact way. That on its own is a dead giveaway. I worked my way up to a 42 character rating and they have me going up against ones with 60+ regularly. It’s either almost a guaranteed victory or a guaranteed loss for me, really no in between. They really do need to have a no power ups mode. I would like to play a game where I’m not bombarded with power ups every single game. Even if I don’t use any, they continuously use them even if I’m down by 10 or up by 10 with 10 seconds left. It’s just stupid.Version: 1.8.3

✓ Fun But Way Too Many ProblemsThe overall idea of the game is enjoyable and it can get very addicting at times for good and bad reasons. The visuals are nice and I like how you can change your character and have power ups. NOW here's the issues and brace yourself, there's a lot. The power packs take forever to load and when you eventually get them, the prizes aren't that great and there's almost always a duplicate item. You have to spend 100 gems just to get five power ups or open a power pack earlier. Speaking of power ups, during the matches my power ups would automatically be used without me touching it at all and that's a complete wast of gems and it also forces you to buy more. When there's a long rally, the ball just starts moving in slow motion and it's really hard to move the ball and this gives the BOT an advantage. Yes you never actually play real people it's all bots and some levels they're 100 better than you and it's impossible to win or they're extremely bad. Weird huh. Another problem is sometimes you'll have a "connection error" and loose all the coins you spent for that level. It's really hard to have any advantages without spending REAL MONEY. Like it's just a game why can't it be fun without it being based off of emptying our pockets??? So many issues that need to be fixed and this game would be decent..Version: 1.6.1

✓ Good but needs improvementThe base game is very enjoyable, got hooked right away and the game mechanics are solid for a casual online/bot multiplayer. However, I didn’t give it a better rating for three main issues for me. First, coins are basically useless beside upgrading characters, which only occur at lower levels because of the nature of the packs. Second, the packs have too long a timer given the little quantity that is in them. You will be stuck at one character for a week or more, and with constant play you only level up to be faced with higher rated opponents. Third, the power ups are decent, they make the gameplay more interesting. But faced against higher level opponents you are basically rendered useless regardless of skill because of the sheer number they have. But tell me, how come >90% of my opponents have premium-like customisations and practically infinite power-ups? The only explanation is that 90% of people mist be buying as much as they can. The bots have infinite power ups, but they only ever use power ups on your second or third touch. This means to win every game you simply drain their stamina by sending the ball over on your first touch until their stamina is depleted for an easy point. Using this method, you’ll quickly realize that every single match is with a robot, because a human would be able to figure out this strategy. ✓ Underwhelming after a few gamesTo start, this game actually seemed really fun. You will enjoy the gameplay, as it is well paced and the power ups keep it from being too dull. However, once you unlock the second arena, it's clear that the game wants you to spend money on upgrades. I stuck to the first arena the entire time, and I would get opponents 10-15 power (I was 20 for reference) higher than me. They were all bots and would have significantly better items and stats. It became unplayable to be out of power ups while the AI bot opponents (no one is real) would use them endlessly. They jump higher, move faster, and have more power ups. Packs take 3-12 hours to open so you can't even upgrade to match the AI opponents as you unlock arenas. Poor matchmaking, no human vs human games and clear money grab. ✓ Ok, not very good.At first I loved this, but it started logging me out. I used to play this a lot an loved it. Later on after I spent lots of money on games, in the middle of the game (when I was winning) it just logged me out and took my gold.
