✓ Fun gameFun game. Just really needs updates constantly. It’s as if the characters freeze and don’t know where to go or who to fight. I don’t know why but they get trapped behind other characters and by the time they’re attacking you’re barely down to your last troops. It’s as if the characters freeze in their tracks. ✓ Good game…untilIt’s a good game and all but a little way through Egypt era it starts getting a bit sketchy and then becomes pay to win. If you don’t want to spend half and hour loading to get one troop which doesn’t make much of a difference you have to start watching ads to gain cash to buy new troops and then it gets worse. The further you go in the more expensive troops get leading to watching more videos until you can’t watch anymore to get nearly enough cash so you have to start paying real money. When I got to this point I realised I couldn’t go any further and therefore becoming sad because I’ve wasted hours on this game. This is a pay to win game. DO NOT BUY.Version: 1.2.8

✓ Update ruined gameGood game to pass the time and keep you coming back for more, I’ve played almost 2000 levels and I keep coming back to play. I like getting new characters to upgrade and use to beat harder levels and bosses. Only problem I have is that in an update they got rid of the ability to earn gems really. Before I was able to earn them through the crate and special missions, but now I can only earn them through challenges and they barely give you any gems to use. They also made buying characters with gems harder and more expensive, before it’d cost 250 gems to open a special pack and now it cost 1000 gems. How are you supposed to regularly open them if you can’t even earn the gems to do so? Just seems like they care more about getting people to buy gems then have fun and earn them..Version: 1.2.0

✓ Ruined by AdsIt’s really a shame. The game is fun, and I’m sorta fine with the ads (I understand that it’s required for a free app). But when you’re required to watch an ad (for triple points, to spin the wheel, to get gold - whatever), 9 times out of 10 it freezes. Either I can’t click the X after watching the ad, the ad stays black the entire time, or I can’t even click the button to kick off the ad. I know it registers my taps because I see the button highlight, but nothing happens. I have two concerns with this game the first is the number and type of ads this app will make you watch. The second is reward progression or to put it another way game progression. Ads are typically 30 seconds of video with an additional pop up at the end. If your device, data plan, or mental state struggles to support this type of app, you may want to look elsewhere for your entertainment. Mandatory add watching is not consistent and that you may be able to play a couple levels without watching an ad. However you can also watch ads repeatedly every level. You can also voluntarily watch ads for additional rewards. When you first start playing this game the rewards match the level that you’re playing. The whole point of this game is to collect units/cards that can be combined to produce stronger units that you use to fight opponents throughout history in short battles of approximately 30 seconds. When I first started a random card/unit was 100 gold. Buy level 60+ each card/unit was 14,000 gold and the reward to complete each level was approximately 1K to 1.5 K gold. You will probably be made to watch an ad every 2 to 3 levels/battles. I would not advise playing this game long-term. The gold and card costs do not match level progression. You will need to watch more and more ads for each additional basic card..Version: 1.2.12

✓ A Game For People Who Love Watching AdsThis game is essentially ad-watching with some short breaks of game playing in between. The game is nothing special, you gain cards that represent warriors, that you combine and make stronger with additional cards that are purchased with in-game currency. The problem is that you are very, very quickly forced to watch ads to gain enough gold to buy these cards. This game is a thinly disguised revenue cow that relies on you watching ads rather than enjoying a good game and compelling you to support a developer that cares about their product and the players. Skip it and try any other game in the App Store. It will still have the same premise towards profiting off you being mentally bombarded with never ending sales pitches from developers goading you into downloading their app with false videos of their games, but it will likely be hidden marginally better..Version: 1.3.8

I understand the need, but you get a five or ten second clip followed by a 30 to 40 second, or more, ad. Aside from the boss battles, I spend at most 10 seconds on a battle. ✓ Fun game but too many ads that don’t countI like the game, and it is fun. I don’t even mind watching the ads…until an ad pops up that has a timer that counts down from 5 in the corner. Any ad that has this will not count as an ad. It does not matter if you click on the X or the skip button that pops up right away, or if you watch the entire ad and then click. They simply do not count as you watching the ad at all. And it’s not once or twice and mixed in with other ads. Sometimes it will play one of these over and over and over. I’ve had it happen several times with at least 10 in a row, without it counting as watching an ad. My record is 17 times in a row, that I clicked “watch ad”, and had one of these 5 second countdown ads pop up, and no matter how long I watched, or how many times, have it count for nothing. Once you get a largish army, a large number of the units seem to just run left then right without moving forward for most of the battle. All i can do is replay it for a measly 6233 coins? Are you serious? You have plans on here for such and such amount of money per year but the game takes 2-3 months to beat and then theres no more variety or challenge at all? How about some procedurally generated levels that scale with the level of your army? How about a new game + where you start over and its much more challenging? ✓ Stuck Horribly on a Boss Battle - Scam GameLet me first say that this game is fairly fun. A good time waster if nothing else. However, I’ve been stuck on a boss battle for a long time (Battle of the Bulge Boss) and nothing I do will come even close to beating him. I’ve watched hundreds of ads during this game to get x3 cash and have been watching ads on the challenges to replay and get as many coins to get more cards and level up troops. I’ve even worked on offers to get gems to buy high level cards. Nothing works though as this boss one shots everything really quickly so it is impossible to beat him. ✓ Infinite AdsThis game is chock full of ads I like the game, but if most of the time spent playing is 80% ads what’s the point? I bought the no ads between levels pack, guess what? Every 5 levels there’s a random pop up ad that takes 35-45 seconds to load through, you can close the app and play the level again that’s really the only choice. I bought another item in the store, the store says if you buy something in the store there will no random pop up ads, guess what? It’s still random pop up ads. After about 20 minutes I notice them just lallygagging around in the back of the formation. I tried so many times to rearrange my formations to see if maybe the hit boxes were overlapping or something but they just don’t work. What’s more is sometimes my troops just walk around in the area of the enemy troops and then just leave. ✓ Good idea, good game, ads galoreThe game itself is fun, cool concept, but either watch the ads or fall behind. If you don’t watch the optional ads the game will force an ad on you after the battle. Best of all the ads will usually freeze and you’ll have to restart the app and if you wanted the rewards, you won’t get them. When you are in the ad trying to close it the “x” button is so small it’ll constantly bring you to the app store instead of close. I’m okay with optional ads or banner ads, but please don’t force them on us and don’t make it so hard and annoying to leave the ads. Cool game though.Version: 1.1.8
