✓ Must ReadIf I would’ve left a review when I first started using this app I would’ve given it a 5 star review l. Over time they started taking more and more time to send you an answer for your question( which is unacceptable when your computer timed out). If they send you a wrong answer that’s still a non refundable ticket. A lot of times it takes 40 mins to get 1 answer and if they don’t label the answer you’ll have to text them in the chat to label it( sometimes they don’t respond/ leaving you confused) and if they do respond that’s an additional hour) They don’t let to text prior to them sending the answer because otherwise I would include “Label Answer” when I send the question. ✓ Absolute Bullsh*t.I’ve been using this app for months and it’s been one of the best math apps I’ve ever used, even better than Photomath at times. Then the app was updated and now you need to watch adds and do a bunch of unnecessary bullsh*t to earn tickets to have the ability to search for an answer. The app always pressures you to pay some ridiculous amount to get more tickets instead of watching ads and doing weird quizzes. This isn’t even the worse part. I guess you can’t ask a tutor for help anymore without paying. I used to love this app but now the creators are getting greedy. Never using the app again unless something changes..Version: 1.39.0
✓ Scammed out of $10A few weeks ago, I found myself in need of a tutor's assistance for my homework. Since I was a pass holder, I logged onto the app and utilized all my tickets. To my surprise, an ad popped up, offering a summer student discount of $10 per week for tutor tickets. Intrigued, I decided to purchase it, expecting to receive the promised tutor tickets. Unfortunately, I never received them, despite my purchase. Frustrated by this experience, I attempted to seek help from the customer service bot, but found it to be unhelpful. As a result, I am now writing this review to share my disappointment and planning to cancel my subscription before being charged again. Was a good app but has alot of bugs, before you charge people fix them or you will be sued. The app also run ridiculously slow when a tutor is solving your answer you cant browse the app without going one frame per second. Ill recommend instead adding nonsense, work on the app itself..Version: 1.45.0
✓ Use to be good…It was a lot more simple back then you just started with thirty tickets each day (no stacking) but now it has stupid deals and is confusing… I tried to use it and ask a tutor but then it said “I don’t have enough tickets” I did all I could to get some tickets but still couldn’t ask for a tutor. It’s so frustrating since I use to be able to ask for a tutor no problem but now I don’t even understand how to use it. Unless if they change or fix it, I wouldn’t recommend. ✓ Used to be greatI used this app last year and it was really helpful. You used to be able to get help from tutors for free. Now you have to pay $30 a month. Or $60 and $180 upfront. That’s insane. How much money do you think the students that use your app have? Why start with everything free only to make things cost money? I think it’s fine how you have to watch ads to get search tickets. But why did you make question tickets only behind a paid subscription and with a limit? If you won’t change it to how it used to be at least could you make it where you can get question tickets with ads. Maybe multiple ads for 1 question ticket. ✓ Don’t recommendSo I had this app for a while and it worked great and answers were almost always correct however they changed things and now you need tickets to ask questions and ask tutors but they never give you tutor tickets no matter how many videos you watch. I used to be able to see the answer to my problem and see the step by step but now they won’t even show you your problem anymore. You scan your problem and they give you a different problem with like 1 of the same numbers and that’s it. This was a great app but since it’s been changed it honestly just don’t work..Version: 1.37.0
✓ Helped me for a whileOverall, I really enjoyed this app. I only say enjoyed because I sadly have to delete it. You have to pay to get more question tickets now instead of them regenerating daily. The daily regeneration helped me because my math class typically moves pretty fast, and I don’t understand my homework. I wanted an app that could help me see problems step by step, and not just basic algebra too. As of September 5th, you now have to buy your own tickets, and the price isn’t even worth it. $25 dollars just for 10 questions? I’m not willing to pay that much to get daily help with my homework that my parents can’t help me on. I’d like to see the regeneration back. It doesn’t have to be 20 tickets like it used to, it could be more like 5 tickets a day. Or watch an ad and get a ticket. I’m sorry but this app just won’t help me anymore..Version: 1.27.0
✓ Horrible updateThe new update is very disappointing I missed the old Air-math when you had automatically new tickets and was able yo take a picture and look for the answers and ask for a Tudor if you chants find it instead of the system itself trying to find the answer which is alway inaccurate. I was taking a test and was using Airmath when all of a sudden I ran out of tickets which never happened to me because I would always have 30 tickets each time , and I only did about 5 questions . Because of me running out of tickets I failed my Exam and might not graduate because of Airmath and their horrible updates lately . Please fix it like the olds days that’s the only reason why most of us used the app ..Version: 1.19.0
✓ Why do they keep making their app progressively worse?I used to absolutely LOVEEE this app. Like, my go-to when I needed math help. However, lately it’s been glitching out. A few days ago no matter how many ads I watched, I received no tickets, and now I checked today to see if they fixed that, which they did, but now you only get ONE ticket PER ad, and it doesn’t multiply in tickets received as you watch ads as it used to. I know that sounds stupid, but why would they literally remove a GOOD thing? It was convenient to get more as you watched more ads. I don’t understand why they keep limiting the free version of apps, at first it was Gauthmath, and unfortunately they’re probably doing that to Air Math too, making it not user friendly unless you’re paying for a subscription. Bring back the old system, and stop adding useless things, the app was perfect!.Version: 1.50.1
✓ The new update is trash !I wish this app would go back to how it was. I used to have a lot of tickets now I have bout any cause of the new update. How you have to pay money to get more tickets TOGET ANSWERS when you can just search google is crazy. I had this app like last year, and I’m now getting it back since school has started and I’m just confused. ✓ LoneliestTvGirlI usually don’t leave reviews but, here I go. This app USED to be the best! I used it back when I was in middle school, (I struggled a lot with math.) and this app helped me out so much. You would usually start off with 18 free tickets, submit a page & tutors would do it for you. Tutors were super helpful and responded within a few minutes/hours! But now, I’m deeply disappointed. I’m now in high school and was struggling a bit with homework when I thought about this app. I installed it and excepted the best, but it wasn’t. It’s not the same at all anymore! You now have to take surveys and purchase many things if you want tickets. (Keep in mind I am a broke high school student!!) I don’t understand why question tickets and search tickets are separated. ✓ Watching ads for ticketsThis app back when I first had it was great, the 30 free tutor tickets at first and the unlimited question searching was awesome, then it got ruined but yeah I understand the efforts by the tutors and the team and yk great service, I recently got back to it because I was once struggling with math and it was hard to get used to the new “upgrades” but there is something really bothering me right now, which is the ads to get tickets to search questions, at first it was pretty nice when the more ads you watched the more tickets you’d get, for example first video 1 ticket, second video 2 tickets, third video 3 tickets etc etc, and now is just 1 ticket pet ad which still is a bit tolerable but now that I’m trying to get my ticket it appears as if I’ve watched the video but I get no ticket so basically I’m watching 30 second ads repeatedly just for nothing. ✓ Needs an updateThe creators of you can please update this or read this review you need to fix the cropping for the pictures every time I try to take a picture I can’t make it bigger like the add showed I can only move it my question is long and I can’t crop it big enough which means I’m deleting the app also if you can idk if u can do this but the Tutors also take so long to answer most of the time if I understand there busy but if that’s the case you should use a bot to tutor instead(if u took the time to read this thank you).Version: 1.11.0
✓ Updates haven’t actually helped meHello! I think I downloaded this app maybe last school year and it worked so well. This year as I have advanced in math, some features previously provided have been discontinued :((( I tried using a new one offered— the quests. But I have homework to do! I can’t waste an hour of taking surveys for not even 2 question tickets! This app used to actually help me. No I have to reference through the search ones to even try to figure out a problem. ✓ Too many wrong answersI’ve paid 200 dollars for this app and the solutions provided by the tutors are wrong most of the time. Not only that, but it outright refuses to answer some questions stating “you need to upload all information regarding question” when the pictures show all information provided. I don’t know where or how these tutors are given positions on your app but maybe you need to find a new way to evaluate your members. It’s helpful whenever it’s helpful, but the time and money wasted was not worth it.Version: 1.37.0
✓ Not great, but could be betterI really hate leaving low reviews, but I think this is one of the unfortunate cases in which I must leave one. AirMath can be helpful sometimes, like when your problem has already been solved, but if it hasn’t, then you need to request the help of a tutor. You would think a response would take no time at all, but in most cases you have to wait hours, days, or even weeks for a tutor to answer your questions, and some aren’t answered at all. As someone whose math skills aren’t the best, I’ve been looking for an app to help me with my math homework, and this unfortunately has not been a good one. I hope that, in the future, this app will improve, but at the moment I am disappointed and will be deleting this in search of a better app. I will leave 2 stars because sometimes your question has been previously answered and you don’t need to ask for a tutor, and the whole app is free and relatively honest, but I am frustrated about how long it takes for a response from the tutors (it may not be their fault, but I was hoping it would be faster). ✓ Prices on plans, Question tickets etcI’m rating this app 1 star because it’s useless without having tickets for questions, and it’s super expensive to get tickets for questions like I don’t understand it 25 dollars for 10 tickets for questions? 10 tickets? that’s like one assignment literally, we should be able to receive free question tickets. the search tickets never desire similar to what you need to be answered either. this app was well rounded when I use to receive like 30 question tickets a day for free please give us a certain amount of question tickets a day and a lower price of plans.Version: 1.23.0
✓ They don’t always solve your questionsI think that if they fail to provide the correct answer you should be able to take your ticket back. Or you should be able to remove your request if you solved the problem on your own. They also NEVER answer when you message them that they got the answer wrong. I love this app but they need to fix some issues. Also they don’t always answer it write so I’d say about 30% of the time your on your own..Version: 1.23.0
✓ It’s okay but could use some workSo basically I downloaded this app because I needed help with my math homework and I saw an add of this so I was like “I’m going to download this app and hopefully understand math for once” so then I opened the app up and I took a picture and it was like what subject is this Algebra, Geometry etc and I’m like idk math? So I eventually just picked one and it didn’t show the picture I took but instead showed a different one so I clicked on it and it was similar to mine so I was like “ I’m just going to see the steps they do and follow it” and I did get the right answer so I was happy about that :) but I would like it if we could get more tickets in a day so 3 stars.Version: 1.49.7
✓ It’s okayIt’s alright I mean it’s not bad and as a matter of fact I use it all the times when I need help, however there’s still flaws when it comes to these apps especially when you take a screenshot of the problem then find out it’s not there and you have to ask tutors for it, which it’s not bad since most of the time they answer it right away but there will be a time where they just don’t answer at all and you later realize you wasted your ticket for nothing, it’s annoying.Version: 1.14.0
✓ Review is the appI think it’s a really great app! It helps me a lot with homework and I’m grateful for that! There are some minor issues though. This app is starting to be very slow it takes them 24 HOURS TO SOLVE A PROBLEM. Isn’t it AI the one answering problems? So it shouldn’t take that long. Second, sometimes I take a good shot and it’s not blurry at all and it still asks me for a retake shot. It’s very annoying. Finally, some of these tutors give the wrong answers. ✓ Ticket problemsI genuinely hate leaving bad reviews and the such, but recently once I opened the app I found out that I had lost all of my tickets that I had saved up, I lost them all!. And now that I’m trying to save them up and watching ads and logging in it doesn’t give me tickets, nothing pops up to say that I’ve got my ticket even when doing a quiz or anything I don’t get a ticket, it says that I’m watching the ads but it doesn’t give me tickets which makes me irritated I’ve tried to uninstall the app and uninstall, close and open nothing it doesn’t give me my tickets for some reason, and as a student that is still in high school this is really irritating and sad because I count on this app to learn as well but knowing that I lost my tickets and that it’s not giving me anymore after watching ads and logging in I don’t know what to do anymore.Version: 1.50.0
✓ Decent to disadvantageWhen I first started using this app it was great! I was able to ask multiple (30 to be exact) questions and get a better understanding of how to execute questions step by step. Recently I’ve noticed that I no longer get 30 questions a day but 5. It has slowed me down dramatically and has effected my learning because I can not take in various bits of information as efficiently. ✓ Was great before most recent updateHi, I've been using air math for about 2 months now, and it's been amazing and so helpful and efficient. However, about a week or so ago there was an update added that completely ruined the app. Now results only come up with one solution instead of being able to browse the options like before, and most times than not the answer they provide you with is wrong or a completely different question. In addition to that, the ticket option is no longer helpful because once you use a ticket to have a problem solved you can't even tap on the message to see the answer. ✓ If I could give this app 0 stars, I would. Young teen (11 years)This app started out all right. It was a great app that I could use to solve my order of operations problems back when I was in fifth grade. Back then, I really did not need this app that much. now, I came back to this app when I got advanced eighth grade pre-algebra, and now this app is ruined. I don’t know why you would have to pay $13 a month just to get 200 question tickets in this app. of course, every app starts out great, but then it gets ruined by in app purchases. When I am able to get free question tickets again, I will use this app again. Also, why do you need to be 13 to use this app? I don’t understand, so people who aren’t 13 and up can’t learn math? Especially since I’m one of the more advanced placement people and by the time I get to eighth grade I will be learning geometry. You could say that you could use Google or the Desmos calculator but it’s simply not the same as getting math from a real tutor. ✓ Used to be my favoriteThis app used to be my all time favorite , always being able to solve just about any issue you have. Now , your limited to searching and solving tickets. If you run out , it’s blocked beyond a pay-wall. You can no longer get solutions unless you pay for them. The searches are not always helpful either as they sometimes don’t pull up exactly what your looking for. 3/5 The app has its things and some errors, but it’s not bad , I just wish it wasn’t blocked behind a pay-wall now like all the others..Version: 1.24.0
✓ App went WAY down hillSo I have been using this app for over a year now, and it was truly a game changer. I used it for my homework almost every night. But over the summer, the app got a complete makeover and now it doesn’t even remember who I am. It asks me for my google or Apple log in whitch I did not have to do a year ago. Something that really ticked me off was that I used to have 20 tickets every day (or now referred as “question tickets” and just 10 of them coast 25$! I ALWAYS used to use the tutor because the AI would never be able to find the answer to my question. The thing that impressed me about this app is that there were small purchases around the app like a question refill or something. ✓ Errors too often, no free question ticketsI’ve been a loyal user of this app since last year, and this app actually saved me a lot in math last year, but it doesn’t work the same. I’ve been having a lot of trouble logging in, and it freezes too often as it says that there’s a network error, and my Wi-Fi is fine and I checked, I also tried to update my phone, which I did, and lastly, I uninstalled it and reinstalled it many times, and nothing works to unfreeze it which worries me a lot. Also, with the question tickets I’d wish you would at least give us 5 question tickets per day and maybe we can watch up to like 15 to 20 ads to get one because I used to have the free question tickets back then but now not anymore and I really can’t afford a subscription. So please fix the bugs because I really need this app alot to help save my grade. but overall, it’s a great app as last year the tutors were very kind and solve the problems effectively and correctly and I loved it. ✓ Took a downfallIve been using this app for a long time, and its only gotten worse and worse for the people who use the free version. most of the times students do not have money. they also wont have parents who are willing to pay for this subscription. not only all of my question tickets removed, but now recently all of my search tickets removed. like what? all of my saved tickets from months are completely gone. that is ridiculous. if there really is a need for profit, ads can be the way to go. theres no reason to make the app completely unusable. plus AI whom searches your picture could be better. and instead of only showing a small amount of results could show alot more. watch this app become completely unusable! that is absurd, and the amount of bugs is too. theres so many glitches, random ones that require constant closing of the app window, and re opening which is really annoying. hope this app gets better :/ used to be my favorite..Version: 1.27.0
✓ This app is terribleDo not download this app it's terrible and there are no good free options when the app first started out it was great. There was even daily refresh tickets. Now you have to buy them. And they only give you 2 question tickets and a couple more if you watch ads. The problem with this is when you use a question ticket you have to hope that someone who has payed previously asked the same question as you and its honestly a 1% chance. The developers are aware of this but have done nothing about it. This app was great at the beginning but now isn't. Photo math is better and has free options. ✓ It was a 5 star app before this update..You’re recent update fixed some things yea. But it also caused problems. A good thing about this update is that the app no longer saves the photos of the problems you need solved to your camera roll. But the answer system got completely nerfed. Instead of their being multiple answers to choose from, you only get one. And sometimes it’s not even the same problem. So you HAVE to ask a tutor for help. And don’t get me started on the tutors. It takes up to days, even weeks sometimes to get an answer. And sometimes they just close my problem so I don’t even get an answer. Overall a 5/5 app went to 3/5 because of one update. ✓ Was a Great App, Charges for EverythingI don’t know the other people that review, but I’m going to share my real thoughts. When I first downloaded the app, it was great and I could easily find the answer by just taking a picture and locating it. Right now, it’s not bad either, but for the most part you have to pay just to get an answer or to search for one. Although it does have a check in option to use more searches, it doesn’t actually work. Aside from that, I also cannot find some of the answers I’m looking for, and not to compare, but on Photomath, at least they don’t charge for almost anything possible..Version: 1.23.0
