✓ Hate it… here’s whyThey say you can upload any video. That’s not true and it’s not clear. I uploaded a clip from Star Wars. It kept getting rejected without a clear reason. They have Star Wars clips in the app but if you try to use any others it will fail. And despite me signing up for one time use when I went to delete my account it said you were on an automatic renewal. Unless you are using their videos or a homemade one you’re taking a risk that it will work..Version: 1.15.0
✓ Not workingHere’s the problem with these app and the iPhone App Store that stops vetting the scammers. As soon as you pay your annual subscription, it stops working in a couple of weeks. You think, okay, I get another one. As soon as you pay subscription, it’s not working again. Usually the person who sells the access to the app has five other apps lined up with the same functions. When you denied access to the first one, and forced to get another one FROM the same seller, you will lose either access or some functions you’re promised and will be asked to pay AGAIN. ✓ Doesn’t workIt worked when I first downloaded the app. When I uploaded anything, it the loading bar would go smoothly till 90%, stay there for 15 seconds or so, then upload. Next day comes and I try again. This time, it just gets stuck at 90%. And I’ve waited almost 10 extra minutes, and it would still be stuck there. Like that’s the only reason I bought this app! ✓ Unable to use some photosI’m not sure why but some of my photos are kicked out because the app can’t see them. I have no problem on any other reface apps with the same photos. Also, it would be nice to know ahead of time that there’s a limit to how many uploads you can do. I have the Pro edition. Also, the uploads that you don’t save are counted in the limited amount. I don’t think they should be unless you actually save them. Sone of them were distorted and some were kicked back as unable to detect a face, yet they still were counted in my alotted amount of uploads..Version: 1.11.1

✓ Don’t get if you’re not going to payThis app tries so hard to milk you of your money. When using the free version you can only create a set amount of swaps a day, any you create will have the watermark on them, and you can only choose from a few videos and photos. Why do we have to pay to do what the app is meant for? Why can’t we have unlimited amount of swaps with the free videos we’re given? This app already messes up any face I put on the videos AND fill the screens with their watermark. I’m not paying for mediocre face swapping..Version: 1.6.1

I paid for the month and was promised via email twice to be patient and it would be fixed. But now you have to pay for every video when your advertising says you can do 20 videos. I read your comments on others that you have costs but fix the monthly pricing plan to reflect that or explicitly state what you get and what you don’t. ✓ It's a money grabI don't know how this gets any good ratings from anyone. $10 to download the app. You can't do anything with it the app as it is. If you want to swap faces on a video you need to buy credits. So you buy $10 worth of credits. That will get you to swap faces on one video only. the quality of the face swap is terrible. Does it look anything like the face that you put on the video. It will also come and go as the video progresses so its just annoying. So you want to try another video? ✓ No trial periodI wanted to try to see if this app will work. Instead they want to charge $30 up front. I did it anyways and I’m not thrilled about it. Also they limit you on how many uploads you can do even though you just purchased their yearly subscription. They coerce into buying an additional $30 for below average quality. Most if not all other apps pretty much give you unlimited. As for the tech it was 50/50. Some videos worked great with some pics and others did not. It either was unaligned or the technology couldn’t mesh with side view faces which is disappointing. Fast head movement won’t work accurately. When it did work, the videos with the face forward was perfect. However most if not all videos do not have faces constantly looking at the camera. It’s not worth getting but if you want to try it…. Good luck. Update: so the developers wrote back and really didn’t resolve any issue. I tried it again and confirmed my issues with the app is still happening. I think instead of them charging too much for this program they should work on making their software better to justify the amount. ✓ Reality checkIt’s been a year. In that time they’ve reduced what you get for what you pay for. Have gotten worse about disguising what their actual business model is. Are now charging 70 dollars for a yearly sub. I think when I first subbed it was 50 or so and they even said you’d get 50 upload credits but not if they’d refresh monthly or not. You’d think in a years time they would at least sort that out. The overall quality doesn’t justify this price there other apps on the store that do it just as good or better for less. ✓ Expensive and false advertisingFirst of all, the face swaps are okay, though not as flawless as Reface - double chins a lot of times and doesn’t do well with blinking or extreme expressions. Worse, even if you buy pro it will sometimes tell you that you’ve done too many swaps and need to wait 15 minutes - that’s false advertising (pro says unlimited access to resources, unlimited face swaps). Swap even with their own videos often just gets stu k at 90% then says “swap failed”. Charging extra for uploads is exploitative and too expensive especially since a lot of uploads may just not work, but it already cost you and upload. ✓ Needs WorkThis is a good app for AI but has a lot of bugs. I haven’t had the best user experience with it. The AI is hit or miss. If you are uploading from a web source this app will not always find or display the photo from your camera roll. There is also the issue of saving your creation to your camera roll once it’s created. I’ve run into the issue lately where once you click save it displays as “saving…” and will work and work and never actually save the picture. Also, paying for videos. You’re already paying for a premium account….having to pay for videos is just not fair..Version: 1.11.1
