✓ WeTransferI use this app to upload my videos from my IPhone to send to myself. Superfast upload. I sent a ten gig video and it was done quickly. A must have app especially if you have the pro version. Can be used on any device. From your phone to your computer at home. ✓ UselessI can’t download anything to any of my devices. Thank God I didn’t get the yearly plam. I keep getting error messages saying oops something went wrong, but it never says wht actually is the reason why it won’t download. I’ve tried 3 different devices all with the same reply. ✓ Load of rubbishA friend sent me pictures via this method so I downloaded the app onto my iPad so I could see them. An hour later I’m still waiting for them, it still says they’re downloading. There’s not that many pictures for it to take that long. Plus I’ve no idea where they’ll go once they do finally download! ✓ Stole my money and it didn’t workI downloaded the app on 3.6.23 and purchased it. Thankfully I only did month to month, something told me to. It kept telling me to verify my email but wouldn’t let me. The email sent wouldn’t work so I kept having send me new ones and those wouldn’t work. I even tried I’m web browser. I reached out to support and they were beyond unhelpful. Told me to verify my email ummm gee thanks and then in the second email they right away said if I want to give up they totally understand! They did not want to help me at all they didn’t even offer me a refund even though I wasn’t able to use the app not even once.Version: 1.8.6
✓ One significant issueI am considering purchasing your premium subscription but your upload and download speeds are just absolutely woeful. Just to clarify my internet connection is not the issue here as I have exceptionally good internet speeds. I’m looking to migrate from Dropbox to another platform and I was hoping to use WeTransfer due to your platform’s user friendly interface and the quality of your mobile app. The only thing preventing me from going ahead with purchasing the premium subscription is the fact that your transfer speeds are incredibly bad and reviews of the past 5 years comparing you to other platforms rate you as having consistently bad transfer speeds. ✓ A flawed app for iPhoneI love this app for transferring stuff from my iPhone with ease. It’s made things so much easier when I need to send a couple hundred images to someone. However, for some reason the app saves the transfer data into my iPhone’s “other” storage and it never expires even after the 7 day period has passed. As a result, with every transfer I send, the size of my “other” storage grows and deleting the app and reinstalling it does nothing to get rid of the cached data. The only way to delete this data is to reset my iPhone and restore it from a backup. Fortunately I chose an iPhone with a high storage capacity but it does get extremely annoying to have to reset my iPhone to clear this redundant WeTransfer data every so often. I’m at nearly 40 GB of lost space at the moment. Would really love to see this issue get fixed..Version: 1.7.9

✓ Always goes “Ops, failed”I have rarely had a fun experience with this service. After a complete 100% it goes “Failed”. I did not close the app, I did not do anything else. The app was open the entire time I kept tapping so my phone doesn’t sleep. Still yet the same outcome. I decided to give it a try just recently and noticed the new UI but still the same experience like years ago. I use the IPhone 12PM iOS15+. This should not be a problem in 2022..Version: 1.6.1

✓ Turned great service to trash with buggy appSeriously over the last few months the software writers have turned a great service to crap buggy app. Using latest version on iPhone and iPad, iPad at the minute fixed, iPhone broken AGAIN. Problem is that app hangs when trying to open photos folder or if using import from camera, app will take a photo but then hangs. Feels like a permission bug but who knows! Deleted and reinstalled app many times but no joy. Tried to use support through app but that too is full of bugs. ✓ Depends on the day….It’s my preferred transfer method. I typically send 2-4 minute videos downloaded to files in iOS or dropbox. I’m never sure which wetransfer will work, from the site or the app - usually the site is fine and the transfer is done in a decent amount of time. I rarely use the app and this might be why - it failed multiple times to load until finally it sent today but took 4 minutes.
