✓ Awesome but don't understand how to use itThis is obviously an awesome and powerful app, but I can't figure out how to use it. Really needs a simple mode of operation. For example, it would be nice if you could point your phone at a star in the sky and have the name of the star display on the screen. Or, if you could type in the name of a star such as Polaris, and then have your phone help you find it..Version: 1.8.0
✓ Not bad but not great.There doesn’t seem to be any information on how to use the app and the compass bearings don’t always show the correct direction. There’s an annoying background music track that’s supposed to portray outer space so I turn the sound off. As a newby observer, I find the free app has all I need to start with but to pay for more information isn’t going to happen until I know the hobby is going to last. The work that’s gone into producing the app is way beyond outstanding but using it at first requires a lot of patience and a fair bit of understanding. I’m still struggling with specific location and direction issues, but I’m determined to figure things out. Understanding the position of objects in space relative to the earth or sun is extremely interesting and challenging. There’s a lot more to observing celestial bodies than meets the eye (pun intended) and I’m sure this app will help eventually. Thank you for providing what you have for free..Version: 1.3.0
✓ Lifetime premium not available as statedThe in-app purchase section shows a Lifetime premium access purchase for £8.99 and for £4.99 Yet after downloading the app and trying g to purchase - only given option to purchase a £4.99 per year subscription or a monthly one. Lying to customers will only lose customers. App deleted from my phone. Stellarium will get my money now..Version: 1.8.0
✓ Almost rightGood app that’s been ruined by lengthy apps that you can’t skip and at times redirects you to the App Store. Nothing ruins a app more then this fatal flaw. I understand apps have to have ads but making someone sit through a minute long app and then funneling them to the App Store without a reason is just criminal in my perfect society..Version: 1.7.1
✓ Mixed reviewWhen I first downloaded the app I immediately got the free trial to see if it was worth it, loved it & worked perfect at first, then I paid 8.99 for a limited offer the app has instead of 1.00 usd a month. Stopped working as soon as I paid. Won’t let me track any stars in my location,only lets me check out info about each star and I have to manually look it up with the name of the star. ✓ Terrible appIt was recommended through astronomy sites to view the Comet C/2022 I paid for the upgrade and all I keep getting is adverts while trying to use the search screen. ✓ User ease of useI’ve had this for a while and I’ve lately been using it a lot. And still can’t figure the menu-tools. ✓ Too many adsThe app isn't bad but I deleted it after being bombarded with ads. I was willing to buy the lifetime version that is advertised on the App Store listing but that was not available in the app. I wrote the devs and apparently it is only randomly available.
