No Ambulette TransportationThis Hospital Health care Team are Horrible People worst care ever this Hospital was better when it was Saint Luke’s There’s no Empathy for Elderly sick Patients no Oxygen given to me through my whole stay in the Dirty Nasty Emergency Department with Wicked Nurses and wicked Charge Nurses. My daughter told the Doctor she was going to take me Home at 11:30 Am the Doctor said no that she Prefer I go in an Ambulette with Oxygen in the Meantime I was not getting any O2 in the ED.I waited 6 hours for an Ambulette to take me home my daughter called a few times the Social worker,The Charge Nurse The Green team the Registrars Representative in the ED everyone just didn’t care to help me get the Proper Transportation home they kept hanging up the Phone on my daughter every time she called to see the Status on my Ambulette . They put me away in a room with a wall I front of me Discharged me before getting me my Transportation horrible Place to be in I was feeling sick short of breath Headache and no one came to my Aide I would be ignored if I asked for help so I left around 5- 5:30 pm and Almost fainted Short of Breath, weak and with Chest Pain they didn’t care that I left that Dirty Emergency room by myself. I took Public Transportation to get home with no Oxygen and feeling very weak and sick almost got Struck by a Car very Bad Experience in that Mt Sinai Morningside ED full of Horrible Employees..Version: 10.4.2.1

Virtual VisitOverall the app is good for messaging your doctor and managing prescriptions and scheduling appointments. However, the virtual visit function is complicated and has not worked for me. After several attempts relating to two separate appointments I’ve resorted back to in-person, which is frustrating since the commute is pretty far away. Also, the pre-check is quirky and sometimes requires you to complete several times. That said, I always have a great experience with my physician’s and the issues with the app is not a deal breaker for me..Version: 9.9.2

Don’t botherPayment system is broken resulting in not being able to pay a co-pay further resulting in me having to cancel my virtual appointment. The cherry on top was the 30+ minute wait to speak to a human on the phone at the office just to be told I can’t pay a co-pay over the phone and to contact the app? This is one of the biggest health systems in one of the biggest cities. You can’t automate a system to the point where there’s no backup plan for inevitable bugs. But don’t worry! I got another automated appointment reminder for the appointment I had already canceled over the phone. I also apparently have zero options to opt out of text billing. It’s 2023 and you’re texting me a link to my bill as the ONLY option? No paper bill arrives, no email arrives, I just have to click some shady text and risk my identity getting stolen or get sent to collections? Taking my healthcare elsewhere..Version: 9.9.2

Not as reliableSince installing I no longer get the option to echeck in, or a text message asking to confirm. And yes, I have notifications set on. As well, in the Communication Preferences section there are options, bit no way to know if you are selecting or unselection. And under each option there’s a cryptic notation that looks very much like a programmer’s debug info. So now I get phone calls asking me to confirm, and it’s a reak]l nuisance. Support is obviously outsourced . Instead of answering the support person repeats the question back. No matter how many times you say the question, all you get is the question back..Version: 9.8.3

Mt. Sinai app is terribleMy surgeon, Dr. Camilo Correa is not even listed as one of my care givers. Therefore I’m unable to contact him through the portal. I also have a number of doctors at NYU Langone and have never had a problem getting in touch with any of my providers. Why is the Mt. Sinai app unavailable to give me access to my doctor. If anyone asks me I would say DO NOT use Mt. Sinai. The portal is a great thing when it works correctly. The Mt. Sinai portal does not fit the bill. Please fix it since I love my doctor but I HATE the My Mt. Sinai app..Version: 9.9.2

Lots of things work really wellThe app is great for communicating with my doctor. It’s so much faster than a telephone call. I cannot make an appointment though with the labs. There is nothing on there your app that would allow for this. When I call to make an appointment I go through six steps (Listen to apologies because Colvid has created such chaos, whatever yada yada and then finally start pushing buttons!) The phone rings 20 times and then it disconnects. I hope someday you get employees some bright eyed engineer who allow allow me to make an appointment with my lab online!.Version: 9.9.2

Consistently disappointingFirst I went to urgent care because I had eye infection. The doctor looked at it and diagnosed eczema despite my eye and cheek beneath it being swollen and oozing. Not one question asked about my eye and him giving me a referral to a dermatologist I finally convinced him that I had an eye infection and he prescribed oral an antibiotic drops. After he prescribed cream that the box clearly states should not be used on the face (the only place he identified dry skin). Fast forward saw primary care physician via telehealth sand she referred me to a wonderful ophthalmologist at eye and ear infirmary. Had a complete and extensive eye exam. Made an appointment to have a procedure to lance if it didn’t resolve. Two weeks later on the bus to have the procedure done by Dr Reddy and I get a call saying the procedure has to be cancelled 45 minutes prior with no real explanation other than Dr is not well. I guess it was sudden onset. His next available appointment is Feb 3. And we can’t have socialized medicine in this country because care would take too long to receive..Version: 9.8.3

Giving the same information to me many timesI do not need 5 reminders about my appointment. I even got 2 questions at 9:00 asking me if I had arrived at my Dr. appointment yet when it wasn’t until 9:45! I get these questions on my cell phone and email as well as asking me to fill out forms before arriving. I am in the computer for Mount Sinai and do not need to do any written check ins. All I do is say my name and give the receptionist my insurance cards. FIX YOUR PATIENT APP..Version: 10.6.4

Was good… now it’s crossing lines with privacyStarting today, the app won’t let me add appointments to my calendar unless I allow it full access to read my personal calendar! Add only no longer works. I hope they fix it because I can no longer quickly add appointments unless I use the website or add the times manually. Why would it need to read my entire personal calendar? Perhaps they should fix it like the airlines do… access to only the events they created so they can update times/details or add only. Full access seems like either lazy programming or something more suspicious. This is not because of my use of the app, as I’ve contacted support and was informed how it was an update to the software. They could not figure out how it would work on IOS unless privacy settings were reduced..Version: 10.4.2.1

Totally UselessThis totally useless app is on par with the totally useless Mt Sinai website, and the completely useless call center employees who answer the phone. You can’t ACTUALLY schedule a COVID 19 vaccine thru the app, the website, or by speaking to an employee. Designed by Big CorpRAT medical care and they don’t care if it does nothing to improve your standard of care. They have a fancy app! Woohoo! If your standard of care is circling the drain, the app is just gilding the very bloated corporate pig. ZERO STARS but that’s not possible..Version: 9.9.2

Ok when it worksI have been using this app since December 12,2022. It has worked sporadically until a week ago. The System seems to be undergoing major changes. There are still times when it stops working for no reason. Today the information is there. But because there is no explanation of the numbers in the text reports, I am unable to understand them. I would prefer to have an application that runs consistently and is more user friendly..Version: 9.9.2

Useful but poorly implementedEvery modern medical organization must have a good information and communication app. This app provides both information and a way to communicate. However, it is poorly created. Many of the pages do not open at all. Those that open half of the time do not load. When they don’t load you have to go back and try again. When they do open it rarely happens quickly, more often you will wait for 20 seconds or a minute. At that point you don’t know if you should wait or try again. There is a way to share your medications with Mount Sinai, however, you can’t just enter your information. You have to find your exact medication though search. When your medication is on the list you have to go through a long list of different quantities and types before finding your. But perhaps you should not worry about that since many of the medications or quantities are simply on the the list which you already waited a minute to load. Same goes for allergies. You can add them, but only if you find them in a list that’s poorly maintained. In conclusion. This is a needed app but the people who create and support it care little if the app is operational, is useful, will be used, or it is usable at all..Version: 9.9.2

SpamConstantly spamming me with hours/holiday information. This comes up as a “new message”, so you think it’s important to your medical care. No, it’s just a blast message about hours, and no way to respond to ask to stop being spammed. Not only does it get pushed to your phone, but you get a text message about the new message. And logging in isn’t easy. The app doesn’t save your password, so you have to re-enter your high security password every single time..Version: 10.4.2.1

Impossible to update out of date informationThere is no way on your app or via MyChart to let you know my primary doctor is not who you have listed, he is not there anymore, nor is my breast surgeon, my neurologist, etc. Only the radiologist who discovered my cancer us still there. Because of this the two other radiologists who interpreted my 2022 mammograms were denied payment by Medicare. Come January, my real referring physician should receive the report and your radiologists should get paid. I expect you to fix this. You have until January 23rd. C.Version: 10.4.2.1

Since I downloaded..Since I downloaded the app I have not been able to access any of the available information in my chart. The app tells me my test results, documents are ready yet every single time I try to view said information I receive an error message. It just says internal server error every time I try to view any information. Oh and I’ve tried to update my phone number 4x and for some reason it won’t save any chances that I make to my contact information. The old south Nassau chart website was so much better :(.Version: 10.4.2.1

Disrespect of Urgent care workersI went to MS Urgent Care at 638 Columbus ave, before going I signed on to my chart to use on my way at 6:53pm, I put the time 30 mins arrival. The Urgent care 638 time of closing is 8:30pm. I arrived at 7:27pm. I rung the bell and the lady at the front desk turned me away. She stated they wasn’t seeing anymore people, bc last patient is at 8:15, but I got there at 7:27, so why am I’m being turned away. So I left and then I went back to ask why, when I rung the door bell again the lady at the front desk heard the bell and saw me at the door so she got up and walked away ignoring me. There was another lady at the desk looked right at me and ignored the fact I was there. If I couldn’t be seen MS Urgent Care neeed to change their time. I was so disappointed and disrespected not only by going all the way there just to be turned away, also by the two ladies at the desk ignoring me. What good is to be able to book an appt and then put on my way if it’s not a good way to book an appt. That wasn’t right what the ladies that work there did to me..Version: 9.9.2
