✓ Very intricateThough at first glance it may just seem like a game where the faster you tap, the faster you go, the physics behind it are actually really fun. The running has a learning curve that is exciting to conquer, and the leaderboards are an attainable goal as the game is small enough to climb rankings easily. I paid the 99 cents to get rid of ads and add character customization and I think it’s worth it. Really fun and I’m spending way too much time on it. Really hope the devs add updates and flesh it out even more because this is honestly one of my favorite games on the App Store. 10/10 shoutout to TikTok too.Version: 1.0

✓ A lot of FunWhen it comes to passing time with games on my phone, I play this the most. I’m a track and field fan and I follow the sport pretty closely. It’s rare when a game comes along that really harnesses what makes the sport interesting. The level of detail that goes into the sprinting mechanics of this game truly surprised me. Starting off pretty clunky, I eventually got the hang of it and started improving my times. When it comes to running a race in real life, there are a few phases that happen. The start and drive phase, top speed phase, and the speed maintenance phase. I’m very impressed to see that this game simulates all of that extremely well. On top of that the physics engine makes every race slightly different depending on how you pace your taps on the screen, which affects the athletes stride length, frequency, and ground push. On top of that the game also has customization with different body types that affect your race attributes. There are only two attributes, power and endurance. Power being your explosiveness from the starting blocks and your ability to accelerate to a high top speed. Endurance on the other hand being the athletes ability to maintain a high top speed. The more power an athlete has the less endurance. The more endurance they have, the less powerful they will be. When it comes to the last 40 m of the 100 or the last 100 m of the 200, button mashing won’t get you anywhere. But just like in real life, The athlete that holds their form the best in a race decelerate‘s the slowest. In the game, you must tap the screen in a rhythm that keeps your athletes stride and frequency galloping you down the track. There’s a handful of other things that I could expand on but it’s better experienced. This game might look like your typical button masher, but it’s more of an athletics simulatior with attention to details in all the right areas..Version: 1.1

However, the graphics are very crude and the customization screen is difficult to maneuver and just straight up glitchy sometimes. The draw dropping experience this game has unleashed upon me has left an extraordinary impact on the fire that eternally burns inside me. From the moment I opened this game I was already extremely impressed by the beautiful graphics that I layer my eyes upon, the insurmountable detail on every edge of the carefully made assets implemented into the surface of each and every layer of polygons. Then after I chose from the eons spanning selection of languages to choose from I was expecting as such high quality as I’d already seen and it delivered. I was immediately put into my first blood pumping experience of a race, I struggled at first but I eventually picked up the pace. The feeling of it was unexplainable, I truly felt as if the fire inside me burned ever so brighter each lunge I took to complete the race. I felt as if I could do anything! And eventually I concluded my everlasting journey of a whopping 2 and a half minutes. Truly an amazing experience to go through and an inspiring journey to remember for years to come. When I’m on my death bed I will remember these great moments I’ve had. Wish I could go back in time and play this all over again 5 stars.Version: 1.0
