✓ Slowed down A LOT comparing when u first download itI never leave any comments on app reviews but this bugs me too much I kinda have to. I’ve been using this for a while now and it has been always great for me to use google and Netflix being living in mainland China. However, I’ve noticed since couple months ago I can only connect to vpn in Switzerland and couldn’t with any other. It wasn’t a big deal for me at first, but I couldn’t help but notice that even if I could only connect to vpn in Switzerland the speed has slowed down a lot comparing when I first downloaded this app. I don’t know if it’s bc I’m in mainland China region or whatever, I hope by reporting this could let the developers get into it and fix this. Wouldn’t want a great app to go to waste like this.Version: 7.6
✓ Works great but theres a fairly large flawHello! i use a Iphone 6s and the connectivity is great, it works fairly fast and doesn’t disconnect too often plus its only a few minutes of ads for 24 free hours of coverage. HOWEVER on Iphone 6s theres a issue where i cannot see the remaining connectivity time, this isnt the biggest deal in the world but its definitely a inconvenience.Version: 6.8

I download it today and tried to watch ads sequentially, as the application’s little instruction window showed, and regardless of how many ads I watched, the granted time was passing but there was no promos of connection. I changed the servers several times but it didn’t make any difference. ✓ Can’t useSo I downloaded the app. Upon opening it said that I’d have to watch 4 videos for a full 24hrs VPN...no problem bring it on. Attempted 3x and all 3x it gets stuck on the first ad. I’m not sure if you have to download every app for every ad to get past it but I’m not downloading 4 new apps a day. ✓ FrustratingThis vpn is not bad, it does what it’s supposed ti do and it’s free. I see a lot of reviews saying that you have to pay for it and it’s not free but what they do not realise is that there us an x button to go out of it when the free trial page comes up wanting you to buy it. It doesn’t show up for a little while because it wants you to think that you have to pay for it or you don’t just press the X button and then you can go out of it and connect. A lot of the time it doesn’t connect or takes a very long time to connect which is very frustrating. I used it last year in china and it worked really well, it hasn’t been connecting at all this year and it’s pretty annoying so i switched to a different free von and now it doesn’t work either so it’s a real shame. i’m sure thus app will still work for many other people tho..Version: 8.6

✓ Always an issue with FinlandPlease can you find new servers for Finland. There is always an issue connecting and that’s the main one I use. I have to try at least -5-10 times to try and connect Otherwise it’s a 10/10 app When issues fixed with Finland 5 star.Version: 9.1
✓ Interference with Chinese Health Kit AppDownloaded this App yesterday, as far as gaining access beyond the China firewall it does what it claims (currently Express VPN and VPN Cat blocked) however, I noticed that it interfered with my Wi-Fi (switched to mobile data and had to restart phone to reconnect Wi-Fi). For me the “fatal flaw” is that it interferes with the Beijing Health Kit App. The health kit app will not work with many other VPN’s while VPN is connected but if you disconnect the VPN the health kit functions normally again. With “Free VPN” even after closing App the health kit requires a new login (photograph ID etc), even restarting phone does not solve this issue. This is a real shame as Free VPN works really well and is genuinely free if you “watch” 3 minutes of advertisements each days. If it was not for the glitch I would give this 5 stars.Version: 7.5

Stated before was my old review now with a recent update ads will not be shown consistently and it took me 10mins to get only half an hour of vpn this app has become terrible. ✓ Bug still not fixedDEVS PLEASE READ: I previously gave Free VPN a glowing review, I used to use this app all the time with minimal issues. However a problem popped up on the app a while ago which makes the free version virtually unusable. The bug is that whenever I go to close an ad after watching it, clicking the X does absolutely nothing! There’s no way to close the ad, It just stays on the screen until I close the whole app, and of course it doesn’t register that I watched an ad when I reopen the app! This issue used to happen just with some ads but now happens with the majority of ads. It has been several months and this has still not been resolved. This problem needs to be fixed ASAP. After being connected for a log period of time, sometimes the VPN will need to be toggled off and back on again to work. 2. ✓ Crashed exposing ip address, scam advertsYou get a tiny VPN symbol in your browser, good luck noticing when the tiny symbol vanishes because the VPN stopped working leaving you connected to the internet exposing your IP address. You watch adverts to gain free VPN minutes which is fair enough but one of the ios game adverts I saw had a fake celebrity endorsement video. So beware of the scam adverts they are playing. Small number of VPN servers available and no way to try a different IP address in a specific location, most of the servers had been detected and blocked by the site I was trying to access... The site I was using appeared to get the geolocation from the VPN server as expected, except the last time I used it! The site I was using thought I was in the Uk when I was using a German VPN server... VPN apps crashing leaving you connected to the internet seems to be a common problem on ios so the only safe option is to not use them. That means getting a proper VPN solution and a router you can run it on instead of these apps which disconnect from the vpn servers..Version: 9.0

✓ Fine at firstThe app was great at first. I could read the webtoons I wanted that weren’t always available on the their app or read new manga chapters without worry. The reason why the rating is low is now after using the app for about 2 months the adds won’t load to fit the screen anymore. So when I try to hit the x to start the next add I can’t as it’s off screen where I can’t click or even see it. I tried redownloading the app and even restarting the phone and it still won’t load the adds correctly.
