✓ This was a great app… now it’s notWhen i used this app earlier in the year I wasn’t sure what to expect. My friend referred me to it and it became a therapeutic tool that I used daily to converse with people of all backgrounds and talk about topics of passion and wisdom for the day to inspire people. As of two weeks ago I left the app because of its new policies I disagreed with them. While I understood logically why they were set in place I no longer had the ability to convey what was on my mind like I did before because “live” streams were now only for “the elite” who had the most followers. I had a significant following of 300 followers but apparently that wasn’t enough. So while I enjoyed my time there I have left for AMP because I can continue to speak live without restrictions reserved for “The Elite”. I would ask the management who rub the app to reconsider their policies but my wisdom doesn’t matter so I’m sure I’m just one voice expressing discouraged understanding that will go unnoticed. ✓ HORRID!Let’s be real: The app auto-launches into an ongoing talk. Assuming it’s based on my topics. Once it starts, there is NO WAY TO STOP IT without powering off my phone! Also, no way to search for a provider without searching through all of the providers. No way to see upcoming talks. When I indicate I would like to talk, the process of connecting is not intuitive. I am no newbie to platforms like this. This is the worst! I keep looking for some sort of basic user guide, but only get marketing stuff. I see the potential, and possible revenue stream. ✓ DisappointedThe app itself is great. The problem is they keep changing the requirements to give like talks. I worked hard to get verified to be able to go live and all of a sudden they changed the requirements and I wasn’t eligible anymore. They became more invasive by asking to verify for live talk status by connecting to other social media platforms and then right after, they changed their name. I’m giving it one more chance before I just delete my profile. Will one person leaving make a difference? Not for them, but it will for me. I just hope I can find an equivalent that isn’t so arbitrary and invasive. I had over 1k followers, a lot of likes on my responses and a reasonable amount of people listening to my live talks. ✓ UmmFor the categories I’ve selected I’ve found about ten different people who offer “wisdom” on here. Not dissing them by any means but there’s almost no content to chose from. I looked into art and there was a recording about coffee and talking. In my opinion that’s not art unless you’re making said coffee and sharing tips about techniques. Maybe you’ll get more then what I’m seeing but so far it’s a massive let down based on how many stars this is rated overall..NewEraOfCorruptionVersion: 1.4.0

✓ Devoid of Real ContentAlmost every live show I looked at was empty. It was impossible to find any good content. I also disagree with the “vibe with your tribe thing”. The reason social media has become toxic is because people build echo chambers of like minded people that perpetuate their own beliefs instead of being challenged by other opinions. To have true growth you shouldn’t vibe with your tribe. You should find people counter to your opinion, have civil conversations and learn from each other. ✓ Acquisition changed how I feel about the app entirelyAcquisition changed how I feel about the app entirely. The colors of the app are now darker and make for a less than enthusiastic UX or user experience. I also have noticed that many of the features have changed and I especially don’t like the fact that my ambassador badge was taken away after the acquisition or merger. I understand that Wisdom as a company is excited about the merger and the changes to come but no warning of a merger or acquisition was mentioned and in a world where we are sharing our most important thoughts and wisdom id like to say, Wisdom you could have done a better job communicating as this is an app and service dedicated to communication. Also for those of us who lost our ambassador badges I think we need a sound reason as to why this happened and what will be done about it. At this moment I am thinking about leaving the app for more transparent companies that get my intellectual property for free..Bmj87!Version: 4.0

✓ Very disappointedThis app is very controlling and acts like I am violating and I haven’t I am a producer and I promote my own music and they act like I did something wrong and I didn’t!!! And they keep shutting my livestream with no real reason smh!! It’s not my fault people don’t interact and I cannot make them do that !!! ✓ Poor support, incentivize quantity over qualityI joined from the very beginning as a top mentor. I produced over 30 talks of approximately 30 mins each. Due to some software glitch I was not able to download my own content and support couldn’t help me and eventually stopped responding to my requests to access my own created content (which I want to use). One of my last talks was ended in the middle for “violating community guidelines” but they would not tell me why. I was talking about empathy - it was a positive message. I can’t imagine what violated the guideline. That was the last straw and I’ll take my content elsewhere… except I can’t because they won’t allow me to download it. Also, the incentive is skewed towards producing LONG content (multiple hours) rather than quality content. The longer it is the more chance people will find it and listen for some amount of time. Some people just play music to make it longer. I produce quality, insightful and useful content. So this is not the platform for me. ✓ Misleading-spamBegan receiving spam mail from a market representative from this company asking me to claim my podcast on their platform. They claimed they are very “selective” on who they want on their platform. The following week I was offered $25 to do a video review on their platform of their platform. After research I declined. Our podcast is a Christian-Bible based podcast and have thousands of listeners on our other platforms but this company isn’t advertised as a podcast platform nor has a religious/spiritual affiliation topic to identify our podcast as and is very limited. This platform seems to cater to an “advise” based platform and feels more like a chat room. Until this platform opens there base, provides more options, has a better podcast support system we will not be using for our podcast.
