✓ It’s good and funI’m really enjoying this game but I do have two complaints. Firstly, the amount of coins you gain after each level should go up instead of staying on 300, it’s really tiring going through like 2-3 levels just to get the right amount of coins to complete a task. Also, there aren’t enough moves in each level, it’s annoying to constantly watch ads to get the special items and/or get extra moves to complete the level. I do enjoy the game but these two problems end up ruining the game for me a little bit..Version: 1.7.6

✓ Ads are long and painfulThis game is brutal. As you advance things get more and more expensive - you have to play 3/4 levels to afford 1 makeover step. ✓ Sexist, gross, and a bad messageThis game is a horrendous knockoff of Project Makeover that I can’t believe exists. The target audience is obviously young girls (content age is 9+) and it’s conveying horrible messages. Messages about how all they should care about is the male gaze. All of these are about “ shaving legs” and “putting on lipstick” to impress some guy you met at a bar that calls you sexy. If girls want to modify their appearances, that absolutely ok and wonderful, but they shouldn’t be taught to do it to impress men. It belittles women and makes it look like all they care about is impressing men and trying to get a boyfriend. While society already engrains this into girl’s brains, we don’t need mobile games doing it too. I’m Girls are downloading this game, playing to make their characters impress men, and having sexist and heteronormative ideologies subconsciously told to them. There are no female love interests. ✓ Too expensiveI downloaded this game just to use it as another pass time, and knocked through about 30 levels in one day, and at the start I was very invested in the game and enjoyed playing a lot. But now everything is getting way to expensive, I’d expect this when your on level 50 at LEAST, for the tasks to go from al l the Make-up being together to Hebung to put on foundation, blush, eye makeup, and everything else on separately. And the reason I’d assume this would be normal at a jochtet level is because I though you would be getting more coins, but it stays at 300 no matter how hard the level is. I’m already startling to loose interest after just two days of playing, so my only complaint is that you should get more coins the harder the level gets..Version: 2.2.6

I’ve counted 2-3 times now where characters are accidentally saying other characters lines (Ex: a man talking to Zahra says “I’m Zahra.” and then Zahra says the same back.) - Gems are completely useless even though theyre supposed to be the special currency of the game. I have stock piled so many that I would never pay them for them or watch extra ads for them, which I presume is what the developers would like me to do. If more offers were made for coins I’d gladly take those, coins are much more often used. - I dunno if its just me but some of the ads they play inbetween games just freeze, forcing me to restart the app..Version: 2.1.3

✓ Fun, but a little disappointingI played this game to have fun, which I have had fun, but I sometimes get frustrated with spending because sometimes I’ll finish a task, but have to play yet another game to get more coins. Also, some levels are way too hard which with me, ends up watching quite a few ads to get boosters and beat the levels. I believe that one cause of this is too few moves. This is a great game but if you’re looking into downloading this app, and you want a game to enjoy without having a little stress, honestly in my mind, this isn’t the game you should download. The gameplay is smooth (hence the extra star) but the game itself teaches people to mistrust others and feel the need to be overprotective to “keep a man around” and stop him from being stolen by other females. You should NOT allow your child to download this game. I was enjoying the game until I noticed the underlying message with the makeup, the adds, the cheating, the *slam the door in his face* option, and importantly the comments on bodies and sexualizing women. Also, why is every character straight? I have yet to see an LGBTQ+ character or someone of color or different race. This doesn’t sit right with me. ✓ This gameI’ll be honest when I first started this game I thought it was going to be fun but when you start playing the actual game you realize how unfair it seems like come on now 22 moves to clear 108 Boxes and all the boxes are at the bottom and all your moves would be at the top nowhere near the boxes and when you finally get to the bottom you have no more moves…but when you actually pass the level you have to pay 600 to take a shower or to wash the avatar face and 400 to apply foundation which was completely ridiculous.Version: 2.6.6
✓ Age rating is not correct!!My daughter asked to get this game and of course I said yes because the age rating was nine and up, but as she began to play she was reading very inappropriate dialogue out loud in front of me and my husband. Then all of a sudden pricing goes up, but you get less and less.. $400 coins to take off your outfit or $400 to wash off makeup every little thing is a $400-$600 coin charge and you get $300 coins from each game you complete,but the price of a whole outfit is $3,000+. $400 coins for face mask $400 coins now for eyeshadow, $600 for blush, $600 lipstick, $600 each necklace, bracelet, earrings, or purse It’s getting ridiculous. “Dinner date” second stage/story and its a $400-$600 for the view..another $400-$600 for type of plates or roses and then the story ends very quickly the conversation is just a few sentences so it’s not worth it. I thought let’s try paying and see how far that takes me.. I paid $7.99 for $10,000 coins that barely did anything at all spent most of it taking off outfit from before stage preparing for next outfit washing hair, taking off makeup, washing face, applying a face mask and now to apply foundation? You can force close the game during cut scenes and choose the completely different option and the cut scene doesn’t change at all. The dialogue remain the same. Having to play upwards of 5-6 games to get to the next cut scene is a slog. Then you get a 300 gold reward to finish a scene, only to spend 300 gold to start the next one. What’s the point in that? ✓ It HAD Potential…When I started playing I really loved it! Your helping the characters get all and dressed but, But everything cost so many coins as you move up in levels. When you get to level 10 for the matching game you have to get “100” of each of the 3 items (skirt, bag, and shoe). Like really? That’s a bit excessive especially since the power ups are 900 gems and up and you don’t even get that many when completing challenges. This makes it dang near impossible to beat for me. ✓ DisappointedI got really invested into the game story line between Jane and Alex and was eager to see its development. I didn’t mind watching hundreds of commercials to be able to go through the levels, but after days of playing the ending of their story was so lame and such a drop that I almost cried. That’s how disappointed I was. It just dropped basically and we move on to next story. Making their ending looking like a very toxic relationship, when they started off as a very good loving couple. I tried exiting out but it keeps happening. It also takes way too many in game coins to progress the game but the rewards at the end of the levels stays the same. But between the game freezing in the same loop over and over to where I couldn’t even try to move any pieces and having to play 2-3 levels for each task… yeah, I’m deleting it and not coming back. Then the higher levels only give you 18 moves to get rid of 40 pink 40 blue and there is a bunch of boxes in the way. Or another level was like 30 chains 40 boxes and a color like how in 18 moves. They don’t force you to watch ads but in a way they do because you can’t beat the level without watching it. Also in any other match 3 game if you match and get a bomb and move the bomb and match 5 to get a color wheel that’s how it is this game you loose the match all together because it just explodes. Lastly in the bubbles in other games if you match 2 next to a bubble with the same color it counts as a match nope not in this game you have to match next to the bubble pop it then you can use this color. It's also showing 3 or more pieces that are identical instead of them going away like they should. I could actually win a level if I could move more than 1/2 of the board. ✓ GlitchyI have lost so many perks from glitches and right now I’m on level 583 and there is a glitch that the shoe boxes disappear instead of producing shoes like they are supposed to, so there is literally no way I can beat the level and finish the story. ✓ ConcerningI found an ad for this on TikTok and decided to download it for. I played it for a few days then I stopped opening the app for a week. I have a bad habit of letting my notifications pile up and not deleting them. One day I was going through all the notifications and I noticed the ones from the app. The notifications would say “_____ sent you a message”. The names were all names of people from my contacts. I had my friends and brothers names in the notifications and their names aren’t common English names. They were Arab/Muslim names. I just found this odd and was wondering if anyone else experienced the same thing. I also don’t recall getting apps access to contacts or anything like that.Version: 2.1.0

But this game… is SO BAD .when you start the game you see a woman and man half naked flirting with eachother! I’m only tEN I only downloaded this bc it said 9+ so I thought it would be cool but NO! And I was saying to myself while playing this “this girl would look pretty without makeup but I HAD to put makeup according to the game. And there is this guy named Alex and he called the girl hot and innocent! Like wth! I know some people don’t have a problem with this but yea. ✓ Good game but..You have to watch more ads than you actually get to play. They make it so it’s impossible to pass a level without watching an ad for more moves, and they give you like 10 moves to pass an impossible level that would take at least 50. So , although it’s a positive that you have the option to watch ads to continue playing instead of being forced to buy coins or whatever, you’re gonna spend a lot more time watching them than actually playing. Give more moves per level and I’ll consider keeping the game..Version: 2.1.3

✓ Got boring quicklySo yeah, a makeover match 3 game. You’ve played them before and probably better ones than this. It got to be a boring grind about halfway through the 2nd makeover character (stay at home mom). This was because the level hardness went from nonexistent to extreme very quickly, with all levels requiring multiple power ups to complete. In addition the tasks required more than one level to get enough gold to complete. So a game should have balance, hard enough to keep you watching ads/buying occasional power ups but not so hard you can’t progress and lose interest. This game is in the later group for me. As a plus, there are no wrong choices for tasks. Unlike the way it’s advertised, no matter what you pick your character will say ‘my skin feels great’ or ‘this dress looks so pretty’ and you will get the desired story result. Some people didn’t care for having to buy certain outfits so early in the game, but you buy those with gems and it’s easier to get gems than coins in this game. So if you want a repetitive match 3 game with a lot of ads (not a knock- all games have a ton of ads) where your choices have no impact and you can’t progress past the 2nd character due to gameplay balance, well this is for you. I personally didn’t care for it..Version: 2.0.6

It also shuts down while playing and does not keep proper track of your money or gems. I was really excited to play this game but have been nothing but disappointed. ✓ Not impressedI wrote the developers an email a week ago and have still haven’t heard back. The bugs I’ve come across include repeating the same steps over and over without increasing levels. I had even purchased a pack for it and ended up wasting my money and I installed it. I decided to reinstall to see if I would be able to use the items I purchased and nope.
