Decent, but lacks widgetsThe app is perfectly serviceable - but the one notable missing thing is there’s no widgets, which means I can’t put it in a widget stack with my other news sources, very frustratingly..Version: 1.0.2

Exciting AdventuresWell done guys, great fun. If you haven’t seen or heard or read anything about Misadventure Adventures time to join the M A.Version: 1.0.7

RayI truly like Ray’s articles. They are all good and it is basically what many are thinking. He just thinks out loud to all. He is telling the truth in articles of his and boldly. Most of his articles will make a person stop and think to re-evaluate to encourage us to dig deeper for ourselves to find out the truth in a world full of liars. Some of his articles there is some humor. I don’t like to be lied to and once I find someone has written an article based on untruths I cut them off and NEVER look at another one of their articles again. I don’t like to waste time reading falsehoods. Rays articles a good and well rounded..Version: 1.2.15

User friendlyI am a boomer and Substack is so intuitive I actually got it set up without getting tech frustrated. Miraculous..Version: 2.0.11

New To AppBy subscribing this morning it has opened up a whole another world of creative information. Thank you to contributors..Version: 1.3.4

Sean PlunkettI used to hear Sean on Radio live and disagreed with most of what he said and detested some of it. I sent a txt one day to voice my disapproval of something he said and the next thing I’m being accused of being a racist on air. (It was nothing to do with race) I like the stuff from you that I’ve read so far and to hear you have the same disregard for Sean Plunkett! That prompted me to immediately pay the subscription..Version: 1.2.0

TruthThank you, Mitch for truthful and detailed information.Version: 1.3.4

The KakaReally love Bernard Hickey and his intelligent in depth analysis of the economy and NZ and international political situation. His Thursday Hoon is particularly good with a very cordial witty and serious interchange with experts on their field and excellent analysis. The Dawn Chorus each day is addictive and educational so much better than main stream political discourse. 10 plus stars for me. Sigrid Campbell.Version: 2.0.12

LinksA good app! But finding whenever I receive the Substack Reads emails and go to click to read one the articles, it sends me to Safari then when I go to click open in app, it sends me to the App Store, which is annoying..Version: 1.3.1

Voice for frontline doctors!Great site for voicing not only your opinion but the perspective of a patient view which don’t have or understand. This is the stance I have taken. To be voice for the doctors who have fought for their patients. The frontline doctors. My heart goes out to you. Keep fighting for patients like me with life long dependence on your care due to Congential heart defects. I will be your voice. I will send your needs to the representatives who need to do the work necessary to give you the help you need. Restore all that’s been taken from you for your fight for the gift of LIFE! Bless you all!.Version: 2.0.0

The depth and context we needSocial media is cooked! Substack gives context, nuance and insight like we haven’t seen on Social media.Version: 2.0.0

I don’t want to be in my inbox. This app is perfect.I subscribe to a dozen or more Substack newsletters. I’m also one of those people who has a fraught relationship with their e-mail inbox. I don’t want to spend more time in my inbox(es)! This app is delicious nectar from heaven. It just works. My newsletters show up. The reading experience is smooth. The app is quick. And I don’t have to be distracted by the wayward work email or wild email promo when trying to catch up on reading. The inbox reminds me of the good old days of social media. I subscribe to certain creators and what they published is served up to me in chronological order!!! Thanks for building this. Excited to see what comes next..Version: 1.0

A great read !Doomberg shares real and reliable information with readers and subscribers. Most arrivals include factual data based information that is referenced for the purposes of the conversation. We love the way they never shy away from taking pot shots at those who need a little bit of a slap..Version: 1.1.6

Nothing sub About itI remember saving babysitting money for the release date of Stephen King’s latest. The anticipation building on the drive to the mall. The moment of panic when I saw the size of the crowd at B. Dalton. What if they were sold out already?! The immense relief when I got my hands on it. How I would try to read slower and slower as I got closer to the end. Rationing out every last bit because I didn’t know how long it would be until more was coming. How cool would it have been to be able to read new stuff almost as soon as the thoughts crossed his mind? To be able to tell him that I cherished every sentence? How much sooner would I have started writing, if I had not only him but other writers to learn from and share dreams with? So very grateful for this opportunity and the platform that has provided it!!.Version: 1.3.5

Back to basics text and imagesI downloaded Substack to read something a podcaster I follow had written. He often plugs “check out my Substack, buy a mug and buy the Trivium”. This place feels like the application that a sensible centrist (like myself) should read on. No gaudy or flashy advertisements and hyperbolic ‘influencers’ jumping to hot news conclusions. I’ll probably stick around. Maybe even re learn how to structure sentences and use correct grammar again..Version: 1.3.0

Great effort✔️✔️✔️✔️✔️Wow! Well done Geoff. I believe you are spot on..Version: 2.0.3

Refreshingly simpleI’m quite new to Substack but enjoy its simplicity and clarity. All the features you need are here: the stories, the ability to message, the facility to upload images, write notes etc but no annoying distractions. I’m even inspired to start a story myself! (Maybe.) Thank you..Version: 1.3.1

Real newsIt’s great to read news that is factual. Not driven by Rupert Murdoch’s opinions. Not automatically spouting the lies that people so often want to hear because it fits their narrative of blame and side-taking. A friend, who regards herself as political, asks why I follow US news. Because it greatly affects us ALL. Trump had a massive effect on rise of the European right wing. Weather we like it or not, we are all influenced by US policies..Version: 2.0.5

A rare beacon in the world gone madA rare beacon in todays world: aware and steeped in philosophical truth and wisdom of the ages, much like America’s Founding Fathers, combined with many insights from times since; politically and ruling elite irreverent, read and thoroughly appreciated for over 20 years now. As I am now residing in Córdoba, Argentina with one of my brothers, away from the insanity of the “developed” economies of the northern hemisphere, one of my longest desires is to visit him on his ranch, drink some good wine and engage in a meaningful conversation, maybe lasting for days I hope Bill, that you will grant me that wish when you return to Argentina, as I am earnest in that wish, and I hold that in my mind during this Thanksgiving 2022. Ad thanks for being you! A common and humble man, follower and subscriber of B.P.R, and numerous Agora publications since 2001. John Gudgeon.Version: 1.2.4

No more social media, only SubstackSo grateful that I have discovered Substack and a community of writers who support one another. Ever since I’ve been on it, both as a writer and reader, I’ve been feeding my mind (and soul) with quality, thought-provoking writing first thing in the morning. It’s been such a relief to be off social media and find a community where respectful conversation is still possible. I have been recommending Substack to everyone I know!.Version: 2.0.8

Truth platformThis platform should be mainstreamed, as the majority of people need to know this truthful information..Version: 2.0.7

Fantastic platform with great content!I love the variety, depth and quality of the writing and I applaud the Substack founders’ commitment to free speech and to not manipulating readers’ choices. It is my favourite platform for great content you simply can’t get anywhere else, because the MSM treats news as entertainment and has been completely corrupted by governments, its sponsors and its shareholders into being a propaganda or public relations machine for those vested interests..Version: 1.1.6

Variety WinsThe sheer variety of topics, the quality of the thinking, the superb writing…if at a loose end for a millisecond, open up The Substack and lose yourself in a written digression with a friend or colleague..Version: 1.3.4

Great format, plenty of suggestionsLove the app and content. Could help to have a search function within authors/articles. Also a bookmarks/notes function to save favorite articles under certain subjects. Open link in new browser window. Keep up the good work- you’re in the right track. Don’t get captured!.Version: 1.0.5

Incredible Platform and AppThis is a conscious app - for writers, and for readers. A brilliant antidote to the toxicity of social media legacy apps! Definitely a win for me. Highly recommend!.Version: 2.0.0

Alternative PerspectivesThanks for presenting a more nuanced understanding of the conflict in Gaza. I am filled with a loathing for Netanyahu and his administration, for the Israeli settlements in the West Bank, the dehumanization of Israeli Arabs but mostly for the horrific treatment of the Palestinians. I don’t want to blame one people over another, that will not lead to a settlement but something has to be done, some reason has to prevail I wonder sometimes in my darker more cynical moments how many Palestinians lives = one Israeli life An eye for an eye or 2, maybe 3, 5 children and 1 pregnant woman = 1 Israeli child? I apologize for this dark interpretation, this is a sad sad moment in our bloody human history.Version: 2.0.6

Substack a return to investigative journalismThe mainstream media is biased and extreme in both conservative and progressive world views. But their biggest failing is what they don’t report on or intentionally leave out. Often their stories are accurate but irrelevant because they simply edit out or ignore anything that contradicts their world view. The Substack media platform, with its full range of publishing tools has given a voice to real investigative journalists, advocates of category subjects (energy, environment, finance, sports, travel, health and more), and invited the readers to participate in much needed social debates. Substack is emblematic of freedom. That’s why I subscribe and follow the producers on Substack. Still, never stop using your critical thinking skills..Version: 2.0.7

Truth in reportingReliable, up to date and honest articles..Version: 1.3.7

Michael Moore on Fox News announcementWas very informative!.Version: 1.2.15

Best news availableI find this is now my go to for news and current events. Mainstream media is now obviously compromised, paid for and unwatchable for anyone with an ounce of knowledge. It’s all single narrative, agenda driven nonsense. Journalism as we knew it is dead, this is the answer! What’s best about Substack is you can form a trust circle with independent journalists who you can confirm have been correct on a range of issues and report with unbiased content and sources. So far I’ve found no issues with censorship etc. Love it!.Version: 1.0.8

Good ContentThe content is great. Much Appreciated. Hopefully, a viable business model emerges that is financially palatable for both the consumer and the creator, and the intermediaries. It is simply too expensive to pay for multiple independent subscriptions. Perhaps subscribers could and would risk higher preliminary fees to help get an individual entity up to viable scale for a corresponding reward of considerably lower fees when platforms have made it big. Teams of creators is another alternative. There just isn’t enough pocket cash to buy just too many podcasters and writers over the longer haul..Version: 1.2.7

Well-designed appWell-designed app, which makes it easy to curate all your Substack sources in one place. Recommended..Version: 1.0.1

Good content and design at expense of featuresSubstack content is generally high quality, and the app is well designed. I’d like to see more exploration of the RSS reader feature as a competitor to apps like Feedly, with features such as OPML imports to be a more powerful media source and experience..Version: 1.0.2

Discovery goldThe mind and actions of an authoritarian regime isn’t just the regime itself. The tentacles of this administration is far more active and is both scary and dangerous. The Biden admin act as the brain and the key parts of media the mouth piece, congress members is the body, the court is the feet and now we know the federal law enforcement is the hands. I originally thought it was pure paranoia on conspiracy folks, but you just shed light on actions taken in the dark alleys we don’t see. We can see them now. They use only parts on you but Conservatives and truth tellers are getting the full body right now. The 3 branches were supposed to operate separate but equal, not in collusion for a common cause against its citizens and their wishes. Keep the discovery information coming I am sure more light will expose this further..Version: 1.1.5

Fun, Reliable, and Easy to useOk, we all know Substack has great content, but they’ve gone above and beyond by giving users an easy to use and reliable app now too! I saw today they added the ability to have articles “read” to us and added a “play next” function, so I wanted to drop a positive review here. I love that the are investing in their product in smart ways and executing well too. (Side note: about a month ago I emailed their support team and asked them to add a feature that would allow readers to expand or collapse comment threads, and a HUMAN engineer replied that she liked the idea and would add it to their RFE list. Great touch, Substack!).Version: 1.1.0

Rediscovered over Christmas 2023After a year away from Substack, I rediscovered the magazine blogging platform over the Xmas break. It was the Substack posts by Patti Smith during her Italian travels that first caught my attention and I have subscribed to Patti’s posts. They make you feel connected. Inspired by this first sub, I searched for the Slovenian philosopher, Slavoj Žižek. Again, it is excellent writing..Version: 2.0.8

ReliefFinally, something to feel good about. I was about to stop listening/reading the ‘news’ due to overreaching drama accompanied by depression. As a Canadian, I’m watching the political landscape shift quite dramatically to mirror? (I hope not) our cousins to the south. With immigration at an all time high I sure hope we can remain respectful of all (things) that make this planet enjoyable. If you feel like leaving the planet, without actually leaving, might I suggest a trip to Prince Edward Island with a ferry ride to Isles de la Madeleine (don’t forget to bring a kite). Thanks Andrew for reminding me of the value that the ‘dog days of summer’ bring. Best Wayne.Version: 1.3.4

There’s Finally an App!I’m excited to see that Substack has an app now so that I can view all of the writers I’m subscribed to. Since I started with reading Glenn Greenwald’s substack, the site has been my go-to for journalism that I find trustworthy and worth reading. Individual people putting out their own content free of corporate pressure (at least that’s what it’s billed as). Having them all come through e-mail was fine generally but I enjoy the smooth movement into the app to see all of my subscriptions on one list instead of hunting for them in my email. I know it just started and will need to be updated so I fully realize the possibility of future issues with the app that will need correcting but nevertheless I’m glad to see that it’s been created..Version: 1.0.1

CrossroadsIt’s word that been around for centuries, in this case I’ll refer it to what goes on in one’s mind. Ie one gets to the point of understanding of self where you realise patterns are repeating in that skull space you call a brain. What usually happens is we only think linearly so each word in our heads inevitable leads to another…. Which can lead to being miserable for example. That’s whenever say, you realise you need help. Here’s one tool, :- one needs to interject a word into our linear process, pick up a book, open at any page ,and look at the 5th word on the left side of that page ….. then have your grey muscle think, talk, and explain what that word could mean in your current situation ….. and bingo, something smart happens . Choosing Truth over Propaganda.I’m a devoted Substack subscriber for one simple reason: with the exception of some content from “The Wall Street Journal,” and “The Spectator,” newspapers (the UK edition is a weekly newspaper—published as what is a glossy-paged magazine, in American vernacular) I don’t trust the legacy media, nor the Twitter/Meta-world/Google triumvirate to give me straight journalism. I get to choose to read whom I trust, not be force fed Pravda-esque propaganda because that’s all there is. I occasionally read stories in the NY Post, because I trust the integrity of Miranda Divine and the editorial staff in general. However, Substack is my oasis in the desert of modern journalism..Version: 1.0.2

Love Substack as a reader and a writer!I love Substack from both a Reader standpoint and a Writer standpoint. It is an intuitive and user-friendly platform that has exactly the tools and features I find most useful. And it gives them to us in a professional, elegant interface where we get to hang out with one another. Love having my favorite writers all in one place, and as a literary professional, I’m enjoying building a Substack presence far more than my experiences with social media and personal websites. Substack does for writers and readers what Apple did for computer users—provides an enjoyable experience within a “lean production” environment—simplicity, efficiency, productivity..Version: 1.2.8

Thank you JamieAmidst the chaos of having a very unwell husband and this weekend my dear puppy Jak is suffering with some bug that is causing him not to eat. Great app but one problemGreat app you can see and read everything on the website so you don’t need to go on google and google the website on phones that helpful BUT if you have a button to write on the app instead of going on the website to do that then MAKE IT EASIER BY ADDING ONE PS if you added one then MAKE IT EASIER TO SEE BECAUSE I CAN’T FIND IT.Version: 2.0.7

This is who WE areThis is just the latest demonstration of a world or rather a species that has that has never left the jungle. Remove the thin veneer of civilisation we’ve all given ourselves, by threatening, attacking, or trying to take what is ours and we will almost always respond with violence. Worse still and unlike most other animals, our violence is often vicious, excessive, gratuitous and cruel in the extreme..Version: 2.0.3

ExactlyI identify with many of the situations here. I haven’t been successful so my husband didn’t seem to support me. I realize much of that is his upbringing. You don’t flatter too often. His father especially did not seem to compliment or encourage. Still I often felt lonely. Jeff, you writing, “Don’t say you’re going to be a writer, say, ‘I am a writer,’”when I started my writing career, changed my life. I had spunk at fifty one and self published four novels in four years, kept a blog going and really believed I could do this, what I wrote mattered. Then the world felt like it rocked under my feet. I sputtered around but lost some of that confidence. After five years of a slog, some writing, but dull zeal, I’m coming out of it. I thank you or the mail chimp powers, for inviting me to Substack. I joined on New Years Day. Here’s to success in our writing souls!.Version: 1.2.6

You’re an awesome writer and I have enjoyed your articles tremendously. I’m new here…Great format, sub stack. I’ve read only yeah right right here. Yes ma’am gonna have an x-ray on. Do you need to have it? Yeah I was good since it’s her one article here by Steve Schmidt that he just wrote on the January 6 select committee final hearing. Steve Schmidt has got to be one of the most articulate and elegant writers on political affairs that I have encountered. This article knocked it out of the park for me. This article presents a situation that engenders both hope and fear. People of good will stood up and called out the evil among us. What hope this gives me! I feared and still fear that their voices would be silenced. Those who sponsored and promoted this kind of power grab are capable of violently enforcing a new power structure in this nation. A power structure that will crush the innocent, the earnest seekers of the means to feed their families, educate their children, and live a peaceful, safe life - the ordinary Americans. It almost happened in Germany when fascism nearly crushed whole cultures. We must heed the warnings that Steve Schmidt and those like him who see the imminent risk presented by our native born American oligarchs. We don’t have to give up our beliefs about religion or how the country should be run, but we must protect the rights of all to prosper without the threat of the greedy, the power hungry destroying our democracy. Great job, Mr. Schmidt!.Version: 1.2.6

Thank you for your honestyArriving home from Jerusalem on Thursday, my husband and I were kvelling over the beautiful life our son and daughter in law and five precious grands have created in the land of milk and honey. But this joy was short lived when we woke this morning to reports of the atrocities being committed by terrorists just over the border. Then the lies and subterfuge began. “Battle between Israel and Gaza”, as in “we didn’t start the fire”. Grateful that our family and extended family is safe, we are proud that one grandson is serving in the IDF and another is preparing to serve. But it is time to speak out. Thank you for continuing to be our canary in the coal mine. Yasher koach. Bubbie Malka.Version: 2.0.3

Mary TrumpMary Trump tells it like it truly is. I have relatives that remember how horrible Donald Trump was in doing his best to get those 5 young teenagers convicted of a crime they did not commit.. Thank you so very much for putting out Information on him.. one of my family members said he use to be in Albany, NY years ago working at a public school with children and she met him. I’ve tried to tell her gently Donald Trump was never in Albany, NY working under anyone in the school system for children .. but you know something I may be wrong maybe he did some type of intern work.. based on how he is now I can never believe that he worked in a public school helping any children.. His own children seem like they fear him especially his sons. It’s sad.. I really appreciate the writings that Mary Trump tried to get out to the public.. he has followers that no matter what truth is told about him they will not believe it.. he is not a good man and he definitely should not be President of these United States ever again. Thank you Mary Trump for all you do to get the message out there to people that will listen.. I’m hopeful that those that read your works will pass it on to others.. God bless you...Version: 2.0.0

App failureI have finally been able to access Substack by loading it on my iPad. I have loaded it on my iPhone and am unable to get it to open. I have stripped it out and reloaded it about 6 times on my iPhone but when I use the link it will not open and the circle just goes around … I really want it on my iPhone as well! Too hard to locate anywhere to report the issue. All of my favourite writers are here and I need this glitch fixed..Version: 1.2.4

Good app; “read” tracking needs workI use this app every day and find it useful. I like that the app keeps track of how much of each article I’ve read, but this functionality is glitchy in its current implementation— often, after finishing an article, I find that it has not been marked “read” and I have to go back into it and scroll all the way to the bottom and exit again to get it to show as “read”. (Yes, I am certain that I had scrolled all the way to the bottom the first time I read it.) And there have been a couple of very short articles that I was never able to get marked “read” no matter what I tried. I would also like to be able to delete (not just archive) individual posts. Thanks for your work!.Version: 1.2.10

Audio Is Great But Significant Bugs ExistThe new audio feature is great, essentially turning articles into podcasts. There’s an annoying bug. I only want to play one article at a time and despite never creating a playlist, previously played articles appear in the Next list and there’s no way to remove them. I don’t want a playlist. An even bigger problem with the app is that not every article displays in the main feed. You have to go to an author’s page in the app to see all their articles. I have no idea why and there’s no setting to list all articles in the main feed. This means email is still the most reliable way to see what’s happening. Finally, notifications don’t work at all for me..Version: 1.1.1

WantedThe gathering and presentation of thoughts and words that please the inner ear in such perilous times bring hope; but they should also bring warning to an open mind. One must control word’s of influence or become weakened by their influence. There are thoughts generated throughout history and one must hear and heed the warning they each contain, just as todays words from Eisenhower gave open warning to those that bear the responsibility to hel humanity survive the constant onslaught of control and enslavement. The presentation’s by substack is the gathering of our outspoken leaders that yes give us hope; but remember to remain alert to all influence or become one of the pied piper’s following..Version: 1.2.6

AmazingSubstack is an amazing app for learning, for reading and writing your own content. Highly recommended.Version: 1.2.5

The app works fine and makes things a lot easier.Five stars. Just also while I’m here, you might want to put in an option to unarchive posts once they’re in your library archive folder. Only at the moment once you archive something there is no way to reverse it, which could lead to someone archiving a post by accident and it then being stuck there. Thanks..Version: 1.0.1

So if your strong enough it’s here, If you need it’s here, if you care enough its here, if you want change it’s here, and if your ready to stand up for what is right this is where the honest people are. This is the type of platform that is capable of bringing the honest caring, and fed up people together, this is how we weed out the narcissists and move forward into something real! Hang On!After being swept up and away in a tsunami of graft and political corruption, bolstered by and cloaked in, a swirl of mind-clobbering cultural insanity, we in the hinterlands of America found an unexpected fingerhold to try and cling to rationality. There is apparently a froth of sanity perilously floating around the tumultuous surges of opaque floodwaters of lies and hysteria in our society. Like a snatched breath between dunkings, Substack may provide a glimmer of hope that the sun will shine again and that perhaps the final curtain won’t descend with a flash of retina-searing death from the skies brought on by our collective surrender to madness. In other words, I find Substack helpful and entertaining (esp the comments thereof)!.Version: 1.1.7

The camouflage of Limited LibertyWhenever or always you ask or contract for permission, licensure of any description, you are bound to a contract, whether obvious or nebulous, the entity or institution has henceforth control over your conduct or has jurisdiction over your behavior or intentions. To the general populace and even to most officials who are unaware of the complications and the adherence or compliance required. There is a myriad of these obligatory subtle or unseen rules or laws that they virtually deny the concept of ‘Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness’ concept lest you own nothing, do not trade, do not travel, or do most everything that would require a normal or natural lifestyle. SubstackSubstack is a major step forward for those interested in promoting and publishing their work. I know. I’ve had books published the normal way in hardback. Using Substack is way easier; and the author is in complete control, beginning to end..Version: 2.0.6

Re-evaluating my resolution…!Bahahahaha! Great article … sounds like I might reconsider my Diet Coke resolution…!.Version: 2.0.9

This app can read to youWhich is great, but what is not so great is that there are no controls to turn off autoplay. So when one post is finished, it continues to read me an older one I have listened too previously. I am usually busy with my hands and unable to get to the phone and stop it. This is annoying. Also, if the Substack channel mostly does audio, the autoplay does not just play the next oldest audio as you might expect, or the next newest, which would be great (and more logical), it begins to read you the next older text based entry. Even if there are five audio posts that would be next. Repetition like this is even more annoying. Having the options available for the user to choose would be way better. Otherwise a 5 Star app..Version: 1.3.3

The ride homeHey Jeff. Great “ride home”. Thanks to you, AD, coach, GOAT and whoever else made decisions to let you sit in the GOATS seat. You stated many times you were having FUN. Being at the game, I did not hear the broadcast although did hear the wrap up. And now listening to the ride, there will be no one that doubts you are having fun. Throw in knowledge of game and great presentation, I feel there will be many years for you to be “behind the mike”!! Last night brought back so many memories. My first MSU game, I attended with my parents at an early age in Carr Health Gym. Watched them dig the hole for racer arena. Sold drinks in the stands for a couple seasons. Too many memories to start naming. But one, watching my son, Shane, being a ball boy for games (the ones in those days that had wiped up the sweat😁). Continue the excellent job, not work. You’re having too much FUN to call it work. Lifetime fan of Racer athletics!! Steve Andrus.Version: 2.0.5

Reading the Truth in American News is hard to findEven before Drudge appeared on the sene it was a challenge to find honest journalism and I don’t mean that they needed to be in agreement with my perceptions, just honest. And yes, if they “Sold Out” as on the case of “ The Drudge Report” then I pack up my time and seek out new journalists! Frustrating but necessary if I am determined to be well educated & informed. If I find a news source that is anything but honest then I move on ( this happened quite frequently ). But I have been diligent and have found a small group of educators aka journalists “because” that’s what journalism does - it educates & informs so that I can make informed decisions. And so I thank all of you who are true to your profession. This latest article by Emerald Robinson is a perfect example; not that I already lost trust in Lutz but I just wasn’t aware of so much in her latest writing of him and his antics. This helps me confirm my suspicions and complete my life long passion for the truth on people & subjects. So to that end, I want to say “Thank You” Emerald Robinson for using my time wisely. Since I have precious little of it to source my providers, it’s a confirmation that my new subscription to you has already confirmed my investment in this endeavor has paid in dividends yet again. Please continue….. Paul Q.Version: 1.1.8

The Gardiner The great barrier between land and waterIt was an interesting point that matt pointed out that of the team 11 only 2 are against what to do with the Gardiner. My wreck less vision take it down. Build a toll tunnel entering from Bloor Viaduct and exit just pass the food terminal or what the heck go for the gusto exit 427/QEW As a child I played and swam just north of Riverdale zoo/old Toronto zoo. Maybe we should have tunnelled DVP and tolled it also. When they built the Burlington Sky Bridge it’s was tolled. My grandfather mentioned that bank of canada lent the funds with no interest. When the tolls paid repaid the loan, the toll gates were removed. Thanks for this venue to go blah blah.Version: 1.3.6

Long form journalism rocks!Short form journalism offered by legacy journalism sucks! As a frequent consumer of podcasts and Substack posts, I am better informed that at any time in my 72 year lifetime. Combine this evolution with the advances in large language modes like ChatGPT and you have a superior alternative to obtaining an expensive university degree. This is a great time to be alive for anyone who is a lifetime learner. It is also a requirement for all “knowledge workers” (the “laptop” crowd) who wish to compete successfully in the emerging Digital Age..Version: 1.3.7

MesmerizedI just started and have spent hours with some of the best articles I have come across in over half a century of habitual reading. I can feel myself slowing and focusing as an invisible universe makes itself tangible. I am not using the paid or upgraded model. I am frugal to a fault, but I think I will be upgrading out of a combination of appetite for more, guilt and gratitude. There is material here for everyone regardless of your faith, politics or interests. The quality cuts across the normal distribution of bad to great but the great is insightful on a grand scale. God has no toes.Sub-stack Is quite a rabbit hole that I enjoy on many levels. I pay only 2 people subs on this platform and only one of them is worth it. I somehow got lost in c19 and without a doubt it is the biggest and deadliest con ever. I enjoy some new Yorker fighting robots and writings from around the globe. Free speech still exists on Substack. So it is a important platform..Version: 2.0.13

Bastion of free expressionAt least for now, substack refuses to bow to the totalizing censorship juggernaut. If you cannot defend the right to speak of those you find most odious and despicable, then you are merely a pawn..Version: 2.0.8

Contentious vaccinesTwo hundred years of indoctrination has brought us to this point. The question is, was the vaccines contentious at the time of small pox, polio , Spanish flu etc. was the propaganda machine ( safe & effective , science is setteled , there is no link between vaccine & Autism etc. etc. ) operative at that time , indoctrinating institutions , scientists & doctors like at the present time ? Where was the real science ? Don’t they know the data on the health of American children are abominable ? To truly answer these questions one has to go back to the root of the problem, during the time of Louis Pasture & the unknown Anthony Beauchamp. This should shed a huge amount of light between the “ anti vaxers & the vaccine cultists or the vaccine euphorics I.Version: 1.3.4

Fresh lookIt’s great to see the Birmingham Dispatch arrive on the scene with a fresh pair of eyes. For far to long we have needed someone to look at the positives of our great City. I was born here 69 years ago and have watched all of the old publications just focus on the negatives over the last fifteen or so years. It’s time to move on and focus on the positives. Welcome new young businesses to our City, Creating jobs and wealth for our citizens. Well done Birmingham Dispatch for taking the initiative..Version: 2.0.5
