✓ Cute but disappointing…The game is adorable, I love the artstyle… but I already have qualms about this seemingly unfinished game. My star rating decreased over time… It only took me 2 days to do everything I could do goal-wise. Now no NPCs (the ones that come and ask to show you ads for rewards) show up and I’m getting the same outfit/item twice. The worst part of the game so far is that you cant gain income passively besides the ridiculously small amount the sushi belt grants you in a short amount of time— and you have to be have the app open to even gain any rewards. The lack of goals to work towards makes this game lack a drive to play after getting 5-stars. I’m surprised since Animal Restaurant already has this feature. Like milestones that reward the player with or useful things to buy. It’s just all cosmetic things you buy… Another frustrating part is that I cannot upgrade my workers… They are kind of useless right now. Nyanko barely cleans up before resting again :/ Everyone is so slow and barely work. It’d be fine if I could promote them. Hopefully all this changes when “Grand Opening” is released. ✓ Money requiredEssentially the title. You get a few free additions to your restaurant which is typical for mobile games, then boom, everything else requires the premium currency. Like what? I’m barely five minutes into the game and you’re already asking me to spend half my given premium money on on new table. Plus the fliers only work so long before you have to wait twenty minutes for them to refresh. That or watch a thirty+ second ad for four measly customers. The game just seems like it’s be extremely, annoyingly slow to get established in without spending irl money. That’s a no bueno from me. Edit after playing for awhile. It becomes a grindfest very very fast. In order to up to number of stars on your restaurant you need to buy more pieces of furniture. Going from three to four stars needs 100 pieces. That’s a lot. That’s going to cost a lot of coins even if you buy the cheap stuff. So I can play for five minutes, doing the quests and using up all my fliers, before I have to wait half an hour for the quests to refresh. That’s going to take a very long time to earn coins..Version: 1.1.2
✓ Cute game but they reset all your progressI enjoyed playing the game for a while, made some purchases, upgraded all my stuff and was in the process of earning enough stars for my grand opening. Stopped playing for a few weeks, since life got busy and came back to all my stars gone, everything in the restaurant destroyed and needing repairs and all my cash gone?? Restoring purchases didn’t help and didn’t do anything. It’s as if my whole save data was reset because it even gave me the option to repurchase the starter pack I had already received. I was very disappointed and after watching so many ads and waiting for things to repair, hiring all of the staff and decorating all three rooms I don’t want to go through it all again if it’s just going to reset again. So just a fair warning. Wish I knew they reset it before I spent money..Version: 1.1.2
✓ Really cute, Really annoyingI downloaded Kuma Sushi Bar a couple days ago, and so far it’s really enjoyable to play! I love the art style and the cute characters as well as its unique decor, but there is just one thing that really gets on my nerves. Customer Flow. The fact that we have to continuously press the flyer button to get one customer is really tiring. If we could automatically get customers or if the flyer button would give us around 2-3 customers every time we fill it then that would be better. My main issue however, is the cooldown time when we have pressed the flyer button to its limit. It is SO ANNOYING!!! I don’t want to wait 20 minutes until I can get more customers again because without customers, you basically can’t play!! Please get rid of the cooldown time because it is SOOO FRUSTRATING!!! 🙄.Version: 1.4.7

✓ Bugged!I love this game, and I play it endlessly, but it has a looot of issues. This game is very cute and it has so much potential, but I don’t understand some of the mechanics. Making the sushi and the ramen is fun, but the glitches prevent you from doing things correctly. Sometimes it lets you make anything EXCEPT the correct item that the customer wants. You don’t even get any extra money from doing it manually, so the fun part is kinda ruined because it angers your customers and slows your progression in the game. Half the employees hardly do anything, and you end up doing it yourself. The employees are pretty loveable though, and they end up having some interesting character arcs. There’s a bug where sometimes keep giving you the same dialogue just to unlock an outfit that you already unlocked yesterday. I wouldn’t recommend watching ads to double your money. I watched dozens of ads before I realized it didn’t even work for me. I wouldn’t recommend the surveys either. Even if you do them correctly, they won’t usually pay out on the larger ones unless you take it to customer service with photo evidence. Just keep rushing customers in, give the game a break, and then you’ll come back to more customers. All-in-all the game is pretty fun and cute but it could use a lot of work..Version: 1.5.1
✓ Cute but a few problems…It’s a very cute and therapeutic game. I enjoy playing this when I wanna do something with my fingers but I hate the new update. The angry squirrel being able to break the tables feels like a way to just get consumers to spend more money on things they hav already paid for. There doesn’t seem to be as many fun design options for the ramen house as there was for the sushi bar and making money seems more difficult than before the update although you only had one source of income at that time. I’ve been having a hard time completing the daily missions due to the high costs for upgrades and the lack of fliers to recruit customers. I hate how quickly you run out of fliers and how much you hav to click one paper just to get one customer. I used to adore this game the first week I got it but with all the problems, the cons outweigh the pros. I miss when developers actually put time into their games rather than pushing out cheap cash grabs with plenty of bugs and issues. hopefully these things get fixed in future updates. ✓ Furniture epidemicEver since the new update I can’t watch videos for furniture and now it’s impossible to acquire any new furniture. I really love this game but the update made this game absolute garbage. Don’t get me wrong it is a very great game but this just feels now like a huge waste of my time and energy with little to no pay off because the only character that visits my restaurants is a cat that throws chump change out of its pockets rather than the other characters providing furniture or clothing options (I’ve already spent money on the game and this just feels like a money grab with little to no support for actual players) how am I supposed to upgrade my restaurant with no new items from what the update has caused. ✓ It’s a great game so far…It’s a really nice game, the art style is cute and the little animations the NPCs make are adorable. However, the fact that the fashion crane( or wren… I have no clue what she is) won’t show up after a while and its only the beaver….a bit disappointing. I did see that they will add new content to the game soon but could we have some sort of storybook? So we know how far into the story we are and can we also get a hint on outfits and Customers? I’d like to know how to unlock more of famous customers. Actually being able to customize our lil bear would be nice too, like the skin, face and outfit. Also when I purchase an item it would be nice if I didn’t have to buy it over and over again for each item slot… please make it a one time purchase. ✓ Not really that great 😔Well there’s cute art, original names, etc. but there really needs to be more opportunities. Like, when you unlock all the rooms there’s really nothing to do anymore. You should add more rooms when you unlock all of them. Also, there are lots of bugs. When Michiko comes and offers coins, I select watch ad and she says “It comes, it goes” and all that stuff. ✓ Cute!! but the flyer wait time is the worstThis game is so cute but if you're someone like me who has ADHD and a short attention span, you're probable going to play this for 5 seconds and absolutely love it! But once it stops you from attracting customers to actually, y’know, play the game?? You'll probably close the app and never open it again. This is a really cute game, i love the art style and the little characters. The sushi making game aspect is also interesting and fun! i personally love that you can watch ads to get rewards because i like quickly progressing in games! I also like that theres not much story since i skip through dialogue anyway. Please take off the flyer cool-down its the absolute worst! ✓ Could be so goodThe premise of the game and the mechanics when they work are pretty addicting, but there are just SO. MANY. BUGS. please fix at least some of them! Currently the holiday penguin is coming around and I'm pretty sure he's supposed to be giving me themed gifts in exchange for my gingerbread men, but they give me nothing. My workers keep giving me furniture or outfits I've already unlocked, and when I'm preparing food, almost half my clicks aren't registered and make me mess up often. Sometimes when I watch an ad for double money or to fill the restauraunt or get furniture, the ad plays and then it just doesn't give me my reward. Lastly, this isn't a bug, but the workers are quite innefficient at what they are supposed to do. You can't really rely on the workers at all to clean up the area in a timely fashion. Like, the mouse is supposed to "fix" things so that I can "focus" on making food, but she doesn't even fix the broken tables caused by angry squirrel and the time it takes her to clean filth off the tables is so ineffective that I might as well be doing everything on my own, I almost don't see the point of having these workers except when they help me prep food. Prehaps the team can consider making the workers more useful? Maybe the actions they do, they can be programmed to do more often?.Version: 1.4.5
✓ So fun! but…I adore this game as it is so cute and kawaii and very suitable for children! my only concern is how you have to wait a bit before you can cook sushi again?!? it’s pointless but the game itself is quit fun. ✓ Cute art but that’s itThe art is super cute but relies heavily on ads to progress the game. However progressing the game doesn’t really give enjoyment, there’s no storyline to speak of. You can buy decor but it doesn’t do anything game wise except increase your fame stars to unlock the staff room and sushi belt. And then you also spend $$$ on decor in those rooms. Doesn’t explain how to get additional employees besides the cat you get in the beginning. Also don’t have backstories for any characters such as customers. Would have been good if unlocking certain decor sped up flow of customers, reduced cooking speed, etc. so the money is worth spending besides making your restaurant look pretty..Version: 1.0.2
✓ Too many ads, not enough gameplayFor the 30 minutes or so I have already played I’ve watched more ads then actually played the game. While the premise was promising and the cats are cute, there isn’t much to do. You can only serve like 4 customers before you get tired, and you can only hit the flyer so many times before there’s a cool-down period and you need notes to clean up the restaurant and they are hard to get unless you pay for them! ✓ Stop before 5 starsI played the whole game, from restaurant 1 all the way to the ramen bar 5 stars, and i advise players to quit around the time they hit 4 stars on the sushi restaurant (first restaurant) because the game slowly starts locking you out of features (clothing swan, furniture beaver) around that point. i couldn't unlock any of the outfits after the first restaurant because i got softblocked from it (swan stopped showing up, staff didn't chat in staff room, no ads options) and recently the furniture options got blocked too even though I have less than a third of the options currently unlocked. if they were behind an in-game money wall that would be fine, but the system for unlocking furniture/clothes right now is so bad that it makes the game unfun after a while. logging in just to complete the daily streak (NOT the daily mission because the game won't let me click on speech bubbles anymore + staff don't sit in staff room anymore) isn't worth it once you have over 600 bills. tldr: really buggy, play for like 3 weeks then delete it. it'll enhance your experience.Version: 1.5.1
✓ Cute but defo has room for improvementsI love the aesthetic of the game. It is distracting, relaxing and somewhat fun to play. However…you end up making more money in the dollars than the gold coins which is annoying as you’re limited to what you spend on with the dollars. I have fixed everything in my sushi bar and now I have over 500 dollars with nothing to spend on. Unlike pocket love, you are unable to buy more gold coins with the dollars which makes the value of it redundant. What is the point on earning dollars if we have nothing at all to spend it on? ✓ Game loop needs to pick a laneNot an idle game but you can only play 10-20 mins at a time before you are soft locked not to continue. It's a customization game but you can't unlock customizations without money or ads. It's supposed to be story-based but the story is also behind a pay/ad wall. The 'bad customers' take WAYYY too long to clean up after for how long it takes to get customers in the door. Overall, the game does not feel smooth and coherent in its gameplay loop- it's super cute, has good ideas and I do enjoy the food building, however they add these unsuited caveats only after getting you hooked on a GOOD gameplay loop without those features. Loved it for a little bit but I'm finding another game that I can play when I am able to without being forced to take a huge break in my limited entertainment time..Version: 1.5.10

If you open this app for a fun cute time with your sushi cats, you’ll likely be sitting waiting for 4 different 30 second ads to conclude. But the thing is to get to a comfortable point in the game you have to watch a bunch of ads which I find really annoying like we get it you need money whatever but I spend more time watching the ads then playing your game. ✓ My rating ❣️I really do enjoy this game and its style. Customising the restaurant and employees is very satisfying. However I cant help but feel it needs a lot of improvements. Once you have bought a furniture item you have to have an item there, if you would like the wall blank or the floors you cannot, you must have an item there. The game is very very slow progress wise, there is seemingly no way to upgrade the employees and with how much they help progress the game, at times they can feel obsolete. I also think the frequency of the bad customers, mainly just squirrel is far too often, and doubles down on the games slow progress. The coins are the main currency in the game youll need however the game gives you an abundance of the cash, which becomes almost entirely obsolete after you fix your restaurant, it doesnt seem like the seperation of money is even needed in the game. However, even through this i still regularly play this game and will continue too, just seems as if it needs tweaking..Version: 1.2.2
✓ Ads ads adsWhile the game is free, I understand devs need to make some coin. While the game on the surface doesn’t force ads in your face at random intervals, the economy of the game essentially forces the player to watch ads for rewards in order to progress. From what I’ve noticed, if you serve one customer 1 sushi, you get 1 coin (besides the sushi mini game) Most items for purchase are 100 coins and up. I would have to serve 100 customers in order to afford a basic item. That’s fine if there was a constant flow or customers show up freely. However you have to spam the flyer button to get customers to come to the restaurant (that’s the idle part of the game I guess). That’s fine BUT after so many customers, there is a 20 minute cooldown. In order to get around this, the player can use the flyer ad option which allows the player to watch a 45sec-1mi n ad to bring in 1 round of customers. You want coins? Watch an ad. You want dollars? Watch ad. You want furniture? Repair time speed? Ads. I’m patient so I usually don’t watch many ads in games for things but in this game, I found myself watching more ads than actually playing because I felt the game economy forces me to do it in order to get any actual gameplay/progression. Will be uninstalling but very cute concept..Version: 1.5.6

In other games, the poster system is infinite use, but this one isn’t and you gotta watch an ad to reset the 20 minute cooldown! ✓ DisappointedI was really excited going into this I thought it would be really fun, like having to quickly serve a ton of customers like a time limit sort of thing. But honestly the gameplay is kinda boring, you serve your customers and then the bear just goes to sleep and you have to wait. I only just started playing the game and I only have two tables, but earning cash is sooo annoying it’s those dumb quizzes and surveys and buying products and stuff to earn cash, so I honestly don’t wanna make an attempt. I did one and haven’t even gotten the money yet so yeah. This game would be so much better if you didn’t have to either pay or do dumb surveys just to be able to fix up the place. Like even if you only got cash from certain and customers and it was a very small amount even that would be better. ✓ Fun but has some big issuesSo first off, I will say I enjoy the gameplay and art style. It’s cute and I do enjoy designing my restaurants. The mini game to prepare sushi is enjoyable. However, I’ve run into some really major bugs that have kind of killed my enjoyment of the game. They added the new shops you can unlock, which I was thrilled about since I had everything I had wanted in my first sushi store. Unfortunately, the ramen shop that I unlocked is pretty broken. When making the ramen, only the bowls with noodles and nothing else can be prepared. If I get an order for ramen with broth, it will not let me click on it to cook it. I end up having to send out uncooked ramen and losing the customers/my itadakimasu streak. Its incredibly frustrating. It’s not like I put the wrong ingredients in the bowl, it just will not prepare the food when I click on it. I also think the game is a bit too aggressively monetized. The angry squirrel that breaks tables just feels like a cash grab, not a fun gameplay element. Sometimes I feel like I am watching more ads than I am playing the game (which might be due to the flyers that limit the amount of money you can earn). ✓ AdpocalypseThis game can be fun and entertaining, my problem with it is it’s basically a watch to play, I have spent more time watching ads then actually playing the game the amount of ads there is it’s ridiculous I understand that it is a free to play a game but the ads hinder the games playability. I played those puzzle games that gives you an ad after you play a level. That is fine at least I have the ample time to enjoy the game. This game is the complete opposite, watch ad to make some progress. Watch a 30sec+ ad to get one in-game currency but do a survey that gives you 3000+ currency but requires you to by a product or a questionnaire which gives you one currency but also take 24 hours to confirm that time actually did the survey. This game is basically a cash farm for the devs that make profit off if you watching ads because you don’t want to wait 20 minutes to bring in customers or repair the restaurant. I understand it takes time and money to make a game as I am a creator myself. This game would have been better to have been a paid game and let you able to earn a steady amount in-game currency, yes you can already do that but with the way children and young adults are being brought up now they have a short attention span and will be moreIncentivised to watch an ad than to wait yo earn the in-game currency.
