VIZ Designer for HomeKit for Positive User Reviews

Techcenterاپلیکیشن خیلی خوبیه. تونستم باهاش home app خودمو به سلیقه خودم طراحی کنم. استفاده ازش خیلی راحته و نیاز به دانش خاصی نداره..Version: 1.0.1

Fantastic HomeKit AppI came across this app today; I was hesitant to purchase it based on the reviews, but after a couple of hours, I can’t say enough about how great it is. This is the customization for the HomeKit app I’ve been searching for. It appears there are a few problems, but it looks as though the developer is quickly fixing them..Version: 1.0.3

Passcode pop-up stuck behind video cameras. This is a great app. I have been able to make a unique HomeKit display by importing my own images. I would have given the app 5 stars but there seems to be a problem with passcode pop-up. When I press my security bottom the passcode pop-up is displayed in the middle of the screen, right where my cameras are. No matter what I have tried, I can’t not get the pop-up to display in front of the camera images. Is it possible to have the passcode pop-up display in front of the cameras?.Version: 1.0.3

So far works great!I downloaded the app and was able to register it with no problems. Evidentally that problem has been fixed. I followed the instructions, and downloaded the software for my MacBook Air M1. It runs great there. I started up the software on my Mac, and it asked me to log into the account I created from my iPhone. That worked fine. It then suggested I watch a YouTube tutorial, which was a great idea. So far everything is working fine. The only problem is that the software license was displayed in German, even though I chose English in the language dropdown. That seems like an easy fix. Hopefully they will take care of it soon. Likewise, the message about accepting cookies on their website has buttons that are labelled in German only, even though some of the explanation is in English. Watching the demo on Shane Whatley's YouTube channel was eye-opening. I tried to leave HomeKit and go to Home Assistant because HomeKit was so inflexible as to how the screens were displayed. It turns out that Home Assistant is crazy complicated to get set up, with various packages from differen vendors, and more than one way to do things to the point where it was confusing. With Viz Designer, I'll be able to have HomeKit layouts that make more sense. I thus will stay with HomeKit. Thanks Shane Whatley for demoing this solution!.Version: 1.0.2

Wall Mounted iPad HomeKit Looks GreatIt is a little expensive…but I really like the fact that I am able to make my wall mounted iPad look almost exactly how I want. I do wish that a few more themes were available to download and REALLY wish air quality was an option along with the temperature and humidity. It was a little hard to figure out in the beginning (I.E. true and false values rather than some kind of easier drop down), but anyone who wants to use their iPads as a HomeKit admin is sure to figure it out like I did - the YouTube videos are helpful. Only things I’d necessarily ask: Are their any ways to download more themes? Can you add air quality sensor compatibility? Any way to have outdoor weather added? I really like the app. It is very quick and looks nice!.Version: 1.1.1

Tons of potentialCan’t really explain enough, but everything is by far the best and somewhat easiest way to get a home dashboard exactly the way you want it. Small learning curve with the PC Application, however when you take the time to get to know how everything works this is some solid stuff. With that said there’s a reason why I can’t give it the full 5 stars just yet. Seems as if development has either slowed or seized completely as there hasn’t been any improvements or bug fixes don’t to the applications. After spending hours creating my perfect dashboard it troubles me to say I won’t be able to utilize it unless device status can update stably. I’ve reported the issue multiple times to the dev team hoping for some sort of good outcome since no one else comes close to their level of ease when creating your dashboard. More info on the issue if the development team sees this review. I have icons on my home page of the dashboard that will change color depending if a device is on or off. The icon will change and update to the appropriate color 100% of the time when the device is told to turn on or off through the dashboard itself. However, if the device is toggled physically through a light switch or other physical means the status doesn’t update constantly. With my luck it only updates and works for a short time if I close the application, open the home app on the iPad, and reopen the Viz Designer application. At that point it will update the status of the device even when the device is physically switched on or off with a light switch. But give it a few minutes of the dashboard just sitting there ‘idle’ or when the iPad itself locks, the issue will rise again..Version: 1.1.1

Great App for 'Power Users'First. Given the opportunity, I would give this App a 4.25/5 rating. When the Developer corrects the Cº to Fº conversion issue (for U.S. users) my rating will change to 4.5/5. My Review: This App/Progran combination is not for everyone. It's for, what I would refer to as, Power Users. Meaning, users with technical and/or design software experience - and users with a willingness to invest the time to create an interface that fits their specific use-needs and allows for (possible) improvement over the Home App. Basically - If you're confused about the difference between the VIZ App & the VIZ Program...and which needs to be loaded on what device...you're probably not in the category of 'Power User' that I referred to above. If you are a 'Power User', you will likely be impressed with the capability of this App/Program combination. While not 'perfect', VIZ-Designer allow for a LOT of customization for creating a Dashboard that can be tailored to work within your specific use case..Version: 1.0.2
