‘Edit’ function does not work. Why is this only a tiny pop-up on my iPad Pro 12.9? shouldn’t have to scroll to the left to be able to see a full line of code on a 13inch screen… Also, would be nice if the Edit button worked since that’s the reason I purchased this app. I was under the impression I could use this as a tool to better my understanding of web-development and design, but in its current state, it is pretty much useless to me. Why not add a style sheet function that can pull the CSS nicely and give us usable data like colors and CSS animation code?.Version: 1.0

ControlsI wish there was a way to directly edit the code.Version: 1.0

Disappointingly few featuresThis extension does exactly what the description says, and nothing more. Inline HTML, CSS, JS only. Copy edits can only be made on-page, in a WYSIWYG-type editor. HTML, CSS, JS edits are not allowed, though they are implied in the description. This is not a replacement for the dev options that we expect on all modern desktop browsers. I hope that one day we have an ipad extension (or native tools) allowing this functionality without connecting iPad to a desktop computer. For now, this is not the solution I'm working for. Take the description at it's word and don't hope for any more, even standard, features..Version: 1.0

Even more disappointing(Lowering my rating even more since I’ve found this to be even more of a flop) A bare-bones web inspector — key word “inspector“. The only page “tweaks” it enables are via wysiwyg cursor/element tapping. HTML and style info are readable, but you can’t edit any of it. So, for example — want to temporarily replace a hideous website background image with a solid color that makes the site readable? Forget it. BODY is not a visible element to select for tweaks. Also, on its marketed feature of code size customization … While it does let you decrease the code font size, it DOES NOT accordingly decrease line height. This largely defeats the purpose and makes the "feature" worthless. Many, like me, want smaller text so that MORE content is visible on the screen at any one time - which means MORE LINES. As it is, font set as small as '9' is shown with the exact same line height as font size '16'... From a user experience standpoint, this is a dropped ball. It adds a "feature" but doesn't at all achieve what the feature's common use case is..Version: 1.0

DisappointedHad so much potential. Need an easier way to copy all after inspect & search in app. Not any better than apps that came before this as of now. Which I had a better review :/..Version: 1.0

Decent…Updated: Used to be four stars. Down to one now since it is gotten buggier because of iOS updates with lack of updates to the app to fix those compatibility issues. Really too bad. Previous: Desperately needs line-wrap and even more desperately needs a search. Would be 4.5 stars with these. That last half a star would come with extra ‘features’ like variable code coloring, etc..Version: 1.0

Solid extension, definitely needs better iPad supportHard to go wrong with an HTML viewer/editor, amazing extension/app! iPad support is very limited with this extension, the text box is very tiny as well you cannot search for specific lines of HTML..Version: 1.0

The lack of word wrap may be a dealbreakerOverall, this Safari extension ostensibly does what it says on the tin. But there are three downsides that should probably be aware of, which I’ve listed below in order from least bad to most bad: 1. It isn’t great that this extension doesn’t let you configure whether to show in light mode or dark mode—it only ever follows the system setting. 2. Unless I’ve missed it somewhere, it doesn’t seem possible to be able to trigger this extension from share sheets. Now, you might be wondering why you’d ever need to do that since this extensions available through Safari‘s extensions dropdown—but if you might ever be looking at a webpage within a Safari webview (such as a webpage that you’re looking at within the Twitter app), then you know that there’s no access to the Safari’s extensions dropdown within those sorts of webviews. 3. There’s no way to enable word wrap. Which might be kind of a dealbreaker since so many sites are procedurally generated these days. So for all but the most straightforward use cases, this downside may well be a dealbreaker. All that being said, this app has good bones and good promise. And if the developer might be able to resolve some of these downsides, it could easily become a five-star app..Version: 1.0

LINE WRAPSeriously? You give a slim window and no line wrap? Almost 2023, guys. 2 suggestions. Give line wrap an option at least and give another option for a wider window. Icons are pretty..Version: 1.0

Can’t Edit Text or the View SizeThis app technically does mostly what it says; it adds the ability to view HTML code on a webpage. I’ve always wanted this ability! However, the size of the window makes it hard to use. You can’t edit the size, and most lines don’t fit fully. It’d be great to customize the size. However, the edit text button does not work. I click on the “Edit” button, it provides a pop up explaining how you edit text, but the HTML window closes when this prompt opens, and when I open the HTML window again, I’m not in edit mode anymore. Clicking on the edit button starts the process all over again. I’ll edit this review to 5 stars when it’s fixed. If I’m completely wrong/don’t know how to use it, a tutorial of how to properly use it would help as well. This is my first Safari extension so I might not know how to utilize them properly yet!.Version: 1.0

How do you invoke it in SafariI’ve made the changes in Settings, but I can’t figure out how to invoke it in Safari..Version: 1.0

Lacking full support for iPhone Pro MaxThe UX of the extension is cut off on iPhone Pro Max. The HTML code doesn’t expand the full width of the screen..Version: 1.0

Room for improvementIf you want to view source code in Safari then this app is nice. Unfortunately this app isn't as useful as the screenshots show. I've come across some sites that have 2-6 lines of source code all jumbled in the pop up viewer and it's not very usable to keep scrolling left to right. Is there a way to make more sites look better in the viewer so they take up more lines instead of just a few? Maybe convert the text into a better format for displaying. Of course it's better to view source in a desktop web browser with more space but I think there's room for improvement to more easily read it in iOS..Version: 1.0

Disappointing Waste of Money…I purchased this thinking it would at least do as much as the other (free) Web Inspector, but this is simply a “View Source” extension. Why? Well, it literally says “Inspector” in the title, but now I know this is exaggeration on the dev’s part. Even for the low price-point, I don’t feel this is worth the money—especially considering that their are both free View Source AND Web Inspector extensions. That said, I do love the design. If this had the functionality of the other Web Inspector, with this design, I’d give them all my money. Until then, there’s really no point in installing this. Y’all have been warned..Version: 1.0

Not compatible with Screen Time.Doesn't work when Screen Time web content restrictions are enabled and set to a specific set of pages..Version: 1.0

Lacking features, buggyI want to like this extension, but it’s not very usable. In landscape orientation, the text remains at portrait width. HTML is not formatted properly at all, which might be the way the source is formatted, but it makes the extension unusable on many sites. There’s no shortage of html formatting libraries for the developer to choose from. Overall it’s just not useful..Version: 1.0

BrokenDoesn’t seem to work as expected. Edit function simply closes the editor and then reopening it shows glitched out icons..Version: 1.0

Sometimes (partially) works, other times not at all.I enabled the plugin, went to oldergeeks.com, tapped the extension icon to load the source, and there’s one line, truncated, and the share/edit/font buttons don’t respond to touch. I then tried engadget.com and could see source, along with save it as an .html file. But I couldn’t edit anything. Tapping edit didn’t respond. The font size button responds with a pop up. Nice. So it works and it doesn’t work. Variable experience between sites. Buyer beware..Version: 1.0

I can’t enable this extension on safari.I can’t enable this extension on safari. When I go to settings and go to safari and go to extensions, the app is greyed out and I can’t tap or do anything on it. If anyone knows how to fix this, please help me..Version: 1.0

Pretty useless reallyToday’s websites have a lot of html, but Achoo’s window is tiny. There is no way to export the html. And so there is no real way to inspect it. The ability to change the app’s icon is a really nice feature. If you want to do that..Version: 1.0
