✓ Frustrating cash grab experienceThis used to be a great app that let you access a decent amount of content while keeping certain filters behind the paywall, which is fair enough. But now they’ve changed it so in the free version you can’t do anything at all without having to watch an ad. Every single image generation causes an ad to play. Obviously they want to frustrate you enough that you’ll buy the outrageously expensive sub. I don’t appreciate that kind of manipulation, and have enough self control that I’ll simply not use it anymore. It’s a shame. They used to have the balance about right. Now they’ve gone on a cash grab and I think very poorly of them and will advise people to stay away..Version: 3.5.1
✓ Doesn’t work half the timeI like this app and it’s created a few gorgeous pieces of art but this app needs to be updated to be able to withstand the amount of traffic it’s getting. ✓ Crazy expensive compared to readily available options.Had this app for a very long time. It’s always worked well. I even paid for premium a year ago. For anybody following the scene they should know there several free and exceptionally better options out there than opting in for $149. That price has doubled in a year and I wouldn’t even consider paying that. There’s no concession for loyal users. Have already paid for for lifetime access on similar apps. And would consider doing the same if the cost for this one was not so ridiculous. ✓ DisappointedI started to use Dream a few months ago and I was really impressed and stunned by the app. Amazing results, good quality images and tons of styles to use for free. Now after a couple of updates I’m really disappointed because they added watermarks, which was okay for me anyways, but now my favourite style is premium. Plus the amount of ads is insane, like three ads before being able to generate an image and it wasn’t like this before, and the app works slower every time. I know this is probably done to force free users to go premium but it’s really unfair. If all you want is money out of users then make it a paid app since the begining, instead of building fake expectations of an app that in the end is not as free as it looks like. There are other apps doing the same thing now and I’m testing a few that are not as bad as I thought, for free and less annoying adds. This is a new technology and you’re not the only ones on the market, not everyone wishes to pay for something that is barely starting and as we users know, tons of apps start good and their quality and service gets worse with every update..Version: 3.1.1

✓ HorribleThis app is complete garbage, no humanity whatsoever, a lifeless soulless monstrosity, drawing on a piece of card board with a stubby crayon is better than this, and yet this, this trash, will be our future, I downloaded this app to see what actual artists are up against this is nothing compared to what years of practice love and care can create, human art not AI. To even suggest that artificial intelligence can create art is so incredibly offensive to the real human artists who, in the all too near future are going to become irrelevant because of this soulless machine. Almost once every single day I go to look something up most of the results that are images dead mangled fingers woven together into something these people insist upon calling art people are using AI to write their books storyboard their shows anything that was the job of artist is soon to be taken by what we call intelligence all that is left safe are sculptors. ✓ Used to be amazing, now I wouldn’t recommend.Unfortunately like 99% of products and services these days, it was great until the company turned into a money hungry subscription service that requires users to pay in order to do anything comfortably on the app. I’ve had the app for about a year or two now and it used to be great! it was simplistic, easy to use and straight to the point. Now there’s a social media style feed (which every company seems to think is important for their app), too many menus and options that are just there to fluff up the app. I remember I used to watch one ad for like every 3 pictures I generated, maybe more maybe less but now it gives you an ad Every. Single. Picture. The art that is generated is still as dope and beautiful as it used to be however it’s a chore to generate art cause of all the menus and ads around every corner. This app used to be exciting, innovative and fresh! Now it’s just another copy paste tech app riddled with ads, a boring social feed that is only there to try and sell you premium, and an expensive subscription service that is more expensive than Disney+. ✓ Implicit Bias in AlgorithmI really love this app and would rate it 5 stars if it wasn’t for one issue. The prompt algorithm has an implicit bias against prompts about Black people. This is to say that a lot of prompts will not work if I put Black in the name (in an attempt to create art that resembles me) but will work if I replace the word Black with White. Although it may not be intentional, it is unfair and sullies my experience with the app. I hope you guys can fix this so that this app is more inclusive soon! (After further review it seems as though the developers solution to racist caricatures being made [created by their ai] was to block it from even attempting to create any images that depict people of color. This is a step backwards, and is antithetical to what was originally being complained about. I want to be able to create images with people that look like me without being censored. ✓ Very buggy app with terrible discord serverThe only reason i'm using this is that midjourney doesn't take paypal. Dont waste your time unless you have to. It doesn't understand how many fingers humans have or any other incredibly basic thing. After multiple interactions, Bunny, the moderate of the server, is the most petty, immature, and unhelpful Discord server mod i've ever encountered, and she makes the server unbearable. She seems irritated when people mention bugs that make the app immediately crash after opening, rendering it completely unusable, and did not even pretend to care or suggest it would be fixed soon. She has never been remotely helpful to anyone i've seen, and i've seen her delete a submission to a mini challenge entitled "tourist trap" on account of the submission "not including a tourist attraction" when the submission was an image of London Bridge. ✓ Pathetic customer service. Buyer Beware.BUYER BEWARE. I signed up for the three day trial on this app. Once I saw their exorbitant fees they are charging for a yearly subscription. But as they had an option to purchase a lifetime membership for a high price, I thought okay I will test it out before I buy out right for lifetime subscription. I did the three day trials to test it out to see if it lived up to its reviews and I thought yes it’s okay and I can afford the lifetime membership, but when I went to purchase it, suddenly it’s not available. So I contacted customer service and after a dozen emails and a dozen screenshots sent to them explaining why is this not available? I then get an email this morning saying they will not honour the lifetime subscription because I did a three day trial. So basically they are expecting you to take a gamble without testing it and spending a lifetime membership without knowing the product. Apple need to give this developer a kick up the backside big time because they are fraudulently advertising a product that they refuse to honour. There are many other AI apps there at less than half the price and I have found one called Wonder and it is just as good and does not give you one legged and one eyed or one armed characters. Buyer beware and don’t even try your customer service because it is that pathetic you wait days before they will even reply to you and then will not honour what is advertised..Version: 3.1.1

✓ Is it worth the money?I’ve purchased the premium on this app to illustrate my poetry. It was a struggle to get the pictures that I needed because so many of the images had issues. Often the overall picture was wonderful, but spoilt by a distorted face or deformed body. It would be helpful if it were possible to change part of the picture rather than have to regenerate a whole new one. After working with the app for three days it stopped working completely. It was at this point that I realised how difficult it is to find a customer support. In the end, I asked Apple for a refund. The next day, the app started working again but was deleted by Apple later in the day. I can’t decide whether to repurchase as it is very expensive, and when it doesn’t work, I would like to be able to contact customer service to ask for assistance..Version: 3.4.3

Don’t like the ads every time I want to generate a photo but something amazing comes out every time so I’m not mad about that. Just 4 days ago when the new update came out, the app would freeze if I pressed update later. Finally I got tired of that happening so I updated it. Now I can’t even get into the app. It will pop up for the notification pop up but before I can even press anything the app crashes and closes out. I have tried turning my phone on and off, I’ve tried turning my data on and off. I’ve even deleted the app and reinstalled it like 5 times. Still nothing. ✓ Please add ratio options.Look, I love this app. Don’t love the new content filter, but I get it. The forced ratio is killing me though, as in I may have to seek an alternative if it’s not changed. The other thing is filters, or whatever the correct term is, need to remain. I’m a halfway decent graphic designer but this is helping me to crank out dusty ideas for some do-good pro-bono projects. Thanks to this and other apps, I’m able to do things I haven’t had the time or funds for, and that will hopefully have a positive impact. To do that though, stuff needs to be attractive and part of that is cohesion. While experimenting when this first came around, I’d hit on a style and work with it, then randomly the option is just gone forever. I’m paranoid about getting deep into something, putting hours into it, only to have the last 10% of the project hanging on whether my workflow will get broken or not. I know it may seem like a unique use case and you can’t cater to everyone, but looking forward to when people realize that this is serious technology, I really think it’ll be a substantial issue. Then, it pops up either saying you need to retry or that you need to sign out? When clicking sign out you can then access the app, but cannot sign into an account. The subscription cost itself isn’t too bad so we’ll done to the developers for not being greedy but why not put the ad on during image generation? This feels like an annoyance to get you to subscribe. TBH I’m getting fed up with the way apps and software are going with ads or subscription models. Ads are just an annoyance, totally irrelevant and subscriptions are a rip off in the end, just charge a flat price for app and when you have something amazing a year or two later release a new version. ✓ The new update problemsI have been using this app for awhile now, just to have a bit of fun. I was really impressed with the quality of the pictures in response to the prompts I created. Unfortunately with every update the quality of images has completely changed for the older styles. It is to the point where I don’t recognize the style at all when using the same prompt. I used to mix styles together by layering images and running them through the style generator to get a new style that was its own and unprovided, but that is impossible now. With the newest update I absolutely HATE the format of my feed. The scrolling is unsuccessful and when I select an image it strobes all the images that came before it before staying on the image I wanted to see in the first place. I perfectly understand why these ads are run, it’s hard to maintain a free app without them. ✓ Wombo is so fun, but..They’ve literally changed how everything works on Discord and their app. Wombot and the Wombo app are two SEPARATE subscriptions now and the Discord layout has changed entirely. I had no idea that these two subscriptions had separated so I bought Wombo in the app. I did not appreciate when I found out I was excluded from the use of Wombot on Discord. I cannot find out how much Wombot is now, but I doubt it’s worth it. I wouldn’t have bought the monthly membership if I knew. There should have been a clear update message or something. This has made my experience less fun and I’m kind of disappointed. I shouldn’t be surprised with something that should be straightforward. ✓ App will not start up properlyI saw a bunch of people using this app on tik tok and really wanted to try it out. I’ve been so keen to give it a shot but the app will not open. And when it does it won’t let me use my Apple account to register and it won’t let me use my regular email to register an account. ✓ Keeps crashingI don’t normally leave reviews. But I find myself curious as to why the app is now continuously crashing? I loved using this app and it was even worth spending the monthly subscription to keep using it. But now it literally crashes everytime I open it up. I’m not sure why? I’ve paid the subscription for one month and I never got to use the full months worth of what I paid for. So technically the app owners owe me money for the loss of earnings. As I was able to draw inspiration for the app and use in my line of work. ✓ Don’t waste your moneyThe annual sub is only $30 CAD BUT the app doesn’t open beyond the loading screen with an error message about user information not being found. It has been happening intermittently since the app was developed and hasn’t been fixed. There are MANY other AI art apps out there that are higher quality and actually work. This one is neat? But I feel like even when it works, the same small pool of image references are used at the base of the AI’s technique. I GUESS every artist has a style? Lol Maybe there could be a ‘level of randomization’ dial? Or maybe the AI is simply just using the same palette for everything it ‘creates’..Version: 2.1.2
✓ Ridiculous censorshipOverall it’s a very detailed and accurate AI art generator. It has lots of options and art styles to choose from. Sadly it’s one downside, is it’s creatively very restrictive, in fact is probably the most restrictive AI art generator I’ve used on iOS. It’s almost impossible to generate any women, even if you don’t use any inappropriate language. Even trying to generate a WWE female wrestler only barely works about 25% of the time, and WWE is a PG product. Also recently used prompt “warrior woman” and first result didn’t work, that’s silly. Such a basic prompt and wouldn’t even allow that. So basically you’ll have a hard time creating art with women in it, so frustrating. Also the word beautiful woman also seems to give lots of errors. For everything else you want to create, such as animals, landscapes, aliens, and everything else outside of anything with to do with women, then it’s very good AI art tool..Version: 1.93.1

✓ So terribleDo not waste your money, when your request to have an input image with subtle changes no matter how you word it, it looks nothing like the original. I asked the AI to create my Caucasian husband with red hair in a grey suit and added an image of him, it created a cool stylish image of an Asian man with black hair in grey suit, it was nice but not correct. Another time I requested a black haired women with antlers on her head, in a green dress in a meadow. It created a weird splodge of blue that half looked like a woman, in a blue dress with trees in a forest and the trees had antlers. I gave up..Version: 4.3.1
✓ Can’t draw peopleAny time you tell it to add a person, (ie human on bridge) it starts to draw a naked person. Which it gets to the end then give you an error. Yet putting in something like decapitation it’ll show the most gruesome, bloody and inappropriate image. You have a perverted ai that doesn’t like clothes but blocks any nudity unless it’s on inappropriately torn apart flesh. This is worse than the other apps that show nothing but globs of flesh and limbs when you try to add a person..Version: 1.92.1
✓ Little to no supportFrom my experience, there seems to be no way from the app itself to seek support or give feedback or report bugs. If you press on the button to send them an email, it will simply restart the app. The delete button is legitimately useless and has been since I’ve downloaded the app (I’ve had it for at least a couple of months). I would love to rate this otherwise, as I’ve had extremely incredible results from the AI itself, and I believe using the full version is worth it for all the art styles and unlimited uses; yet they continually disregard the lack of user support and feedback. ✓ Unfavorable UpdatesThis is my first time writing a review, so bear with me incase it doesn’t sound credible. I’ve been using this app for a while now, and it originally worked really well- the generator used to function smoothly and the style options were gorgeous. I don’t recall whether there was a premium option when I first downloaded, but now there is. I understand the app needs a way to earn some kind of revenue, but ever since the premium updates were added i’ve noticed the app not only works slower but also floods with ads. You can’t even generate a single creation without an ad, before you even get the chance to see what was made or even download the creation. I think if the ads were spaced more timely and the generator didn’t load so slowly i had to exit and recreate, the app would be so much better..Version: 1.80.8

✓ This USED to be really coolTill they went to the Darkside. Now there’s a bunch of new “premium” filters they are only accessible if you are a pro member. And you don’t have access to things like dark mode. Plus! You get to watch a bunch of junky ads mixed in at random timing on nearly every single render pass you try. I used to have to do like 30 before I could tweak it right, that’s a lot of ads! And am I being cheap? Yes I am, because I’m poor. And once again, something that was wonderful that I used to brag to people to download, is another animated billboard with ads all over it. Very very disappointing. Guess I’ll have to move on and find my next diamond in the rough.. I’d be willing to pay a set price of some amount I mean even Procreate does that! ✓ What used to beThis app used to be the most reliable app in the market for being able to create quick and fun AI scenes with prompts. But over the year or two that I’ve had the app it’s been getting stripped of what used to make this app fun… it’s no longer free no matter what the app tells you, it limits you to coin base usage which can be frustrating because often the app won’t load any image at all and you end up burning through the coins, the actual page which you choose an art style is far too confusing now. Also the loading times for images has increased and often I’ll sit there for minutes on end waiting for something to pop up. And often the image reflects nothing of the prompt. ✓ From fun to crap due to greedEver downloaded one of those apps that was free and great, just to have the devs monetize it, which completely ruined the experience? Well this app is exactly that. It was a wonderful app to use until the devs decided to completely screw over their customers by nickel and diming them. In attempt to devs customers to needlessly spend 5 bucks a month to rent features on their app, they are locking new filters behind a paywall, artificially extending the load time for the mostly mediocre creations to finish, adding ads to every couple of art generations, and a huge notice at the bottom of your screen letting you know it will all get better if you just pay them money. It’s a joke. The app is a joke. The devs are a joke. You’re a joke if you pay 5 bucks a month to access previous features that used to be free, but aren’t any more simply out of greed. It’s something to use for fun, not for professional purposes. Paying that much is a ripoff. ✓ Don’t get it nowUsed to be a very easy to use app where you would type a prompt and it would generate an image. They then added different aesthetics to choose from for your image as well as being able to generate things from already taken images so I was really happy to see the app making great improvements, but now it’s absolutely awful. Another app that has just let it’s popularity get to its head and now you need premium for most of it, there’s more ads and unnecessary messages, it’s more laggy and you are very limited in options. ✓ I cant get it to workI downloaded this app because of seeing it all over tiktok. But every time I try to use it, it would either say that it’s having issues or that my download failed. ✓ ErrorI used the free version for a few days and decided to do the free trial and then pay for subscription because I had great results using it.
