✓ Win rate issuesWon’t let me past a 50% win rate every time I’m about to win the game (which would push me higher than 50%) the game declares it’s a draw. Look I’ve had 2 genuine draws where it was just going around in circles but the other 3 would have been wins had the game not interrupted. ✓ Stalemate SettingI’ve played on multiple difficulties and have not been allowed to win due to the games stalemate settings which you cannot disable. After methodically removing all of the computers pieces and then going for the king the game will stop and say it’s a stalemate even tho I clearly will win within the next few moves. It’s very frustrating to play an entire game and finally have the win within reach to then be robbed at the last few moves due to this stalemate setting. Completely arbitrary, when you are down to the king you can move around for an hour and it will never call a draw but when opponent is beat and you are setting up play to finish off it only allows a couple of moves before calling a draw. ✓ The “puzzles” are stupidGot this because i wanted to try the puzzles which are included. I’m not a particularly good chess player, but the first few were so easy it was ridiculous. Tried to skip to a higher level, but it makes you complete the previous puzzles first. So I’ve now played a few hundred and they’re still too easy to be interesting. Also, when there’s more than one winning move (which happens fairly often), you have to guess which one the game is expecting. ✓ It’s a draw!This game has this annoying issue where there is a 50 move limit per game! How absurd is that! After it prematurely ended 3 games that were perfectly winnable I uninstalled it. The game is not a draw until it is a draw! It doesn't matter how many moves there has been! Other than that it was a great game. Please fix this. Despite being hopelessly at a major disadvantage to the Computer and after what should have been an easy Checkmate by White. Regardless if your a beginner or avid chess player there is a level for you to be challenged at. ✓ The truthHello 👋 to anyone that’s reading this, the reason why I made my review 3 stars ⭐️, is that there are a few adds that get repetitive over time, and the hints only get your pieces killed, but on the other hand 🤚 you’ll get better and have more experience in chess and have more of an understanding, there are also mini games that aren’t that hard but if you have nothing else to do then you could use that. ✓ Draws….Overall, this is a good chess game. I have one complaint if the computer takes all your pieces, it plays you out until it gets a checkmate. ✓ Pawn takes pawn from impossible place.On many occasions l have moved a pawn forward to block or capture an opposing piece only to have an opposing pawn capture my pawn that it was in no position to capture. ✓ DrawThis game doesn’t know what a draw is. According to the game, a draw means the king has to move to an inconvenient spot. Not a suicide spot that would immediately result in a win for me, but a move that would trap the king. This was the set up: white king G4, white queen E6, black pawn F6, Black King G6. I was white in this match. Black moved back and forth from G6 to G7 while my queen moved from E6 to F5. White queen on F5, Black king on G6 could have also moved to H6 as well as what he’s been doing, G7. While queen is on G6 and black king is on G7, black king instead of moving forward to G6 could also move to F8 or H8, both of which are inconvenient, but not a checkmate. It has also counted a draw as not wanting to make an attack move. Situation, both sides have a set up, no one has lost any pieces. I move a non important for the moment piece back and forth and the computer, not wanting to make the first move on me, does likewise until it declares a draw. That’s not a draw. It’s the computer’s fault that it let me have a great defensive set up to begin with. A draw is when the king has no choice but to move into a space that would get himself killed, not moving into an inconvenient spot on the map. Please change this. ✓ I can’t believe I’m the only person saying thisI’m a beginner at chess and I was shocked to see how simple it is the problem is but like any other chess game app where it’s so obvious that the person you’re playing against is a bot. The issue that during the beginning you’re rightfully given the option to move and beat the “player” but then towards the end when I’m literally about to win I’m not able to. All can do is just move my checks around meanwhile this bot player can do whatever it wants and if that’s not happening time runs out and you get a pop up talking about how interesting the game was and the choice to start over which is why this isn’t for me. I’m not sure if these other reviews are fake and I wouldn’t be surprised if they all are they are mentioning the screwed “difficulty” like it’s a good thing when there’s a difference between making the game slightly difficult so you would wanna keep playing and just plain cheating the players, players should be allowed to win so don’t bother playing this on your phone where you will more than likely be competing with a robot..Sweet CaitVersion: 1.4.2
