✓ HassleThis app is more hassle than it’s worth, why on earth do I have to enter my license plate details and create an account with all I want to do is pay for a parking space? The only reason I downloaded this is because half of the parking pay stations don’t work only to be met by a very difficult to use app with complicated password requirements, a mandatory account creation, requiring details of my vehicle when all I want to do is pay for a parking space. I think I’ll risk getting a ticket instead..Version: 9.17.3

✓ Can't add a cardApple Pay was set as the default payment, but whenever I tried to pay for a parking, it would say payment method not supported. I tried to add a credit card too, even tried it with two different cards, none of it worked. It just said that it had trouble adding card. What is the point of this app if I can't pay for parking? ✓ AwfulWhat’s the point in entering our plate & info when the meter maids don’t bother to check and will write tickets based on 1/5 of your bumper being “over the line”. When parking streets typically get filled in from front to back… so if everyone is off by an inch there is no choice. also, inconvenient to adjust time.Version: 23.48.1

✓ DON’T USE, IT WILL STEAL YOUR MONEYI originally purchased a 2 hour time slot. I was only parked for 45 min, but thought someone else could use the time if they wanted to. After driving home, I checked to see if the time had run out, but there was still over 2 hours and thought funny. It wasn’t until later in the evening when it still said I had 2 hours left that I knew something was going on. I checked my email and the stupid app kept charging me for parking! There was no way to stop the meter until it ran out of time, but the app kept adding time and charging me for it without my consent. I had to turn off the card I was using for it to hopefully stop..Version: 23.11.0
✓ The worstNot only did this app make paying for parking a convoluted nightmare, I didn’t even park because it wants me to give them my card information. I think not. Then I go to ask them to cancel my account and they want even more info than they wanted to open it. A joke. Not that I had much reason to park downtown anyway, but I definitely won’t be now. ✓ GarbageThis app is garbage. Tried using it to Park on the street around Wells Fargo Arena. Every payment method you try to use it will decline, and then for fun it will suspend your account. All while price gouging on parking at any parking ramp within any usable distance. Decided it was not worth going to the event..Version: 9.19.1

✓ Can’t find historyMy history stopped showing for parked cars. This means if I miss extending while the parking meter is active then I can’t find the spot and renew my spot. ✓ Doesn’t work at allLiterally can’t create a password that this app will accept. I removed special characters and followed all of the advertised requirements, but it doesn’t work. ✓ ParkDSM is trashHot. Garbage. The app rarely works. It regularly deletes my car and payment method. Today I’m trying to add my car and payment method back and it won’t accept either. Using a payment app should be easy, not a PIA. Would gladly take the old meter system back at this point..Version: 23.11.0

✓ I can park in Minneapolis but not DSMOur city seems incapable of simply setting up an app that allows you to pay through your phone or even see spots that are allegedly up and running. I hope that this problem is known but based off of the local news reports, it seems the city thinks that everything is great. I can tell you from trying this many times over a long period of time, everything is not great. That is, unless you want to park literally anywhere but DSM..Version: 9.17.3
✓ Unfriendly App. Poor parking experience.Had to call customer service to just to learn how to delete a payment card before adding a new card. Although Apple Pay is shown as an payment option, apparently it is not an option in my city (so hide it or allow it). FYI - payment cards can be deleted by swiping left and customer service can be reached at 877-727-5457. Apparently, you can text ‘Park’ to 77223 to pay for parking. I wish my city, Des Moines, would look at the awful app ratings and leverage ParkMobile to up their game. Then, maybe, I wouldn’t have to stand in inclement weather at a parking payment kiosk..Version: 24.3.0
