✓ Glitch spoils itThe game is fun to play, however, there’s a glitch that needs to be corrected. I can’t pass a certain level because they give you 5 torpedoes and 5 ships to destroy. Some ships don’t sink on the first shot. It requires 2 torpedoes. Naturally you run out of torpedoes before the mission is over and they offer you 5 more torpedoes if you watch an ad. After you watch the ad you get your 5 torpedoes. But, after you shoot the first torpedo, the warning comes up telling you you’re out of amo again, even though you still have 4 torpedoes left. Then they want you to watch another add. This glitch needs fixing..Version: 2.17.2
✓ Loved it… Liked it… Now hate itHave persisted through many evolutions and countless hours of playing this game. Developers made major improvements and graphics are dramatically better. Gameplay got better for a while until this leagues concept. Okay, maybe it was interesting at the beginning ranks, but it gets dramatically harder and advancement take ridiculously longer, and by black diamond it becomes depressingly hard to advance, then if you stop for a couple hours lose pretty much all you progress, as in HOURS to recover. To get to the top of this final league can take 5-6 hours of non-stop play. Then to top it off doesn’t recognize making it to P1 and you start the rank all over when the clock runs out. Also buying “better” ships gains you nothing in sinking ships. The only thing worth paying for is the ads block. Also it seems to crash every 14-15 minutes adding to time penalties. Used to be fun to play for a few minutes, do some sinking, then put it down. Now it would be depressing just to see how far down the ranks you fell. Earning most of the stuff gains you nothing, buys you nothing. Not sure what the next evolution holds, but I’m done..Version: 2.29.0
✓ Great graphics but,I love this game. The graphics are great. Gameplay is smooth and responsive. There are a couple of bugs that, when fixed, will really make this game a joy to play. There is a bug that when you run out of torpedoes and hit the ads tab for more, you fire one torpedo and it makes you watch an ad for torpedoes. This is fixable and I hope they take care of it. Another issue is when firing the deck gun at planes, you can easily end up firing torpedoes. Also, the levels do need to become more challenging with more ships and planes . I gave it 4 stars in part for the graphics, smooth gameplay, and for the potential this game has. Fix the bugs, add variety and more challenging levels, and this game will be amazing!.Version: 2.17.2

✓ Enjoyable but still a few improvements to makeI’ve been playing this arcade game for a while now and have seen the developer adding improvements gradually which is much appreciated. There are still a few glitches but far less than there was originally. The first thing is relating to ports. When I first started playing ports were constructed bit by bit as you progressed. All I get now is “under construction” and it’s been like that for many months. The second thing is the bonus rounds. If we are going to get a bonus round please give us something a little more challenging. The one I’ve just had compromised two aircraft which crossed paths so I fired the anti-aircraft gun at the right point taking them out in one shot. Not much of a bonus. Strangely enough, I tend to avoid homing torpedoes if possible as it makes it too easy. I use my own skills with standard torpedoes. I use homing ones if fired upon and I need to get it done fast. ✓ Good gameplayThe gameplay is good but there are a few issues. Some missions you get 15 torpedos to sink 1 ship that requires one torpedo. Other missions you get 5 torpedos to sink 4 ships that require 2 torpedos each to do the job. How about a bit of uniformity & logic?.Version: 2.17.2
✓ XP rewards points are not adjust for rankingThe XP rewards have not adjusted for the new version of the game. It is not plausible to pass tho the next rank with only 250 to 2500 points when my starting position in 893604480 to obtain the next rank at 1310720000. Please, correct. ✓ Enjoyable but could be a lot betterWhile I enjoy playing this simulation it does not seem to go any place quickly. It has very little range of targets and most games are over in a minute or less. It could do with a lot more targets but one thing I have found a bit frustrating is that the submarine stays static and no option to dive when being attacked. Also the homing torpedoes occasionally seem to choose their own target rather than the one the periscope is focussed on. Also what is the point of building bases as I can see no benefit from them!!!!! I have built 25 so far but do not seem to be able to utilise any of their facilities. Follow up on 25 May is that the game programme has updated itself and there are still a few aspects that can be improved. One of the main bugbears is that the small attack boats invariably cannot be sunk with just one torpedo whereas you can sink a battleship with one hit. Also these attack boats can continue to launch missiles at the submarine from behind a rock outcrop which makes no sense at all as the submarine cannot return fire. Finally the option to choose the gun should always be available on every mission as it is much better to use this against some of the ships and small boats rather than trying to use a torpedo. Developer please take these suggestions seriously otherwise I see little point in continuing to play this game as I have nearly reached 900 missions and can see little way forward..Version: 2.25.0

✓ Help pleaseThere doesn’t seem to be a way to contact support in the game, so I hope you see this. I finished off port number 25, but when it moved to port 26 something went wrong. It is just the black outline on screen with ‘under construction’ written across it, but the usual button to start building is not there. It also does not have a name like all the previous ones. ✓ Update killed game.There are twice as of any ads now than before. In the middle of playing all of a sudden you run out of torpedoes and have to go into ads to buy them and then even after you buy them which is only five torpedoes it still doesn’t identify that you bought them and you have to go back to ads during gameplay. So with the extra ads, and the ads to have to buy torpedoes you have lost half of your game time play!!!! I am DONE WITH THIS GAME. Just for fun, time how long gameplay and how long ads are per game and see which ones come out to more! how many ads you have to watch per game for the amount of airtime you get on the game. ✓ Why use the multiplier?I have been playing this for several months now. Even got all the ports ( waiting for port 26 to load for over a month). I have always used the multiplier when I finish a mission but do not see the extra points added to my rank., just regular points. How come? Also the next level always states ”coming soon”. Been that way since day one for me. When is that going to change or explain how to get to the next level. Last negative— when you hit a fast moving destroyer and don’t sink it, it starts to shoot back(cool). Bad part is if it goes behind a island it can still shoot through the island and you cannot. A glitch that needs to be fixed please. There are some levels that are really fun and challenging - like trying to shoot down the planes, the enemy submarines, fast moving destroyers, night scenarios, rough seas. Ships not to shoot is a nice added twist. I am 66 years young and this is my go to time killing game. I enjoy it and will enjoy it more when these concerns are addressed..Version: 2.24.1
✓ Graphics are good but it’s become boring.UPDATE: A lot of changes have been made since I last played and it’s a great improvement. The new torpedos, the ships fight back, and now you go after other submarines. Definitely not the old boring game that it was. Game is ok but there is no challenge to it and I don’t see the point in it. There is bug that needs to be fixed, it is when you run out of torpedoes and you can watch an advertisement to get 5 more. After watching and getting the 5 torpedoes, you shoot 2 or 3 and it says you are of ammo again and need to watch another advertisement to get 5 more. I get it, you want us to click the triple score box so we play an ad. It’s cool, you put out a product and want $$$, you have it rigged with a thousand ghost players have us move up two or three, if we hit the ad move us up 20. It’s like a magician, don’t ruin the illusion…. ✓ Some ideas…Still enjoying this game immensely. One problem, though, when, shooting at planes at low altitude, sometimes it launches a torpedo instead of firing the cannon. Maybe a separate button on the left for the cannon? - Compass heading in the periscope view - Increase frequency of underwater rounds. - Add more planes to more rounds for more cannon play. - Maybe a few all plane rounds. - Maybe be able to have the planes, like the ships be able to hunt/attack you. - Make the gun usable against the PT boats Thanks for a great game. ✓ Always it’s about the “buts”Graphics are stunning. Ship models are great. Game is so-so. Relatively boring with a limited number of targets reappearing in the same scenarios time after time. What’s worse is the game forgets that you’ve bought no ads and after a while starts showing them all the time again. When yo try to restore your purchase it wants you to pay again for no ads. Also after a while my game locked up completely and I had to delete and reinstall and found the game had changed but lost all my progress and rank plus all the upgrades I had won over the months of playing.Version: 2.17

✓ Great game but needs modificationsI’m really enjoying playing this game. I’m not sure of the point of the ports and got to No26 under construction?? I’d like a separate control for the gun to shoot the planes down, also would I score points? I would also like to do deeper under sea and maybe navigate the underwater? ✓ Fun game to waste timeThis game is pretty simplistic but fun….IF you go into it knowing it’s not going to grow in gameplay over time. It’s simple. You have x amount if torpedos and mostly x number of ships. A perfect shot will sink one with one hit. If not perfect, it requires multiple hits depending on the size of the ship. Some levels are other subs which seem to follow the same rules (hits by size). Bonus levels are easy. You get to shoot nonstop at flying planes. All you need to do is clip any part and they’re toast. Yes, I’ve had some issues with it getting stuck on torpedos when using a gun on missions with ships and planes. But not often. Bottom line is this game is a simple time killer..Version: 2.25.0

✓ New update made some improvements… but missing some things.Gameplay is good, but it’s nothing crazy to begin with. New update made the Home Screen nicer, not sure about how some of the awards at the end of each mission are calculated though. Any chance of getting Zebra Station/Base/Area anytime soon…? I’ve racked up over 3M port points or whatever and I’m just getting closer and closer to Rank 18 and my 500th campaign with no sign of another base to build… Also, what about adding some return fire from the planes? They just do slow loops around… kinda makes the bonus levels a little too easy. Or, maybe some sway to the crosshairs due to waves? ✓ RedundantI’m curious why this game doesn’t increase in difficulty. I’ve been playing this game for quite sometime, but the levels never change in difficulty. It’s redundant. You just shoot these big slow moving ships. Sometimes there’s two sometimes there’s three. Every once in a while, you get a few speed boats. It seems that with such good graphics, those that designed this game, would make it more challenging as you go up in levels. It’s a shame. It gets really boring doing the same thing over and over. Whoever designed this game. Do well with you well to heed this review. Was it your intention to keep it this simple every level? It’s not challenging at all. ✓ League Info Needed & “Z” Port FinishedI have played Uboat Attack for quite awhile and enjoy it. (1) Recently, there has been an addition of “Leagues.” The competition is good, but it would be appreciated if the developer would provide the scoring matrix for the games. It has happened many times where there are multiple ships sunk with perfect shots (and no extra shots needed), and yet there is a drop in the game ranking. However, the next play could be to sink ships with no perfect shots and the rise in the rankings. There is no way to strategize while playing, as it is impossible to know whether your play will cause a drop or rise in the rankings. (2) Early on, it was possible to build ports as points were earned. The alphabetical ports were completed until “Z,” where the constant notation showing is “under construction.” Completion of the final port would be appreciated..Version: 2.26.0

✓ Game locks upI have fully enjoyed playing the game. However, I loaded the game and paid to stop ads. I played until I reached a point where the entire system locked up. I actually deleted the game, reloaded and started from scratch. The system did not recognize that I had paid for no ads. I never seemed to get to a point where aircraft became targets. After a week of playing, I again reached a point where the game announced Victory and everything is again locked up. I like the challenge of timing torpedoes, upgrading the system with points earned, etc. but do not like having the system lock up..Version: 2.17
✓ Getting better, but…Gunboats can fire straight through rock islands. Hmm. I want some of THAT ammo! Torpedos hit “submerged” rock well off shore of land masses. Is that on purpose, or a minor bug? Scenarios are fairly repetitive. As competitive levels increase, the missions are identical. They need to become more challenging. I have no idea what half the points, icons, etc. actually mean. When I use the app on another platform it’s start from scratch time. Up until very recently one would have to restart a mission because torpedo tracks would not propagate or detonate. Either that or steering was inoperative. Maybe that fixed on this last update. Suggestions: aircraft just stupidly arc around. How about giving them some offensive capabilities? Maybe start a scenario submerged and then surface to finish up. It’s really rare that one runs out of torpedos. Perhaps get more realistic with firing 4 tubes, followed by some reload time. Graphics are quite nice. My sick mind wants to see life rafts and sailors jumping over the side. Aircraft launching off the carrier and coming after me etc. Mix it up!.Version: 2.25.1
✓ Has a lot of potentialI’m guessing this is an early version and it will only get better. There are some glaring deficiencies but it’s still entertaining. It definitely needs a game tutorial of some sort it’s purely launch and figure it out as you go right now. It’s not complicated but still needs a “how to” menu. Why upgrade deck guns that are not available during the game? And what benefits are gained by building bases? Not to mention surfacing and submerging abilities or lack of. I do like the graphics and periscope views along with torpedo trajectories. I did spend the $4 for ad free gameplay which improve the experience a lot. There are still ads you can voluntarily watch for upgrade bonuses. I also see a large promotion for a premium Gato class submarine for $9.99. What exactly are you gaining by purchasing this? I really hope the VooDoo developers don’t abandon this project and keep tweaking and updating because it’s definitely fun but can be improved. ✓ Good, but needs a little extra detail.Game is ok but needs some work. The anti aircraft guns mostly just knock planes from the sky into the sea but doesn’t destroy them meaning I have to skip the level watching an advert. Port 26 is unavailable. Insufficient risk. Torpedoes should fail sometimes. Maybe the ability to submerge to avoid incoming fire? More targets. Fewer perfect shot points on battleships. Higher points for small fast targets or heavily armoured big ones. There are royalty free submarine sounds available that would add atmosphere. All that said, I’m on level 320 so it must be doing something right. Edit Jun 30th ‘23 Game is improving. Extra details gradually being added. Couple of suggestions, taking out a small boat at maximum distance with a perfect shot should earn more points than a bigger/nearer vessel. Taking out fast small boats with perfect shots should also earn more. Why don’t the battleships fire back? The planes aren’t aggressive enough. They would relentlessly divebomb a surface ship but would have to search for a submarine, so maybe a timer before the aircraft start attacking the sub? Damage incurred should be deducted from match winnings? The algorithm that governs how players rise and fall in the rankings needs tweaking. I spent well over half an hour playing, many perfect shots, spent most of the time falling down the table..Version: 2.25.2
✓ Still freezesIt takes awhile before you start seeing ports and planes to shoot down, but it’s fun albeit repetitive in the beginning. I got to level 11 and it froze. I updated and now everything is fine. Like I said, it’s a bit repetitive, but fun. It would be pretty cool if some of the Uboat hunting defensive ships could actually drop depth chargers and kill you. That would give urgency to quickly having to sink ships before you yourself was killed. Now, you can pretty much take your time and shoot an endless # of torpedoes until you sink a ship. No real urgency, no need to be calculating with the number of torpedoes. Still… fun..Version: 2.17.2
✓ Always interesting and challengingI love this game! It always stays interesting as it gradually increases in challenges. It lets you learn gradually as you play, and unlike many games, it never just lets you “hit a wall” and get stuck unable to progress. The only criticism I have is that without a tutorial, some fundamentals of the game are not clear. For example, the”Zoom” function in the Armory is a relative unknown. What does it do for you? My guess is that it governs the acceleration of the sub, but after upgrading a few times I’m still not sure. Still, I enjoy the game every time I play it. ✓ QuestionI am currently on the 8th level (Diamond) level and strange things are happening to me. I cannot multiply my mission results by 3 as I have always had, I cannot pick anything from menu prior to the mission, the number of ships/planes on any mission have decreased dramatically, which in essence is telling me that the higher the level, I am being penalized the higher I go (which I would hope is not true). Would you look into this and let me know when they are fixed, but in the meantime I refuse to play your game until it is fixed..Version: 2.26.0
✓ Quickly becomes repetitiveGraphics are okay but very limited as a submarine simulator. You can’t position the submarine you’re operating relative to enemy targets. You are parked in one position and all you do is aim your periscope in various directions then fire torpedos. I guess the torpedoes fire out of the periscope. Interesting concept… The importance of building “ports” early in the game is not evident. Seems confusing. The various missions quickly start repeating and boredom sets in. You could imagine enemy landing parties on the beaches of islands and collect triple torpedos to fire at the islands to destroy those imagined enemies. Sad that you might have to do that to stay engaged in the game. It quickly becomes boring as your skill level increases with no new challenges to face..Version: 2.23.1

✓ Needs improvement.This game needs serious improvement. I agree with all of the reviews. I paid for no ads and I have to spend half the time watching (or ignoring) them. For now I’m not interested in this game. I’m not going to delete it yet because it has potential to be at least a good time waster. I’ll check back from time to time to see if it gets the improvements to make it worth keeping. I gave it two stars because the graphics are pretty good. UPDATE: ok now. When I got this on my iPhone it worked perfectly….. I uninstalled it on my iPad and restored my purchase and now it’s working perfectly also. Changed my review to five stars. ✓ Brilliant but look at battery issuesI love this app. It's based on an arcade game I remember from the 70s/80s. In those days, the playabilty had to be good as the graphics were, well not great. You've managed to keep the old school playabity but added bells and whistles. Fair play. Please, please, look at the battery consumption of your app. It's the worse I've ever seen. Several times worse than my Sudoko app with bright screen on all of the time. My iPad batteries would have been wiped out within 1.5 hours from 100% charge.
