Great app… when it worksLately I’ve been getting a message that says “We couldn’t log you in right now. Please try again.” I have a fairly important message from my doctor and I’m trying to read it and I keep getting this message. This has been happening for the past few weeks. If something here is just getting overloaded and it’s not letting me in because there isn’t enough bandwidth then that needs to be resolved. Please fix this, and thank you in advance..Version: 10.5.1

ProblemThe only problem I seem to be having is when I pay my bill ONLINE, it asks if you would like to pay a specific bill or (recommended) let y’all decide which bills to apply it to.. I got a phone call several weeks ago about one of the $4.75 bills I owe, said she was going to turn me over to collections for that amount,,, WHY when I pay you, you cannot apply $4.75 to a bill, then apply the rest of the money to an older account also? This makes absolutely no sense at all to me.. so if this email will make any difference at all, can you start paying the older ones, then start applying to more recent bills? Waiting for a response please...Version: 10.1.4

Not as user friendly as it could beThere are way too many key strokes to delete a prior message. It would be great to just swipe left to select delete. Also, messages do not have a print function for those containing detailed instructions for a procedure. And there is no copy so I could copy and paste to print. Systems should be for the ease of user. Not for the ease of the developer..Version: 10.1.4

Wellness VistsMy appointments are scheduled immediately after meeting with my doctors. The My Ochsner site is very good and I enjoy using it to stay up to date with my medical information. But if these emails are generated by a computer, you need to have some way to override the system. Stop sending me wellness appointment emails. I have a regular schedule set up with all my doctors so I don’t need these reminders!.Version: 10.2.5

Incorrect lab resultsI had an appointment with Dr. Oban yesterday and had lab work done last night at 8 o’clock I received a call from a Dr guild on him relief medical advisor from Ochsner saying that my potassium is that a critical level and I need to go to the emergency room immediately which I did they redid my blood type the lab for ridge in correctly so I spent four hours in emergency room because one of your doctors miss read the amounts are you in laboratory miss handled the results I am not very happy. CommunicationI would give this app five stars, but I have an issue with communication. I sent two messages that were either not seen or ignored. They were important questions I needed answered before my visit and they were sent at least three days before the appointment. Also the person who called to remind me of my appointment wasn’t hired for her personality. Maybe that’s a good thing for you, I don’t know..Version: 10.4.2

MyOchsnerI am new to this site and although it’s impressive in its scope, at least in my case it struggles to be current. I had to have a procedure delayed and yet the site does not reflect that. It was also difficult to figure out how to request my doctor to contact me. I finally worked through the steps, but something as basic as having a personal question or concern to relay to my doctor should be more obviously posted as an easy option..Version: 10.2.5

Appt scheduling stinksYou can schedule an appt faster online than on the app. You can never just call your Dr. you have to call the switchboard, who calls the Dr, who may or may not call you back 3 days later. Dont miss the call, or you will have to do it all over again. And dont bother getting a primary Dr with Ochsner, because you will see them one time, and may never see them again unless you want to schedule sn appt 3 months down the road..Version: 10.2.5

Needs improvementWe received a message telling us our appointment had been rescheduled from the middle of June to the the muddle of May, literally the next day. We make the hour drive to learn that the doctor was not seeing patients on the rescheduled day. Then scheduler called and said she would reschedule us because the doctor would be out on our originally scheduled day. I understand scheduling can be difficult, but I’ve never had problems like this before..Version: 10.2.5

FrustratedMy biggest complaint is it’s impossible to get appointments through this app. I have been trying for weeks to reschedule an appointment due to family emergency. The doctor said he would take care of it and I have yet to get my pre-op appointment. I’m getting frustrated as I still have a bubble in my eye from a detached retina surgery back in July. Please tell me how to get it scheduled if calling and requesting on the app doesn’t get it done!!! Frustrated.Version: 10.2.5

Virtual VisitThis visit went very wrong today. I had signed on 10 minutes before 3 PM. Then there appear to be a delay connecting with Ochsner so I restarted the process. The second attempt went through however, Tommy, Dr. Posas‘ office MA reached out by text to say, it was cancelled because I checked in late. I would ask when this happens, especially someone who’s been trying to schedule this for more than two weeks that a simple phone call to me would have clarified everything. Holes in the appLack of human contact is a real negative on the portal. There are times when portal choices are inadequate. Examples fall into appointment, prescription and message choices. If an appointment needs to be virtual instead of in office it takes a good deal of messaging to get that confirmed. Prescriptions have nuanced. Dates, expirations, duplicates, all cause misunderstandings. Example: order written for three refills. One each month. Said prescription EXPIRES and becomes null and void. The administrator on your end misreads request and forwards the expired prescription back to the patient. The patient calls the pharmacy and it’s catch 22. Trying to get hold of any live person is a futile effort. Many many things in healthcare requires a response to correct a HUMAN ERROR. But portal doesn’t allow for that communication. Personally it’s very frustrating. I am not well. It’s so difficult to try to work within a system that doesn’t make a place for me. Even tried to communicate through chat. It said nobody is available. Lots of opportunities for improvement..Version: 10.2.5

Terrible service to patientsThe doctor as the ability to block you from responding back. I had serious health questions about my Urinary system that were constantly getting under minded. I finally got a quick bland response an was blocked from texting with the doctor. I’ve already put in a complaint about this doctor but I doubt things will change. Legal action seems like the way these people want you to go. I mean who blocks their patients from asking questions. It’s not like I would be able to call because everything is automated responses or sends you to a front counter person who has no idea what’s going on.Version: 10.5.1

App stinksThe previous app was more user friendly, and since adopting the new app, I have yet to have a successful virtual visit with my immunologist. I had 100% success with virtual visits with the previous app - it was simple and easy. After several unsuccessful attempts to have virtual visits with physicians, I was told to contact customer service who would talk me through it. I did, but while I was able to establish video contact with my physician, there was no audio. Customer service was no help at that point, because once visual was established, the customer service call was dropped. I reported this to customer service and was told to contact them again before my next virtual visit, because it worked so well the last time..Version: 10.5.1
