✓ Events are super buggyIts great to play without having to buy premium coins however the event keeps bugging out and with no way to save progress (meaning if you uninstall reinstall you lose everything and have to start all over) so when when closing and reopening app and restarting phone do nothing to fix issue and there are no updates you are just stuck waiting for the game to start collecting coins again..Version: 2.0.8
✓ Frustrated by the bugsSo I really like this game but I am frustrated beyond belief with how buggy every special event ends up being. I cannot get in contact with anyone from development for support. The Help button and links just direct you to Netflix’s general customer support who have no idea what I’m talking about. ✓ Not enough daysThere aren’t enough days so the game is very predictable because the tasks are repetitively the same thing over and over again. ✓ Fun, but …Cute game, and it’s fun. I’ve been playing for some time now. But I’m on Day 26 in the game, and I can’t remember the last day that something significant to the game happened. It’s just the same thing over and over, and the story updates have stopped coming. What next?! Also the Mine Nest has a glitch in that it has an exclamation point (!) to indicate I should be able to level it up, but I can’t. ✓ Stopped making moneyThe islands stopped creating money. The green on the circle isn’t moving. Tried closing the app, restarting my phone. Still not working. - The next morning it went back to normal generating coins. But now the “Event Game” has done the same thing. I’m #39 on the leader board 2 days in, with 2 days left. ✓ A game should be fun not frustrating1 - When you spend the rare currency on a chest and you don’t get what was guaranteed, it’s extremely frustrating!!! I immediately deleted the game because I’m not playing to feel frustration but fun. 2 - The pace of the game is very fast then very slow, then very fast but shorter and very slow but longer… and so on…. I expect that from in-app purchase games, not from NETFLIX games! 3 - I love the events but again, it’s not an in-app purchase game, and those event shouldn’t be a competition to who’s gonna get the best reward. It’s frustrating and unfair for the player that spends his time and energy there, and it’s unnecessary for the company who owns the game because they don’t make money out of it..Version: 2.0.7
✓ Netflix game but still designed for payThe design of this game is still really meant for a paid version but because it’s a Netflix game you can’t pay, so progress stalls considerably. You literally can’t keep up, because the cost of upgrade per dragon/nest goes up with each upgrade, and you never really seem to get more potions to keep up. And as you go through the game, you have to be at a certain level before you can automate, but because it costs too much to upgrade, you can’t automate at all. It’d be a great game if there was a mechanism to actually make more gems because other than waiting for some, which is never enough to do what you need, then you’re kinda stuck because you can’t pay for them, which is clearly how the game was designed. I think the developers should be testing for user ability, you’ll see it’s not functional on a non-paid basis (ie as part of the Netflix subscription)..Version: 2.0.8
✓ Never updates and brokenThe developers have known about the broken game since it came out and still the coin wheels stop working and ruin the events. ✓ GlitchyI actually love this game but every so often the nests in my events stop generating coins. This defeats the purpose of the event and stops you from being able to progress and bring rewards back to the main game. Additionally this seems to happen only when I am in the top 10/20 in the leaderboard. If this stopped happening I would genuinely have nothing bad to say. Update: The game is now stuck and will only open to one part of your world. You can’t then scroll away from here or collect from nests. I have both closed and deleted the game and upon reopening the same issue occurs - 2 stars.Version: 1.0

✓ Lots of BugsGame is frequently ruined because of bugs. One example is that during the current event, the dragon for the first lair has not appeared. Another problem during this event is the treasure chest that appears every couple of hours will not open. When the game isn’t being glitchy, it is a pretty decent game. I especially like that there isn’t any options to use real money to advance quicker in the game. Because of that, I give the game 2 stars instead of 1..Version: 2.0.8

✓ Soft LockedI enjoy the game but I am soft locked from progressing. To complete my goal I need more gems. To get more gems I need to complete my goal. It seems like you’re meant to be able to get gems through micro transactions/Ads, but there is no way to do so. The “+” on the bottom right of the gem counter takes you to the store where everything costs gems. It’s unfortunate and I hope it can be patched out before I uninstall and move on..Version: 2.0.7

✓ Make it make senseShop items & event deals are overpriced. Since this game is part of the netflix subscription, you can’t make in-app purchases. However, everything costs too many gems and there’s not a reasonable way to earn gems in comparison to how much everything costs. The game has potential. ✓ Dream event bugI love this game but during almost every dream event, I have at least 1 dragon stop collecting dream tokens. It usually ends up being one of my top earning dragons so I end up losing my rank. ✓ The Event broke for my kidsWith no way to fix it, the little event dragons just stopped working and their timers froze at zero. No way to get it working, the kids just lost all the effort they put into the dragons for the dream event. ✓ Bug ruins the gameI’ve encountered the same issue as someone else. During an event, my automated dragons have completely stopped giving gold - this totally kills my ability to maintain my leaderboard position, or remain competitive in the event (3rd place, at the time the bug occurred). Netflix support was no help at all, as they basically just advised me to wait and said that they would look into the issue, along with telling me to check back daily and see if there is any change. I tried updating, restarting my phone, reinstalling the game - all with no luck. It’s absurd that this is Netflix’s handling of the event, because it completely invalidates the time I’d spent to gain my ranking. I feel like it was a total waste of time to even attempt to contact support, as well as basically spitting in my face by saying that there’s no ETA on a resolution and to just wait; since events are time limited - this is no help..Version: 1.0

✓ Love the game BUT….I love the game! But it’s very frustrating whenever you’re playing the events and your dragons stop collecting gold. I’m currently playing in event and I’ve only been playing for about a week and I was doing relatively well. I was in the 70s so I was gonna get some thing when the event ended in 13 or so hours. But I just logged in to check my dragons and they’re not collecting any gold and I checked my status and now I am at 103 which means I’m no longer in the running to get any special event items. So I just spent the past four days working on the event for nothing. I took some screenshots of everything, but I don’t see where to upload it to speak to support in the game. Other than that major fallacy it seems OK I’ve even tried restarting the game and restarting my iPad. None of it worked..Version: 2.0.8

✓ Stops earning coins.I’ve been driven to give this a one star review just out of pure frustration. As idle games go Dragon Up is not too bad. It has its flaws but you can overlook them for the simple fact that you don’t have to pay real money to progress ( if you have a Netflix account, that is ). However what cannot be forgiven is that fact that the game restricts the amount of coins you earn in EVERY. SINGLE. EVENT. What is the point of an idle game of the game does not allow you to generate coins?? Even if you collect all the cards possible in an event you can never really challlenge the leader board as the game just stops earning coins??? ✓ Doesn’t seem to work correctlyWanted to love this game - I enjoy idles like this and thought the premise was fun. However, acquisition of coins seems unpredictable and downright wrong sometimes. I’ll be able to add max hearts one day, then only in increments of 10. The double time 8 hour bonus needs to be refreshed several times a day, not sure what clock it’s using. Disappointed overall. The first few days had a story and felt rewarding to complete. I’m now on 14 and basically just stuck. I’ll minimize for a whole day, come back to find I can only add a handful of hearts to my nests when the coin earnings should be so much higher..Version: 2.0.8
✓ Bug-ridden game that wastes your timeAvoid, avoid, avoid. As of this writing, it has been over a year since the last update. It is obvious that Netflix and/or East Side Studios are putting zero effort in to this game. Even though it is “free” (with your Netflix subscription), it would be nice if the game wouldn’t invalidate the time I spent progressing in a timed event with random total stoppage of an automated dragon’s collection. It’s only been 3-ish weeks and I’ve maxed out the days on the main story, too, with MORE DAYS COMING SOON! ✓ Great until you realize it was meant to be a f2p gameIt was great in the beginning nicely paced and enjoyable but around an hour into the gameplay it slowed and that was when the cracks started to show it was developed to be a free to play game and repurposed by Netflix I say this because there’s a button for the classic tycoon 2x multiplier and because it’s now a premium game you can always have that on another thing that indicates it is another pop up giving you free in game currency but it really feels like it should play an add and the final most annoying thing is the premium currency that you can only get at the end of a a day that takes about 1ish hours to complete you get at most 70 gems per day and the premium chests cost upwards of 200 gems to acquire… there are also Limited time deals that prompt you to spend 2000+ gems yet there is no easy way of getting those in the time you have for the deal all and all it’s a fun game but it’s painfully clear and annoying it was developed as a free to play game please update it to address these glaring issues and I’ll up the review.Version: 1.0
✓ Good concept bad executionThe game itself is fun but impossible. It constantly blocks you from progressing by giving you challenges that require the rewards of the challenge.
