✓ Not how pool is playedThis game is not how pool is played at all. In a real game of pool If u sink the eight ball before u have sunk all ur other balls u loose, in this game it lets u have the ball in hand n put it anywhere u want. Also in a real game of pool whatever ball s u sink when u break that’s what u r, unless u sink one of each then u get to choose. This game does not do that. In a real game of pool when u scratch the opponent gets to have the ball but it must be placed behind the line and u can only hit balls on the other side of the line. This game still lets it be ball in hand n let’s u put the ball wherever u want n hit balls behind the line. I am a very good pool player on a real table so I thought I would enjoy this game, and I did until all the rules were being broken. I am now deleting this game..Version: 2.40.0

✓ Ruined with pathetic adsThe gameplay and design are actually decent (apart from the star challenge when the shots defy physics), however, the game is absolutely ruined with the worst kind of ads. Not only do you have to endure the stupid ads that I think absolutely no one looks at, but it takes 4, 5, even 6 clicks to get rid of after the initial ad has finished its awful intrusion into your life. Some of the clicks are on a timer meaning minutes after you close the ad, you’re still interacting with it. I’m not even sure this is legal (if it is, it shouldn’t be). Anyway a generous 2 stars - 1 for design and the other for gameplay. Unfortunately a minus 200 stars for the pathetic advertising model. ✓ Bloated with useless junkVery nice pool play. Yes. But. Progress is so slow, you will get old. You’ll spend most of your time endlessly opening chests of useless rewards which , maybe in the 100th year, will give you enough to upgrade to next table. Or you can pay real money. Progress is not based on quality of your play. It’s easy to win. But that will bring you close to nothing. So it gets boring very quickly. ✓ Really looks nice & starts fun but…This appears to be a well-made game, and it’s fun to play for a little while. But if you have actually played pool in real life, you discover very quickly that the way the ball caroms and bounces is not accurate at all. Then you start to see that somehow the other player you are playing never seems to scratch, even though the graphics that show where the cue ball is going to carom , always helps them but somehow your ball scratches all the time. Secondly, someone needs to fix the rules of this game because if you hit my ball into the pocket on the way to hitting your ball into the pocket, it should be my turn with ball in hand. Yesterday that very thing happened where I lost my turn because the opponents ball went in first. Somehow today I’m playing someone and they hit my ball in first and then their ball went in, and yet they got to retain their shooting. If they made some improvements, this could be a really great game, but as it stands now, it’s not very good.Version: 2.39.0
✓ Ads… Because Life is Eternal…The app used to be decent with limited ads that came into play when you wanted the bonus EXTRA from a chest. Yet, you are provided with some discouraging words for doing so as if life is dependent on a few extra bonuses from a chest. I could past that though it was annoying to be basically called a d.a. for not accepting more digital goodies. Now I go to even START to unlock a bonus chest earned from a victory (when the 3+ hour timer needs to begin)and there is a new forced ad for 30+ seconds more of your life which is closer to a minute,actually. Multiply that times over and over, you’re literally paying with your life to play a game. A video game… You can’t put a price on your life… unless you’re playing life-draining games like these who don’t reimburse you for your ability to dedicate some of your time on earth to it. ✓ Rng basedThis game is completely rng / random and they use the slowest in game tables known to man kind and the “players” (which are actually just bots) are really bot like as out of the 10-20 games I have played they never pot the black as this can happen frequently irl and whenever the bot has to hit a wall shot 99.9% of the time it goes in even if you may think that the angle is way off go play on a real pool table trust me the shock will get to you..Version: 2.25.0
✓ Fun but…If you’re playing just to play it’s fun, but it’s definitely a rip off if you’re wanting to place rank. You rotate through… maps/campaigns? Not sure what to call them, but there are themes for the tables where you earn cards to get enhancements on your cue and level up through the leagues. And you rotate through them for an allotted amount of time. You packages that can level you up with coins and gems, but as soon as they switch maps/campaign, you have to purchase all over again. Then they make you pay to redeem rewards… call me crazy, but it’s not a prize or reward if you have to put money on it. And the worst part, is when playing against a competitor, if you pot a particular ball, especially more than one, so say 3 stripes, but the next shot you make is a solid, then you’re a solid and your competitor got 3 free balls… it makes me livid..Version: 2.23.0

✓ ImprovementsThere are some small annoying things that should changed. The chalk at the bottom often makes shots from there difficult. This could be removed and just use the chalk icon under the name tags, and the “hurry up” comment should be removed or at least supply a snarky reply. That being said the game is fun and the physics seem good at first, but soon you find that scratches and completely buried cue positions happen way, way more than in the real. The AI definitely plays with the physics, sometimes for you, most of the time against. Playing against an AI opponent is tedious, especially since I’m pretty sure it’s decided who’s going to win before the break. If they would stop fudging the physics this game would be great..Version: 2.32.0
✓ It's ok. Could be a lot betterLike other reviews, the accumulation of cards and pieces makes no sense. If the game asks me to use a wildcard, I just do it as I have no idea how it works. The coin / gem system is lame. Everything costs something. For example in challenges I win one of three games and in order to claim the prize I need to pay 100 gems. That's not a prize but a purchase. Why would I purchase 2000 coins for 100 gems. It takes ages to accumulate gems. Currently there is an award for obtaining 300 gems. That will take quite some time to complete. Im only getting a wild card. The wheel spin is another farce. You can eventually get the 200 gems if you spend 12,000 or more coins to spin. Don't tell me sink 20 more balls for a spin but then that spin costs more coins. The reward playing this game is almost non existent. If my reward is to tap my way to early arthritis then this game does that. Pop ups to purchase are annoying and the are you sure prompt (another click) is equally as annoying. If I clicked No or close, that's what I meant. I'm not changing my mind. I may just find another pool game that keeps it simple. Like I said, it's ok but it could be A LOT better. ✓ Very unhappyI do love playing the game. But I have now been screwed out of 1000 gems. I save my gems to make larger purchases in the app and use my saved gems. And yes the do have a place on the app to send them a message, I did so a week ago but I never heard a wood back from them. I sent another message just now, let’s see if I hear anything. So with all of that said do not buy anything that costs actual money. You will probably get screwed and start randomly having stuff pop up and then you have no choice to say no I don’t want to use my gems to buy it. This last time it was 2000 or so common wild cards. I already have over 20,000 common wild cards, I would have never pressed buy now for that. Remember don’t spend real money on any of the packs they sell with coins, gems, wild cards, pool cue parts and treasure chests because you will have problems with stuff popping up and you being charged gems for something you never bought. ✓ Addictive but win % inaccurateWin rate algorithm is totally useless and can’t work out simple percentages. At a given point after a number of games, When I lose a game I lose 0.6% of my win rate. But when I win I only gain back 0.1% ensuring your win rate gets lower and lower unless you’re a master and never lose. Play this every day but getting increasingly frustrated by the win percentage being lower than it actually should be. Just reset it after 1,500 games. Have just won 16 out of 18 games which is an 89% win rate. Game shows only 82%. Graphics shown to promote the game are much better than in the actual game too. Misleading. Others seem to feel the same as there are a lot of good players that have only played 10 or 20 games for example. Clearly a lot of people delete and reset the data as the win rate get annoyingly low..Version: 2.27.0

You end up playing one or two games of pool then having to wait for a few hours for chests to unlock unless you're willing to spend money to buy coins or gems to unlock them. ✓ Fun but with flaws and strange rulesI have enjoyed this game but have decreased my play significantly. The rules are different from what I’m used to and that makes it harder for me. Also, it allows the same player to break many times in a row whether they won or lost their previous game. Good players derive a significant advantage from having the break. It should be equitably divided based on some known rules. I’ve also noted that I have had to break “loose” racks. Where I learned the game, that required an immediate re-rack. I also don’t like the tricked up shapes and sizes of the tables used, for instance, on the 9 ball competitions. In their defense, perhaps they are correct and using the proper rules, I’m no expert. Either way it negatively impacts my game and so I have decided to play a lot less frequently..Version: 2.25.0

To get upgrade parts in the game you need to either spin the wheel for a chance to earn an epic piece, I've been playing for months and haven't hit the prize once yet. Or you can spend 80,000 buying the pieces, which is a joke the only way to do it is too save the small amounts of money you get from chests and challenges or spend £7 to around £50 quid. ✓ TOO MANY ELEMENTS! Too much going on!I get the impression that this game is an answer to a pool game I kept seeing interactive ads for. That DEMO is what I want: Simple pool, I play myself, just shooting ball after ball, shots are accurate to what I aim. Reading the reviews of THAT game, most complain about the game cheating, messing up the accuracy, especially when it gets more crucial/important. So I avoided that game (it has an "8" in the name, I forget). I've been trying this game for a couple of days and it just harassed me for a review. So, literally, you asked for this. Some reviews complain about getting bots, and I don't get it. I PREFER bots. I'd rather play by myself, but bots are the next best thing. Playing complete strangers is thoroughly unappealing, I don't get why anyone would want to. They could be incompetent, they could be good enough to run the table and leave you a witness instead of playing. One 9-ball mode I had 3 chances to play, two of them the clearly human opponent ran the table, I never got a turn! And it counted towards my 3 tries! I don't want any of this competitive bullcrap, no ranking, nothing, I just want to play. But of course, all that garbage is present. When you win a game, you get a chest of unknown upgrade parts, it takes several hours to unlock. You have 4 chest slots, so you fill them in maybe 10 minutes. Luckily I can still play and accept not being able to get a chest. If I cared about progression it would bother me to not be able to get what I won. One thing that REALLY appealed to me about the other game is the ornately decorative pool cues, some look so cool! Here? Nothing. All these parts are to upgrade STATS on the cue. The look changes so subtly I can't even figure out what looks different. The worst part is that this is all separate from one area to the next! I SEEMED to complete the first area, Greek Isles or something, unlocking Maldives (except every time I finish a Maldives game it pushes me back to Greek Isles, and it keeps giving me Quests it harasses me to complete at Greek Isles. Can I progress or not???). I have one cue for Greek Isles, a separate one for Maldives, and a third for some Star Challenge. Excuse me? A signature trait of pool is to have ONE cue, a cue you get used to, a favourite cue, the cue you play better with than any other. There seems to be ONE ornate cue, the reward if I win enough at Star Challenge, but it's really unappealing to me. Looks like Sailor Moon's sceptre lengthened with a cue tip added. Looks impractical, unwieldy, and gaudy. The Challenges, oof. FINALLY a single player mode, but they're all so nasty! They all require you to sink a ball EVERY shot, with no scratching the cue ball (curiously, one term they fail to use, they use the fairly obscure term "pot" instead of the normal "sink", they call it "pot the cue ball"). Each sunk ball gathers rewards, but if you don't run the table it tries to sucker you out of the premium currency it's stingy with, Gems (and WAY too many for how stingy they are), otherwise they steal most of your earned rewards back! Something like 2/3! The Star challenge just added these darts if you use a specific pocket, it steals ALL of them back. The one time I was able to use them, they were to pop prize balloons. One shot uses 3 darts. Uh, what? Since when can't a single dart pop a balloon?? There's a Butterfly challenge I refuse to play any more due to this theft, it's a pain, each pocket has 1, 2, or 3 butterflies on it, sink a ball, get one. So you have to use THAT pocket 3 times. Ball doesn't drop? Oops, failed the challenge, can't continue (unless you spend Gems you probably don't have enough of. And like any sensible person I refuse to spend real money to get more). And normal pool they use strange rules. In real life, rules fluctuate from game to game, between different groups, depending how casual the game is, sure. ONE rule always in effect is "Sink the 8 ball before it's time, you lose". Not here! Had a couple of games, they sank the 8 ball, it returned to the table at The Spot (where the front of the triangle goes for the break), opponent... loses their turn. ??? With how vicious and unfair this thing can be, THAT'S where it's lenient? The most basic rule of the game? Sure, in a really casual game if the 8 ball drops early we might do that, but it still counts as a loss, it's like we're joining a new game already in progress. Real life, you only get Ball In Hand when opponent Scratches, and then only behind the line (and can only shoot past the line). Here? I don't hit my ball (can't call Safe). Or I hit, but no ball TOUCHES A BAND??? Then place and hit anywhere. The accuracy seems quite proper and fair, until we get to rebounding. It adds a weird curve in the guide after the cue ball will hit a ball or bumper, but it's not even accurate (it adds a curve, but different than predicted). Sorry, only old, worn tables mess with angles like that. I just had a game where I was on the 8 ball, I tried a One Band, Corner shot (what this calls a Kick Shot). Guide shows me at least hitting the 8 with a fairly wide margin of error. Swing and a miss, not even close. One Band and Cross Corner/Side shots are nearly impossible to do on purpose! Even Combos, unless the balls are already perfectly lined up. There's different magical chalks which add accuracy and better guides and combo guides and such, but they're exceedingly rare (to get free, easy to buy with real money) and it's one per game, a game kills the chalk out of your inventory. Finally, bonus videos. Opening a chest usually has one more Extra Reward if you watch an ad, or sometimes it'll offer an Ad to continue a challenge. But 19 times out of 20: "Sorry, no video available". This is digital! They're always available! What? I ran out of room to type..Version: 2.37.0

✓ It’s okayThere are things I just don’t get when I make the exact combo and rail shot I expected and it takes my turn away. It seems to only allow you to call a pocket and accept the shot if you shoot it directly in the pocket without combos, banks or touching anything else. There isn’t any way to call your exact shot so that you do not loose a turn. Otherwise it’s good for slopshot and people that are less experienced. The one thing I hate are those I call the circle people. For some reason many players move their cue only counter clockwise and thus to do a shot they can be right on the ball they want to hit and yet turn 359 degrees to make each shot. It drives me nuts and many times I just quit because I can’t stand watching the cue circles. Do they not understand you can point the cue any direction? Ugh!.Version: 2.36.0
✓ RiggedIt manipulates the rebound direction and roll on speed of the cue ball to make it harder. Intentionally snookers you, especially if you’re winning. My 75% win percentage is falling even though I win more than 80% of the time, frustrating as hell. Q. Why is it that neither the white or black has ever been potted at the first break? A. Cause it’s programmed that way aka RIGGED. But I do like not getting bombarded with ads..Version: 2.23.0
✓ Change some rulesIts a good enjoyable game, but some of the rules in the game don’t apply to the rules in real life pool. For example: 1. I potted the cue ball (white ball) and when my oppent went to play he was able to hit any ball from behind the line, which is illegal in real pool. 2. I did some testing, and I purposely hit the 8 ball into the hole. In real life, that’d be an automatic loss, but instead it put the ball back in the middle of the table and let my opponent play, although he should’ve won the game. ✓ Not enough, for enough money spentWhen you pay money for in-game items, there should be significant rewards. When you buy into a weekly rewards program the rewards should be significant. Everyone loves to play pool. This game makes it easy for people who can’t play pool in real life, to play pool. And play it well. Eventually, everybody gets tired of spending money. This game leans toward spending money. You can only advance so far, then you have to spend money. This will be the deciding factor for people to stop playing. I will get tired of playing this game without advancing and I’m already tired of spending money on this game with not enough coming back. Without enough rewards to keep me happy, I’m almost gone. ✓ Very annoying and hungry for moneyThis game is okay, other than the fact that it’s almost a replica of Clash Royale 😭. ✓ Great game but needs improvementHi great game may i suggest two things? 1- when trying to aim the stick , its not easy it gets stuck sometimes and if the ball is near the edge there is no room to move to aim at the hole, and then as you try , it runs out of time for the shot , please improve. 2- you show a zoom in the app but i dont see that when we play the game that would drastically help , how do you trigger the zoom if you have it already? ✓ Good, but can be very annoyingI like the mechanics and most of the challenges. For a game of pool, it gives me what I want/need. However, it smashes you around the head with so called offers that are just micro transactions for little tangible benefit and less value. The NPC players are a nice way of keeping the game going, but it’s annoying how long they take to make shots, slowly spinning the cue 360 degrees before settling on a shot. The worst is that you can watch the path of the cue ball physically bend on its way from a shot and drop into a pocket if it goes anywhere near it. There’s so many in game currencies it’s ridiculous. So your rewards slots are full so now you won’t receive reward when you play. ✓ Too many bots!I was really into this game for a few days until I put 2 and 2 together to realize that too many of your opponents are not actual players, but bots. That’s fine if you just want to waste some time on a decently entertaining game but you’ll soon realize that your “opponent” begins missing shots that any one should be able to make… especially with the shot guide they provide. You can see your “opponent” line up a shot that will obviously miss and there is no adjustment, they just take the shot and it misses. Now with the addition of banner ads and unskippable ads between rounds, the game is contested. Infinity 8 Ball is missing many of these rules, so while the physics, controls, and gameplay are good, the game rewards players that shoot haphazardly and with a heavy hand. For players who want to shoot pool at that higher level, where the highly accurate and strategic thinkers win, then this isn’t the game for you, or at least until these rules are added. Infinity 8 Ball…please improve the rule settings to include: - When you sink the 8 ball out of order, then automatic loss - You call your shot, except when intent is obvious 1. This is especially true for combos and bank shots 2. If you shoot wildly and accidentally drop one of your balls, you forfeit your turn - When you scratch while shooting the 8 ball, you lose Empowering the user to select the rules that are active would be best. Also, I been playing this game for approx. two months now (several times per day for a couple of hrs at a time) and I always spin the bonus wheel as many times per day as I can. There is a free 200 gem prize on the bonus wheel and over the past two months of playing and spinning, I hit every other prize multiple times but it won’t let me win the 200 free gems. Numerous other games have frozen and taken the cue ball away but I figured you would correct the problem. Since you were last down for maintenance there have been numerous times that a game halts then the game resumes with the balls in different positions. ✓ Better than mostLove pool, i come from the age old yahoo pool era. Gotta say this app is better than most. There are some issues you would have to put up with though. 1. Glitches, balls disappear during gameplay 2. Crashes/disconnections - not too often but it is annoying cause it takes 1-2 minutes of your time 3. Graphical interface slows everything down, you have to wait for things to pop up and sometimes click multiple times before it activates what you’re clicking on cause the graphical videos have to play (offers/stars being added etc) 4. Lots of bots, there are days where you will play with bots all day, and they all play the same way so its easy to tell. 5. Most annoying of all is when you are participating in a challenge and strike out, it gives you the option of paying crystals to continue or - get this - “give up”. And after you click give up, it then asks if you are sure, so you have to click give up again. This is a poor way of getting people to spend crystals by attacking their self esteem. For this, you get minus two stars alone. I dont know about you but it doesnt feel good clicking on give up constantly throughout the day just cause i dont want to use crystals to continue….Version: 2.18.1

So many players still don’t know they can Tap to Aim, so frustrating watching someone drag the cue stick 360 degrees and all the game programmer has to do is to suggest to these players the option of Tap to Aim every time this happens, or just plainly have a pop up whenever player is dragging a 360 to aim, and there are so many rewards and trophies for useless other rewards, none of which are interesting or actually useful, yet there is no reward for a Rack and Run, such as deleting one of the losses from the scoreboard, not even a trumpet sound, if they want to truly make this game addictive, reward it properly, a Rack and Run deserves deleting a loss from scoreboard, so that my winning can come a little higher, make a trumpet sound, make a bell ring, something. I think I was finally getting close to them allowing me to change my name. But I don’t know, others seem to be able to change their names, maybe my account could of been secured and saved. ✓ Cash grabHere to reiterate what a lot of others reviewers say. The game itself is pretty solid. However, it’s severely hampered by a nonsensical reward system and a gameplay that is set up to make you pay to advance. You win chests when you win a match, but the chests take 3-6 hours to open (unless you pay). I’m currently stuck on level 5 because I need 3000 coins to pay for the upgrade. Each chest yields 15-ish coins, so I’ll be stuck here for a long time… The game encourages you to make purchases and watch ads at all steps. And gameplay is slow and often rigged. I like the mini game where you have to pot all balls and don’t have to wait for the bot you’re playing to fiddle around before they make a shot. However, you can only play the mini game once per hour. If I could play the mini game more I would stick around. But this game is going in the trash..Version: 2.18.1

What is AWFUL, are the ads, anywhere between 20 to 45 seconds long, with tiny little X’s that if you don’t hit at the correct angle, repeat by throwing up an intermediary wall which you must deal with again and again and again! They have cunningly clever series of ads which need some sort of interaction, ie, the intermediary wall, and then its another 15-20 seconds to clear the next ad or having to wait while they cleverly circle the x before you can push it, or simply waiting for the x to appear! Complete waste of time, and strings out the wait time between levels. No matter if you go for bonus points, or not, you will be watching lengthy ads that repeat ad naseum! There are many other items that waste your time such as series of buttons you MUST PUSH, then wait, push another, then wait…to get from the ending of one level to actually starting the next level of play..Version: 2.18.1
✓ Starts off good but gets crummy.At first the game is fun, the play is nice and pretty much unlimited, the music is repetitive but calming, and graphics and sensory vibrations are well done. although there's too many side quests and mini games... but after a couple weeks it gets frustrating. You start getting less and less starting breaks (instead of 50/50, you get about 1/10), and a lot of players break and run, so it's a huge disadvantage. The bots are obnoxious and slow down the game a lot. You can recognize them by a very deliberate step motion around the table until they find a ball, almost like the hand of a clock. You'll also start getting many more misses and scratches that are hard to explain. if you're trying to figure out why, the reason is the directional arrows become skewed or misrepresented. I was getting a little irritated, so I tested this theory with a straight edge of a business card. I would line up the shot perfectly, but the ball would go slightly left or right of the intended direction unpredictably. I'm assuming this happens if you don't spend money on the game, but it's definitely shady. It's not just the target ball, the cue ball will carry a different direction than the line shows as well, and then roll way longer than it should, right into a pocket in a way that makes zero sense. Rigging the game isn't going to make me spend money on it, I'll just delete it off my phone..Version: 2.27.0
