✓ Really bad message for young girlsWhat sort of message does this send to young girls? He doesn’t love me because I’m ugly, he won’t marry me because I’m ugly, make me beautiful so he will marry me. These are all the messages in this game. Completely inappropriate for young girls, many of whom are already exceedingly insecure because of the messages they get about how you should look through social media. Whoever devised this did not think it through. Misogynistic, damaging and dangerous!.Version: 1.7.9
✓ Merge studioStarts out a really good game but then after a short time, the game comes to an almost stop. You have to wait quite a long time to recharge. At the start you can watch ads for energy but then again, after a time you can’t even do that. Before long your grid becomes completely full up with no more energy, no diamonds left, no ads to even watch to progress and the cost of making over the characters are too high. On the ad for this game it makes it look as though you can do the makeovers yourself but the game pretty much does it for you which also takes out element of fun. Unless you spend real money, which would only last so long before you have to spend more, you can’t really play this game to maximum fulfilment. My suggestions would be, to lessen the time for recharges & energy. Lessen the amount of coins it costs to do the makeovers, allow players to actively do the beauty treatments. ✓ Addictive but those ads!I like the merging part the best. I like rearranging the pieces and building up to the end result. The design studio is very limited with choices. Sometimes I wouldn’t use any of the choices if there was an option. I don’t mind watching an advertisement to continue playing but they are way too frequent. Also, some of the ads make me cringe. I don’t want to be forced to watch a game where pimple are popped or worms are pulled from a body. I don’t want to be forced to watch soft porn advertising a game. It’s worse then the kids ones. Because in the kids ones you get to do stuff.. in this one you merge stuff and then when your merge is complete you get 10 coins to go - clean face- you click to pay to clean face and it literally has a whole animation cut scene that just cleans the face for you.. then you merge again.. this is the total opposite of the ad I got that made me download..Version: 1.9.0

✓ Money grabI downloaded the game because the ad made it seem like it was a pimple popping asmr game. I can whole heartedly swear it is the complete opposite. It is actually a matching game similar to a bejewelled style, with a makeover aspect which was half heartedly made. Absolutely not what I was looking for. I played regardless, because the matching aspect was enjoyable. It was fun in the beginning but then it turned out to be a complete money grab. I’m on level 23 now and some of the buttons that would offer new “matches” is now not giving them when you try to use your “energy” but instead sends you directly to there pay wall with no option of using your energy. If you were looking for what the ad offered don’t waste your time and don’t waste your money! These ads and games are a complete scam!.Version: 1.8.4

✓ Very disappointedThis is the first time that I write a review for an app, and it’s because I really liked this game (to the point of making regular purchases), but since it has been such a let down in the past few months I deleted this game from my phone. I honestly found this game to be very entertaining and worth the time to play, but it has been left unattended for long periods of time very often during this year. One of the main points of the game it’s to give characters a whole makeover, and in the last few months there’s been weeks where there were no characters to help. Leaving the players to collect a ridiculous amount of coins for nothing. On the most recent update, it was only given 2 characters to help, and that’s it for however long they want. They also took away the only way of collecting diamonds while playing, to instead collect coins that aren’t necessary (since there’s no characters to give a makeover) making players to spend more money to get diamonds and be able play. Whoever is in charge of this game seems to be taking long breaks of doing nothing, and then coming back with TERRIBLE updates to make up for their loss of money during their lazy time. Currently searching for a better game out of the merge company..Version: 2.0.6

This game is some tile merging game, not whatever the ads show of matching up faces to find the right mix to make a new face. The game itself is fine. A decent time waster. The makeover portion is not really anything more than a very poorly made incentive to play more to get more in game currency. There is a disruptive amount of ads and the payment to go ad free is $8 which is a lot when you consider how basic this game is.
