✓ Unfortunately averageThe game is adequate as a side scroller. It’s not as charming, difficult or punishing as the original, but is fun nonetheless. Unfortunately the app is quite buggy, with sound not working at all in game, and only playing out the left headphone in cutscenes. This doesn’t seem to be being fixed. Some of the cutscenes also flicker side to side constantly, making them unwatchable. The game centre screens continually pops up every time the game is backgrounded. ✓ Decent port but needs optimizationI am running an iphone XR with ios 16 so this may not apply to everyone here, but this game needs some major bugfixing for ios 16. there’s constant framedrops in the clinic chapter, restarting a level seems to make me die on my first attempt to nothing, and i’ve now encountered a bug where all the ground textures are missing, and the bug won’t go away even after restarting the app. other than that, this is a really well made port..M4ngo3dVersion: 1.0.1

✓ Not for MeIf it was a normal platformer I’d love it. But I’ve never really enjoyed constant runners and with a game this difficult it just makes it way too frustrating. I have it on the Switch as well but haven’t played yet but I suspect it will be far worse if you have to use multiple buttons. I vividly remember downloading a meat boy game a few years ago that was a normal platformer. Nothing on the App Store other than this one. On the plus side graphics are really good. ✓ Bug reportHello! So I am not sure how to report bugs. In the latest version, with iOS17 update, the game is very glitchy. I have a video of it but nit sure where to send this bug report. ✓ Bugs and controlsDon't get me wrong, I'm happy this got ported to mobile. It's fun to play, but every now and then, the game bugs out and ruins the experience. I've had cutscene audio playing strictly in my left ear since I booted the game up, I've had cutscenes jitter back and forth to the edges of my screen which becomes very nauseating and hard to look at, and the bug that ruined the game the most was the ground disappearing during The Clinic, making it almost impossible to traverse through unless you have the level completely memorized. Not only that, but the controls become frustrating at times and it becomes a struggle to jump and punch when the time comes. I'd much rather have specified buttons rather than having one side of my phone be multiple moves. Again, I know the game is amazing and deserves its praise, but for now, it's getting 3 stars because of the bugs and controls. ✓ Dear Developers,This games art and music are cinematic at most. The controls are decent (needs an update). The gameplay is surprisingly fun and cutscenes feel like your watching a movie. I have four problems with this game though. One: Randomly while fighting the lil slugger boss, Meat Boy (while spamming punch) will decide to freeze in air killing you. Two: Whenever i boot up the game my screen decides to pull a grandma with laxatives and shake violently like its having a seizure. Three: The stages ground won’t load and it displays an invisible texture causing stages like stage 4 to be impossible. Four: This “game” feels like an IP dump. Feels like they found a generic 2D auto run template off of google and slapped it with the super meat boy brand. As some one who’s been around since the ps vita days, this is madly disappointing to me. Also I’ve been scrolling through the replies and have noticed the review team has not been responsive. I am currently on an IPhone 12 max and currently running iOS 17.1. Please fix these issues and this game will certainly go far..YappyYappinatorVersion: 1.0.7
