✓ Good app. Responsive developerThis works great. We had to “cut the cord” temporarily - no aerial or satellite for live TV for a couple of months. But now we have an “aggregator” for live TV, the Apple TV box can take the place of our Freeview and Freesat boxes. When I first installed it, there was a hitch with the Now & Next guide. Most major channels weren’t loading. So I emailed the developer. He emailed back within 20 minutes! Explained there would be a fix later in the week. In fact it was fixed the following day. ✓ Great for Apple TVPurchased this app last week with the intention of using Apple TV as sole method of watching ‘freeview’ channels. Perfect and did the job. Now it’s just had a brilliant update with a great user interface with a much more visual way of seeing what is on channel right now and coming up, so now does the job and much more. ✓ Worked great ,for a whileThis app is so good and a great way to ditch sky but recently it won’t load tv guide. Just get a message about being unable to load tv guide due to issue with network. But my network is fine and after uninstalling and reinstalling, resetting router and unplugging Apple TV still no luck. I’m hoping someone will get back to me and help with some next steps. UPDATE After emailing Adam foot this apps developer he informed me there had been a glitch and an update to fix this was now available. All back to normal a brilliant app.Version: 2.11.4

✓ Thank you for a great appI cancelled an over expensive TV provider which my mother was using just to watch terrestrial TV. The owner of the provider lives in a private Caribbean island but the company doesn’t even have an email address or telephone number you can get through on. So I bought an Apple TV box and it is amazing but it was missing a TV Guide. This app very occasionally gets stuck but overall is phenomenal. Thanks.Version: 2.2.1
✓ TV guide not working since updateThis was the perfect app but since the recent update the TV guide no longer works, just say connect to internet, but I have connection no problem. ✓ Great appWas hpoing there was an app that did exactly what this one does. I was actually looking to use my Apple TV for all my TV as I discovered it used 3W in operation as opposed to my Humax STB which uses 30W in operation. Pros - Like the ‘pay once’ pricing rather than subscription or ad-supported. App auto-refreshes guide when switching to it. App is responsive. Range of layouts are common sense and simple. Cons - can the ‘TV Launcher would like to launch x app’ dialogue box be eliminated or is that a TVOS thing ? Suggestions - I was initially searching for a TV Guide app and only found this when I typed ‘TV l’ as a search term looking for a TV Listing app. This may be out of the devs control but if it could be matched to a search for ‘TV Guide’ it may get more downloads. Dev seems engaged and responsive to user feedback so well done !.Version: 2.9

Yes I’ve got all the usual free to air tv apps but having a central Guide to scroll through makes this $8 app 100% worth it, not sure what the old reviewers are on about this worked perfectly and flawlessly. ✓ The app ive been waiting for!I've been looking for a way of using freeview and other premium services like nowtv, discovery etc on my apple TV for a long time. The biggest issue is the lack of a central TV guide bring in all freeview and pay to view apps in one place. This more than fills that gap. Very quick to load and update, multiple customisation options, and a very smart TV guide, now or next guide and larger overview of all channels. ✓ Solid TV Guide AppBecause of where my TV is in the lounge it isn’t possible to plug the aerial in which means for a few years now I’ve been using my Apple TV to watch Live TV. I’m surprised Apple doesn’t have its own baked in guide but the developer of the app has tapped into a gap in the market. A really solid app, clean UI, easy to navigate. There are some improvements that I’ve requested through Twitter and the dev was quick to respond. On occasion I have noticed “Programme Unavailable” for multiple channels. I’ve closed the app and reopened to no avail but I doubt that’s on the dev side to fix. Really interested to see where this goes. The updates so far have been frequent. ✓ Every apple user should have this app.This app is great, I have multiple apple tv’s across the house and recently the latest model. I travel a lot for business, TV launcher‘s great on the iPad Pro, iPhone as well as Apple TV. TV launcher ‘s interface is superb, simple and slick to watch TV (I prefer the now and next option rather than the full guide, as i find the full guide too busy), if you utilise Now Tv (sky sports and sky cinema / entertainment) its a real competitor to Sky stream at a faction of the cost. I was considering spending money on an expensive aerial to be able to watch live TV in my bedroom. However, this app allows me to utilise what I already own and in effect gives me a live TV guide which will take me to the respective app to watch the content I choose. And it’s not affected by bad weather. The UI is simple by design with lot’s of settings to be able to customise the channels. ✓ On its way!Saw some reviews for this app and purchased as we watch everything through Apple TV and tho filled the missing gap of live tv options. Loving it so far and appreciate the hard work going into it, definitely has the vibe of Apple should already offer this as part of tvOS. My main niggle is that I manually reassigned all the channels from NOW to Sky Go, quite a lengthy process in itself, and after a week it’s all reset back to NOW 😭 I can’t face doing it again, please introduce a feature to either batch change preferred channels or just allow a straight swap between NOW and Sky Go 🙏.Version: 2.9

✓ BrilliantDue to increase costs I cancelled virginmedia package for broadband only with another isp. So lost my TV . Had to go back to freeview but aerial and connecting cable not in great condition so poor signal and loss many channels. Could not afford new aerial. ✓ Very happy so farMy Freeview box broke and rather than buying a new one I really wanted to get everything through Apple TV. For some reason Freeview don’t make a native app but this works really well and is almost as convenient. It is a launcher so it has to switch to the native app but provided they are loaded then this is not a big deal nor does not cause much of a delay. I really like the now and next view too. ✓ Game changer for AppleTV live tv streaming.In preparation for binning off Sky in another 7 days I’ve just pulled the trigger and payed £4.99 for the TV Launcher app. Wow what a bloody good app, after a quick play this has already put the wife’s concerns at ease as was worried about having to navigate through lots of individual apps just to see what’s on. The TV Guide works excellently and also love the Top Shelf functionality showing what’s currently playing live and displaying how longs left. I like the way you can also just show channels from the apps you actually have installed as well as hiding all the channels you don’t want to see. There’s a few channels where there’s an extra process to navigate to what you’re wanting to see but I’m sure we’ll get used to it. ITVX and UKTV Play for example don’t open directly to the live stream you’re wanting, ITVX just opens to its own Live TV launcher which you then scroll down to the required channel/program and UKTV Play opens to its home menu then you navigate to Channels and select the live stream manually from the bottom of each channel page. There’s more to have a play with but so far I’m really impressed and look forward to see what else is in store for the app in the coming months..Version: 2.4.1

✓ Must have app for Apple TVClear what’s on now/next tv guide which launches the native channels app and starts streaming the channel. So much easier than going into each app one by one to find out what’s on. So much so I can now position the main TV anywhere in the living room as I’m no longer limited to where the tv aerial is located as I don’t need it. Would have given 5 stars but there’s an issue with Now TV app which can error (but that’s the Now TV app’s issue not the TV Launcher App) and I’d really like BT Sport integration (but it’s current design is not compatible). ✓ A good alternative for cord cutting but reliance on a third partyOverall this app made me actually purchase an Apple TV 4K 2022, as it provides me with a TV Guide to view live listings in a format I’m used to, whilst amalgamating the subscriptions I use such as Now TV, into a convenient alternative to a sky or freesat style guide. It’s great when it works though and I’ve not had many issues but more inconvenient ones when they occur e.g. recently, when trying to go back from live tv to the tv guide, the screen is stuck on the programme listing of the channel/ show/ movie that you were watching, and pressing back again takes you out of this app not to the guide itself. You sometimes have to force close the app to go back in and go to the guide. The developer has since updated the app with several updates, hence why I’m editing this review, as there was an issue to do with a third party source that would often go down and affect the listings appearing in the app, with a misleading error message suggesting your own internet connection was at fault. This has not happened for several weeks and those problems seem to have been fixed. Not perfect, with those issues mentioned above, and certainly more reliable now than massive well known companies from Silicon Valley whose own tvOS apps are more buggy! Changing my star rating from 3 to 4 due to the fixes, but as with anything in life always room for improvement..Version: 2.1.3
