✓ Ad OverloadThis game is really fun and almost addicting. It is almost impossible to play it because of the constant bombardment of ads, and long ads at that. For those of us who can’t spend money on the removal of ads are extremely frustrated. Why can’t you formulate the game to earn much more of the rewards so that we don’t have to watch an ad every few seconds. As much as I absolutely love this game I am afraid I will just have to delete it if this horrendous problem isn’t fixed. I received your reply. Not good enough for me and the many others who have complained about the SAME thing- ads! I have already deleted the game. You will never get any long term players if you don’t change a few things..Version: 3.7.0
✓ Could be great, however….Too many ads, there are 6 for item packages on the home screen that you can’t get rid of even if you pay for no ads, and they pop up between levels too. Boo. Game item packages are waaaay too expensive for what you get ($7.99 for 10 revives, are you KIDDING ME, should be 3.99 at the most). Boo. Many levels are fixed so you can’t win without watching yet another ad or buying the item packages. Boo. ✓ So many ads!This game infuriated me so much I’m writing my first ever App Store review!! It’s impossible to get past more than one level without being bombarded by ads, and on top of that there’s at least 6 massive buttons on the Home Screen that are intentionally placed where you can accidentally hit them to make in-app purchases. ✓ Solitaire cash Ads are excessive and annoyingI was enjoying playing the game. And I know games have ads. My annoyance and irritation comes from the excessive solitaire cash ads. ✓ Save your moneyThe game is cute & it’s fun. I made the mistake of paying for no ads. That’s a scam! I’m still bombarded by ads & being urged to wait or watch ads. Ridiculous! However, I am constantly forced to exit the app as a result of a glitchy advert with no clear exit button only to find that the advert has been replaced by a black screen. There is absolutely no way to exit an advert without closing the game entirely! Is it really worth displaying these annoying adverts as opposed to reasonable ones just so that people such as myself are discouraged from playing the game? ✓ Ads make game unplayableThere’s WAY too many adds. Every 3 seconds an ad cuts off gameplay and makes you sit through a 30-40 second add. I’m trying to complete a level but I’m unable to play because i have gotten 5 ads in a row, just 3 seconds apart. Not even exaggerating. I would of loved this game if ads were optional. I like games and even feel alright with watching ads if they’re my choice in return for game rewards. ✓ Definite potential!The game itself is great and offers stimulating challenges. I wouldn’t mind watching a few ads to play this game but they make you watch so many ads that you spend more time doing that than playing the game by a long shot. The game and the ads in particular are so glitchy. There is a tune something game with some celebrity Metcalf that has a repeat glitch so when you try to close the ad (early or when it’s done) then it repeats from the beginning. Also some of the ads are of too questionable content, like the ad that shows a pregnant woman getting SA’d. I rarely download games based on an ad but this one was one I took a chance on. ✓ Very Frustrating & Annoying PopupsI paid for the ad-free subscription which stopped all of the external ads which was great. The problem was that after every other level, there would be 1-2 internal ad pop ups (to buy power ups, etc.), which were slow to pop up as well as close. Some of the levels were impossible without a power up. They do offer to get one power up by watching an ad which was helpful but when it’s impossible to pass a level without one, it’s really annoying. At first I liked building the farm by earning stars after passing a level, but then it got to the point that you’d need to pass 14 levels to be able to build again. ✓ Bloated but fun parking gameFirst off, let me say that the game itself is near perfect: funny and challenging but not frustrating. But if you have an older device, it can get extremely sluggish and prone to freezing, especially the menus. And unfortunately it kicks back to the main menu after every level. I paid to remove the ads thinking it might help, and I guess it does a little. The exasperating thing is it doesn’t need to be this way. The game itself is delightfully simple. There’s no reason why my install should take up 750mb. I took an extra star off for being a portrait iPad app that can’t rotate 180 degrees. ✓ Love hate relationshipI really enjoy the levels that are really challenging, but possible. Alas, now that I'm into the 300s levels, I'm encountering the majority of levels that are not possible to pass without multiple boosters, which are ad driven. You can buy boosters, but they are waaaaaaay more expensive than I would *ever* pay. There are no rewards at all. What this game really needs are occasional booster rewards, and paid boosters that are more like $3 bucks for a pack of 10 boosters. My all-time favorite game is Lemmings, and I buy the $3 sale price boosters every couple of months just to support the developer. However the last update they made changed the entire game, and added a whole other layer. I don’t mind the addition so much, except it has really changed the game. ✓ Excellent design but unkind characterizationI’m a big fan of puzzle games and this is a solidly designed and developed game - I purchased no ads almost immediately after downloading because I knew I’d enjoy the game play. However, after playing a bit I became really uncomfortable with the characterization of the farmer - the drawing is playing on stereotypes like missing teeth, exaggerated facial features and a generally unkind portrayal of farmers. I would be hurt and offended if I identified as a farmer and saw this promoted by the developers. I’m going to stop playing to stand by the need to be kind and inclusive in game design, and would love to come back if the developers rethought and revamped the portrayals of farmers. Just now when attempting to play the Farm Jam parking game,I was interrupted with a gross Royal Match Game AD, and sat through that long offensive 30 second ad for the horrible Royal Match Game and immediately a SECOND Royal Match ad pops up, BACK TO BACK with the first ad, and lasted another 30 seconds. So for 60 seconds I was waiting and watching the killing of King Robert. It was disgusting. I am extremely disgusted that the FARM JAM game which is a fun game, a great game, is interrupted with long ads showing the GARBAGE Royal Match GAME ! Royal Match is a GARBAGE GAME! ✓ Update FailI have been playing this game for some time now and the last time I played I was on level 125. So Igo to play the game today with the new update and I am back on level 23. I didn’t play all those times to lose all my progress. The game was becoming challenging and I liked it now it’s boring because I have already done all these “baby” levels. I don’t want to do all these levels again it took me so long to get up to the 100 levels. I would have given this game 5 stars if it hadn’t taken away all my progress with the update. ✓ Some levels impossible.I loved this game and even purchased the no ad version. Most levels are challenging but fun with some thrown in easy ones. However, they throw in impossible levels that force you to either purchase or watch ads to get power ups so you can pass that level. I can see making them difficult or challenging but it is ridiculous to make them impossible without power ups. I just deleted the game after attempting to beat a level after acquiring several power ups (watching dumb ads) and still failing to pass the level. No thanks. I am willing to watch a few ads for rewards. You don’t get anything for watching the ads forced on you between levels in this game. ✓ Like the puzzle, but animal abuse is not a gameThe puzzle aspect of the game is fun and well done. It is a FTP game as long as constant ad viewing and animal abuse are your thing. Up until I bought the “ad free” version all puzzles were doable without boosts. After I paid the game introduced puzzles that require boosts to solve (not through difficulty, but because they were designed to require them so you will spend more money). On top of that the game also introduced electric fences that actually burn animals to death. Animal abuse isn’t “comic mischief” its a heinous crime that is a proven gateway to other crimes like child and spousal abuse. BUT as you progress thru levels they make some of them IMPOSSIBLE to win without paying A LOT of money for hints/helps or watching A LOT of ads to get them for free. Believe me, there have been levels you need 2-3 “hints” to even be able to move the animals. And, their price for buying hints is A LOT more than many other games I’ve played.
