✓ Not free, false advertising!Chapters are not free. I fell for this and started reading one of the books highlighted in their ad. At chapter 18 I had to buy coins to keep reading. The coins are way to expensive when you can buy a fully published book with known authors. I’ll admit the some of the story lines are appealing but not worth the money. Save yourself the time and don’t download the app..Version: 1.1.8

✓ Prices to highI just started reading and it said read for free then I’m asked to pay. These chapters are to short and when I tried to add my credit card it sent red flag to both companies and declined. This really makes me feel like people are being scammed. The book I started reading seem to be a good book but I’m not going to pay anyone more than these books are worth. I know many real authors and their books don’t have all these chapters and books only cost $15 to maybe $25. That’s enough and more than that it’s just a rip off. ✓ It’s not worth it :-(Bound by Fate - Spent $75 for 110 chapters. And guess what? There are 774 chapters to go! 😆😳. And here’s the thing! I completed the 10 videos they allow you to watch so I can save points and continue watching at least for a few more chapters, but even that, they took them away 🤦🏻♀️- when I logged back in, they were all gone! Yes, they have great books, but I’m afraid I have to disagree; they are not well written and edited- words are repetitive. They are not great apps. Yes, you can watch videos for free reading, but you will be watching two videos for one chapter, which are very short. So you will get commercial breaks after a minute. Too expensive indeed, and I couldn’t wait for 3-5 months to finish the book and had no time to watch videos every day just to save points, and they ended up taking it all away. ✓ Extortionate. Would give 0 stars if I could.I did the maths on this one because it irked me so much. A book I started reading on this app has 183 chapters (each chapter is essentially a pov change so pretty short). Each chapter of the story costs 30 coins to unlock, so using that I worked out that it takes 5490 coins to unlock the entire book (30*183). (Stay with me pls 😅) They do have bonus coins included in purchases (though it takes way more bonus coins to unlock chapters than regular coins), and ways to earn free bonus coins in-app, but this still doesn’t get you more than a couple of chapters a day (1 chapter = 30 regular coins, or 150 bonus coins). Anyway, back to the maths: the best deal you can get when buying coins in-app (from what I can see) is 1750 coins for £24.99, so that’s 1.4p per coin (£24.99/1750). If we take the example that requires 5490 coins to unlock, with coins costing 1.4p apiece this means unlocking the whole book comes to a grand total of £76.86. (5490*1.4p) Just to reiterate, this is for One Singular book. £76.86. Absolute insanity..Version: 1.2.7

✓ Not worth $300I read several of the reviews, one voicing the price was high. The reply our price is competitive. (Not verbatim). I read three books in a series each book over 600 pages. Hard cover, all together less than $40 so I don’t think your prices are competitive, it’s called scamming people. Also, the series was a movie that I had watched and the books had to be ordered because the store I ordered them from couldn’t keep them in stock. Plus, their chapter were fifteen to 25 pages long not three. This sight doesn’t let me know how many coins I have left so I can’t tell if I’m being scammed nor do you get credit for reading each day. It gives you a few chapters of a fairly decent written novel but just when its getting good the have locks on the chapters and you have to paid to unlock them and that cost more than buying a newly released hard back novel for the New York sellers best book. The one I am reading chapters are about 15 pages per chapter but it’s only like about 5 pages. Ads take up half of each pages and the lines spaces are double to triple spaces. Many pages only have about 4-5 lines. The grammatical errors are horrible. The people names keep changing and he/him is refer to she/her and I is you etc. So frustrating for all the money you have to pay. You can earn points by watching video and checking in. You could have them marry them move to another character like Madilyn or about Sonya’s journey to accept the boys instead of adding another unbelievable roadblock for Lucian and Roxanne. This app and the writers are looking for an extended money grab with stories that go in circles with the same drama/crisis situation for the same pair over and over again. ✓ ExpensiveThis is by far the most expensive reading app out there. Far more expensive then real books, and the chapters are very short. I will not start a new book once I finish my current one. It should not cost 500$ to read 1 book!!!!.Version: 1.1.4
