✓ Fun… at firstRivals can be fun if your willing to spend hundreds of dollars on it. You can’t really upgrade your team unless you pay or spend hours to play to get enough money to buy a pack. Honestly kind of overrated from some of the reviews I've seen but when you start it’s really fun and don’t really expect anything. Ive spent a really long time on it and I only have a below decent team and it could be way better than what it is now. I recommend that you save storage on your phone and save your rage for another game and don’t download this but if you are willing to spend a lot of money, time, dedication, and effort then try it or just try it and you might like it but don’t get your hopes up..Version: 1.2.0
✓ Terrible game!Terrible game, it’s all about money in this game. You’re not rewarded for being good at the game. In order to improve your team you need buy packs with real money. The currency you earn can only buy 3 packs and everything that comes out those packs are the worst overall in the game. Do not download this game it’s awful. Don’t waste your time and money on this game. To the developers and the NFL that made this game, give us more ways to improve our team without spending real money. All the other games are gated by players you need to buy out of the packs. We can literally only play the computer and 1 leaderboard. All the other leaderboard games you need to buy certain packs to get a player that unlocks that. The in game currency you earn is very time consuming to earn as well, and even the games you play against the CPU is capped at 10 and you have to wait 1-hr to get more games. The leaderboard you play vs other people is capped at 5 and you have to wait 3-hrs to get new ones. If you’re lucky enough to unlock the other leader board games those are capped at 5 for 24-hrs and the opponents you play have stacked teams because they paid for their teams. Everything about this mobile game is all about money and hide behind a paywall. The days of just grinding and being good at a game is no longer rewarded..Version: 0.8.2

✓ Needs workGood game overall but the solo mode brackets make no sense in terms of division winners with proper seeding for the AFC as an NFC team. The NFC bracket makes total sense while the AFC bracket only makes sense for seeding and not division winners. For example, I’m currently playing where the Texans have the 1 seed meaning they won the AFC south but the colts then have the 2 seed and the jags have the 4 seed. 3 teams from the same division can’t have home field advantage. It’s impossible. The 2, 3, and 4 seeds belong to the winners of EACH division depending on record, not just record alone. So that needs fixing, plus, I can’t put any of my players on the mythical market. It doesn’t allow me to quick sell them and prompts me to put them on the mythical marketplace but then doesn’t actually let me. It just says here’s where you would put them but you can’t. Fix these two things and I see nothing else wrong with the game. Maybe besides putting a player up on the marketplace for 99k because that is insane.Version: 1.2.3

✓ Crashes all the time collecting rewardsIf you paying to collect rewards watch out so far out of the 6 months I’ve payed I’ve gotten a premium player once. I even set my alarm to collect the points. Today same thing went on took for ever to get my points and with in 1-2 mins sold out of the premium players. They don’t even have anywhere to complain too either. ✓ AwfulThe running back and quarterback don’t run fast enough to get past the line of scrimmage and the passing game is terrible. None of the receivers can get open and the defense will jump across the field to block your pass. I was really enjoying the game at first but the next day trying to play was horrible. The beginning of the game is super easy but I kept playing and I’ve been shutout 5 games in a row losing 0-21. Please fix this game it’s absolutely pay to win only giving 60-69 overall players for every pack. Fix the circle concept because that is the worst part of the game especially starting everyone off with a top quarterback that can’t pass accurately five yards in front of him. ✓ Squad Ranking Rewards and GameplaySquad Ranking Rewards need to be expanded a little further. Being ranked 101 or close to 100, just barely missing out on a lot of Gold, and getting put in the same Tier as every other Squad doesn't seem fair in comparison to Squads that put zero effort forward. Gameplay is very Repetitive and CPU Defenses seldom make plays. I'd like to see more fluid Gameplay mechanics because this game feels very clunky when you play it at times. Endurance needs to be changed from an every play factor to a game-long factor. For example, if you run the ball and your RB gets 40+ yards, starts doing a light jog, and gets tackled short of the goal-line, the next play my RB shouldn't have the Stamina to do that exact same play again with zero consequence. If my Endurance is still fresh at the beginning of the game, some of my speedsters should be able to finish their runs to the Endzone if they break off a big play. Lastly, if Defensive control or Live PvP can ever be added to this game, I feel like it should for a more competitive factor. This is a much better game than Madden NFL Mobile for a quick thrill but there's a lot of work to be done outside of the Team-Building factor..Version: 1.2.1

✓ Lag *UpdateThe lag has been pretty bad since I started playing, but todays update has made it considerably worse. It’s pretty much unplayable on my device with all of the players stuttering around the screen, I’m using a iPhone 14 Pro Max. Nice to finally see some new plays though, though I couldn’t keep playing to see how many were added. It would be nice to have more choices per play. Update April 24 The new update is not good.. I understand and agree with making the player ratings 0-99 instead of arbitrary numbers, but the game is significantly and frustratingly slow now. Players don’t get in to positions you except from previous version to make plays. I figured reducing the ratings would keep play the same and change the rating scale, but this doesn’t seem to be the case. My all stars play like rookies now. The lag/jittering is slightly improved but far from gone. The newest update feels like you’re playing an old video game emulator at 60% speed. This game hooked me early on and has a lot of potential to be fun, and I am trying to be constructive but I am losing interest with every update..Version: 0.8.0
✓ Little to no progressionI started playing a couple of weeks ago. I won the Super bowl when 10 energy for the regular season was available and I received a 95 or so Cooper Kupp plus a couple other 85s and a 90. Ever since then i have obtained little to no progression. 9/10 tournament requirements I do not meet because I don’t have set players (idk what they call them) and If i can get into one every opponent is too high level. Packs are too expensive, not nearly enough rewards even with the new pass, and the regular season hasn’t rewarded me since the update. Also it gets pretty boring playing even 2-3 games in a row after a while. Super pay 2 win and barely any content. The only reason it’s a 2 is because the throwing mechanic is great..Version: 1.0.1

The problem with the game is there is a lot if inside developer card trading. The developers manipulate the market for their own benefit. They sell you packs that can get u better cards. However u can find urself spending alot of money on packs and not get anything. Its too hard for a noob to win any prizes. This game is set up for inside developer trading as well as market manipulation. The developers of this game are playing as well and they are the people who get the best rewards as well as manipulate the marketplace making it harder for noobs. ✓ It’s a pay to play scam!!!!They want you to spend money on packs of player cards. They want you to believe that you’ll get top tier players. Even if you pay for top tier players, you still have zero chance at top player rewards. Like most NFT platforms this one seems to be operating with NFT inside trading. The online marketplace is another scam. They value their mythos higher than true market value. And you can’t withdrawal any deposits you make. You can only withdrawal through an Uphold account. The amount you try to withdraw is hit with a major “fee” or them skimming your total. They don’t explain what the “fee” is or why it is what it is. If you want to play, enjoy,….just don’t fall victim to the hype of buying cards for good players..Version: 1.2.4
✓ Good, efficient simulation system mired by STINGY prize structureI gotta give credit here, the game itself, while very grindy, is a decent bundle. Games are fairly quick, things chopped for simplicity aren’t missed, and when you add new players you see and feel the immediate effect. They even have a slick marketplace but buying/selling players where you can earn actual $. HOWEVER, the prize structure for events is just atrocious. Only the top few hundred have a shot at ANYTHING of value meaning you cannot advance your team after only a short while. I’m not sure if the devs are only chasing the largest of whales or they just haven’t expanded the structure with the growing player base but regardless, whether you’re relatively new to the game or have been playing for months, maybe even spent money, you’re in the same bucket - outside the prize pool and grinding for nothing. Even the month-long events where you earn specific currency to purchase special players, there are only a few hundred available so when you actually earn enough, the marketplace is sold out WITHIN SECONDS of refreshing with scant few options left. Beyond frustrating to grind and actuality achieve, but then have nothing left in the marketplace. Promising start, horrible stewardship and no way the strong player base continues..Version: 1.2.4
✓ Just really not that greatI wanted this game to be fun and enjoyable. It was only that way for the first week or 2. The shop prices keep going up, in terms of gems needed to purchase a pack. And the odds of getting a player to progress your team are pretty much nonexistent once you finish the first week or so. Gameplay isn’t that great, defenders are able to deflect any close passes, defense also has unlimited speed burst. My 101 tyreek hill with a 30 yard lead on the defense will get caught every single time. In all seriousness madden mobile has went downhill over the years but it’s stayed on my phone and been at least semi entertaining for YEARS, this game is getting deleted today after maybe a month. If you want to get really good players you either have to spend money or play the game but you cannot get to the spot a lot of players are at without spending loads of money. In the game there are people who do the tournaments and who have teams that are so overpowered that there is little chance for new guys to even have a chance at beating them. This makes the tournaments much more hard and less enjoyable for players all around. The game takes forever to progress and for a mobile game that is ridiculous. I believe there is also some balancing issues along with some slight issues in terms of gameplay. The game honestly has a good idea and has potential but the developers just seemed to waste it and make it a cash grab project. ✓ Great game, terrible customer service.First off let me say that the game and the gameplay itself is fantastic. I’ve had a great time playing and I’ve spent a lot of money because I’ve enjoyed the game so much and it’s been worth it to me. The customer service however gets 1 star from me. They replenish the fuel for the day at 9:00 AM central time. I log on every morning to get my events out of the way to start my day. Last Thursday I logged on to play my events and they did an update. Not an hour before the fuel replenished, not in the middle of the night when the servers had the least amount of traffic, right there in prime time after the fuel replenishes for the day. The game crashed during my event and I lost my fuel. I reached out to customer support immediately asking for my fuel back, and it took them 4 DAYS to investigate and offer me help. By that time the event was over and I had been knocked out of contention for the rewards because my game during update did not register my score. They offered me two rare card packs as compensation for this error, which is not even worth a quarter of what I would of received from winning this legendary event. You are in fact able to build a decent team without spending a dime like I have but the new update has your receivers walking their routes, the defensive line swallows up your quarterback in about a second and a half and when you run, the camera zooms in too far and takes away your peripheral. Even if you could see there and see the defensive players coming, they’re already diving to seal off any edges to could have hit with your running back. ✓ Don’t play and support this companyThis game I’ve been playing since beta and it took them 3 weeks to finally get back to me on support. Ignored several emails and by that point affected my ability to compete for one of the biggest prizes to date. Unfortunately doesn’t seem to care about player base only enough to keep the old ones happy. They don’t care if you leave since that’s what most players eventually end up doing. Save your heartache and don’t spend in this game. It’ll take you $500-$1000 to even have a decent team and that won’t even give you the best team. Market fees are 14% when you sell items.. sounds reasonable but adds up when your selling something for a couple hundred. Jonathan is their only support guy on discord and I feel for him, he is around negative complaining people all day so he’s essentially grown numb to it and become passive aggressive. ✓ Lots of Potential, DisappointingLots of parts of this game need a rework. A defender should not automatically deflect a pass just because he’s in the passing lane, it’s nearly impossible to make a pass, especially once you add in the absolute randomness of the passing system. If you throw more than 10 yards downfield, the pass ends up halfway across the field 7 times out of 10 with an 86 overall at QB. It doesn’t feel like football, you spend all your time begging the game’s AI to make a block for you (of course not) or give you a catch on a 50/50 ball (more like a 0/100 ball). This is all while theoretically being rated significantly higher than the other team, but somehow your players never actually make plays. RB’s don’t break tackles enough, WR’s dont catch unless they’re wide open and the ball is thrown inside their helmet, the QB’s are not accurate enough to be fun. Please rework the mechanics so this game can be enjoyable without shelling out money..Version: 1.1.2

But I will not change from one star until the developers decide to ACTUALLY FINISH their testing before releasing updates. I have lost in game currency after updates due to glitches in the game. More importantly, they make changes to the gameplay WITHOUT giving an option to opt for previous settings. For example, today an update was released and it drastically changed the camera angle (more zoomed in allowing for less field vision) when you have a player running with the ball. The update was made without any ability to change the camera and it is making it much harder for me to win games. TERRIBLE developers and customer service. Great game. Additionally and more importantly, the game is fun, but I have never played a game where it costs $1000s to be competitive. This one does. ✓ Fun at first then repetetiveIt’s quite a grind to get good players if you don’t want to spend $. That being said the game is okay to play but passing mechanics are horrible beyond 10 yards even with QB and WR rated well over 100 and open by 5+ yards. Not only are the DBs and safeties ridiculously fast and agile about blocking passes and intercepting the ball randomly targets a spot within a huge circle that makes accurate targeting impossible. Also the maximum throw for any QB I’ve seen is maybe 40 yards downfield and that’s being generous. Kicking mechanic is not great but manageable until you get into long range attempts. You don’t get to play defense at all. In most scenarios winning against better rated teams comes down to grinding rushes to the outside and tedious clock management strategy. Offensive play calls are limited to short pass, long pass, run options - you can’t even flip the direction of the play to create mismatches. All in all it’s fun to build your team and get through the first season and your first few events / league level progressions but then it just becomes a tedious grind of repetition to advance..Version: 1.2.0

✓ Terrible gameWhen I played the game the guy can’t run that fast. The receivers can’t catch. You can’t QB sneak. The kicking tool goes way too fast. The blockers are terrible. When you throw a ball to your receiver but it’s somewhat in their reach they just all of a sudden stop and don’t care. Also a quarter shouldn’t last two minutes. It should be 10 max, 5 min. There is a lot of work to be done. I would love to see league play soon! Looking forwards toward the improvement. There should also be an option at the beginning of the game where you can choose heads or tails. This game can’t go forth with kicking off 1st and 3rd quarter. Also, 2 hours to wait? ✓ Not as good as you think it isI played this game for quite a while… at first glance, it seems like it’s more based on skill than it is power level (which can be bought). I was glad of this because madden is strictly based on what you can buy. I was beating teams on this platform that had power levels 1,000 points over mine! Then, I decided I was going to buy an upgrade to get a specific quarterback. As soon as I paid the money, those teams that were even 500 points above my own started winning!😡 No matter how careful I was with my quarterback, his passes would leave the circle and fly into the hands of the opposing team. ✓ Pay to win but decent game designI really enjoy the passing mechanic which leaves you feeling that you completed a pass rather than simply pressing the corresponding button for an open receiver as in the Madden franchise. I haven’t enjoyed the pay to play features such as paywalled events which require you to obtain specific types of player in order to participate. Purchasing packs is one way to obtain these players, but mostly ends up being a money pit as you receive constant low end duplicate players. I tired participating in giveaway events through discord and twitter to supplement my team. I was hoping to see what a F2P user could do to supplement their team. After a period of interacting with social media posts to help Rivals with free publicity, my net gain was one mid grade freebie. There could’ve been a second after Rivals X account posted a challenge which promised to reward whichever user who guessed the final score of the ravens/bengals game the closest. I guessed the winner correctly and score within four points only to watch the prize be handed out to some random who was off by double the points. The game limits your competitiveness based on how much you spend and even freebies somehow end up in the hands of the Whales in some effort to placate them..Version: 1.1.8

✓ Great game to kill time but stagnant with the mundane pay to winThe game mechanics is there the visuals are nice and crisp for what it is. Easy to navigate where controls and and activities provided are concerned. However the stagnant duplication of cards is where I’m drawing the line. This is a pay to win I can safely say that considering I’ve dropped between $50 to $60 dollars in this game. BEWARE of the ridiculous amount of duplicate cards with rare quality. Out of the amount I’ve spent I’ve only gotten 4 good players. 2 of them I’ve gotten close 4-5 duplicates and the other two I got one time. The fact that there is a substantial amount of rarity cards they like to show you in the market places should make it obvious that the algorithm they have in place doesn’t make sense and it’s made to hinder the candid progress you want in a game. Also the fact you cannot trade cards between you friends or groups you can join within the game gives you the awareness of the restricting nature on obtaining good reliable cards. Also the currency used to purchase in the market place is very hard to obtain but has plenty of options in the store to purchase for money..Version: 1.3.1
✓ Upgrades ruined itGame was good early on, but updates made it near impossible to win anybody with more rating than you. Also you don’t get random rare or epic cards from player packs unless you spend money. Wouldn't recommend this game.Version: 1.3.2
✓ THROWING MECHANICS MUST BE FIXEDI love almost every thing about this game… but the throwing mechanics are just ridiculous. if you dont precisely tap your finger in one spot when snapping the ball you’ll automatically throw an interception because it throws a short pass. there’s also times where you’ll throw a seemingly great ball that just goes completely off randomly. the throwing has kinks right now and it has potential but at the moment it’s costing me a lot. i’m putting money into this game and i don’t do that often, don’t make me regret this by cheating me out of major games because you cant fix something. its getting annoying being forced to burn possessions..Version: 1.2.4

✓ Great concept…mediocre deliveryThe game overall is a lot of fun to play. The issues I have are around AI and progression. It seems like there is a fine line between a team you can pound on pretty easily and will only score on one random drive on you and a team the has an all-star at every position on defense who will blanket every route you have available and a d-lineman who racing at you who didn’t get blocked (or blew his blocker up). There doesn’t seem to be much middle ground. Expanded playbook and maybe team specific playbooks would be nice and the game is SCREAMING for a replay feature. Hope the devs read this. I can’t tell you how many time I wanted to watch something back and maybe in slo-mo (the gameplay is pretty fun).Version: 1.1.7
✓ Fun but tiring quicklyFun game but it’s a huge money grab and the power levels appear to mean nothing as sometimes a team will play terrible and have a high rating and the next team will be 1-5 and have a lower rating and will starch my team. Also, although I have a good QB with high accuracy, nothing is an accurate pass and most everything is picked off if I try to pass it beyond 10 yards. Even passes within 10 yards will be terribly inaccurate more often than not. The spot of the ball is also terrible as it’ll clearly bump me up a few yards or drop me back a few. It’ll also count negative yards even if it’s after the end of forward progress which makes the game infuriating and impossible to enjoy..Version: 1.1.8
✓ Not worth the headacheFor the longest time I couldn’t think of a football game endorsed by the NFL could be worse than Madden Mobile but I’ve learned to no longer be surprised. For starters stats are apparent to mean nothing, it’s rare for 90 overall to even beat their 60 overall man. It’s actually terrible. Don’t even worry about juking or spin moves either they never work and slow you down. In a NFL game you’d assume you can scramble as a QB right? Well not this one not that the game developers knows how to program a high overall offensive line to actually perform well anyway. Like every other terrible NFL endorsed game this one is another pay to win game, this game isn’t played to be fun or enjoyed. It’s programmed way to poorly. It’s a cash grab from just another greedy game company. I could go on, this game is terrible. Its performs poorly, overalls mean absolutely nothing because every play covers the exact same regardless of the overall matchup. The game also tries its best to ensure to not let a tackle take you out of bounds. It’s clear because of the interaction between your player and an invisible wall they clearly hit when getting tackled. Don’t bother with this game. Madden mobile is somehow better..Version: 1.2.3

✓ ComplaintsGreat game and I have just a couple complaints. First is the fact that there is zero competition, anyone could go 100-0 first try without fail. This makes the game way less fun. It would make it much more fun if you could play against other people or your own friends! Another minor complaint I have is that the running is basically walking and sprinted is speed walking. In other words, SLOOOOOOOOOOW. It would be better if you could actually run. Another thing is that I think it would be. Better if there was a button that you could HOLD DOWN in order to sprint.
