✓ RIP off, bewareThe app doesn’t work. Completely useless. The first time I tried the paid version, I got a message that the servers were overwhelmed and to try again later. This is for a paid app, remember. I did try again. Three times. The second time, same problem. Then on the third, it seems like it would work. Except that the results were completely off. I don’t mean a few mistakes. I mean the results are not making any sense and they are not even related to the questions. I asked for a refund, and guess what ? Not refundable ! ✓ Frightening — capable of concocting complete falsehoodsI’ve been interacting with this AI for the last few days, testing its responses for accuracy against facts that I know are provably true. For example, I asked it to tell me about a certain specific person I know well, with no chance that it could be anybody else. In fact, I asked the same question three times in a row. Each time it came back with ridiculously false information, and it was not even consistent with itself. I ask what name it goes by several times. Each time the answer was different. I asked if it makes up information. It categorically denied that it does so. Eventually, it became very snarky, and accused me of being a relationship saboteur. I asked if George Santos lied on his résumé. The answer was, no he did not lie. That is provably false. I asked it to describe the situation in the Russia and Ukraine war. The answer was that it could not do that because they are not at war! So is the source for this the Kremlin? These are just some examples. We already live in a political culture that is using “alternative facts“. This is the final nail in the coffin for any dividing line between objective truth and complete falsehood. ✓ Almost there but not quiteI was very excited to see that there’s a mobile app for Chat GPT, but this is not what I was expecting. I understand that this type of project requires a stream of revenue however the price is not worth the goods/services in my opinion. The lack of features and inaccuracies that this model ‘provides’ leaves a lot to be desired and it seems like they set up their welcome screens in a very predatory way in an attempt to ‘guide’ you to just starting the monthly subscription, similarly to how Fortnite did and got into legal trouble. ✓ False sources with incorrect dataAsked AI to provide information on topic including the sources there was no such article even though there’s a Time magazine.(FAKE) Sometimes it can completely made up stories, and sometimes it will give a true story, but change some very important facts in the story, which then left it completely false. This is a terrible source and would not pay money for it. Depending on your searches, and what you’re asking, it will stop giving you sources altogether. It changed its algorithm because I was asking it for information it didn’t want to give? Or that was against their narrative? So this is obviously somehow politically backed, even though it suggested doesn’t track anything. It doesn’t store any of your previous questions, and down at that you’ve received to refer back to it it’s gone after a couple of hours. I think the free version is good enough for small requests information like how and with what do you fertilize Blueberry bushes? You may have reword questions over and over to get the information you’re looking for. When I asked Aunt for the same information twice within five minutes different information and these were numbers that should’ve not changed. It doesn’t want to answer any about current events, doesn’t know, political information, refuses to give out information for science related topics like chemicals burned from a train recently. BUT I have paid for premium and after 48h of usage here is my early feedback: - no link between any of your requests making usage really messy and unproductive. For example “Please make this letter less formal” will return a stupid result even if the letter was provided by the chat 3 seconds ago. - typing field really small. Impossible to correct mistake. I end up coping / pasting from notes my requests - your history disappear randomly (sometimes even after a few minutes) = not acceptable - no ability to have a line break by typing “return” = make a real mess and therefore can’t make use of bullet points style requests. - Antique interface - impossible to submit file or data or any elaborate request with external data..Version: 1.1.1
