✓ Non-Delivery of food orderedThe new phenomenon where companies who take on couriers, to deliver food that in some circumstance, don’t deliver the food, neither the company who hire these couriers take any responsibility, in case of a non-delivered order. In this case Uber, who are very loath to give the customer access to any help to recover funds already rendered, if orders remain undelivered? Thus when I applied to PayPal relating my plight returned my money instantly, that’s why I always use PayPal for such transactions. This new phenomenon has created an employment opportunity for whole plethora of people who might want to make a bit of money in their spare time, which is good. Yet the companies who employ these people should control them in a responsible manner and be cognoscente of the paying customer to have confidence that the transaction through their aegis is completed and if not, then to make services available to assist customers to explain the circumstances or compensate them for losses they have to bare because a rogue courier who may have purloined the goods …? This is not happening, and gives one little confidence in these companies not supporting customers the paying customer more vigorously, is how they seem to be operating at present? Thank heavens for paypal , who helped me out this time and returned my money promptly too?.Version: 8.52.1

✓ LOVE PAYPALI have been using PayPal for many years, and I make many, many online purchases. Before setting up PayPal, I was forced to cancel my credit card several times, due to giving my credit card details to companies who were scammers and having to make claims through my credit card provider for goods not received or not as advertised (always China based companies masquerading as US or Australian and charging in USD)! Since I have been using PayPal, I have had similar disputes with those type of companies, but they have always been quickly resolved by PayPal, with a positive outcome. ✓ Easy Peasy!Simple, quick, and convenient! PayPal offers a variety of services, which are all very simple quick and convenient to you. These are the most user-friendly services offered for money transfers, paying friends or family, depositing checks, receiving funds, adding direct deposit; this list can continue if all PayPal services were listed. PayPal creates a very user-friendly mobile App, so your money is available within a few clicks. Not to mention their security and member protected information. PayPal makes me feel secure paying online when I can choose PayPal during check-out. I have peace of mind when using PayPal anywhere and everywhere. If anything mysterious shows on my account, my issue is resolved either immediately, or I’m easily able to contact PayPal support to assist with my issue(s). They respond in a timely manner, happy to help, and resolve all issues/discrepancies with pleasure. I absolutely love PayPal and all supporting services. ✓ I love this appSo I usually don’t write reviews but after what just happened I knew I had to. Recently i had plenty of my platforms hacked because I used the same password for most of my platforms (stupid yes I know they’re changed now). I had changed most of my passwords but had forgotten to change my PayPal password and that led to some issues. Well yesterday when I logged on I saw three payments I didn’t recognize because I only use PayPal to pay my Disney+. Well I looked into it and decided to report it as a payment someone else set up. I wasn’t expecting much from PayPal but within less than two hours I received an email saying my case had been resolved and the money taken out had been refunded as it was determined as unauthorized payments. The amount of relief I felt after getting that email was great. So yes I 10/10 recommend PayPal for online payments and shopping. Also don’t use the same password for all your platforms lol. The only thing I could think of to make the app better is if they would send an email or text whenever another device logs into your account. So if you’re deciding whether or not to get PayPal do it! ✓ OTP BugBusiness account - From time to time when I try to login I am required to have a OTP sent to my LANDLINE phone number, rather than the mobile phone number on file. More often than not it’s sent to my mobile, but when it insists on sending to my landline, this means I cannot login to my account since a landline cannot receive a OTP via txt. I know there is a call option - but I am 99% of the time not in the office and this cannot pickup the landline phone. I find this varies from device to device, but not always. It is very inconsistent. I also only use 4 different devices to login to my PayPal account - and have done for the best part of the last 8 years+. Please can this bug be investigated? Other than that - great app. Does everything I need it to do. ✓ Great Payment Service - safe and secureOur very small business, run by two technology scared 60 something’s, find PayPal very safe, reliable, and secure. We have had a couple of refunds, product disputes, and international suppliers go very smoothly, and without too much delay. Transfers to our bank accounts here in Australia happen next day, despite PayPal advising 3 to 5 business days. We have used both the iPad App, PayPa Herel, and now the online portal, and have found the support service very friendly and helpful, when our equipment stopped working. Paypal Here was great as it accepted lots of payment types for a very low fee. Overall, we can’t fault PayPal 😀.Version: 8.35.0
✓ Overall goodI find this app makes our life easier and the purchasing a good experience since to un can almost have everything with not struggling as they give you options in payment methods. I am very grateful to PayPal for this as has helped me to save money by giving me time to recover from having runout funds in my account at some points . However I won’t have any account with PayPal as it looks like it’s a nightmare and the systems are not trustworthy making the customers very unhappy. I just do the basis’ and simple transactions it seems they have better operational systems. So far I am happy. Had a bad experience with them but I could understand them eventually so still good for me . ✓ The only pay app I trust but,,,,I have been using PayPal for many years and for the most part you can’t beat the protection that they have. Out of over a thousand transactions I have had maybe a dozen disputes. Out of those disputes two did not go in my favor which I still don’t agree with the decision. The first dispute was I paid $30 for an item from a vendor within the U.S. and never received an order confirmation and ultimately never received the item. I physically called the company and never got anyone on the phone and only got a pre recorded saying that they are backlogged with orders and are doing their best to get orders filled after waiting months I filed a dispute with PayPal and after a month PayPal got back to me saying that they got no response from the vendor and if I wanted to escalate the dispute I had to respond within 7 days or the dispute gets thrown out, well during that response time I was on vacation in the Mojave desert camping in my RV riding ATV’s so when I got back to civilization and contacted PayPal they said that being that I didn’t respond in the allotted time that the dispute was closed. It’s only $30 but I just feel that maybe the response time should be a little longer. All in all, it’s a great service with great protection for their customers..Version: 7.40.5

✓ Refunded money, thanks PayPalI had an online company who were not suppose to take money out of my account, as the order had been cancelled, but they went ahead anyway probably hoping I wouldn’t notice. Luckily I did notice and notified PayPal in time. Thank goodness for PayPal. I gave all the information I had to PayPal. It is important to take photos of conversations online and any records of proof you have of transactions so PayPal can help you and within 24 hours the company have refunded my money. ✓ Reassuring, but needs improvementPayPal adds a safety level that is very reassuring. It’s easy to use, and integrates very well with store sites. A couple of basic safeguards need attention though & should be addressed as priorities. I have a separate email address used solely for shopping sites, but a couple of times my PayPal (personal) email address has flipped over into the store delivery details during the authorisation process. Importantly, PayPal should mandate that current ‘in country’ contact details being provided for shopping sites registered to use PayPal, that include a phone number (for when stores don’t respond to email follow ups). On a couple of occasions when I’ve not received purchased goods, PayPal’s store contact details were useless - had a U.S. phone number for an Australian store & in another instance had a store’s self promotion message without any contact details provided at all..Version: 8.30.1

I ordered an item from a Fbk seller, paid using PayPal..., I did receive a box, BUT, it was empty... the parcel did contain 4 empty bubble envelopes, 3 from the same company in China, to a guy in LA & an envelope from that guy to the same company in China... all with Pandora branded packaging... I lodged a claim, explaining my problem, I waited... then I received a final email saying they had found in the sellers favour! No more talk!! I am not happy as I believe I did not get a fair hearing! Even the tracking clearly shows the parcel fell off the radar for 3-4 days... If the seller did send the goods, why is it a given I am telling lies?? I did not receive the item, I received an empty box!! ✓ Favorite payment app … for nowI have used PayPal for business for years and enjoy the cash back feature. I regularly pay bills, get paid and send money through PayPal. It’s handy, and I’ve never had any security issues. Customer support has improved over the years as well. However, the recent change of disconnecting the rollover of payments from your bank account is a bummer. Plus, it’s kind of screwed up several automatic payments I’ve had set up in there for a long time. It’s just a pain to have to transfer money all over the place. I liked this app because I could use it in congruence with my bank account. I didn’t have to worry about it. I knew if I had money in my bank account I could use my PayPal card. And I did … until I couldn’t one day. I guess I didn’t get the memo because I had to research why it wasn’t working. Now, it’s just like all the other payment apps, which I don’t like and use rarely. I do keep a couple around for emergencies and friends, but PayPal has been my go-to payment app for years. I’m not sure if I will mess around with transferring money into this account, which means I probably won’t use it for much anymore, other than to receive payments..Version: 8.50.0
✓ Straight Forward, Simple & SecureThe title says it all. The app is easy to use; there’s no clicking through a stack of menus searching for the feature that you’re looking for; everything happens quickly (transactions appearing, pages changing/loading, money being sent, ect.) & you know that your transactions are going to be secure. Even when there is a problem, resolving it is simple & as stress free as possible. I screwed up the other day & sent money to the wrong person, & after realizing I was extremely worried that it was going to be a huge hassle to get it back; but it was literally as simple as pressing a single button to cancel the transaction & my refund was issued. It seriously seemed almost too easy. Now that I think about it, this might just be the only app store review that I’ve ever done, but if any app I own deserves 5 mins of my time to complete one, it’s PayPal. ✓ Exchange Rate WoesLove all things PayPal when it comes to eBay business and payments, customer service has always been pleasant and they actually have a personality when speaking with them. Only downfall as a Canadian - exchange rate is terrible when converting from USD to CDN funds - like BAD bad. ✓ Money Saving Wonder!!!I recently made two larger than usual purchases for Christmas and I paid by PayPal credit. The first item had a 4 month 0% duration. The second item was for 24 months, minimal amount but at a rate of 12.9% APR. £52 a month was coming out of my current account to cover these purchases but when I looked on the PayPal app the amount was coming off the Second purchase and not the first. I was concerned about this so contacted PayPal by phone. Upon speaking to somebody I was informed that they deliberately paid it off this way so as to save me money on interest. The second purchase cost me more to finance so they pay it off first! In a world where it seems that most financial businesses are trying to rip you off it is a breath of fresh air to deal with a company that goes out of its way to do the opposite. ✓ Slow in paying moneyI recently sold something on eBay, and the purchaser paid the money and the item was delivered.. but when the money hit my PayPal account there was a hold up for 24 hours due to security. It was only a £100 coming into my bank account. But they held it due to security protocols.. and that was two days ago.. they have now released the funds but it has not shown up.. so I presume it’s lost. I have tried to contact them.. and they won’t answer the phone.. or respond to my chats. So something fishy is going on in the uk and US OFFICES. I have been with eBay for years.. but asking them to help takes me back to the PayPal page.. which leads me to believe they contracted out the customer service section to pay pal. Something is not right. This is what happens when companies get to big. Hope they sort this.. as it’s not good. Messing about with money is not good.. if you are paid by some one.. then you should get the money instantly in your banks. What gives them the right to hold money? If you ask to send money to your bank account.. the PayPal should do it instantly with out question.. so long as the details are right and you are logged in. Playing about is not on. ✓ Good service keep listeningI have used Paypal for a while now all good safe money transactions started using their finance started ok but was annoying when I wanted to pay of some of my purchases but was unable to choose and when you speak to the team about allocating money specifically for the use to pay off that one transaction it’s a case of well there is nothing we can do you have to wait until your money has been processed I can’t see it here now and cannot tie it to pay off your specific item purchased sorry it was very frustrating they even said that the scheduled payment will cover it so don’t worry you don’t need to do anything right now just wait. ✓ Avoid if possibleSorry for what you will read below in my feedback, but this is my last bitter experience with PayPal. I am totally disappointed with PayPal's attitude towards me personally as a seller. After a bunch of lies from the buyer, I agreed to take the subject of the sale back and refund the amount paid by the buyer. Naturally, PayPal mediated all this time and made no effort to verify the facts of the case. He just blindly believed what was stated as information by the buyer. As a result, I was left without the 14 carat gold pendant and on top of that PayPal refunded the buyer with the money from my account. Now I have neither a pendant nor money. After two phone calls with the PayPal customer service, I was told that everything was fine and they could do nothing more. I gave them proof that I didn't get the pendant back, but obviously that doesn't matter to them. The important thing was that there was a tracking number and they were returned to the buyer. What a sense of justice. No protection for sellers rights unfortunate. Of course, the amount is not a million pounds, but the bitterness and insult are much more..Version: 7.42.2

✓ No issues from my endHave used this app for the last 12 months and have not experienced any of the issues other users have described. I do have a newer model iPhone if that helps. The app has been easy to navigate and I noticed that when my wife has used PayPal to buy items when we were apart it informed me of the transaction immediately through notifications, so I feel that if it was an unauthorised transaction I would be confident that I would be informed immediately and could start the process necessary to void the transaction if need be. It is, however, very expensive (fees are high, and exchange rates for international currencies is poor). ✓ Great for buyers/consumersFirst, I would clarify that this app & company are almost 5 star for consumers with one minor issue being trying to address a problem or issue quickly with an actual customer service person. A lot of the common things can be done right in the app and additional automated processes are available on their full website (via Resolution Center usually). However, if you are using it as a Seller, you have to be prepared to have a good cash flow to cover resolutions pending, and occasionally are blocked access to your funds if an issue is being investigated like a customer complaint, even when not your issue. Sometimes for 10 or more days they can hold your funds hostage while you wait for their CS dept to investigate, allow for additional input deadlines to expire and then wait for a response/ judgement. I know it’s for the benefit of the consumer but in cases where you have abusive or not-so-honest consumers, it can be a challenge for a small business with small cash flow. And cash flow can easily kill a small business that is otherwise successful. So it’s still a good app but caution for some people who use it for business.Version: 7.34.1

One real improvement I would like to see is the ability to split a Money on Hold situation to recognise the average amount transacted, I am in a situation we’re as the most recent funds in to my account is hire than the average I have to wait until the package has been received, as the seller I have to faith in the honesty of the purchaser and PayPal while covering the shipping costs, or split payments up and pay the fees, this could be done better and easier..Version: 7.42.1
✓ I WOULD RECOMMEND PAYPAL TO MY CHILDRENI’ve been a PayPal costumer for about a year, over this past year I have had no problems with PayPal .. It’s a very easy banking app to use, everything is self explanatory.. If you are a customer having trouble it’s probably because you did not take your time or didn’t read everything through… If you have had issues no matter what state you’re from there is a Attorney General you can get a hold of and they take banking very seriously because it is federal. So if there’s a discrepancy with your money or transactions and PayPal is refusing to give you the customer service you deserve as a customer I recommend you call the attorney generals office immediately and file a complaint. Obviously the attorney generals office also does not look kind upon false allegations either.. As me myself and I as a customer I have had no issues whatsoever it works great for any online shopping I do, I do surveys and get paid to do them it works great for a payment option for a number of online employers even such as Uber or Lyft.. ✓ Great service and easy to use once set upHave used PayPal for many years now and find it great to use when paying for purchases online knowing have that extra security and money back guarantee. I did have a dispute some time ago where seller sent me the wrong model and would not do anything about it not even answer emails so opened a dispute with PayPal and even though seller did not respond to messages PayPal gave a full refund after I sent them a postal receipt stating item had been sent back to seller so all good in the end but if it had not have been for the PayPal protection I would have lost my money. The help desk which seems to be in the uk or Ireland are competent and on the whole pretty helpful. The app is good and works well. Having said all of this, the news that they where changing the terms to be able to able to charge people they had identified up to $2500 for posting any sort of misinformation on the internet smacked of the sort of virtue signalling that has no place in a finance platform, and also indicates to a large extent the attitude held within the business at senior levels, that this is ok. I know this was then reported as an error and should never have happened, but nevertheless it was written, put out by someone and then OK’d by someone at an E staff level, and if not for the backlash it would have probably been still “In effect.” These platforms are part of our everyday day life, although they bring many benefits, I feel society has made a deal with the devil, one which we can’t take back. ✓ Equally Easy & EnragingMakes my life so easy to request and receive money that at present seems to have more importance too me than ever before. Once received I can transfer easily usually within moments, unless the site is down ( regarding my bank account app not pay pal app ) the only complaint I have is if I send over 100, that I desperately needed right away due to having no home and needing to pay for a hotel via bank not cash & it decided to screw me over and make me have to wait 12 - 24 hours although at this very moment I can’t say which, but imagine having no money and finally receiving some only to find out I may be sleeping on a bench as I had no access to funds that were my own to spend as I earned them but cannot access it and so homeless and sleeping rough was almost an option aside begging in tears for help and trust of a hotel, so that is a massive nightmare. Then if not on family and friends you deduct some £ and that also means when it came to trying to get cash from machine and such i of course was unable as that was all I had and you can’t take 8 £ from machine or give 10 £ and pay rest on card or try pay 20 for what I needed it for but couldn’t because I no longer had it or option to ask for the extra from anyone … that really upset me..Version: 8.38.1
✓ I wish ever vendor had PayPal as an optionPayPal is great for iPhone and iPad. I like the addition of PayPal one touch. Now it feels even less like I’m spending money and more like a game. I however do not like PayPal aggressive policies regarding online pharmacies and overseas vendors. Legitimate Establishments I have trusted and used for years are blacklisted, for flimsy reasoning as in they didn’t tick box a or meet some unusual criteria b. I how have to go back to the old fashioned bank transfer method and endure high bank fees. Unfortunately their is no alternative that is as easy to use and trusted as PayPal. Don’t be a bully PayPal. ✓ Avoid at all costsThis is a zero star review. It won’t let me enter a nickname if I leave one star - interesting eh? This company incites fraud, your money is not protected in any way. Trying to get to speak to someone is an absolute joke and then you get cut off. Several fraudulent transactions using my PayPal account over the last couple of months. Cases are raised and then closed by PayPal stating no unauthorised use! ✓ PayPal focuses on unethically maximising commissionsI recently had a poor experience with PayPal. I paid for an item in USD and when they refunded the amount in GBP, the applied a very large spread over the market price. I ended up paying over 5% each way (total over 10%). Only 3% was due to market moves and the remainder was PayPal applied spread over spot. Worst part of this experience, is the fact that the seller made a genuine mistake in processing a refund to me (as I am actually purchasing the item and not returning this) and we have asked PayPal to kindly revert the payment. They stated that this is not possible. Instead, they clearly want me to make the payment again such that they can charge for a third time the punitive commission. I find this very poor on PayPal’s behalf and I hope that the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) looks further into these unethical market practices that the company has been implementing on its customers in order to unfairly maximise revenues. I am disappointed, however I am quite resigned to the fact that a fair outcome is highly unlikely to be provided by PayPal. ✓ One of the best banking platforms availableAfter a bit of a shaky start back in the early 2000’s, when I first used PayPal whilst running my small EBay business, this platform has gone from strength to strength. Yes, they had teething troubles & some fraud issues, but gradually these were obliterated & processes were smoothed and simplified until we’ve arrived today with the brilliant system I’ve come to love. I use the app for both my personal PayPal & my business PayPal which I can very easily, keep totally separate from each other. I love that I don’t have to hunt for my wallet every time I want to buy something as all my card details are in the system already. I like the PayPal credit function which I use instead of a credit card to spread the cost of larger purchases. I like how simple the reporting is for when I’m reconciling my accounts using my online accounting package and also how easily I can download (using my laptop) any previous statements, going back years, if necessary. Very few people don’t have PayPal; so when I’m buying from sellers I can use it even more quicker than the time it takes to do a bank transfer. PayPal answers the phone! ✓ Amazing service but a few gripesI used PayPal for 4 years now and it’s an amazing way to send/receive money weather it’s between family and friends or making a transactions it’s an amazing service to use, but like with any trusted money services it has its flaws. Firstly the fact that EBay now has a fee for using PayPal in transactions has annoyed me. And secondly I have noticed a few times scammers try using PayPal as a way to defraud PayPal users either by sending fake links pretending to be PayPal and stealing your data, sending fake password reset notifications or saying that the amount is above the limit and you need to send money to the account that’s sending the money. ✓ In a case of fraud, it took a LOT of effort for PayPal to advocate for me!Update: it took me several attempts, but PayPal did finally investigate my case and found that the merchant was indeed at fault. PayPal issued me a full refund and I have begun using their services again. PayPal is a little more convenient to use at the point of purchase than credit cards, as it usually requires only a couple of clicks to make a purchase. If they will defend my rights as a consumer as well as credit card companies do, then I no longer have a problem using the app. This is not so much a case of buyer beware anymore. Just buyer, be aware… My original complaint: I made a purchase using PayPal and I never received the merchandise. PayPal allowed the vendor to charge my card immediately, yet three months later I still had not received my items. PayPal did not help me get a refund. I had to open a time consuming dispute and PayPal ruled in favor of the merchant! The merchant provided a tracking number from China that said the package was delivered to the US (no more specifics were provided!) PayPal ruled in favor of the bogus merchant without any further investigating. Also, navigating the app and Website to complain involved a lengthy case of hide and seek. Allowing yourself to be protected against any fraudulent people that might be able to steal your debit/credit card details puts your mind at ease. I would rather be safer in the knowledge that I was protected if an issue arose. I really don't understand the negative feedback this app has had. To be honest I very rarely purchase from a site if they don’t offer it because I like the security that is offered by PayPal. ✓ Love PayPalI have been using PayPal for many years as I began using eBay only a year after they began operating in Australia and I now use it as a retailer not just as a consumer. I’m a fashion designer and seamstress and a bit of a Jill-Of-All-Trades as I hold many different qualifications so it’s great to be able to use PayPal for income purposes as well as for purchases and paying for services. I’m also liking this new ‘Money Pool’ thing they’ve just introduced for when a group of friends want to share the cost of say a holiday or something by creating a Money Pool and jointly combine their funds effortlessly. ✓ Best money transfer appIn my opinion PayPal is the best method for quickly accepting international payments for business or personal use. Really easy to use and super fast which is always a bonus. Only thing that would make this app better would be proper iPad support, as right now it is a very poor experience on the iPad. ✓ LoveI’ve never had a problem with PayPal and have been using this app for around 7-8 years but recently I’ve had trouble verifying my account with them .. I expected to be able to talk with them but no I just get an automated list of things but nothing that helps with my problem ... I was so upset yesterday that my dear friend took over but after being on line and on phone talking to no one through the keyboard we got so frustrated and gave up .. they said they had put 2 payments under 50 cents into my account but they were $2 and you cannot enter anything but cents into their verifying page .. ✓ One of the best fintech apps out!All in one app for all my financial needs I trust PayPal for all my online purchases knowing PayPal has my back if there is issue with my account/fraud. I also use the app to make purchases whenever there is a Cashback deal available it also automatically searches for any active coupons/promos and applies it to your order. There’s package tracking including within app so I’m able to keep update with the progress of my shipments. Paypal offers a savings account with a high APR, Crypto market/wallet tho it’s limited just offers the main bigger know cryptos, PayPal rewards/Cashback, PayPal Credit, PayPal Mastercard, send & receive payments, also able to use PayPal balance as a debit account (you will receive a debit card) another option available is to enroll in direct deposit or deposit funds at several convenient locations. All those features are viewable and easy to navigate in a nice clean user interface. Customer service has been superb I haven't had any issues since opening an account with Paypal it only has made managing and utilizing my finances a breeze. When I ring them to ask does everything look alright with my account as I just purchased something online and I weren’t sure whether it was legitimate because it wouldn’t load properly, they look at the company etc check my account thoroughly. I did buy something before and it wasn’t legitimate so PayPal emailed them and got my money back. They always help with anything and everything and are so kind and care about your money. We have lost thousands of $ due to PayPal refunding our money to people who claim that they never ordered from us, claim they never received their order, or any other pathetic excuse. ✓ Extremely poor serviceI Never leave a bad review unless I genuinely think a service or product is highly of poor standard and this is one of them very few times I do leave one due to the list of things below: Poor ethics having to wait up to a month at a time for every transaction is very of putting as a new customer I wouldn't bother with using PayPal unless you want to wait a month for every bit of money you make and then takes longer than the said 3 days to transfer to our bank account. ^ And this is even after adding the tracking which claims to make it shorter but only took of 3 days not the under 7 days it also claims. They have quite a few mess ups in the transaction / withdrawal department to your bank account such as reversing a withdrawal days later then having to wait 3 days again for it to go through. Everything is a very long and slow process seems to be highly in favour of the company to hold your money at every opportunity they seize and not actually beneficial to the sellers at all in fact becomes very off putting as a seller to use them due to the problems listed and they are big problems not small problems which they need to think about changing. Terrible if you want money quickly ( read above to refer too ) Terrible customer service lately a lot of staff can't give you straight answers with the exception of a few.Version: 6.14.1
✓ Scam sitesI also had an issue with a seller who advertised incorrectly.. sent bogus tracking info and the wrong cheap product… the seller also wants me to pay for return shipping to a different location to the original dispatch location, and with a timeframe that is unacceptable and unworkable just to refund my money for the product that they sent me. This is not what I ordered, and even though PayPal has in the past honoured their customer guarantee.. this time I am struggling to get a intelligent and satisfactory solution. Probably will just lose my money.. Some of these sites say they are in Australia or the States and use advertising to make you think they are all endorsed, but they are some obscure Chinese website that you can never contact or interact with directly. They seem to use the PayPal complaint site for their own purposes. I hope PayPal can sort these dodgy sites from their business so that the customers who safely use PayPal are not disadvantaged. ✓ A little disappointedAs with other reviewers, I have had PayPal for many years and have not had any issues until recently. The newest website design is confusing to me. I sent in regular monthly payments as I had been doing for years. This was for a 6-month same as cash deal. Out of the blue I received a check for over $600 from PayPal. When I checked my account online i realized There were 2 separate accounts , one was charged interest for the same-as-cash purchase and a late fee; the other was where the $600+ check came from. I don’t remember this happening before. Apparently PayPal had made changes to the way they handled my account. If they notified me of these changes I don’t remember reading anything Besides, every year about this time we get notices of privacy laws, terms and conditions, and other legal papers with jargon that I just don’t keep up with I made a call to PayPal customer service and got the issue resolved. The gentleman I spoke with took off the extra charges without a problem. The Rep was professional but had no personality. It was ok though since he fixed the problem. ✓ My favorite walletI’ve been using PayPal to store usd I would win from apps. I’d work really hard and get some passive income. Then from there I would use my PayPal card and throw it to a blunt, or at some crypto. Anyways I got double charged at a store and I waited two weeks for this case. I started losing hope in PayPal, they were just taking my money for no reason and making me wait and wait. I had a negative amount because of this and reached zero again. I called again and spoke to Barbara of PayPal. One of my rewards got sent as a sale. so I asked her to change it since it was a gift reward. Barbara did not only do that. The negative for double charge, she saw how the last employee entered it and fixed it right there. I got my last reward, dropped the double charge. Today I buy a blunt and put some more money on shib inu thanks to the PayPal team. Especially thanks to Barbara of the customer service PayPal team. Y’all need more people like her. ✓ PayPal are a good pal to have and I use them regularly without any problems.I use PayPal to send money for both local and international needs and they provide an excellent service - and I also recognise that they make a few % points on exchange rate - but this is offset by the fact that I can get free payment spread over a few months. I also use PayPal as my “go to” for purchases from eBay or other major payments. Quite simply I trust them and we have synergistic benefits which go both ways. Somethings cost a little more, however, convenience and time saved balance that for me. I can also have a range of choices when I buy an item, I can have pay now or can pay on receipt of the item etc. Using PayPal regularly makes sense for me and I know that my money is securely managed to meet my needs..Version: 8.54.1
