Imagine Drift Palm CoveMy sons and I stayed at these apartments for 5 nights. Firstly the room we stayed in was not refurbished and was very tired needing new furniture new carpet paint etc. Also hall carpet desperately needing replacing and walls painted. Paying close to $400 a night was far to much so after complaining we did get a 15% discount. There are refurbished rooms so be sure to ask otherwise you will be disappointed..Version: 32.2

For a total luxurious holiday go no further than the ikos hotelsOur first encounter with ikos hotel was last October at their Kos resort. Nothing was too much trouble for them, the staff were attentive and so friendly. The food was excellent, varied and you had several speciality restaurants to choose from also scattered around the complex. The beaches were clean and the staff you get you whatever drink or snack you needed on the beach. You could not improve on Perfection. Hence our reason for booking our second holiday with them this time at their corfu resort. Needless to say exactly the same standard as their Kos resort. Nothing is too much trouble. The room we originally booked turned out to be somewhat noisy with early morning traffic and being a light sleeper asked whether we could be moved. Within 24 hours we were offered a quieter room on the complex. Ikos leads where others can only follow..Version: 49.1

Lovely quiet hotelThis was our second visit to The Ocean Boutique Hotel. We went for as lightly larger room - Tanzanite and nothing was too much trouble. Having arrived at the forecourt to the hotel we were met by a very friendly member of staff. Our bags were whisked away to our room and the check in process was quick and efficient. We asked for a kettle which was immediately provided and were soon sitting with a cool beer in hand looking out over the lovely pool towards the sea. Just sublime after a long journey. Room was an excellent size with fabulous large and super comfy bed. Aircon and fan, microwave and fridge and good sized bathroom. One feels very safe in this hotel which has a gated entrance and sits on top of a small hill. Undoubtedly next time we are back we will be staying there again. Highly recommend..Version: 39.6

Hellenika New FarmThis is the first time I have ever written a review because I am so disappointed. I booked dinner for 5 for my husband’s birthday and on booking was told it was the “last table” and we had to be there by 5:15pm and out for 7:30pm. On arrival there was a sea of empty tables. We were asked to order our food before our wine had arrived. The night was spoilt by ridiculous pressure to get out. By 6:50pm (not offered dessert or coffee til we asked) I have NEVER felt so pressured to leave 40 MINUTES before the next booking. Our waitress was repeatedly apologetic. Never again! I am a New Farm local and this restaurant doesn’t deserve best Brisbane ranking. I was followed to the lift askimg “what I want” - i don’t want anything but to be treated with respect when the restaurant is clearly NOT FULL..Version: 32.6

Hector’s in MazatlanThis Was not a fine dining experience as we expected. I would’ve felt more welcome at Burger King and been better taken care of. Our whole experience from ordering to checking out was less than 45 minutes. The waiter took our drink order and we only got one Cube of ice after requesting a full glass. After he brought Iceless tea, I ordered a glass of red wine and never received it. The prawn spaghetti was good as was the risotto. I had the lasagna and Stouffers makes better. We were served our food & received no further attention from any of the waiters despite asking for ice and salt and pepper. We asked several times for the check and when we finally received it, we paid part in pesos and put part on the credit card. We told him to put 605 pesos on the card and he came back and had charged us 620. We will never go back here again. There were people at every table when we arrived but by the time we left 45 minutes later the place was relatively empty. People did not seem to be enjoying their dining experience either..Version: 23.6

EqULIBIRIA Seminyak BaliWe stayed here over Xmas and New Year What a superb experience The staff were unbelievably helpful and made our stay a memorable one The location was perfect as it was very quiet and so so peaceful . Commodores Lodge - RussellSue & Hamid were absolutely awesome 4 of us stayed there for 4 nights recently. Location is brilliant and the place is impeccable. Very friendly hosts - facilities were awesome, kayaks & bikes, pool & spa all free to use. The Duke next door is a beautiful old building. We highly recommend to everyone - you wouldn’t find nicer hosts anyway else. Hamid & Sue had everything covered and a bonus for us meeting Bill. A magnificent stay for the Tattersall family - thanks so much 🤘.Version: 39.6

Limited optionsFirstly I feel that everything should be scored out of 10 rather than 5 as it doesn’t always reflect accurately enough. Secondly I’ve noticed on some of my posts that I’ve made spelling or grammar errors and once posted I cannot correct them. Thirdly and this really winds me up you allow reviews from bars that are clearly being completely underhand. The best example is ‘D.K.Oyster’ in Mykonos, Greece that take mobile phones from the customers and type their own reviews! If you look at their reviews most of them it’s their first ever review as they’ve never used Trip Adviser before and much of the text on the reviews is exactly the same as previous viewers. Having been in that bar I’ve seen the practice and it’s disgusting. Most of the 5* reviews are fraudulent and the 1* reviews are accurate. Why do you allow this to continue to happen?.Version: 33.0

Worth downloading? YesI’d never been a fan of these type of things... Too many people moaning & groaning, but... we went abroad, & after hunting through the books we bought for ‘things to do’ we turned to Tripadvisor!! Yes, I was right, there is moaning & groaning, but for every moaner there are 2, 3, 4, 5 positive reviews. Tripadvisor has now become a staple. My advice, read the reviews both good & bad, then make your own mind up based on what you’ve read, & take some of the bad reviews with a pinch of salt, & remember the old adage; ‘you can’t please all of the people all of the time’. The advantage of having the app… is you’ll always have it with you on your phone, & that if you find yourself with sometime & you want to do something, chances are you’ll be able to find somewhere to go near to where you are..Version: 52.3

Cuate et CueteYou will really enjoy this restaurant on the boardwalk near the big sail at the south end, whether you sit on the beach or in the restaurant per se. The hostess reminds me of the Russian leader in John Wick three – very tough, doesn’t miss a beat. We had guacamole a Mexican plate, and a grilled octopus plate with lemonade and water and all for 815 pesos for two and plenty of food. Four stars! r.Version: 56.3

MIchael Buble Concert amazing Hilton Hotel not worth stayingThe Hilton Hotel Milton Keynes fantastic luxurious. The Hilton Birmingham Metropole paid over double the price of Milton Keynes and was very very disappointed. Room 423 queen deluxe room they said NOT double shower CANT get two people in maybe two small children! Bed squeaked just sitting on it. To try turn over sleep was uncomfortable loud and had no sleep. Tv was positioned in wrong place to watch while getting ready for concert. No bottled water or biscuits as in other Hilton Hotels. Room smelt over powering of shake and vac . Breakfast was 14 people deep waiting for food to be replenished staff very few . Fruit juices no glasses to had to use mugs . Not a great stay at all for the money . Will not be staying here again would rather drive back to Oxford after an enjoyable evening at the concert than go through a very disappointed sleepless night at this hotel..Version: 31.6

Navigation!?This app has a wealth of information. However it can be quite frustrating to locate that which you need to know. For example, I tried to find information on the multiple parking facilities a t Guadalajara Airport. It wasn’t apparent, other than a few reviews mentioning parking at a couple hotels. Then, when using the search function, it kept taking me to an “airport west”, that seemed to be far away (New Zealand?). Still not convinced parking the info wasn’t there, just I couldn’t find it. A pet peeve - why does the app keep asking for access to my location? I wasn’t looking for something near me, nor can I remember using it for something near me. While I’ve been to this location, I’m not there now., and I’m perfectly happy to enter the location of interest. Are they selling location data? That would be a privacy violation in my view..Version: 35.2.1

Love this appI am proudly the top contributor for my area and I take this seriously. We are helping others make food decisions and choices. While the reviewing has changed as no negative reviews are printed there’s always ways around this. Before I eat out or book hotel I hop on and read reviews. I take this seriously and just love it I’m a foodie and blessed with traveling. This app is easy to use and will continue to review for as long as it lasts..Version: 47.6

Sofitel pillow shop ladyJust to let everyone know that stays at the Sofitel Fiji to visit Merewalesi who is the lovely Pillow shop lady. My husband needs a firm pillow for his neck and she talked about which pillow would be good for his needs. We opted for high latex pillow and he slept better. Pillows in room are very soft and squishy. They charge you $80 Fiji dollars to your room and on checkout you take your receipt back to the shop with the pillow and they reverse the charge. Our flight leaves so early she’s not open so you just take to reception with your receipt and they can do the reversal there as well. It is a nice extra benefit of staying here. Thank you Merewalesi we appreciate your help..Version: 55.3

Poni exceeded our expectationsWe had booked Poni to celebrate Australian Father’s Day while staying in Paris. We were warmly welcomed by ALL the staff and offered a selection of tables. It was hot but we had a breeze being in the main section of the restaurant. The menu had a great variety of options and my Aperol Spritz was fantastic, not only because it was huge :-). The food was delicious, we shared the croquettes and I had the supreme of chicken and my husband the pork - both exceptionally tasty and generous portions, with different vegetable accompaniements, not the same vegetables on each plate that we have encountered in both France and Italy. The waiters were friendly, attentive and professional and had great senses of humour and fantastic English without being condescending. All in all a great experience exceeding our expectations. Thanks Romain and Joseph..Version: 54.1

Rui Touareg Boa VistaThe hotel is huge and immaculate throughout. 20 minutes from the airport. Booking in was quick and we was given the key straight away so we could freshen up rather than hanging about. Luggage arrived quickly. Many different specialist eating places, simple to book in. Hidden gems with the infinity pool and bar, health Spa and whale spotting from the beach. An abundance of food available ALL the time, even the fussier guest will find lots to eat and drink. Rooms are cleaned everyday and good water pressure on the shower. WiFi is string around the hotel. I would like to say that all the staff are genuine, even the lads doing the gardening. We have received a couple of calls throughout our stay ensuring we are happy with everything. Could they improve anything ? Possibly, but you wouldn’t notice any changes. 5*.Version: 46.6

Eagle Aruba ResortThis is our third year in a row staying here. It is quieter and less busy then high rise area, which we prefer. Rooms have full kitchens and hotel is across the street from Super Foods grocery. Nice to be able eat a light breakfast or leftovers for lunch! Pools are really nice - one is more for kids with shaded splash area and water slide. Middle pool has built in lounge chairs and is the place to be for happy hour. Other pool is more adult and has a cool waterfall. We actually use the more kid oriented pool and enjoy it. Don’t have to fight for lounge chairs here. Hotel is a block from the beach and they have their own area and will golf cart you over if you like. Hotel is smaller than a lot and easy to get around (flat!) if walking is an issue. All the staff are great, Pablo and Travis are super friendly out front to help with luggage, getting taxis and driving the golf cart! Be sure to pop over to La Cabana next door for the amazing dessert place that has cheesecake and other delights. La Cabana also has a casino..Version: 55.3

I love it but it needs workI really love this App and I contribute and peruse it a lot but.... Please fix something pdq, writing a review is often troublesome. Almost every time when I’m ready to submit the review, it wants me to sign in again, over and over. Often it wants me to prove that I’m not a Robot, this is extremely annoying so do something about it, please. Otherwise, it’s a good App.Version: 30.8

The Reserve Accommodation Barossa ValleyWe have just had 5 nights at The Reserve together with 6 friends. It is a very special place to catch up as a group. The Living/Entertaining area sooo good - over looking beautiful grounds which include Bbq, Pizza oven, Sauna and large outdoor setting. Sadly for us it rained but for the locals very much needed. This didn’t spoil our stay as the log fire and the cosy room was the perfect setting to enjoy the great wines we had been buying. The manager Jodie was probably the loveliest and most helpful manager we have encountered. The only negative was the 5th bedroom- ok for children probably but not for an adult who felt poorly done by when she saw the other 4 bedrooms!! Overall a lovely stay and would definitely recommend it..Version: 31.4

10 Day StayI recently visited Singapore as a birthday vacay and stayed at The Furama City Centre. I have very mixed feelings about these premises. When you first walk in you see the multi coloured rug & staircase as shown in all pictures but this needs to be replaced or regular cleaning as it has many stains on it. Once you enter the Lobby, which is either granite or marble, and looks impressive, you then see dirty stained lounge chairs. I stayed on Level 20 & had access to the Executive Lounge & was very reasonably charged for room & lounge(superb staff, see separate review). Upon arrival we were informed renovations were being done to the facade, but the interior is in need of major works. Dirty walls, badly stained carpets in serious need of a fresh paint. Level 6, area to pool, gymnasium & laundry has the most horrid smell every time you enter that floor. Like severe water damage odour. Pool area has lounge chairs to use but lacks appeal. Bonus with this hotel is that it’s within walking distance to the hustle & bustle of Chinatown as it is located right amongst it. Close to several Hawker Market Stalls for those wanting cheaper meals. A two minute walk has you right at the MRT station, the perfect way to travel Singapore. I hope they do upgrade the interior as there are many options o.Version: 31.8

Villa MantaA perfect place for a group or family Holiday on Koh Samui . We were a family of seven , so the four en-suite rooms was a perfect combination for us . Stepping down into kitchen , lounge dining areas , outdoor dining , pool table , TV , private infinity pool , sun beds , nothing else to ask for . Villa has housekeeper and cook whenever we needed , for washing , and cooked meals in if we wanted .Stay included an amazing cooked breakfasts each day . Staff arranged transport to wherever we needed , restaurants , day tour , English speaking , as villa a short drive away from main shopping , restaurant areas . We loved leaving that behind and coming back to our secluded private villa . Just a wonderfull Villa , excellent staff made for us a perfect family holiday , combination of staying in and having some days out . Thanks again Villa Manta.Version: 32.2

Somewhat disappointedI recently stayed at the Pavilion on Northbourne in Canberra for a week I was somewhat disappointed when I went to my room and there were no drawers to put my clothes there was hanging space and two desks three chairs but no drawers in the room. No bedside drawer there were also five small holes plugged in the wall, the shower rail was all rusted the paint was a dark olive green and only one picture on the wall behind me I complained at the front desk three times about the lack of storage . Nowhere to put my clothes and was told that I would only have drawers if I booked into a suite as hotel rooms don’t have drawers and most clients only stay 1 or 2 nights in single rooms!!!! The tap kept falling off the wall in the showers d there was not even 1 hook to hang anything. Only 1 mirror in the bathroom as well.I have been coming to Canberra every year for 20 years and I found this the most disappointing accommodation ever..Version: 24.6

Dependably yummy!December 2018: Took 2 out-of-town girlfriends. Very tasty lemony chicken breast with capers, rice, grilled asparagus (nightly special) and HGF burger with fries. Creme brûlée delicious. Not too noisy. Late October 2018: Took 7 out-of-town childhood girlfriends. Ultimately it turned out fine BUT a near fiasco at first: our reservation was lost (even though we’d called twice); we ended up after a 30 minute wait asking to seat us anywhere; we ended up as a table of 4 up front and a table of 3 in the very back. Fortunately, everyone liked what they’d ordered: lasagna, a shrimp and pasta dish, chicken, bison burger. Sorry can’t recall more specifically, but basically from the menu. The waitress gave each table a dessert gratis and we loved the creme brûlée! Early October 2018: my companion and I loved our late dinner at the bar! Bison burger for me was tasty, not greasy, nicely topped with cheese and lettuce and tomato. Companion’s chicken sandwich was goodly sized, nicely fried and well seasoned. He really liked the fries too. Wonderful bartender- can’t recall his name, darn it! Lucky to have this in lil ole Weaverville..Version: 29.4.1

Wonderful experienceIt was our second visit to PCC in 18 years and this time we just enjoyed the 5 hours of cultural experiences without a guide and it worked out extremely well. The BYU students were fantastic and it was interesting to hear where they were from and their ancestors and what they were studying at the New Zealand(Aotearoa)presentation.Version: 56.1

Club Officer. We went for lunch yesterday on the way to an appointment and were somewhat pressed for time. After being shown to our table we placed both our drinks and meals order with our lovely helpful and happy female wait staff. The drinks were prompt and our meals arrived shortly after, which was what we wanted. I ordered the lamb roast and my good lady ordered the fish and chips. When our meals arrived, I commented that I think we have been served the full size meals and not the seniors, they were huge for a seniors meal and both meals couldn’t have been improved on they were absolutely delicious, thanks Chef. When we went to pay I would have been happy paying for the full sized meal as that’s what it looked like, but no, it was the seniors size. I can’t wait to return to Club Officer and next time not to be in a rush. As we were getting into our car a young gentleman appeared out of breath from running and asked if we had been at table seven. He then produced my mobile phone which I had left behind, PHEW. Ten out of ten for everything, the staff, the service, the prices and most of all the food, which is why we eat out..Version: 50.7

Now SapphireWhere should I begin ? Our second attempt for my daughters (#DrumSobodos) wedding was still filled with anxiety of traveling with 70 people during a pandemic. All of the staff of Now Sapphire put us at ease from the moment we arrived, until the day we left . It was well organized, with special precautions that made it easy for breakfast , lunch & Dinner . The staff was exceptional ! Everyone took great care of our wedding guests. The welcome Party was above and beyond what we expected . Denise the wedding planner did an Amazing job ! The wedding was absolutely spectacular. We could not have asked for a more perfect night ! Kudos to all the waiters , bartenders , room service , entertainment staff . And always those seaweed removing guys who were up before dawn ! Eduardo ( breakfast ) was the highlight of our morning . But there were many who also went above & beyond, Israel , Poncho , Manuel , Jaime , Christall , Ricardo ( lemongrass) Fredrico , Giovanni , Jose ( reef ) Pedro (Hibachi) Julian , Ismail & Eduardo ( wine Cellar ) . We have traveled to many places , but nobody can compare to the staff at the Now Sapphire. Thank-you !.Version: 39.6

Amazing !!This place is so wonderful the site is enormous, very luxurious I would say. So clean . The showers and toilets are amazing lots of room in the shower cubicles they have a one way system in and out for Covid . Even have dyson hairdryers and Hand dryers. We only stayed for two nights but would have loved to stay longer. We will be going back definitely next year….to stay longer. There is a wonder bbq & pizza oven area which you can hire which we did and it was great they also light a fire pit up for you too( the fire pit is to share with others who are cooking too) The natural pond pool looked fabulous..unfortunately we didn’t get a chance to get in there. Staff are very helpful and the security to get in is brilliant. Shrewsbury is only about 15 minutes away lovely place to visit. On site there are lots for the children to do nature walks wonderful park. Also the site is great for dogs . We have two Dashaunds and we took them on lovely walks . Dogs are very welcome at the site. Hook ups for motor homes and caravans are amazing you have everything you need all on your Pitch. The pitches are quite large two . This was our first time in a motor home experiencing this sort of holiday and this place made our trip wonderful. I would highly recommend this site and it also has wonderful views..Version: 43.7

Abel Tasman Golden Future Eco Boat TourThe day was totally amazing from start to finish. Not only was the weather organised to be perfect but the guide was up there with getting everything absolutely right too. We started after being launched at Marahau and headed around to see Split Apple Rock, one of the world’s most photographed sites at sea. I could go through each place we visited during the day to tell you all about it but I could not describe the various destinations of this day and truly do them justice. This is a trip you should go on yourself so you can hear the birdsong, see the birds, seals, water and sights and to be amazed by just how stunning the views are, all day..Version: 39.6

Fairmont Day SpaIt’s day like today that leave me dreaming of returning to the Fairmont Hotel in Sanur Bali. Food is exceptional (especially the breakfast) hotel staff extremely polite, after 4 stays over 5 years they feel like family. None more than Kadek Paitri that runs the lobby lounge & Wayan Warati that runs the day spa. Both women are exceptional at their jobs & make the experience breath taking. The massage (s) I have received were heavenly (second to none the best massage I have ever had) all treatments were outstanding & a clear 5 out of 5. It personally left me with a sense of spiritual awaking, feeling refreshed, completely relaxed & rejuvenated (one of the most stunning places on earth) with gratitude, Katie Burt x.Version: 24.2

Magnificent AcropolisHaving seen the Acropolis and Parthenon in pictures since childhood the fascination of the reality of being there could not be dimmed by the hoards of tourists and unrelenting heat in late September. The site and the structures are simply amongst the most magnificent on earth. The pictures in books cannot replace the views from the heights of Athens ( no buildings are allowed anywhere near the height of the Acropolis) and cannot reveal the timelessness and sense of history thick in the air. The constant repair of damage done by the Persians and many others, including failed restoration projects by the Greeks since the 1800s, cannot remove the extraordinary vibe of this ancient seat of great glory and mysterious Gods and great leaders and rulers. The seamless tourist process was very good although we were not offered headphones and an auditory guide which would have been appreciated. The signposting leaves a little to be desired in terms of available options and must have been obstructed by the large crowds..Version: 54.3

Wouldn’t travel without using this firstHave been using this since 2010 and am widely travelled although lots of reviews got lost years ago on an update, I use this app to read what the general public think of a destination and looking at what’s around the area etc I try to be objective though as you do get strange reviews based on having a bad flight when their talking about a hotel so self filtering is always a good idea, also there are lots of self promotion by the hoteliers which is why I cannot give it 5 stars. One of the best options on the app is the ability to ask people a question directly to get to a real answer of your problem which generally takes out the doubt. If I could make changes I would put the photos in date order on mobile devices so a more up to date view is available and I would try harder to remove false self promotion reviews..Version: 32.8

Ipswich Hospital MuseumWe visited this wonderful museum with a group of ladies, most of whom had grown up in Ipswich and intimately knew the hospital and its surrounds. This museum is quite new and situated in the old nurses quarters behind the emergency area where the ambulances congregate. We had two volunteer ladies tell us about the history of the place and relate some amusing and interesting stories of the early staff when the hospital opened in 1862. The museum is open to the public on Wednesdays from 9 to 12 or by appointment. It houses a plethora of old instruments and artefacts from that era. Definitely worth a visit if you have an interest in things medical. There is even a small cafe where you can grab a really good coffee or snack. The building itself is quite beautiful decorated with wrought iron lace..Version: 26.8.1

A lovely day on the waterWe set sail around 11:00am for our 7 hour cruise. The crew were kind and professional. The hostess caring and informative. A professional crew all round. The water was calm, so no sea sickness; thankfully as I am a bad sailor. The island of Koh Phangan is beautiful with a smattering of houses and resorts. Lunch was served, a selection of 5 delicious Thai dishes plus all the fruit you could eat. We stopped to snorkel at Koh Ma , a beautiful cove framed by golden sands. My husband said the fish and coral were beautiful. We set sail again heading to Koh Phangan where we had a choice of massages, walks along the beach or drinks at the bar. All tips at the bar go towards the street dogs. We set sail for home, enjoying g a spectacular sunset as we returned. Our entry to port was celebrated with fireworks from the onboard cannon..Version: 54.3

The people's voice in an appI have used TripAdvisor for many years and have been reviewing a lot of the places I have visited for the last 6 years. And... I love it!! The app is a great way to truly find out what customers think and not just rely on the blurb and marketing... which of course will always be completely bias. Naturally, everyone views what is good, bad or average in different ways... we all have our own standards and expectations... so you are best to read a few reviews to get a more thorough overview. Also check if certain negative aspects keep reappearing. It's not good if the same issues keep cropping up and they aren't rectified. It has links to the companies website and also lists the address, opening and closing times and sometimes cost/budget information which is extremely useful. In addition, the owners, proprietors or managers of each establishment have the opportunity to respond to reviews. Which is good because it gives you an idea of how the business responds to their critiques. A poorly thought out response can often do more damage than the initial criticism. It's a great app and I know a lot of people use it for finding recommendations on places to go. Of course, beauty is in the eye of the beholder... and we are all entitled to an opinion but it gives you a good idea of what to expect..Version: 27.6.1

Abacus Transport Airport ShuttleI’ve been using this firm for several years now and have never been disappointed. They’re always on time, polite and friendly. I’ve recommended them to several friends who no longer wish to drive to the airport or share with other travellers being dropped off around Auckland or rely on public transport. Once you’ve got the hang of their website they’re the best for getting you there on time and waiting with a smile on your return..Version: 29.8

Perfect hotel at the heart of Mai Chau at a cheap rate.Mai Chau Lodge located in the heart of Mai Chau. The magnificent view can be enjoyed from the hotel. Customers of the hotel can safely canoe for free in its exclusive lake. The food provided at the hotel is exceptional. The buffet breakfast includes genuine Vietnamese dishes and a chef who is ready to cook a fresh omelet upon your request. The hotel has the exclusive right to take its customers on a complimentary tour of a volcanic natural cave. My friends and I were fortunate enough to be taken to the first chamber of the cave by the kind manager, followed by a professional tour guid taking us to an adventure inside the cave. The hotel manager is professional, friendly and passionate about serving customers. Even the Vietnam Tourism Minister chose to stay at this hotel while we were there, which highlights the hotel's exclusivity at a very reasonable price, perhaps half the cost of an average hotel in Hanoi. Regarding my personal experience, I had to stay at this hotel due to my individual circumstances. However, the understanding and care shown by the hotel manager and the assistant manager made me feel like a family member, and I will always be grateful to them. I am confident that you will enjoy your stay in this hotel and have a wonderful time in Mai Chau..Version: 55.3

Lovely CampsiteLovely Campsite with stunning views and a short drive into Salcombe and Kingsbridge. The shower block is new and in very good condition. However there were queues for the showers most of the time and there are only two sinks for washing up and due to social distancing only one family group can use at a time. There are 2 showers for ladies, one family shower which was always busy and 2 showers for the men. It would be great if they could add more showers and perhaps some washing up facilities outside the block. The washing machine costs £5 to use but does include washing powder and fabric softener. The tumble drier is £1 for 13 minutes. We had to spend £5 to dry one average load of washing. It is a beautiful site and I would return again but it would be great if they could expand on the facilities available and perhaps reduce the cost of the washing machine and drier..Version: 43.2

Well cared for horses, beautiful area, attentive guidesAll the animals on the ranch are rescued animals including the horses we rode. They are clearly well cared for and the horse vet (“Dr Horse”) even rode with us. Emphasis was placed on treating the horses well and making their job easier. Loved that! There were approximately one guide for two guests. We were guided thru the walk to the ranch and around the Mayan jungle on the horses with interesting stores and facts. Our guide, Paula, was energetic, fun, easy to hear and understand. The cenote was refreshing and private so just 6 of us from the tour were swimming. They did not rush us and even though the tour says 2 hours, we were there for 3 hours. We even heard about and tasted Mayan chewing gum made from the sap of local trees. I highly recommend this adventure. They offer professional photos for $40 and the chewing gum ($5) but no pressure to buy them and they allowed us to have our phones and take photos along the way..Version: 53.2

Fine Dining at its very Best.I was very fortunate to receive a voucher for this restaurant from colleagues at work. It is a restaurant I was aware of but hadn’t visited. (My loss). First impressions were welcoming and homely, not at all stuffy. The furnishings and ambiance were everything and more than I expected. From start to finish the staff were superb and attentive but in no way pushy. It may be a personal thing but I love an open kitchen and this added to the experience. We had the tasting menu which in short is a nod to the restaurant name meaning a choice of 2 starters, 1 soup, 2 main meals, 1 cheese course and 2 deserts. Added to this there was Amuse Bouche and a pallet cleanser. A short description would be just everything was delicious. The thought into the menu and the balance of food is possibly the best I have ever tasted. Highlights for me were a beautiful haggis and black pudding starter, the most tender fillet steak you could choose to eat and a cheese course that was outstanding. Yes it is quite expensive but worth every penny. We will definitely return..Version: 48.3

Amazing food, drinks, atmosphere, and staff!First time in Tofino and I already want to return for the vibes alone. After a long day of travel - continuing our PNW roadtrip from Panchena Bay to Tofino - my girlfriend and I were looking for dinner spot that could meet all of usual desires: good atmosphere, good eats, and good drinks. The Shed hit those and then some. One of the liveliest spots in town (in a good way), we loved our time at Shed! We sat at the bar and immediately fell in love with our new favorite restaurant in Tofino and it’s staff. Specific shout out to Kyle and Roberto, who were behind the bar; they not only gave us great suggestions and served incredible drinks but also made us feel right at home. So much so that we might change our plans and return tomorrow! The food we ordered - a great blend of high-end and casual fare - matched what we already thought was an amazing experience. Would highly recommend Shed for anyone traveling to Tofino. Consider yourself lucky if you also get to meet the friendly faces behind the bar as we did!.Version: 54.3

Good food but not cheap, and need consistent serviceFood was delicious with good portion (well depends on what you choose). The duck confit was of good portion and yummy but the fish was in smaller portion. But very fresh ingredients. The service was good and the staff were friendly. The only disappointing thing was they did a birthday surprise for all the other tables with sparkles and a chocolate written message on a complementary cupcake but missed ours though we had noted “joint birthday celebration” in our reservation. Apparently they had missed our reservation notes. We were not expecting it initially but when the other three tables had the surprise and personalised touches and we didn’t get it… that left a disappointing distaste. Other than this, food and service were good..Version: 51.9

Fantastic Colonial Setting to treasureWe stumbled upon this beautiful old colonial house and fell in love with it! Shared our find with another couple who also had fallen in love with it. It has an elegance of a bygone age, with a local style of pottery that is beautiful and orientally stylish, for sale in the anterior gallery. It has a beautiful tropical garden setting at the back if you prefer an outdoor setting to the light spacious interior. The drinks selection is vast with the Raming local tea plantation’s tea highlighted. The Thai Satay Chicken was the best we have had while here in Chiang Mai. For it old fashioned elegance, delicious Thai food, lovely teas, and fruit drinks we have enjoyed there, this was our pick of the cafés we visited..Version: 49.9

Viking Cruise Venice to AthensWhat a remarkable 10 days. It was our first Viking Cruise and it was wonderful. The team that puts together the off ship tours is truly 5 star. The advertising on PBS is spot on. You really do have magical moments with the people of the country you are visiting. It is special and intimate. We had an operatic performance in a villa in Venice. The owner welcomed us to his family home of 700 years and served Prosecco from his vineyards. The performance of famous arias and duets was worthy of The Met. Bravo Don’t miss a day of touring they were all equally spectacular. Food off the ship is much better than on. The Italian Resturant was good. The Chefs table, poor. How many ways can you steam cod? How many courses can you embellish with “espoma “? I guess the answer is unlimited. Our Jr Suite was very spacious and the perk we especially used was free laundry and dry cleaning. The free mini bar was so so as it had lower quality liquor offerings. The crew was fabulous. Very kind and attentive. We look forward to our next Viking Cruise as the tours run seemlessly and are high quality..Version: 31.0

Amazing stay!We stayed 3 nights at W Koh samui. The team was amazing, and the staff are all very helpful, especially Ammie! She is beyond the service; great energy and very welcoming! I was lucky enough to meet up on my last two day and left me amazing experience. They provide great shuttle service to the airports or other attractions. I highly recommend to stay at W even during the rain season! We came to Koh samui around rain season but still had an great experience because of the staff. They make you feel like home! It’s a great resort to spend your vacation time!!.Version: 55.1

Love The App Except . . .One of the best Travel Apps available, with access to helpful reviews to help make better destination decisions. And because reasonable reviews help us make travel decisions, we also like to post solid reviews that might assist others. The one real difficulty with the Trip Advisor App is posting photos to reviews, even one’s own reviews. It seems that even when following Trip Advisor’s own HOW-TO directions, it is difficult to successfully add photos. Either the app wants access to all (thousands) of the photos on our devices, or using the “Profile/Intro/Upload The Photo/Add a Location Tag” method allows the app to see only the few photos in the “Camera Roll” and “My Photo Stream” folders, but will not allow access any of the specific “Albums” on our phone or tablet where individual trip photos are stored. If it wasn’t for the photo posting obstacle, the app would get 5 stars. It would be great if a simpler and more straightforward method was available for adding photos. Thanks very much..Version: 30.2

Good appI’ve never used trip advisor before, but it had a lot of cool planning features and I like how easy it is to use..Version: 56.5

Love this app but use improvementsI use this app almost every time we go to a new city to find what food is good and where to eat. That being said there are some improvements I would like to see. 1. For vegetarians and vegans the app can be a little difficult to navigate. One change I would like to see is in phrasing and searching filters. There is a difference between vegetarian/ vegan restaraunts and a restaurant having vegan/vegetarian options. The app currently does not show the difference which can be vexing. 2. Another change I would like to see is in the search. Often times i go on here to find food between point a and point b but currently there is not a way to search along that route or slightly off from it. Yes you can go through each address and see but for tourists this can be difficult and additional time to your task. It’s a good time to mention that even if these changes don’t occur I will keep using the app but it would be nice to see a change to help support those of us with different diets. And not just non-meat eaters but, gluten free eaters, paleo people or even those that have a lot of allergies to food such as nuts, milk, eggs and more..Version: 27.4

Alfresc restaurant,Alykes, zanteAwful place, waited over an hour for food which did not arrive! They weren’t bothered, and didn’t want to give us change for wine. Other couple waited the same and then when it arrived it was cold. Really bad experience, shame as it was our last night. Went to the Pitta place next door - excellent 😁.Version: 31.4.1

Yarra Valley wine cheese juice and chocolateJust finished an awesome trip with Joel and Go West tours through the beautiful Yarra Valley. We were a group of 8 in Melbourne for the Tennis. The tour is great fun Joel is funny and has entertaining stories about the history of the area. The two wine tasting stops were great with generous tastings and you could get extra tastings at the main bars if you were particularly interested. Lunch was good at a beautiful venue, cheese and juice stops were very yummy and the tour allowed us to cut through the crowds at the Yarra Valley Chocolate place for a very generous chocolate sampling. Delicious!!! Great day out. We had a stunning sunny day but it wouldn’t matter if it was raining. Thanks Joel I would highly recommend this tour..Version: 29.8

Married Couples Return to Mayfields Guest HouseWe took the train from Filton Abbey Wood to Winnersh and had a weekend away at Mayfields Guest House. When I return to the House I remember how it was set up before Paul and Lesley moved in and set up the bed and breakfast. Hand sanitizer was provided in the bedrooms. They have side tables where you can a conduct COVID19 test whilst on Holiday. They have USB chargers in the plug sockets in the rooms if you need to charge your mobile phone whilst on Holiday. We had a cereal and a cooked breakfast on two mornings. We met some friends at the Walters Arms which you can walk to. Our friends took us out by car to explore Wokingham and we had a bowling game and we had a meal out at the Warren. We think the food is better at the Warren but you would need to drive there but you can walk to the Walters Arms. We enjoyed visiting Nirvana and had a nice floatation treatment which is also within walking distance. The rooms are clean, and provide all the amenities you will need. The breakfast options are varied, and the owners Paul and Lesley are very friendly and welcoming. Whilst I may be considered biased, as I used to live here back when my parents owned the property (before it was converted to a guest house), I would say that I would have no issues recommending Mayfields Guest House..Version: 44.7

I use often but some improvements could be madeI find entering dates on the calendar for stays ‘clunky ‘ and slow. As a frequent reviewer I receive updates saying ‘nearly at this level’, ‘only 1 review away’ etc but there really is zero incentive to post reviews as no redeemable points, upgrade certificates etc so unsure why you even often points system. I post often because I think it’s useful for readers and as I use reviews myself so much..Version: 39.2

Most amazing experienceNot sure where to begin in my review if this company and those working for it. Right from the start of planning, Fauziah was the most amazing to deal with. She was flexible knowledgeable and always responded to my questions and concerns in a timely and respectful fashion. I cannot say enough about her level of professionalism and thoroughness. Completely outstanding. Our guide for the 9 days was Dixon. He was so knowledgeable about the animals birds floral etc. we learned so much from him. He was so skilled in finding the animals for us and did everything he could to ensure all our dreams and expectations of a safari were met. He consistently checked in with us to ensure our needs were met. One of the most endearing qualities was his obvious respect and love for the animals. We were a group of 5 women who love animals so much and Dixon totally met our needs here. He was so patient when we wanted to watch the simplist of animals and was open to all our crazy questions. He ensured we got as much fame driving as we wanted. He met our needs in terms of tenderness and live of the animals and one could tell this wasn’t just a job for him. He was passionate about what he was seeing out in the game reserves. We always felt completely safe with him and trusted him with our lives. He never once let us down. Our experience was beyond what we were expecting. Right from the start of exploring a safari to the completion of our trip I cannot say enough amazing things about this company and Dixon their guide. Highly recommend..Version: 55.1

Ghost walking TourThis was a 2hr walking tour covering quite a lot of Oxfords main attractions and also visiting side roads you wouldn’t necessarily have visited. Guide was very friendly and made sure we all understood the H&S rules for walking the streets at night - Be aware of cyclists coming around corners. She made sure everyone was present at every stop along the walk. There were 20 of us on the walk so she did a head count at each stop. She was very knowledgable regarding the history of Oxford and the colleges as well as making the stories of Ghost sightings interesting. The only negative which was no fault of the Guide was motor bikes and Police/Ambulance Sirens. She would stop till they passed before continuing with the story. For someone with heating problems this was a bit tough but I tried to get in the front line so I could hear her better. But that was my only negative. I would say if it was raining it could have been rather unpleasant..Version: 46.7

Hanoi travelling in good hands.Enjoyed my time in Hanoi with Odynovo travels and in particular with tour guide Leo who was charismatic, knowledgeable and humerus, sharing with us in much detail the history of Vietnam and current day Vietnam as well as our driver Chung who expertly navigated our routes and with whom we always felt we were in very safe hands..Version: 56.2

Best BBQ in ChristchurchI’ve been smoking meats on an offset for a few years now so any chance I get, I’ll hit a bbq place to save me managing a fire for 12+ hours. I was in Christchurch for a few days for work and work mates were really talking up another joint (no I won’t say which one). Needless to say, it was very disappointing. Fatty brisket, dry chicken and sausages. Any-who, the following night I hit up Google and found this place. Praise Jesus! It’s the one. Staff were friendly, place is funky, beers are good (and I’m not really a craft beer guy, more Jack Daniels) but plenty of choices. Food was quick. Serving size was decent. Best part though, the brisket held its form. Nice smoke rings. Fat beautiful rendered. No dumb rubs, just salt and pepper I’m picking. Pork belly was also excellent with a great sticky sauce. Side sauces were very nice. Nice great simple bbq where the meat shines. Highly recommended. Next time I’m down I’ll try the other meats..Version: 47.3

Boutique travel agency of my ownThis is been the best addition to our travel adventures. We get the chance to do some great trips and I’ve found some amazing experiences and accomodation with trip advisor. I love it because I like to know I’ve checked all options and got a good deal..Version: 29.4.1

Invaluable app when travellingAlthough it depends on data and signal, the Trip Advisor app has been so important this trip. I’ve needed to find accommodation in busy towns, things to do when we have the time, affordable but decent food options. The only issue can the accuracy of distance from a CBD is questionable at times. Not always a big problem if I’m already in the town/city. I’m not sure I’d relay solely on Trip Advisor if I were in a rush..Version: 32.4

Amsterdam to Budapest river cruiseLast month we travelled on the Amaverde ship from Amsterdam to Budapest. We travelled with APT and will definitely travel with them on our next trip. Staff on the ship went out of their way to look after us and everyone on board. The cruise was well organised and the excursions were very efficiently run with such knowledgeable guides to provide us with a wealth of information. If I could remember a quarter of it I would be doing well. The food was outstanding and the service and hospitality was fabulous. Entertainment provided was good also. Everyone was catered for. The level of care for a few passengers who had ailments was beyond the call of duty for the staff member who looked after them. There was so much to see and do at each port of call that made it a trip to be remembered. At the conclusion of our journey we went over the whole trip and decided we could not fault them on any aspect. If you want to be looked after like a prince and princess they are the company to travel with..Version: 33.6

A tad confusing at times.I’ve been reviewing, hotels, restaurants & places of interest from many places, here in Australia, the UK, USA & parts of Europe, for some years now. I’ve recently been on & am seeing my reviews still sitting waiting to be submitted. When I submit, it then shows up as already submitted. I’m either doing something incorrectly or the system is getting confused. Not a major problem, however I don’t want to submit the same review twice. Also I’m concerned that some places may be sending in fake reviews. I stayed at a B&B in Kings Lyne last year based on some good reviews. It was awful , so I was very disappointed that I’d chosen if for its good reviews from TripAdvisor! Also when I posted my review of said B&B it was responded with scathing remarks from the owner, of which I had no option for supporting my original comments. Whilst I don’t want to have an online slanging match, I would like to be able to back up my comments in a mature & reasonable way !.Version: 32.2

Buckden TowersI took my Enfield National Trust Group to Buckden Towers last week. Firstly visiting the beautiful Knot Garden which had been replanted to give visitors the view Catherine of Aragon would have seen. What an interesting period of history - we were riveted by the tales of Henry VIII and his long suffering wife. Our guides (Friends of Buckden Towers volunteers) had a great wealth of knowledge and were very entertaining. We visited the Tower, the Church and learned about the current owners (the Claretian Missioneries). Lastly we sat in the beautiful grounds surrounded by ancient trees and had tea and biscuits on the lawn. If ever there was a place that makes one feel at peace with the world, then it is here at Buckden Towers. A big thanks to Christine for organising our visit and the other volunteers. The whole process was seamless and great value for money. Do go and be surprised by this little hidden gem..Version: 54.1

UsefulHaving the mobile app is a godsend. That little blue dot that shows where we are is invaluable. Love being able to look up all the info that we need plus being able to ask questions and get answers to travel questions is amazing. Thanks Not sure of the new format though..I cannot navigate this stupid site anymore.. when is the travel map? How can I find all my reviews from a certain place, from years ago without having to scroll through for ages.. this it appalling and the help site is useless.. Cannot stand all the features of the new format. There is stuff floating around at the bottom of my page when I’m just trying to look up things. If I wanted to look at a review that I had done a year ago in a specific town I can’t find it unless I scroll right through the whole thing which is just stupid. You can’t seem to be able to look at other people‘s profiles. Just hate hate hate this, Please get it back to the way it was.Version: 29.3

Hasbi affanThe very first time I came here , and the ambiance I found it is truly breath taking . Went to the pool side , the best part the view of side by side pool side , I reckon that it’s the best hotel in dhaka gulshan right now . And it is gonna hit the town undoubtedly. Last but not the least . I must have to mention, the customer service is world class. They are fully focused dedicated with their behaviour they truly working on after sales service also , which is very gung ho for the team to cheer up the customer’s. Mr Zaheen , I must say he is a damm good service provider, he knows very well how to sale him self as well as customer, he is visionary . Also Mr Bari and Mr red wan also provided the best service as well. Wish them good luck . And I must come inshsalla again and again if they keep up their service on this benchmark..Version: 39.6

Lovely apartment hotelJust home from 11 nights in this beautiful part of Crete. On arriving , 2am , we where left cold food and beer in the fridge which was very welcome after the long journey . From the morning we arrived to when we departed , all the staff where amazing , Sofia, Anna ,Maria , Kostas the chef .. just a perfect stay. Hotel is central to the beach and bars and shops the bottomless lake is 10 mins walk away as is the Marina where you can go on tours of Spinolnga island . The hotel only has a small pool but as you are 2 mins from the beach this didn’t matter . We had a sea view room and the views where stunning .The room is big and airy , Air con is perfect , bed and pillows very comfy too . We were all inclusive and the food and wine where delicious . We will definitely be returning to the island and these apartments in the future ..Version: 53.0

A good review about the APP...not my Pizza :)Loving the App reviews that are about people’s holidays and food experiences rather than the App itself....bless them ! I love Trip Advisor and have been using it for years. I am more excited about the upcoming changes I have been emailed about today.........very interesting and a fresh approach to joining this great community with a healthy social media aspect too....what could be better. I think the whole App works well and gives people a really good broad mix of opinion about a place. You just have to be mindful that there are grumpy upset customers who take to Trip Advisor to vent. No establishment can be 100% perfect all the time and if you catch the one bad day and moan on TA then you risk loosing a generally great place future custom. So be aware of this and look at the overall ratings not just the last Mr Angry. It’s easy to navigate, covers most of the world and gives great hints & tips from people who know and have been that can save you time, money and inconvenience..Version: 28.0

The service is EXCEPTIONALPeep the scene: Date night… I have a reservation for 6PM. We arrived closer to 6:15 because of traffic. I’m greeted by a amazing hosts who walks us up to the top floor to see their colleague and she gives us an option to sit by the outside to watch the sunset while we eat! Of course we take it. We are immediately greeted by Raul and Santos. This two were TOP TIER. From drink suggestions to food recs… they Delivered the glory! We order drinks and food. Raul informs us that food will be 25 mins and suggest we walk around the restaurants to take in the full experience. We do. We take pictures and get the best of the best. Before we know it Raul tells us our food is at the table. We have an incredible meal. The Salmon and Seabass was delicious. For dessert Santos suggest one of the specials. We agree. He comes back to inform us that they unfortunately are out… BUT WAIT… he suggests a Honey Dessert…. And it’s Phenomenal! I say all that to say! Absolutely I’ll be suggesting this to my friends and All the staff here are great! Thanks Raul and Santos! Scored a big one here! Shout out to Gilbert too. He was cool peeps!.Version: 55.5

Expert Advisors!I had a wonderful time in Orlando, thanks to the great advice from Tripadvisor. Here is my review of some of the attractions I visited: SeaWorld Orlando: This was a fantastic place to see amazing marine animals and enjoy thrilling rides. I loved the Dolphin Days show, where I got to see dolphins perform incredible tricks and learn about their conservation. I also had a blast on the Mako roller coaster, which was fast and smooth. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the park was clean and well-maintained. Universal's Islands of Adventure: This was a dream come true for me, as I am a huge fan of Harry Potter, Jurassic Park, and Marvel comics. I felt like I was in the movies as I explored the different themed areas and rode the immersive attractions. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter was especially magical, with the Hogwarts Express, Hogsmeade, and Diagon Alley. I also enjoyed the Jurassic Park River Adventure, where I encountered dinosaurs and got soaked by a huge splash. The Incredible Hulk Coaster was another highlight, as it launched me into a high-speed adventure. The Wheel at ICON Park: This was a relaxing and scenic way to see Orlando from above. The wheel was huge and impressive, and the capsules were spacious and comfortable. I got to see the skyline, the lakes, and the theme parks from different angles and heights. The ride was smooth and slow, giving me plenty of time to take pictures and admire the view. I highly recommend these attractions.Version: 53.8

Meriton suites Campbell street, SydneyWe arrived straight from the airport early in the morning and proceeded to Meriton suites in Campbell street, Sydney. We were greeted with lovely welcoming smiles by the staff st the front desk. Our intention was to have our luggage stored till check in. We were asked politely if we could wait a moment on the comfortable couches in the foyer and to our delight, Siebert came up to us confirming that our rooms were ready and he could take us up to them straight away. This was 10:30am!!! We also had specific needs for one of our guests and all our needs were attended to with ease and nothing seemed to be a problem. Our rooms were stylish, comfortable, spacious and practical. You could stay here for a week and feel like you were at home away from home. The apartments are close to paddy’s markets and Darling Habour and the walk to circular quay is about 30-40mins. I would happily stay here again in the future..Version: 29.8

Littlecote House HotelWe have just returned from a weekend of music and lots of fun at Warners Littlecote House Hotel. We didn’t pick the best weekend for weather but that didn’t stop us from having a great time. From Simply Rod Stewart on Friday and Disco Inferno on Saturday and finishing on Sunday with The Bohemian Rock Show by the fabulous entertainment team it was non stop singing and dancing rock and roll weekend. Also a special mention for Chrissie who was our team member who took us on The Kennet Valley Horse Drawn Barge Trip. In the worse weather conditions you could imagine she took care of us and entertained us throughout the day. The Barge trip was so worth it, just going along enjoying the peace and quiet of the countryside. Chrissie even brought carrots for the Shire horse when he finished the trip. Well done everyone at Littlecote House Hotel..Version: 53.6

Adventure cycling around Lake VictoriaWe recently had the lucky experience of cycling with James from Red Dirt around the shores of Lake Victoria. Our trip started with a boat trip from Port Bell across the bay to a peninsula. 30 mins from the hectic busy streets of Kampala we were cycling through countryside on tiny unmade roads. James expertly led us through the countryside and we saw many things that wouldn’t have been available by car, in fact we didn’t see any cars. A few boda bodas including one carrying a native canoe which took up the whole of the track- sadly we had just stowed the camera and had to cycle fast to get out of the way! James was excellent at pacing the ride and he was extremely patient. We managed 14km on our morning together. Would definitely recommend trying this out even if you’re not a die hard cyclist( I’m not!).Version: 49.7

Luxury Experience in Polignano A MareWe had the good fortune to stay for a week at Masseria Le Torri on our recent trip to Puglia . Hosts Mimmo and Silvana oversee every detail of this amazing property, from the refined elegance of the rooms , the exceptional menu at the restaurant and the personal service that they extend to each and every guest. We have nothing but praise for all of the staff , who went above and beyond to make our experience the most memorable of our time in this region. Marino, Sonia and Giuseppe were exceptional and were always happy to give us tips on local places to visit and the best way to navigate our way around . A most memorable holiday that we will remember for many years to come. I would highly recommend Masseria Le Torri … you will love it !!.Version: 53.4

Best Western Thurrock HotelThis hotel was nice but seriously lacked disabled facilities!!!! After check in which was great I had to struggle with 23 steps to first floor to my room that had nothing for a disabled person. It was quite big but had no grab rails in the bathroom or higher toilet . I spent my whole overnight stay in the room as I was so scared and anxious of having to attempt the stairs again!! Hotel does provide evening room service but you have to go to the restaurant for breakfast! We had to take our bags to the car first then when hubby returned we then came downstairs me so scared for our brekkie. Access and seating in the restaurant was good . Help yourself to continental but cooked breakfast is served by the staff. Very covid safe! I can’t believe in 2022 this hotel lacks disabled facilities! Outside there is a ramp for access to the hotel .No lifts available at all. Staff were polite and caring at all times. It’s not their fault. Best Western get it sorted!!!.Version: 49.1

Best Japanese Brunch in MontrealAdmired by Shushuto vibe and decorations. The restaurant is so fancy and modern. I really fall in love with their Japanese Original French Toast. The bread is so soft, it’s melted in my mouth honestly. Mimosa with a twist of litchi flavor just blows me away. Highly recommend!.Version: 57.2

Mr & Mrs Hannon’s Mumbai tripWe have stayed a number of times at Comfort Inn Heritage & it has always been a pleasure. One more time we were treated extremely well by Shradda & Jabir at reception, it made us feel very warm & welcome. Having meals at the restaurant we were always welcomed by Satish with a big smile for breakfast and he always saw to our every need and not only us I saw him dashing around with food and looking after other customers too 😊 Last but not forgetting Farooq, Popat & Priyanka from housekeeping who also saw that we were made welcome. They have all become close friends now and I will always stay at your hotel with excellent staff like them. Keep up the good work and will see you’ll soon again. Lots of love from New Zealand 🇳🇿 ❤️.Version: 47.0

Amazing staffWe booked half board at this hotel for 7 nights. The location is fantastic. It’s on the beach, opposite the Dubai eye, in the city centre, restaurants, bars, shops all on your doorstep. Absolutely perfect. The hotel is exceptionally clean. Bedrooms spacious, clean and comfortable. The only downside was the Al a cartes. They advertise 5 but really there were only 3. You can have breakfast and dinner at the buffet restaurant. Lunch is only at the poolside, where there is a very limited seating area and there is hardly any variety of food. However, Hashim at reception took care of us and we had lunch at the Italian Motorino restaurant which I would highly recommend. The food was the best Italian 👌👌 Staff, absolutely brilliant! The pool area was very small. Apart from a couple of small things mentioned above, overall, we had an absolutely wonderful time in Dubai. We booked all our excursions at the hotel with Amir who was brilliant. All the excursions booked at the hotel were a 5* experience. The staff went over and above board to make sure we were well looked after throughout our stay. Tej at the poolside was very friendly and always looked after us. Sendyka the room service young man, was brilliant. Room was always clean with fresh towels, toiletries tea and coffee. Thank you to all the staff at JA Ocean View for looking after us and going above and beyond. The hotel should be very proud of their staff because that’s what makes our experience amazing 👏👏.Version: 54.7

Moa Tours - High Country Stations, Gardens and GoldfieldsNovember is a great time of year to take this seven day trip - the weather was perfect, the countryside green and the rhododendrons and azaleas in magnificent bloom. The five high country stations (and one low country farm) were spectacular and interesting, with friendly and informative hosts. Our accommodation was good, and the food superb. Graeme, our driver and guide, looked after us well and enlightened us on the geology of the area. Highly recommended..Version: 49.8

Excellent stay and wonderful hospitalityThoroughly enjoyed our stay . The resort is opulent and the staff are even more generous with their kindness and attention. Excellent location clean beach, nice plush rooms well stocked even with safety razors and tooth paste and brush. So many pools and all well maintained. Beach is very clean and you can spend all day if you want just watching the water and passers-by and ordering your favourite drinks , if you want to just relax..Version: 53.0

Great app but was Better one edition agoTripuAdvisor has so many applications, it makes the ideal traveling companion. It is possible to find things, write reviews, read other reviews all on the move. One feature that has disappeared is the facility to add dates to your trips, and then have the program order your interests by date. Please bring it back ! The other thing that is a bit annoying is that when you print a trip summary, the address and phone numbers are not shown, so it is necessary to go to each site to get them. This tripled the amount of paper I had to carry with me, so please can we have this feature back..Version: 32.6

Great leisure appTripAdvisor does a lot of things well. It’s a review site for holidaymakers or people looking for something fun to do around where they are. The app has an easy interface for people looking to research things to do around where they are. It’s “top 10 lists” are easy to scan through. You can submit reviews directly in the app, send your photos as well. They seem to list almost every business that’s worth going to - i can’t recall not being able to find a place I’ve been to, that wasn’t listed on their site. The reviews are reliable, with high ranking places usually being worth the hype..Version: 45.0

Stay at Address Beach Resort DubaiWe spent 5 nights at the Address Beach Resort in Dubai Sep2023. From the check in ask the way through, we met amazing people that made our stay unforgettable. Wherever we went in the hotel, whether it was the crew at the Beach Bar n Grill, the incomparable team at The Restaurant ( Beth, Khushi, Avnish, John and others) or the Li Brasil , all made us feel happy, welcomed. The rooms were spotless and comfortable. Any special requests were easily catered for. The amenities and comfort through out the hotel were a welcome after a very humid and hot days outing. The highest infinity pool in the world is definitely something to experience besides the other pools around the hotel. Amazing hotel and even more amazing people that make the hotel function as a unit..Version: 54.0

The ultimate travel accessory.Wonderful app! Trip advisor is my constant companion when travelling. It’s fantastic for finding things to do and places to eat in locations that are new to me. Love reading reviews - we often read helpful tips that help us avoid mistakes or to save time. Could be made better by having an option to review the things you’ve booked - from the past bookings tab. Too hard to find many if the tours as there are many many ‘skip the line’ companies. Look forward to trip advisor adding this easy review feature?.Version: 34.5

Great for deciding up to date options for dining or hotelsGreat app for helping choose where to eat, what the standard is currently like, and options for staying in hotels/motels. Always best to make a realistic contribution to ensure data in data out makes the reviews reliable.Version: 36.8

Great reliable appGreat app my go to advisor for all my trips overseas and what to do in each place plus fares prices of attractions . Also reviews from other people who have done it before you and what’s worth or not worth doing before you shell out your money . Plus best times of the year to go for sunshine snow etc and good quality hotels near to public transport and in a city locations.Version: 26.4

Heron Island- Pristine, just divine, with wonderful staffAs you approach Heron Island all you notice are the various shades of stunning aqua blue water. I was so overdue for a break from work, all I wanted to do was snorkel, dive and sleep. The staff The General Manager Andreas is marvellous- genuinely friendly and accessible- and when he says he wants you to relax and “if you want anything at all, nothing is too much trouble” he really means it. My diet is tricky and my diving skills were WAY out of date- and the restaurant staff were so friendly, accommodating and helpful; and the dive shop staff were AMAZINGLY skilled, fun, kind, patient and helpful. I cannot speak highly enough of the dive shop staff and boat drivers- 10 out of 10. The other guests were also very friendly. The reef The reef was pristine and divine, colourful fish, turtles swimming past and under me when I was snorkelling and diving, I watched a manta ray at a cleaning station for ages- the water was so clear, and there were so many different types of coral. The educational tours were genuinely educational and increased my understanding and appreciation of the reef and all the contributions the different critters make to life on the reef. Staying there TRULY lifted my spirits- it’s a very healing place. Suggestions for travellers: Bring fresh water to drink and a TON of Sorbolene from Gladstone on the ferry (the salt water and desalinated shower water really dried my skin out!!).Version: 38.6

Excellent App and easy to use on phone or tablet. The App is very user friendly and makes adding reviews or searching for reviews very simple.I have found on some occasions trying to select a radio button was very difficult but that was the only tiny issue. It amazes me that when reading reviews for this App you find users reviewing restaurants and hotels and everything BUT the App!!! You possibly begin to understand why some reviews are bad when you have a good experience at the same place. If the reviewer has no clue at all what they are doing and they are reviewing a hotel in the App review area in iTunes things start to become clear. You need a way of filtering out the users with double digit IQ’s :).Version: 23.8

Hooked on T/AI have been using TripAdvisor for the last ten years and find it indispensable in planning accommodation, food and activities. Particularly where there are a decent number of reviews you can be fairly comfortable that the overall rating is accurate. I could not consider planning any decent excursion without consulting the app👮‍♂️❤️.Version: 38.6

Excellent place for great food and so much fun!!Loved this place so much!!! Such a fun vibe The staff are fantastic! . Thanks to Flor, Claudia & Daniel for making this an unforgettable experience!! Not only was the food top notch and unbelievably delicious. But the drinks were fabulous - especially their house made tequila And you might even see a donkey roaming thru…. And hear 1,2 3 Andales!!!! Whenever someone takes a shot. Great place. Check it out.Version: 54.6

Sentendo Neptun Hotel in Sunny Beach BulgariaExcellent hotel . Beautiful decor and large modern rooms. Very efficient and friendly staff. Plates were quickly cleared from the table and everything was spotlessly clean. We were a bit unlucky with the weather which was very windy and cool. After having had scorching weather in May a few years ago we didn’t expect it. This meant we couldn’t use the outside seating areas in the evening. The comfortable Lobby Bar was quite small for the amount of guests and was not included in the All Inclusive package. This meant having to go to another bar (dining room) to get a drink and either sit in another area or take it to the Lobby Bar and try to find a seat......At least in the height of Summer there would be plenty of outdoor seating. Wouldn’t go back in May again, but would definitely recommend this beautiful hotel..Version: 52.4

This is the best place to find ratings and details about hotels, restaurants, etc.I evaluate most of the hotels, restaurants, and local sights on TripAdvisor. I only rarely have to give bad ratings since I have checked in advance on TripAdvisor. By reading many reviews you can quickly get a good idea of each rated place. Note that some reviewers are always negative - either they are never satisfied or they are so grumpy that they have brought out the worst in everyone they meet. When hundreds of visitors have given a place “excellent” or “very good” ratings, usually the few bad ratings are due to such trolls. I usually do read several negative ratings - bad days do occur and there are flaws in everything and it can help you to notice those flaws - but if most people liked it, I will probably like it too. I have used “Yelp” at times for restaurant reviews (sometimes searching sends me to Yelp). It is ok, but I have not usually found it more convenient. I am less familiar with it - and I have never posted a rating there. If I have to sign in each time, this is the last time you will hear from me..Version: 33.8

I always check TripAdvisor before travelling anywhereGreat for information regarding places to go, stay, eateries, things to do etc. the reviews are great for helping you decide which places to go. It isn't so good for wheelchair access information though which is very frustrating..Version: 35.0

Excellent serviceWe got the superb service from Joel. He was extremely helpful. Listened to all our questions and queries patiently and responded politely. Highly recommend this service..Version: 55.5

Great App But Could Use ImprovementsI use TripAdvisor quite often to review my experiences at hotels, restaurants and attraction areas as well as read the reviews of others when deciding on areas and places to visit. It would be great if TripAdvisor would add cruise lines to their portfolio of things that can be reviewed as I am getting ready to take a cruise and would love to share my experience when I return. I have had some difficulties when trying to write reviews for locations or places that are not yet listed in the app. This has been very frustrating as you do not realize that your review will not get published until after you go through all that effort to write the review and include pictures etc. Additionally, I would like to see some incentives or benefits for members that take the time to write all of these reviews to inform the general public of their experiences. I have written 105 reviews, and I have not yet received any type of incentives i.e. discounts to restaurants, hotels, attractions etc. Granted, I do not write these reviews for any type of reward. I write them because it benefits me when I read others reviews when trying to decide on things to do and places to go; however, I just think it would be nice for TripAdvisor to give some sort of gesture to show that they appreciate what we as reviewers do for them. Overall, I do enjoy using this app and will continue to use the app as needed because the benefits outweigh their need for improvements..Version: 26.0

Great for researchGreat App! I use this app for researching areas and hotels, using actual traveller reviews to gauge hotels etc. I would give it 5 stars however I find a couple of things a little annoying. If I'm planning a trip, each city would have different dates but I have to keep changing it. Plus when I receive emails with updates on prices I often get a different deal on the app itself or a blank page. One more thing about hotels, when using the filter can "parking" be included on the filter? At the moment it has " Free Parking" which is good however many hotels have parking available at a nightly rate. That said the forums are great to get other travellers advise. The app is also great for researching things to do in each area..Version: 24.2

Lothian motorcoach trip from EdinburghMy friend and I took a day tour with Lothian motorcoaches out of Edinburgh on 27Sept2019. Our driver was Ian and guide was Scott. Being the handsome lad he is, Scott really should have been in a kilt! Our day trip was to Loch Lomond, The Trossachs and Doune Castle. Now, being the Outlander fan that I am, when I found out this Castle was used as Castle Leoch in the Outlander,I was definitely all in. Thus trip did not disappoint. Scott really should be a stand up comedian. The “history lesson” was delivered in such a way that it was never boring! He had us all in stitches!! I would definitely recommend this trip and make sure to get Scott, if possible. Now, the “icing on the cake”for me was when Scott chased me four blocks after I got off the bus to return my purse that I had left on the seat!! Lord... what a life saver this man was! I will say, the ONLY thing that could have made this trip better, was for Scott to be in a kilt!! I mean, it IS Scotland after all. Pamela D. Florida. USA.Version: 33.4

Meal with a viewHave used the takeaway several times when we visit Tynemouth, which has always been fantastic for fish and chips or even the ice cream etc but having stayed overnight this time our son who’s always here in Tynemouth (as his girlfriend lives local) recommended visiting The View for our breakfast. We were not disappointed, firstly we arrived 10 minutes after the breakfast menu had finished (11:30am) due to having a late start and a walk on the beach 🤦🏻‍♂️. We were shown to a seat by Leanne who was very polite and welcoming, my wife explained that she would have like to have tried the avacado with eggs on toast but unfortunately we had missed the chance by being late, Leanne said it wasn’t an issue and she would put in the order and not to worry, I ordered the bacon 🥓 roll (can be ordered outside breakfast menu) We also ordered a Latte and Americano as well to accompany our food. Whilst we were waiting taking in the scenery of Longsands beach, Leanne called back over offering us a window seat if we wanted, going out of her way yet again to make our experience even more rememberable. The food arrived promptly, was well presented and tasted delicious. We Can’t recommend The View enough, great food, fantastic service and at a reasonable price. Definitely be back👍 5*.Version: 53.6

Goto app for finding restaurantsI am always suspicious of restaurant reviews however tripadvisor gives peer to peer reviews which give you a good feel of what the restaurant and food is like..Version: 39.6

Useful but you often find listings linked to wrong locationUse app often but find some listings noted as linked to one area but actually located in another area (ie, restaurant comes up in CBD search but is actually 20-40km from the CBD). Appears whoever lists business may note overall area and postcode doesn’t override or correct that. Useful to find reputation of places but local knowledge of areas can be handy..Version: 29.8

Thank you Miguel and all staff at Dreams FloraWhat a fabulous week for our family of four including our teenager daughters. The food, drinks, rooms, pool, beach were amazing. However, the hospitality from all staff made the difference for our vacation. Miguel, our butler was particularly attentive to our needs and made all events seamless. We will be back and highly recommend this 5 star resort to friends and family..Version: 53.7

It’s a very useful app but has some flawsI can’t leave home without it as it helps bring the world to me. Reviews and recommendations are typically spot on. However, it can be a bit clumsy when it comes to searching. I put in day trips/tours in Dar es Salaam and I keep getting safari results for 3-15 days. Not sure what part of “day” the app does not understand. Also, I booked a trip that has not existed for about a year and was none refundable. When I tried to cancel on the app, it warned me that I would lose 100% of the cost. I reached out to the tour operator via WhatsApp and fortunately, they were gracious enough to inform me that they no longer do that tour and will fully refund. TripAdvisor needs to stay on top of operational tours. Finally, whenever I book a tour through TripAdvisor, things generally go smoothly except for when they don’t. The reply button to the tour operator contained within the confirmation email seldom works. All in all, I enjoy using this app as my go to travel companion. I don’t even need to research ahead of time (I know, lazy right? ;) and the idea that I can travel on the fly and have TripAdvisor app do all the legwork is ever so appealing. It would have been 5 star but for all the issues listed above!.Version: 32.4

Mondulkiri elephant SanctuaryWonderful experience. The trek was tough, but our guide altered the pace and helped me on tricky parts. Elephants seemed content, and their Mahuts told us what each elephants personality was like. I wonder if they might in time become over enthusiastic with getting to the bananas. Because I got nudged off a log when no banana could be found!!.Version: 50.3

Bruny Island Safari’s gourmet food and lighthouse tourOur experience started smack on 7am from our Hobart CBD pickup point. Tour guide Phil was informative and maintained a good level of “chuckle” throughout. The Sea Change tragics amongst us all agreed we’d met Diver Dan’s doppelgänger. Phil builds out the Bruny Island food story and the movers and shakers behind the scenes. Our first stop of oysters, cheese and sour dough hit the spot. Spectacular views from the lighthouse as well as the lookout at the neck of the island. The stops to follow from the main meal to the boutique fudge were a delight. Look out for the specials list at the pub as even though my scallops were delicious, I was trumped by my wife’s crushed cashew encrusted catch of the day. Next time! This tour is a must..Version: 30.2

Amazing experienceWe arrive Nov. 1st after 18 hours of travelling including the lay overs and we are very very tired most specially my Baby who’s 1 year old and 6 months, and we reach our hotel 7pm and upon check in this wonderful man named NICO who gave us a warm welcome and a lovely greetings fade away our tiredness, and we feel so relax on how he treat and welcome us here at Courtyard by Marriot, second day we went to the restaurant for some meals and we meet ANUKA the waitress again the greeting and smile was so lovely and very normal to all of the staff here , ANUKA serve us like we’re very important guest which we feel so happy and we deeply appreciate that. Now we meet NINI in the Reception who help us everything we need in the hotel, she’s really perfect in front office as here personality and character was joyful and approachable mostly she’s amazingly beautiful. Lastly I would love to thank you courtyard by Marriot hotel for sending us a wine and sweet treats for greeting and sending BEST OF LUCK of my wedding. We highly recommend this Hotel as in GENERAL they’re doing a great job. All the staff is 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 👏🏽🙌🏽👌👍🏼 Keep up the good work and we absolutely will come back here. Thank you so much and will see you again soon.Version: 49.7

Huff House Inn and CabinsCan’t say enough nice things about this inn. It is one of the best places we have stayed in this or any other country. From the start, the communication was excellent. The staff worked around our schedule to accommodate us. The main building in the inn is historic and charming and the staff is courteous and helpful and always ready to make things as comfortable as possible. The breakfasts are generous and delicious. There are fresh baked cookies every afternoon. We asked to keep wine in the kitchen refrigerator and the answer was “of course.”. We also stayed in the hotel building, where the rooms were large, comfortable and equipped with refrigerators, microwaves and gas fireplaces. The grounds are lovely and have several sitting areas as well as two hot tubs. There is a guest laundry facility that really came in handy. The manager on duty when we were there was Jeremy and he sets a highly professional but also welcoming tone for every guest. We would happily return to Huff House any time..Version: 43.7

Great, but let’s make it betterObviously I love the TripAdvisor app or I wouldn’t have written more than 150 reviews to date. Infact the app relies on folks like me giving unbiased advice to patrons and feedback to proprietors so everyone gets something useful out of it. So what’s in it for me apart from the warm glow? Well, how about information? With all the analytics around nowadays you’d think some anonymised stats about who is reading, for how long, what they did while they were there and afterwards (booked, wrote their own review, etc), demographics, was the proprietor one of them, etc. would be a good start. C’mon TripAdvisor, we know you have this data at your fingertips, so how about letting your collaborators in on it? One more thing; reviewers like me ought to be treated like the restaurant reviewers of old, ie. recognised at the point of booking, and treated decently when we turn up. I’m happy to acknowledge this in the review, if I write one. You figure out how to make it happen. Thanks..Version: 39.6

An amazing experienceWe had an amazing afternoon at Crocodiles of the World on Saturday. Our Son purchased a Nile Crocodile feeding experience so we spent a couple of hours enjoying the different mammals and reptiles, including watching the Meerkat feeding. The highlight however was the feeding experience. This was delivered by Tamsin who provided an essential health & safety briefing before going into the feeding platform. Tamsin was very knowledgeable and provided detailed answers to any questions I had. The first part of the experience was to distribute food to the crocs, where we tried to target the smaller crocs. This was easier said than done due to the frenzy that food hitting the surface caused. The second part was to encourage exercise and the natural behaviour of jumping for food by feeding from some long tongs. This was incredible and gave a true sense of their power. Thank you to all the staff for a very enjoyable afternoon but in particular Tamsin who provided the highlight of our visit..Version: 45.0

Best Day EverI had the privilege of being on this fabulous tour. Brett was prompt at my AM pick up and he was super kind enough to drive to Port Douglas to do so! He was fantastic at informing us about all the amazing flora and fauna and the amazing landscape of the Tablelands. We had a small group so it was good to get chatting and getting to know each other which I appreciated as a solo traveller. I wont go into detail about the tour because its detailed on his website but please know that I can’t stop telling everyone I am meeting on my travels about this wonderful day out, the excellent food and drink and the growers and owners who are so passionate about the area, their products and our environment. Top quality products, top quality tour! Thank you so much Brett as your tour will stay in my memory for a very long time. A must do if you are in the area!! Amazing tour and I highly recommend, Thank you so much Brett and Team..Version: 49.7

Be careful if you book through trip advisorWhile I like the app, I ended up paying far more than expected for a booking. I was searching for a villa, found one that looked just right, so I checked for flights, found some that were ideal and emailed for a quote that matched the flights I had found, the quote looked good so I went ahead and booked everything. Only after I had booked everything did I spot that the dates booked were based on my original search, not the dates I had asked to be quoted on, or the dates of the flights I had booked. Yes, I should have spotted it earlier, but, I was using my iPhone, so seeing the details of the quote was tricky until I got the confirmation email, and by then I had already booked the flights and could not change them, so instead had to change the villa booking, which ended up costing me another £600 more than expected. I will never book through trip advisor again, but it is still my favourite research tool..Version: 26.0

11 day detox programI have just finished my 11 day detox program and I feel amazing. Before I came to Orion I was living a very unhealthy life style and my mind wasn’t in the best place. This truly is the most perfect place to detox and concentrate on your self. The staff are lovely and very knowledgeable and supportive to your needs when going through the program. The setting is absolutely beautiful and I seemed to breeze through the fast as there was always something to do. If yoga is your thing this is the place. I’ve never done yoga but was made to feel very welcome in all the classes and the teachers went out there way to help me when I struggled with certain positions. There is a beautiful restaurant on site which specialises in healthy vegan food that I’ve got to say coming from a non vegan is absolutely beautiful and I’ll continue to eat there for the remainder of my stay. All in all I had an amazing experience here at Orion and would highly recommend the place. Thanks again🙏.Version: 38.0

Aviair Mitchell Falls Scenic Flight and HikeWhat an amazing day!! The scenic flight around the top of the Kimberly was beautiful. Our pilot, Tim, flew lower over the main attractions, affording us great photo opportunities. The hike to the Mitchell Falls was really great, incorporating some amazing aboriginal rock paintings, creek crossings, walking across the top of a waterfall and behind another, to be rewarded with spectacular, postcard quality photo options of the falls. If this wasn’t enough, the helicopter flight over the majestic Mitchell Falls was breathtaking. I highly recommend Aviair at Kununurra. Nothing was too much bother catering to dietary needs, attention to passenger comfort and assisting with the not so agile walkers. Thanks Tim for a fantastic and memorable day!.Version: 27.0

Trip Advisor AppI love the Trip Advisor App. It is easy to use and has a wealth of information. You can find information on hotels all over the world, destinations for travel and activities once you get there amongst so much more. There are recent reviews on the modes of transportation, restaurants and attractions. Therefore, you will read useful information and opinions. Just go to the App Store and download the app. Who knows? You may even become a reviewer of the places you've been, the sights you saw, the meals you ate at the many restaurants, or you can introduce new places or tours not listed, and Trip Advisor will research and verify there is such a place, notify you, and then you can write a review. How cool is that?! You can introduce not only the readers on the site to the new place but also you have introduced Trip Advisor to it! Use the app conveniently to find your travel needs easily or to just find a nice restaurant for lunch or dinner, then read reviews on it. Enjoy!.Version: 32.2

Great app for planning my tripsTrip advisor is fantastic, it’s often the first place I go when planning my next trip. Fantastic for planning and very handy while travelling, I refer to it a lot (probably a few times a day) while at my destination. I particularly like the opportunity to review my experiences and I always read TripAdvisor reviews before I book anywhere. I find they are unbiased and up to date providing me with an accurate expectation. The app is easy to use and is a cool way to keep track of the places you have visited and those you would love to return to. Currently using TripAdvisor at this moment to plan my next trip!.Version: 26.0

Superb Indian foodDon’t let the inside of “A Pinch of Spice” in Esk St Invercargill put you off. Pokey it may be, but the food truly top notch. My wife and I have dined in many Indian restaurants through out NZ and abroad. This one is top of the list. All three dishes we had were tasty and generous portions. The proprietor a very pleasant chap. You are bound to enjoy this dining experience..Version: 24.1.1

Mark Webber(Victoria BC)If you are considering a trip to Cuba and like to stay in Matanzas then I would like to recommend a real genuine caring family in a casa particular @Casa Manzaneda... I went to Cuba to experiance to culture, country and people. This family took great care of me upon my arrival as well kept in contact throughout my trip and assisted me in finding suitable accommodation along my travels. I went there to cycle around the island and the owners Felix of Casa Manzaneda speaks fluent english and was so generous in helping me out with everything..! I met many nice people in Cuba but my most memorable was my stay in Metanzas at Casa Manzaneda. It’s was such a nice experiance and place to stay~ I came back and stayed there again before flying back from Veredero... I have been travelling over four decades and know this has great value and promise you won’t be disappointed in staying here with this sweet family... Happy travels~~~.Version: 39.6

Easy to useI like knowing that the app usually gives me what I want. I have learnt to look hard at bad reviews ( ie just look at the reviewers history and you can see if they are a moaner or a fake first time reviewer ) I trust this site MORE than any other travel review site that is out there - you should too!.Version: 33.6.1

Reliable AppI rely on the Trip Advisor app to give me honest and accurate information about hotels, restaurants and activities. I encourage everyone who uses the app to give their ratings so everyone can benefit from their experiences..Version: 30.2

The Moorings RarotongaRecently had the opportunity to travel to Rarotonga on my 3 RD visit to this little gem. The Moorings cafe is Definately one to put on your list for lunch. We had the Ika Mata which was great & served with some yummy fried bread. Also had the tuna sushimi which was lightly seared & delicious. My husband had a fish burger which he said was very good. Don’t think you can go wrong here..Version: 42.7.1

Great value and serviceThis was our first stay in Canggu. We chose the Kirana due to its location and that it’s a smaller hotel. So glad we did! A deluxe ocean view room had a lovely bathroom with twin vanities, big shower and enormous bath. Also a nice big room, comfortable bed and balcony overlooking the construction (a fact of life in Bali and the developing areas)but also the ocean in the distance. Next door to our room was the beautiful spa (also great value) with lovely therapists. Breakfast was a lovely change from the enormous buffets of other hotels with choices of American, continental or Indonesian styles. Delicious, with variety and presented with flair. The location is within walking distance of the beach and good food and shopping. The only reason I’m not giving 5 star is that the pillows were a bit squishy for me and others may not like the noise of surrounding construction. We will be back..Version: 27.0

Never go anywhere without checking it on TRIP ADVISOR.What an informative and reliable site! Reviews on some places not always good, but we draw our own opinions as some are great. African Queen SupremeWe recently took this cruise while in Key Largo. It was so entertaining. The captain was entertaining and extremely knowledgeable relative to the movie with Humphrey Bogart and Katharine Hepburn. He was not only knowledgeable about the movie, but with personal information about the stars of the movie as well. It was fun especially when the ladies on board each did a reenactment of the scene where Katharine Hepburn poured a bottle of gin overboard while holding an umbrella with a perfect look of sustain on her face. The captain had wonderful black and white pictures of the stars in the movie. The tour was fun and since the passengers are limited to between 4 to 6, you got to know and have conversations with each other. And folks, the boat in which we took the cruise is the original African Queen used in the movie!!! Enjoy!❤️.Version: 54.9

TripAdvisor is both good start AND ending!I have long used TripAdvisor as one of my starting points when planning, or even just thinking about travelling. The information is almost always timely, especially when there is current information from contributors. Unfortunately, as I am a “Digital Dinosaur”, it has been a challenge for me to upload specific/designated information and some long-labored-over documents have yet to be accepted/published. This is very frustrating to me, especially when my information is very current & relevant. Also, I dislike not always getting instantaneously published, unlike some other competing websites. Oftentimes, once I’ve completed my odyssey, I need clarification of particular details, which I can find at their site. I both use and contribute to TripAdvisor. I highly recommend it, and it certainly gets my “Wheel of Approval!” FULL DISCLOSURE: I also own a bit of stock in this fine company,.Version: 39.6

Best way to plan a spontaneous tripI have used trip advisor for years for looking things up. Night awayArrived at the lodge and greeted by Elizabeth and Selwyn, offered drinks and settled into our room. Amazing views of the Tasman Sea from our room. Dinner was delicious, whitebait patties and Chicken Schnitzel all homemade from scratch. Dessert was decadent with strong chocolate flavours and delicious homemade ice cream. Our experience was made special by the sounds of native birds and the ocean. Relaxing night, room was very comfortable and pleasant to see the ocean view first thing. Breakfast in the morning was not disappointing as Elizabeth prepared fresh eggs, bacon, sausage and mushrooms along with toast from her homemade bread. Finished off our stay with a trip out on Radar the Argo on the beach with 360’s from Selwyn’s driving expertise was fantastic. Highly recommend this place it will not disappoint and great value for money. Look forward to seeing you both again. Definite 10/10 Linda.Version: 55.4

Always use TripAdvisor! Helps so much in travel advice .We try and take a yearly vacation and visit new place in our travels. As some, we save to have the best time, see as much as we can for great value. It’s always so helpful reading others experiences and thoughts. our trip to Germany last year we found amazing tours to several castles in a luxury coach. Trust me I was skeptical about spending a little extra $, but ready several different takes on it we were sold. Thank goodness we did, the other bus was packed as we had only30 people. It was amazing! We also used the advice of a smart travel in St. Lucia. A private van took us all over the island that the cost of a busy tour bus would of. Plus we we’re head of all the buses, so we beat the crowds. We even use TripAdvisor for restaurants when we head to different cities through the year. Yes, people have different likes but reading other reviews helps us find some awesome handed treasures. I could go on and on, but you just need use it, it’s a great way to help with some many things. Make your life easy be advised😎.Version: 32.4

Lombok and Gil IslandsWe had Kiki as our driver. FANTASTIC. He was on time (way ahead of us disembarking from the cruise ship). The car was clean, modern and had great air conditioning. Kiki was extremely informative and courteous and accommodating to all of our requests (4 of us). He got us safely to our boat and crew Ahmed and Irdi who got us around all 3 Gili Islands and took numerous photos and videos of us in the water with the GoPro. Pictures of us with beautiful fish, turtles and underwater statues before having an authentic Indonesian lunch on the island. They both were amazing and then they got us safely back to the mainland where Kiki was waiting for us. Back to the ship with our fantastic driver and started looking at all of the great… included at no extra charge … pictures. Johnny Tour Guide is THE ONLY way to go.Version: 56.1

InoutbarcelonatoursWe booked this tour to Monserrat from Australia and were delighted with our choice. We were picked up at our hotel promptly by our tour guide John. He was full of energy and information and also a lot of fun. There were only 6 of us so it was a very nice number and John looked after us very well. Monserrat is a beautiful place, full of history, and very peaceful and serene despite all the visitors. It is famous for the 800 year old Black Madonna, who is believed to perform miracles. There is a long line to touch her so try and take an early tour like we did and get to the queue quickly. The historic monastery is still the home of 50 monks and is also quite beautiful..Version: 33.0

Best restaurant in BangorFrom the moment we sat down, and served by Shane, who was marvelous. Top not service and helped us select from a super wine list. We had the mushroom pizza with extra Italian sausage and truffle oil. Yum! Thin crust which we love, was excellent. The calamari was right up there with the best I’ve had. Shane recommended the crème brûlée dessert, done in three different flavors. Not disappointed. The had outside see through tents which seemed lovely. The whole experience was wonderful following an early winter snow storm in the NE. Certainly on our repeat list. John & Marlene..Version: 55.4

Great AppI’m enjoying planning our families summer day trips and weekend trips using this app. For longer trips, I appreciate the feature that allows me to place certain attractions on different days of my trip. I would suggest however, being able to view only the events and attractions listed under a certain day. For example, I plan a 5 day trip to Washington DC that includes a total of 49 (!) attractions that I have divided as I wish to see them amongst the five day stay. It would be great if I could click on day two for instance, and only see the attractions and events that I planned for that day so that it would be easier to see where the locations are on the map and it would be more efficient to rearrange my itinerary according to attractions and events that are close to one another. Thank you for adding the “add note” section for each attraction, as I use to write in hours of operation and cost of events so I can see it at a glance..Version: 35.2.1

Wouldn’t be without it.When you visit a hotel, cafe or other location it invaluable to have prior feedback on the place in order that you can decide whether to visit or not, or if you do visit how you visit. Seeing a few negative reviews doesn’t really effect my decision to go, but I do look at the overall score to inform this. I appreciate that people have different likes and dislikes and take account of that, I can also spot those people who mark premises or attraction low because they’ve had a verbal issue on site and mark everything low for that one reason. Trip advisor seems to be able to provide a very good unbiased overall view of businesses and keeps this at a professional level without prejudice or favour. I also think that as a business owner the service is also invaluable, informing then when they get it right but also giving value feedback on things that need attention. Companies have spent millions in years passed to receive this kind of customer feedback to inform them of how they’re doing and the changes they need to make in the future. Keep it up..Version: 32.4

TripAdvisor is FabulousI had never heard of TripAdvisor until 2 years ago when my brother and his wife came to Cleveland. When I didn’t know how to get to Slyman’s (for the best corned beef and pastrami), my brother looked it up on TripAdvisor. Then when we were hungry for dessert (specifically custard), he pulls out his phone and looks up nearby custard/ice cream sellers and discovered Weber’s (the best vintage custard and ice cream!!) and Mitchell’s(fabulous gourmet milkshakes as well as marvelous ice cream)which we ended up indulging in on 2 different days! I was able to learn more about Northeast Ohio in the short time my brother was in town simply because he had a TripAdvisor app as his ‘go to’ for anything he wanted to see or do in the area! As soon as he went back to Texas, I got the TripAdvisor app for myself and have been thoroughly enjoying it and the places I have been able to visit and recommend as a result of his complete trust in its reliability and complete access to all the travel information he needs!!.Version: 34.5

We loved our Kyoto cycling tour our guide João was the best!My daughter and I took the Kyoto cycling tour last week -it was the highlight of our trip! Our guide João Nabais spoke perfect English and was so knowledgeable. He really looked after us and made sure we felt comfortable and safe at all times. The ride was fairly easy not too many hills .. and lots of stops for water etc. we visited shrines and temples and actually ride the Philosophers Path which was so special. We also loved riding along beside the river and canals-flat and scenic. We covered so much ground and learnt so much on this tour. We loved the ice cream stop too! João chatted away the whole time and was incredibly friendly and relaxed . I have already recommended this tour to friends who have plans to visit. 🚴‍♀️⛩💙👘🎏.Version: 26.8.1

Are all your reviews realDo you check any of your reviews are from real customers .Our favourite resort was Jewel Paradise Cove in Jamaica (believe it’s been sold to the Dutch). When we read some of the negative reports about staff, food, security, and quality of drinks, we find it hard to believe that the reviews were about the same resort, same country ,and in some cases the same Planet.....The other annoying fact is that you cannot amend simple mistakes ,for example I had not noticed I had entered 2028 when it should have been 2018. I tried to change the date seconds after submitting my review only to be informed that I would have to wait 3 months!!! Why??? And now that you have changed the layout of the whole app ,I notice that attachment photographs disappear from ones reviews and ,sorry, who cares about “Followers” etc. The App should be for assisting viewers book decent hotels, flights, and activities. WITH HONEST ,FACTUAL ,REAL GUEST REVIEWS . Nothing Else..Version: 29.4.1

Birthday Treat WeekendHad a lovely 2 night stay at The Burnside Guest House in Ayr. Perfectly located one street away from the Beach Promenade. Booking in was easy and the proprietor Paul let us leave our luggage till the 3 o clock check in. Room was on the second floor and was perfect for a 2 night stay. Fully equipped with en suite, complimentary toiletries, kettle, mugs, coffee/tea/sugars/milk. Fresh linen and towels. Great view of sea and and Arran. Full power shower was amazing. The breakfast choices were great. We opted for full Scottish breakfast which was piping hot and fresh tea along with toast and orange juice. Also plenty choices of cereals too, if required. The owner Paul was really a lovely knowledgeable chap and made us feel very welcome. We will Definately choose this fab Guest House when next we are in Ayr for a short break. Definately worth the 4 stars x Thank you Paul 👍.Version: 52.7

Great service and delicious meals at George & Dragon, Epping. We met up with friends at The George & Dragon, Epping , for a birthday celebration lunch, last Saturday (4th Nov. 2023) . Although Leila has left this branch as her services are needed in another branch, her replacement, Carly, is following in her footsteps, maintaining the great management with her team. We were served by Luke and Matt, both very pleasant, friendly , accommodating, engaging and , providing service with a smile. Keep it up folks,as you are all doing a great job. That is why the restaurant was so packed . It says it all! We all enjoyed our meal and the service we received and the pleasant interaction with those who served us, were very much appreciated. We will be coming back , even though we are quite a distance away from Epping . Well done guys and keep up the good work. Wishing you all the very best for Christmas and a Happy New Year. Bill’s Front PorchHidden Gem in Wilmington especially when you get to see and hear Folkstone Stringband! Lucky enough to be at Bill’s Front Porch when they had live music with a phenomenal Bluegrass Band named Folkstone Stringband! Beers are housemade and the new “Christmas Pants” is smooth and not too sharp. With the romaine lettuce scare, salads are a little slack but still delicious 🍁 quesadilla s are delicious especially the brisket. Their cheese dip is house made but is a little floury not cheesy enough . The craft brews are great with a variety of taste experiences. From the sharp citrus based IPA’s to the smooth new Christmas brew called “Christmas Pants”. By far the smoothest of all the craft brews Bill’s makes. Two members of the waitstaff are the best I’ve encountered. Lindsey and Sandy are some of the best waitstaff I have had. Attentive and on top of everything. Ask for them, you won’t be sorry. They are great!!! Overall Bills is a great eating and drinking establishment, Good food and beverage, but add the great music of Folkstone Stringband and you have a winning combination!.Version: 29.0

Lochend chalets and Nick Nairns restaurant and Julia Nairn ‘Home’ shopThis is now our second year of visiting this venue. The chalets are lovely, super cosy and have everything you need, especially in the kitchen including a washer/tumble dryer. We can see the lake from dining area and have an abundance of ducks, pheasants and little birds including a red breasted nuthatch that visit most days. The shower is super hot and supplied with soft white towels. It is the most tranquil place I have ever stayed. We are surrounded by woodland and life slows down here. The staff are very helpful, friendly and there if you need them. Of course we could not stay here and not go to the on site restaurant, but do book to avoid disappointment. We shared the baked Camembert as a starter, it was fabulous and then we had pizza with a thin crispy base along with a lovely bottle of wine. As someone who is always in the kitchen at home I can never resist going into Julia’s shop, I actually didn’t buy for the kitchen but a knitted hat for me but there is always something to tempt you. It’s probably about 30 minutes by car into Stirling and 20 minutes into Callender where there is a wide river with a seated area and a decent car park. A good selection of shops and cafes and a wonderful bakery line the main road. We stayed for a week and it’s never long enough so we are returning next year. Thank you for your hospitality. Awesome adventures of the imaginationWhat a great day we’ve had at the amazing Bellingham Maze. This place never ever disappoints me or my little friends that I have the pleasure of sharing it with. Walking into the maze there is a waterfall that covers the entrance at first which captures the imagination and it really can just flow from there. I love asking the children lots of questions about what they think might be behind the waterfall and where the path may lead and what treasures they may see or whether there is a crocodile in the water or perhaps a fairy that lives in the maze somewhere 😊 creating some magic ✨ We made our way through the 5 different mazes and had loads of laughs on the putt putt golf ⛳️ course. My little 6year old friend was super excited 😃 to get her first hole in one🏌️‍♀️😃 and the beautiful staff always make everyone big and little feel super special 👍 certainly worth a visit and the cookies at the cafeteria are awesome 😃.Version: 24.8.2

Essential for a successful tripI ALWAYS use TripAdvisor to search for both accommodation and attractions. It’s the best App to find the best deal and to get REAL reviews. A couple of points: When looking at reviews, take the spectrum of good-bad into account (There’s always some whiney person who doesn’t like the colour of the plates or something. Do the good reviews outweigh the bad? Which reviews- good/bad- are more recent?). When searching accommodation, select Filters and By Ranking, so you get the accommodation that gets the most positive reviews, not the “cheapest”. We’ve found some amazing, fave accommodation this way. Wish the affiliate vendors (Booking, Agoda, etc.) would have better descriptions (what is a “double bed” vs “large double bed”? Is it a Queen? King?). But overall, this is the perfect App..Version: 38.0

Could be improvedI’m a big fan of this app and was in the top 3 of weymouth , which I was very proud of lol... but when I sometimes go to review a pub that I reviewed a few months before then it says your last review is pending .. and I need to finish it , which I know I did at the time... so I finish that old one and then I can’t put my new one on.. I think it has a glitch in the system , so because of this I’ve dropped to number 4 .. grr .. I’ve been Intouch with you before and you said delete the app and reinstall it , which I did and it’s still the same Also the search engine isn’t very good .. sometimes I search for a popular pub or resort and it doesn’t come up , and then I have to be a detective to find it ... I do however love trip advisor and just think it could be improved slightly xxx.Version: 29.3

Wonderful accommodations and great staff! We stayed at Melia Cozumel over three weeks last month from February 24th through March 12th, 2018. Everything was fantastic, want to give particular high marks to the following employees: Hilario, the beach waiter who was always eager to bring what we wanted- we dont usually drink much but probably did on the days he worked:) Alicia our maid who remembered that we need extra waters for medication etc.. Alberto the waiter in the buffet area who is so friendly and taught us Mayan words , like “show-pee” that means finished, all done. Hassell went over and above at the concierge and the other girl, Tania, was very helpful to assist my calling the airline to extend our trip and help with Spanish translating. Sandra from the office did a good job setting it all up for us. Bryan was very helpful with my printing a few important documents, so patient and calm. Martin, the younger waiter at breakfast was very polite and refilled the coffees quickly. Tania helpful at concierge. On our last night, Jose at at dinner buffet with good with the wine refills. Antonio at breakfast always came with more coffee and water. Those are the standouts I took notes about, although I have to say not one of the staff were ever rude, the activities team was funny and friendly and even though we didnt participate in anything but maybe Bingo once they made us feel welcome if we wanted to. Another enjoyable stay and we look forward to next time! Thank you!.Version: 25.8

This experience is not to be missed. Cheers Robert & Sandra Quee.Version: 52.0

Clean & modern - great value! We felt so lucky to have found this brand new hotel in the heart of the Old Quarter. The bed & pillows were so comfortable and the staff went above and beyond to help us book travel options with further trips. They upgraded us free of charge and also gave us the option of a further room change if the traffic noise proved too noisy. Would HIGHLY recommend staying here if you’re looking for a place in the Old Quarter and great value for money..Version: 53.0

YHA ConwyFirst time stayed in a YHA at the age of 63 , definitely something I would do again , and was surprised that so many more over 50s were opting for the same experience. Tho the outside of the building was in need of some updating the interior was well equipped spotlessly clean and the bedding was better quality and cleaner than some 4* hotels I stayed in . The mattress on bunk beds could do with being s bit thicker but still I managed a good nights sleep . Great power shower in en-suite and room was spacious enough for two females . A great breakfast assortment , and also a well equipped kitchen for anyone wishing to self cater . The property itself is only a 15 min walk from Conwy town , set in a lovely location with views to die for. Enjoyed my stay of two nights and a special Thankyou to Freya and her female colleague for a warm welcome and helpfulness … will definitely be booking other breaks at YHA.Version: 48.9

Useful!I am a fan of TripAdvisor, and have not had any problems using the app. I generally suss out hotels or restaurants when planning a visit, and I almost always write a review as I think it only fair to contribute to a site which I find useful. It is certainly true that it is necessary to be a bit wary of some of the negative reviews (especially of hotels, for some reason), but this is a separate issue. I recommend this app. For some reason, I did not post this review. Well... I have used and participated in TripAdvisor reviews for years. I can’t remember what level “advisor” I am, but I have written over a hundred reviews. I appreciate good service and value for money. I do not discard devices which are still working in order to replace them with the latest all-singing, all-dancing version. Unfortunately, this means I am now discarded. Bye bye..Version: 46.7

My happy placeJust returned from another fabulous holiday at the Melia Bali resort in Nusa Dua in Bali. From the moment we arrived we felt relaxed and welcomed. We stayed in The Level Lagoon access rooms (brilliant). Would not stay anywhere else. Yes it’s a little bit more money but oh so worth it. It’s the little things. Breakfast in the dining room as opposed to the great big buffet. Private pool and private beach area - special service at both - afternoon tea at the poolside cabana - cocktails every afternoon (omg) and the most AMAZING staff ever. Too many to name but special mention to Yuli - Doni - and around the pool and beach - you were all just fantastic every day - but to my besties Jaya (I looove you xx) Resti (gorgeous girl xx) and Darma (the best smile ever xx) you made our stay that little bit more special. See you all again next year for sure . Thank you Melia Bali - you really are my second home 🙏🙏❤️❤️.Version: 30.4.1

A day for me in the air on China Eastern AirlinesIlana and I were so excited about our first trip to Asia. Thailand and Cambodia were a dream we’ve had for what seems to be forever. But truthfully I was dreading the long flight. The longest part was from JFK to Bangkok and I imagined us getting there and losing another day sleeping off the jet lag. So we booked our travel in business class for the first time. It was a delight. The service was excellent. From the moment we checked in. Their lounge at the airport was very comfortable. The food on the plane was beautifully prepared and served and the lay flat beds were amazing. We slept 11 of the 14+hours to Shanghai and after a short layover we were on our way again for the final part of our trip. We arrived fresh and ready to tour an exciting city. And it was a pretty good deal cost wise as well compared to the price we got for business class on other airlines. Over all, a great start to our 2 weeks in Asia..Version: 24.6

Oscars bar Marmaris TurkeyIf you’re in Marmaris Oscars bar across the road from Pasa Beach Hotel is a must visit on all levels. The food is amazing fillet steak to die for cooked so perfectly and not just a lucky one off as we had it a few times but we didn’t just have this we tried several things from the menu on an evening and all was perfectly cooked but also the breakfast and lunch menu was just as good. The owner and all the guys working there were amazing helped make part of our holiday they give so much and work so hard to involve everyone to make sure you have a good time, it’s not the first time we have we have been there and will keep on returning time and time again you leave feeling you have an extended family out there..Version: 53.8

Hotel Benidorm CentreWe are a couple aged 60+. We returned from Hotel Benidorm Centre yesterday and we had a wonderful time. Our room 409 was spotless and cleaned daily and bedding was changed every 2 days. We booked half board. Fairplay the breakfast was beautiful with plenty of choice. First time ever that we didn't need to go out to have a decent breakfast or Dinner. It was relaxing by the pool and very easy to get into. Good entertainment provided. Staff were very helpful and attentive. Good mixture of ages of the clients. We had an early departure for the airport and fairplay we requested a takeaway breakfast which hsd to be booked by 8pm the night before at Reception.. Only area to consider for improvement was for there to be more charging points for mobility Scooters. There were only 3 outlets in the charging bay and during our stay there were 7 scooters. Guests kept unplugging scooters so they were not always fully charged. Would we go back! Most definitely!.Version: 52.3

I would give 6 stars if I could! We had the good fortune of spending the day with Sorhay one afternoon in June 2023 with our 3 teenage boys. Sorhay started our tour off with a culinary bang and kept the energy and the food flowing! We learned so much about the Panamanian culture, history and cuisine through our time spent with Sorhay. She engaged our boys while catering our tour to whatever we decided and altered on the fly to suit us. Her enthusiasm and passion for Panama's food scene was addictive and we were just so happy to be along for the ride! Her party bus was so comfortable and accommodated us all, rocking with music while we cruised through every inch of the city! We covered so much ground and soooo much food! Our endlessly hungry teenage boys finally had to surrender - I think Sorhay would've kept going all night! She even had chocolates dropped at our hotel! She is a treasure and we couldn't recommend this tour and her company more! One of the highlights of our whole trip to Panama for sure!!.Version: 53.0

Great restaurantI choose this restaurant for my wife’s birthday. I did actually book a different restaurant but they decided to close for the winter season and cancel our booking , so I was looking out for something new and stumbled across this venue . The food was superb and the restaurant in general very impressive, the service was of an exceptional standard , nothing too much trouble . I started with the octupus which was the best I have tasted in the algarve , my wife started with the prawns in a sumptuous sauce which we were advised to add some bread to our order - great idea ! I ended up finishing off my wife’s starter as it was so so good . Mains we both went for the seabass , fish was so white and tender , you could tell it was so fresh . Desert was the homemade apple pie and ice cream , so different to back in England but so tasty . The meal in general I could not fault and the price of the meal very reasonable for the experience we had . We will definitely be back next year ..Version: 55.1

Back to Pattaya after 25 years. After not visiting Pattaya for more than 25 years my Thai friends said it was too return. There have been so many changes especially along the main beach road. New hotels, shopping centres, restaurants, supermarkets and many bars. I couldn’t believe the number of speed boats, ferries and floating entertainment venues. We chose to stay at the Hilton and my goodness it was 5 stars plus. Outstanding rooms, service and amenities. The restaurants were exceptional especially our dining at the Horizon. I must admit that I am not keen on the bars along the street but lots of people appear to really enjoy this type of entertainment not only in Pattaya but all beach tourist areas. So many attractions in and around Pattaya that it would suit many types of tourists..Version: 50.3

Really helps RVers, more & more as people utilizeIn travel, this app is priceless! Particularly traveling to a new destination, helps tremendously with restaurant info. and directions! Ditto for events, attractions. Much better than Around Me, which we hardly use anymore. Even at home, we use it when the inevitable question “where should we go eat?” arises. Especially when wanting something other than our usual go-tos. Breakfast lunch or dinner, or even Happy Hr. it sure helps. Can really tell a difference in the App since we retired 3 years ago and began more extended RV trips - more RV parks and public campgrounds being listed and reviewed, all the time. Pictures help soo much as well as specific site info., amenities, when trying to find a place to camp. And Especially when looking for a place to eat, sightsee or shop for fresh seafood/meats in a new place, we find TA invaluable. The more people use and review, the better it gets. And the app updates have made it better. Keep up the good work, TA!.Version: 24.8.2

Where do we begin ?To say our tour was an amazing and adventurous day would be very accurate BUT it was the attention to detail provided by our guides (DK and Ismael) that makes this tour stand out ! From the minute we were picked up at hotel until we were dropped off it was nonstop enjoyment. The level of detail and historical facts provided by both guides made the journey so very interesting. Upon arriving at site each step we took was met with excellent guidance and utmost concern for our safety. The waterfalls were breathtaking and most enjoyable along with our “spa” mud bath. So rejuvenating 😊 !! Guides offered to take pictures of us enjoying ourselves and relaxing without us ever having to ask (DID I MENTION SO MEMORABLE). Our lunch was delicious and oh so surreal … to indulge in a Costa Rican lunch along side the majestic waterfall took one day to make as a memory but it will last a lifetime. The drive back, the conversation, and experience is something my husband and I HIGHLY recommend. Paddle 9 and our gracious guides made the day simply terrific …. PURA VIDA ✝️.Version: 56.2.1

Such a handy app for travel planningI have travelled extensively all around the world and in the old days we’d rely on word of mouth and the latest lonely planet book. Now with trip advisor, it is so easy to plan and book your next trip, or even a night out at a restaurant. Highly recommended :-).Version: 26.4

Cycling tour Saigon to Siem ReapJust completed a 11 day 10 night cycling tour from Saigon to Siem Reap. The tour operator was Tour Radar and the local operator was Indotrek. Overall the tour was average at best. Accommodation was well below acceptable especially for what you pay. Most beds were so hard you could not sleep even after a tough 70km ride. The places we stayed at were small towns with virtually nothing to see. Getting a massage was almost impossible. Aside from Saigon and Siem Reap you could skip the rest. A number of tour features like the boat ride to Siem Reap wasn’t available and while this was known to the operators we were only told the day before so we had to endure a 7 hour car ride on roads unfit to drive on. No way could you even attempt to sleep as the roads were so bumpy. Scenery was poor at best with only a couple of interesting sites over the 9 days riding. Guides did their best to make it interesting but they had very little to work with. Bikes were also fairly old. I would not recommend this tour or this company to anyone. Good place fro familyI have stayed at this particular RIU twice now and have stayed at others in Jamaica; this was more fun in 2018 when they had a club on site and foam party. They have renovated now, and the property is better, but it seems the food has gotten worse and entertainment not as good. I would recommend RIU Negril, the more expensive one, since they have two; this will give you access to both properties since only one has a good pool. RIU Ocho Rios has an adult pool with a swim-up bar, but it’s a bunch of kids in it splashing water in your drink and some teenagers at the bar drinking alcohol. If you want a family place that you can have fun in, this is it; if you are not looking to be around many kids, avoid it. This property is very clean, and they keep it that way; I did not feel as harassed by local salespeople as I did the last time. The staff was friendly for the most part. There is no AC in the elevators, and the bottles of alcohol that were standard in the room have been removed. The gym is relatively small. I would rate this place a 7 out of 10. It’s a decent resort overall..Version: 43.0

Nice to be back among friendsIt’s months since I last dined at Pepperjacks, so it was lovely to be welcomed back by the owner (and maitre d’), and the waiting staff. Service was attentive; the chef did a super job, and my meal was up to the usual high standard. I ordered eye fillet, preceded by seasonal vegetables. Beautifully cooked and delicious. The evening sun declined gracefully into the west. There’s nothing like a great meal to round off a long and productive day. I’ll be back next time I’m In Auckland..Version: 33.4.1

Great app but tired of some of the questionsI like the app and have used it for both evaluating and reviewing restaurants, hotels, and things to do all over the world. It is fairly easy to use but have found 1 issue that was only cleared up after I sent a message to Trip Advisor. When adding a new location of any type, a website or social media listing is shown being “optional.” I have found that if the new location does not have a website or not listed on social media, TA will reject the listing without explanation. This was very frustrating after going through all the detail of listing 2 new restaurants and having them rejected without explanation. There should be a note requiring website or social media address before going through details of a new listing. A point that not only perturbs but concerns me greatly is I am totally offended by constantly being asked if a restaurant offers halal food. It is very discriminatory to single this out. I do not nor will I ever eat this food so stop asking me this offense question!!!!.Version: 30.4.1
