Calorie Counter - MyNetDiary for Positive User Reviews

Addicted!Honestly the best diet app I’ve tried so far. The collection of foods they have is unrivalled in my opinion. Plus I can see a full report of my nutritional intake, rather than just the basic macros..Version: 9.3

Great AppI’ve used the free version of this App off and on for a year or two and it’s very helpful for me. Initially I just used it, plus my cheap food scale, to count calories so I can drop weight to pass my semi-annual physical training tests for the military. I would carry myself anywhere up to 20 pounds over the limit sometimes (not muscle lol). Start a month or two out and bam! Good to go. Now I use it for a bit more. The calorie counting is great, but it’s helped me learn a lot about food and to make better decisions. For the last few months I’ve been transitioning from vegetarian to vegan, and it sure helps. Basically, I’m at the point now I can plan my entire days food out to ensure I’m at my calorie goal and getting all the appropriate nutrients. I’ve never used another food App so I don’t have anything to compare against, but I like this one so I don’t see a reason to switch. This is definitely a useful tool and I highly recommend it if you’re looking for an App..Version: 7.58

Great tool to help you lose weightThis is a brilliant app. Very easy to use and has really helped me to lose weight. Food and exercise tracking are so easy. The food library is also great for Australian users as it contains many foods we get here. Love the bar scan facility too. I have been using this app since 15 Feb 2017 and have lost 15 kg over 5.5 months. This app helps me to see what I've consumed and then to make sensible decisions about how much food and exercise I need to meet my overall goals. Highly recommend this app to anyone who wants an easy way to track kilojoules/ calories..Version: 5.45

Best way to lose and maintain weightDespite a reasonably healthy diet, I struggled with weight all my life. I was never one for takeaways or fast food and was even vegetarian for a number of years, but weight just crept on. Two and a half years ago I developed gallstones and was advised to eat a low fat diet, so started to use MyNetDiary to control fat in my food. Post surgery, I’ve now lost five stones and feeling better than I have in years. Think I just didn’t realise how much I ate before - you can get fat eating ‘healthy foods’ if you eat too much of them! It’s actually been a lot easier than I thought. I need to lose another stone to be comfortably within the ‘normal’ BMI range and the weight loss is slowing but feeling confident I will reach my goal and be able to maintain it using MyNetDiary..Version: 6.77

So ImpressedWow! I am so impressed with this app. It is so impressive and the information you can get from the data you enter is brilliant. I have just tried the recipe import and it has actually blown me away. Well done! Only comment would be to be able to add recipes from the + tab. 10/10 from me!!! The weekly analysis showing me we which vitamins I am not consuming enough of is so helpful. I think everyone should use this app even if it is to keep a check on nutrition. I will be going Premium just on the basis that this app is too good to be free (don’t often say that!) so feel I should be paying for it..Version: 8.60

I’ve Had This App for a Year......and I am still using it every single day. If you need some accountability in your food choices and exercise, this is the greatest app I’ve found for that. It opens your eyes both to how many calories you’re REALLY consuming and to how many calories you’re REALLY burning. Folks, there are no magic pills or potions for weight loss. The bottom line, most effective approach, is simply to expend more calories (energy) than you consume, period, and My Net Diary is a wonderful tool for that. I watch what I eat about 90% of the time and for the other 10%, when I splurge, it’s easy to see how many calories it “cost” me and that number in and of itself is usually sobering enough to get me right back on track with an extra workout and healthier food choices so that I don’t backslide completely (it’s a slippery slope, amirite) and can continue to lose weight. It’s an easy to use app with a potpourri of useful info that I’ve even recommended to my patients, and those who’ve tried it, without exception, have loved it. Highly recommend My Net Diary!.Version: 7.88

GREAT APPAwesome & easy to follow.Version: 8.76

Great for KetoI’ve been using the free version for a while and it was really good for generally keeping track of my food and exercise. The app is easy and intuitive to use. Having decided to try a Keto diet to seriously get my weight down I upgraded to the Premium version and I’m extremely happy with the results I’m getting. It’s very easy to track your net carbs as well as calories. Seeing my progress through the daily and weekly reports, visually on the graphs and through the measurements has really motivated me and even when I’ve fallen off the wagon I’ve picked myself up and I’ve seen the data get back on track. Highly recommended..Version: 7.88

Excellent AppCan’t remember how I came about this app. I must have come across it when searching through the App Store when another app wasn’t giving me what I needed MyNetDiary is brilliant. Its intuitive and easy to understand. I love the analysis bit and the predictions. It lets you do recipes meals and favourite foods. I’ve already recommended it to a work colleague. I’m on a free trial of the premium but I’m definitely going to pay the fee for the year.Version: 8.24

An excellent platformI’m finding MyNetDiary to be an excellent platform to record all that I eat during the day. As I am endeavouring to reduce my weight- I have found that recording what I eat and drink, a good strategy. MyNetDiary also has many helpful articles to support healthy eating and good exercise. Even without using the premium option, this is helpful- and it is obvious that by using premium , many more options and facilities are opened up..Version: 8.88

Really Helpful ToolNever having had to watch what I eat before, I am finding this app truly useful as I know what I have consumed to date and what I've got left. So questions like 'should I have a glass of wine with dinner?' can easily be answered. It also means I can include treat food more than I thought I could as the running daily tally allows me to manage my total intake and fits potato crisps in. Easy to use and follow. Highly recommended..Version: 4.0

Easy to useThis is the easiest tracker I have used, by far. The free features are great, although the greater flexibility you get with the paid subscription are excellent, especially if you want to count more than just calories. I do low carb and this is the bees knees for that!.Version: 9.1

ExcellentI have found the app great. I’ve lost 5kg without too much effort, just monitoring food and keeping below the apps recommended calorie intake..Version: 6.87

Great but would like a few more features addedSo it shows you how many calories you have consumed via an apple outline that slowly fills in as you log more food. Next to this it shows how many calories per meal, breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks and how much exercise and water. What I would really like is a meal section for drinks, not just water, so it then tracks the number of calories I consume via drinks so I can see if it’s too many or too sugary, but I can also see if I have drunk enough. I know I can track water but that doesn’t allow for water with sugar free cordial or such so I then have to record the cordial separately and then I’m order to see how many drinks I have had, I need to check under each meal, breakfast, lunch etc. I want a total drinks count without having to search even if it’s a measure rather than count, eg ml. I would also like to be able to track my fasting, but not like a lot of calorie apps do it where they just say now you should be fasting, now you should be eating. I want to actually be able to press a button to say I have started fasting and I have stopped fasting so it actually records the actual amount of time fasting..Version: 8.71

Love this app, easy and awesomeI LOVE MyNetDiary. Life changing!! Helps me track calories, macro, and micronutrients. I want to follow calcium, sodium, B vitamins, not just calories or carbs. You can add foods or recipes to the database, but rarely need to. It has many chain restaurant menu items also. Keeps track of weight with a cool chart, and your personal calorie budget can auto adjust depending on your goal progress. Remembers what you eat and items pop handily. Combined with limiting ‘white carbs’, helped me lose 10 lbs I had been trying to lose for years. Things were moving in the wrong direction. Measuring food and counting calories is the only thing that has worked for me ever, and this app makes it easy. I focus on healthy eating and keeping within an appropriate calorie budget, also reducing sodium, and curbing my cheese dependence, and this app has made a huge difference in my journey. On a scale of 1-5 stars I give it a 10. GET IT AND USE IT! It’s freakin awesome. I used the free version and was so sold I bought the paid version the same day..Version: 7.58

It's workingI lost 6lbs in a little over a week and I don't exercise! I guess I've reached that point in my life where I can't eat whatever I want whenever I want. I have joined the 21st century and discovered this app, which is much more user friendly than some other ones I have tried. It does all the math for me, which is great. I love how everything is all on one page for a concise overall view of my progress. I love how I can scan barcodes and it immediately knows the product (and if it doesn't, you can add it! If it isn't correct, you can request an update!). I like that I can keep track of carbs. I love that I can input things in before I eat it so I know how many calories I'll be "spending" ahead of time- which makes daily meal planning a cinch. It is also really easy to delete or edit entries. I learned a lot about my habits and that I don't drink nearly enough water. It does take some self control to keep on target, because you will be starving while your body adjusts! I hope to see a way of bundling foods for a specific personal recipe in the future as well as ways of tracking certain specific nutrients, like potassium or magnesium. Love it :).Version: 5.45

I’m a beyond happy seven year user!I’ve had this app since 2015 and its so useful! Stop wasting your time with other apps, you have everything you need in one. They’re doing updates every few days and my favorite thing about the updates is when one occurs, the next time you use the app, you’ll get a screen which pops up and explains to you what they have updated, fixed or if they added something new. My favorite features would have to be the Home Screen widget and the fact it’s compatible with my Apple Watch. It even has its own face you can apply and is fully customizable. I chose to be shown my water intake, activity and current/remaining calories for the day. I love it because you can quickly look at your watch and see your progress and also input new data without having to go on the app on your phone. Overall, it’s a great app and I don’t know why it took me seven years to give it a review!.Version: 8.54

My/net/diaryI love the free version of this app. It’s easy to use and has everything I need to help keep me on track..Version: 7.58

Game changer! This app is a game changer! I’m using the free version. I’ve used many other free apps in the past. This one is my favorite. It always works. It’s simple to log food. The scanner is fantastic. I’ve never scanned anything that it couldn’t find. After you have used it for a while, it gets even easier because most of the foods you eat have already been logged. It takes the guesswork out of counting calories and many other nutritional facts. On days that I forget to log my food, I tend to overeat because I don’t realize how many calories I’m consuming. On days I log my food, (Which is most days) I get to see how quickly those calories are adding up and I know I need to be careful for the rest of the day. If you aren’t using something to keep track of what you’re eating, you’re probably eating too much. If you’re looking for an app to track your food and weight and much more, I highly recommend this one..Version: 9.8

Free and accurateI love how the app is optional to be free or you can pay. We need more apps like this. Highly recommended!.Version: 9.8

Great app, scanning makes it easyA great app that makes it easy to enter what you eat and keep track of your calories. With only a couple of amendments it would be 5 stars. Those amendments would be putting the extra 9 functions like ‘Copy recent’, ‘Scan’, ‘Custom food’ etc on the first page you see when pressing Breakfast, lunch or dinner which has loads of space on it for the buttons, rather than them being hidden under another menu requiring an unnecessary button press. Also the animated ski/cycle slope starts at your start weight and moves down towards your target weight before going back to the top, as you update your weight instead of it going from your start weight down to your current weight (which would show your progress) it changes the start weight to your current weight. That means you’re always at the top of the slope which doesn’t show your progress down the slope which is missing a psychological trick and something that would be nice to see. Minor things on what is a great app, but they would be welcome changes..Version: 6.68

Well deserved 5 starsTaking a minute out of my day to thank the developers. It’s not a big feat, but I’ve lost 34 pounds and am well on my way to my goal weight because of this app. No it’s not a miracle product, but it makes it easy to see your mistakes and your triumphs. Even If you log your foods honestly without doing anything different you learn so much about food. You realize that you can eat significantly more of one food versus a small amount of another for the same calories. For instance I can eat an entire lean cuisine meal for 300ish calories but one fruit pie will set me back 400+! Getting started was hard, I tried and gave up twice before but this app also encouraged me to be easy on myself and that a little mistake today doesn’t have to be the end of my diet, that I can pick up a fresh day tomorrow and have a great week and the one bad day has little consequence in the terms of long term dieting. My starting weight was 262, my goal is 175 and I’m 44% done. The Fourth of July 2023 is my goal date and I look forward to it very much. Thanks again..Version: 8.65

Amazing!I truest love this app, especially how simple and handy it’s mechanics work. It’s helping me reach all of my goals. Definitely recommend..Version: 9.3

Thank youThank you so much for making this app. It is amazing. It’s easy to use (almost everything is scanable. I have the paid version. For me it’s worth it, I use it almost everyday. I was able to change my specific nutrient targets (the largest one I count is sodium) and had a 6 pack when I was religiously using that. Now I’m exploring my micronutrients (vitamins and minerals). Since I’ve been tracking what I eat for a while, the app has a record of how much I’m getting of each one. I saw I was only getting about 50 percent of my daily iron intake, and extremely low on selenium and copper! I wouldn’t even be aware of these things if it wasn’t for the app. I got a nice multi vitamin and multi mineral and am focusing on consuming more mineral dense foods. I’m grateful for this app on some many levels. Also, it might not matter to most ppl, but I find this app much more aesthetically pleasing than my fitness pal. In fact I never really got peoples love for my fitness pal. In terms of calorie counting apps I would rate this number 1, Loseit number 2, and my fitness pal after that. Thanks again!.Version: 8.38

Great app- thanks for an easy to use motivator!Great tool to watch what I eat and what that extra helping costs in calories! Thanks for the analysis too - great to be aware of various foods and the effect it has on cholesterol etc.Version: 3.30

Love itThere's no disputing that a food diary is the way to lose weight. I have successfully used a paid online version before. This free app is so easy and convenient. I am so pleased to have stumbled upon it..Version: 0

Great appI’d say this is the best app for calorie counting, some are a little random but otherwise perfect app.Version: 9.1

LOVE this app…and now with intermittent fasting!Been using this app for years. Used it while losing weight, as well as after reaching my goal to keep track of important nutrients. I use it EVERY day all throughout the day and have come to totally depend on it. Great format, super reliable, with all the features I need……and now they have added intermittent fasting (which is not only helpful for weight loss, but there are also many health benefits associated with intermittent fasting…so a great addition to the app!). I can now get rid of the intermittent fasting app I have on my phone. Through the years the developers have made numerous and regular improvements, and thankfully without removing important functions many users have come to depend on. AND, without moving things around so severely thus causing us to be unable to find functions we’d been using for years (unlike so many other apps, which when they run an update, you’re in a complete state of panic when opening the app after the new update because everything has been totally changed, rearranged and vital functions have been deleted!). So thanks for a great app and thanks for making sensible improvements without causing your users to have a meltdown after each update!.Version: 9.8

Love itExcellent app, is helping me lose weight and be accountable for everything that goes in my mouth! Only difficulty is homemade foods, but I can find similar foods in the database..Version: 3.20

Pros and cons but great appI was fresh to the whole nutrition and macro counting. I was in the gym a lot and couldn’t understand why I wasn’t putting on weight. This app is fantastic to help you understand what sort of food you need to eat and what is in a lot of foods for a beginner but then once you buy premium it really allows you to dive into serious meal planning and exercise even making sure you have enough water in a day. The guide on different foods and advice is really helpful for improving health as well..Version: 8.95

ExcellentLove this app I’ve used it in the past without premium and lost 20kg. Unfortunately covid hit and eating without exercising became a problem Back on track again using the app, this time I purchased premium and seeing positive weight loss and with clinical easy to read articles to help focus mind on not eating incorrectly. In hindsight I wish I had purchased premium first time round, I may not have lasped and put on the weight again.Version: 8.76

Love this free appEasy to use, simple dashboard to track your activity and eating for the day. Had no idea about the calories I was consuming until I started using this, you don’t have to give up the foods you like you can manage the portions and work out your meals for the day, exercise more meals more calories you can consume if you want to. Link it to you smart watch to get your activity levels linked in..Version: 8.73

Have lost 10% already and 5% body fatWith a good selection of foods (including from Australia) and easy adding of foods that aren’t in there as well as integration with Apple Health for exercise calories burned, it makes it really easy to accurately keep track. The app elegantly analyses data and presents in a simple way to help stay motivated. The app will only work if you track everything that you eat, but this is easy to do and so worthwhile. It really helps to “budget” food intake - making it possible to enjoy a night out without being “that person” on a diet. I’ve found that I’ve lost about a kg and 0.5% body fat each week for the last 6 weeks. Humour the app and follow its guidelines and you will be rewarded. While it took a bit of getting out of the habit of massive portion sizes, I haven’t felt hungry of deprived. I’ve found it great for raising my awareness of the calories in some foods. You can integrate with Apple health - for both calories burned, steps, but also body weight / fat if you have scales that can do that. That way you have one centralised place to track everything..Version: 8.82

THE BEST APP EVER!!!!!!I’ve spent 3 years, losing 43.2 kilos, part from hard work and part from my Bariatric sleeve surgery. I’ve suffered with anaphylaxis, due to Volatile intolerances and recently put on medication that has made me gain 15.5 kilos. I found a dietician that has helped me with direction and knowledge of my allergies and also wanted me write everything down. I found our App and it looked great, after 1 hour of reading what your App did and then reading on what it could do, if I paid for the upgrade, what it could do - I didn’t hesitate spending the money. I HAVE NEVER DONE THAT WITH AN APP!!!!!! I feel I should get a selling fee, as I’m constantly telling everyone at work, how amazing it is. I lost 1.45 kilos in 3 days and tomorrow, I will be sending my PDF to my dietician of everything I’ve eaten and what I need to add to my diet as you guys have thought of everything, to allow my dietician to help me..Version: 7.87

AppAwesome app.Version: 8.73

Great for reaching fitness goals. This is really an app worth downloading if you’ve got fitness goals you want to reach. The free insights that it provides really will keep you motivated to stay on track to complete them. I particularly like how it works calculation wise, with my daily calorie budget, as it’s simple and easy to use when tracking exercise as well as food calories, water etc. Additionally, although one would need premium to customise their macronutrient plan, it’s possible to work around it. This app provides a great experience for all, paying and unpaying, tracking calories on it is far more favourable than any other app I’ve used. The feature that lets me see macronutrients in a pie chart is one of my favourites really. Other than the apple design for calorie budget. I love that too. No other app has that!! Downloading this is all the more worthwhile!.Version: 7.84

Brilliant!I use this app to map out my meals and am almost at my goal weight. I will continue to use the app for life! It helps me plan and meal prep with little fuss. This app has the biggest food bank info that I’ve come across, other apps I struggled to input data due to missing info. I love the amount of data available to look through and the weekly emails with my personalised data, helps me learn and chose foods wisely, then the recipes! they are great! They have meals for every dietary requirement going! Thank you MyNetDiary, couldn’t have done it without you! Re6555.Version: 8.52

So good even without the paid featuresIt is so good, has almost all the foods you search for, scans most items correctly and is very reliable. I love it and may switch to premium in sometime!!.Version: 9.3

Calorie budget updatePersonally I think that the app overall is really great is just I think you should add a feature where you can connect the app to your fitbit since it counts calories even when you’re not working out,and a great feature you guys can also add is let’s say today I ate 870 calories and done 120 calories of exercise which would then be calculated and from 870 it would be 750 and be saved onto the calorie budget, since it stays the same number from what I ate and doesn’t go down from when I do exercise..Version: 8.83

So far it’s brilliantI stumbled on this app a few days ago. I was looking for something to monitor blood pressure. But then I realised it did loads more besides. So much so, that it seems I can do everything I need on this one app. Track food, diet, water intake, add diary notes, monitor my calcium intake and loads more besides. So far with this one app I’ve replaced 5 others. Hope it turns out to be as good further down the line. Oh and the other benefit it has everything in clear easy to read text. Other diet apps I’ve tried cram too much into the screens so the text can be small and hard to read. I like the way I can customise the dashboard to my own needs and get rid of excess clutter..Version: 7.87

If you are honest in recording it works.I have used the my net diary for over 5 years. It has improved ease of recording, accuracy of recording and printing out those records as needed. The ease of copying meals to another group is fantastic. I have not synced it to a Fitbit or similar device because the search for exercises is so easy. I swim almost every day but my routine does change. Excercise search has a wide range routines, locations ( ie. lake, pool, intensity etc.). It makes it easier to just select routine and duration. I don’t want wear an expensive device in some of the environments so it would be off my wrist too much. Food tracking is really easy. Scan barcode, input your recipes with measurements and it calculates, calories, carbs and other nutrition values that have been selected. I have not used it but you take a photo of your plate and submit it. You get back a nutritional listing of the plate. I would and have recommended this app to my friends..Version: 8.4

So many optionsI really like this app. It helped me so many different part of my healthy life style and not just calories..Version: 7.84

Fantastic app, better in so many waysI’ve used lots of different nutrition tracking apps over the years when I’m in action phase with fitness (weight loss, lifting, etc). They all will do the basics and at this point in 2023 they are all very good at what they do. This one shines in a few key areas. - The data entry is streamlined. When you are interacting with the app a lot of times a day that helps. - the database is great, and accurate . It’s not full of garbage entries from users - the graphical presentation just makes sense to me. Everything from the apple graphic of calories for the day, to the table that shows macro breakdown per meal based on time (not all snacks for the whole day are grouped together for example) - it’s flexible- I don’t use any of their diets or recipes really but I can configure as I wish - you can use the website too which is good when you want to see reports or work with a spreadsheet or bigger monitor - it let’s you log non nutrition stuff like comments and other things that happen that may effect your health.Version: 8.80

RahulAbsolutely love this app.Version: 8.71

Life changing App 🙏🏼My partner and I have been on off dieting for around a year finding fad diets little success. We decided to attempt a calorie deficits diet we stumbled across this app and since then we have not looked back. We have both lost, we can keep it up and it’s completely changed our lives for the better. Anyone looking to gain nutritional knowledge, easily understand a deficit diet and look after themselves this app is for you. To the app people - thank you for creating this app!!!! #payitforward 🙏🏼.Version: 8.35

Love this app!I’ve never had the desire to track my macros or calories. I’ve been intermittent fasting for 5 years and was looking for an app to track my fasts. I came across MyNetDiary and it had the best features/functionality in the free version. After a few days of using it, I wanted all of the extra features! I never buy apps but this time I did and I have zero regrets. This app has helped me make better food choices and it also revealed I was most likely deficient in a few things like calcium and vitamin C. I love the colorful design and how customizable the dashboard is. I cook everything from scratch and love that I can upload recipes and alter them. I used the custom tracker feature to add a tracker for my fasting hours and can create charts to view those eating windows as well as my longer water fasts. The notes section is essential as well. The video tutorials were extremely helpful that first week because of the extensive functionality and options available..Version: 8.80

Sooo much better than MyFitnessPal!!!Words cannot describe how much I rely on this app. This app holds me accountable and is so easy to use. I tried MyFitnessPal before this and find this app so much more reliable and accurate. This app also has specific items to Woolworths/coles which is amazing as MyFitnessPal had very little variety in terms of their food data base. This app is worth the small fee every month. 100% would recommend. The only tiny thing that I dislike about this app is that your BMR is not optional to change. I had a dexa scan done and the scan does not match the BMR on the app. However, still the best app none the less. I love the macro tracking as well as the barcode scanner!!! Love love love this app!.Version: 8.15

Simple, Visual, EffectiveI’ve been underweight my entire life and have had a lot of health issue because of it. Seeing a nutritionist and having this app have been two of the most effective tools I’ve had on my journey. I’ve had it for three weeks and am now only two pounds away from no longer being critically underweight! I love it because it’s not an overwhelming barrage of precise details for me to enter and see. It’s simple to use and displays my progress in a clear, visual way. At a glance, I can see how far I am on my daily goal and how well I’ve been doing for the entire week. Entering food takes so little time that I can enter it right after eating without any disruption to what I’m doing. The only things I would change about the app is its mindfulness of the user’s goals. I don’t really mind seeing tips on how to loose weight while using the app, but it would be awesome if the messaging changed according to which direction the user wanted the scale move. It would also be great if the app had a “pre-tracking” feature. Sometimes I pack my meals the day before. I don’t know if I’ve packed enough to meet my goals, but I also don’t want to enter them into the app if I haven’t eaten them yet. Right now I’m using a different app to keep track of it separately, but it would be nice if I could keep it in this one, then easily count it as eaten when the time came. Even so, this is a great app, and I’m thankful for it and the progress it’s helped me make..Version: 7.37

Excellent App for patients, doctors, and everyone in generalI cannot stop saying how amazing is this app. As a physician myself I have never encounter such a complete app where not only one can meet weight loss goals, but do so in a safe manner, with excellent recommendations by expert nutritionists, that above all make sure the process is safe for you, so not to go into dangerous fad diets, unhealthy BMIs. As well, it has been such a learning experience for me to realize how many empty. Añoréis, dangerous amounts of sodium, dangerous fats one can consumed thinking you are eating healthy. It increases your awareness and helps you recognize healthier options in food while filling satisfied. The free app is very good BUT the paid app is unbelievable. I am not one to be spending money as many a times it tends to be a completely useless purchase, not with this! This app is awesome. It is so accurate since you have an option to create your own recipe and it will calculate the nutrients for you by portions. I recommend this to anyone who not only wants to loose or gain weight but to anyone who wants to eat healthier to decrease risks of so many preventable diseases such as diabetes type 2, high cholesterol, cardiovascular disease and many more..Version: 7.88

So far so goodHaving used a different app, WW SW nothing really works yet so far I have found using this app to be filled with information and analytics but simple and easy to use. I recommend. I want to get premium and will as soon as I am confident I will stick with this - because I get bored so easily but so far the visuals are keeping me motivated. First time anything has kept me on track this long absolutely can’t recommend this app enough. Update : I got premium absolutely worth it.Version: 8.25

ImpressiveThe database is pretty complete. I am in Canada. But this app just blows everything out of the water when it comes to analyzing your data. OMG it slices and dices, you can access insights from everywhere, get suggestions, advice, etc. A great companion to track your eating and calories..Version: 9.1

IOS health data seems to be timezone shifted?Fantastic app, but my iOS Health data shows as being performed yesterday, not today. I suspect the data import is likely in a different timezone to that which MyNetDiary is importing it as? Hoping this is either a one-off bug or a bug able to be fixed? Do you have a bug tracker somewhere to report this officially? Thanks. Update: Closing and reopening the app fixes the iOS Health data timezone sync issue. Will keep an eye on it..Version: 8.60

Diet successI have never had more success with combining diet and exercise as part of a healthy lifestyle than when I routinely used this app to monitor my food intake. I lost ten kilos over 10 months. I have always been good at getting the exercise I need, but I also overeat so this app helps keep the diet side accountable. The free version gives me everything I need in order to maintain accountability and I’m back because I started gaining weight without the accountability the app offers. I’m very grateful to the apps developers..Version: 7.88

Stick with itIt took me a bit of time to learn how to log foods and make recipes, but once you do, it’s easy to use. I don’t fixate on getting the exact foods - but I pick the closest and overestimate to be safe. This is now second nature to use and revealing just how bad some foods are when you scan their barcodes!!! I’ve made better choices when shopping 👍.Version: 6.71

It’s absolutely PERFECT!It’s the most complete app for calorie and macro tracking. I have tried at least 15 apps plus the most famous one MFP and had a premium subscription however this is much better and it’s free! I absolutely love it! Has great widget plus it work amazingly on Apple Watch too. I have only paid for premium just because I love the app and wanted to support the developer but I definitely did not needed the premium account for tracking the macro and logging food. You have everything you need for free..Version: 8.63

Great so farI have tried lots of different apps to help me keep track of my calorie intake in an attempt to shift some weight, I’ve only been using this one for a week but I already know it’s a much more interesting app to use, It’s easy and friendly to use, nice to look at with lots of info and things to look at but not overwhelming. I have high hopes for this app, my only criticism is that I would have to subscribe to be able to link to my Fitbit, that’s no big deal though, I’m content with the free content.Version: 8.13

I’ve used them ALL this one BEST by FAR!!!I’ve been on this yo-yo dieting and diet trends for 1/2 my lifetime. I used MyFitnessPal and GAINED weight! Why? They allow calorie/fat user adds that aren’t verified and i was WAY over on my calories! Calories in, calories out. It’s that simple. I love this app! And I’ve used them ALL even the premium paid for ones! This is fully customizable. I lowered my calories to lose weight faster and adjusted my carb, protein and fat! I also am able to track my MACROS! I truly am so excited! I was considering WL surgery but I started this APP and I’ve lost 27 pounds in a month!!!! Wow! Truly can’t wait to see how the upgrades roll out. The paid version is under 10 bucks a month and well worth it. This has been a game changer for me to find where my strengths and weaknesses really are! Thank you to the developers for caring enough to help those of us who like to control our own plan and just need that edge. This is what I recommend to everyone and I uninstalled all those other apps from my phone! Glad to have the space back, all I need is MyNetDiary!!!! Thank you!.Version: 8.5

Quick , easy and invaluable !Using this App was the only way I could lose weight. Being able to scan barcodes on many items and copy recent items makes it quick and easy. The visuals are also really clear and helpful - knowing that an extra biscuit will make the apple go in to the red makes me stop and think. I lost a steady pound a week and lost a total of 28 lbs. Over 15 months later I weigh myself weekly and if I’ve gained weight I go back to using MyNetDiary to get back to my ideal weight. I wouldn’t be without it..Version: 6.71

So EasyI procrastinated using this app. I had tried others but they weren’t as user friendly to me and didn’t track the way I wanted or needed. I thought it would take a week or so to get the hang of using this but it only took a day! I knew I was overeating and since I hit menopause I also knew I couldn’t eat like that anymore. I had gained some weight and wanted to get into new portion control habits and check my macros since entering this new phase of life. What a difference! I lost 5 pounds without trying and have become very aware of all of the “extra” things I was eating, like a piece of chocolate here and there, a handful of peanuts a couple times of day…it really adds up at this stage of my life when it didn’t use to. I already had a scale and it’s become my new best friend and takes no time to use. You can set a reminder dee alarm for water intake, log exercise, etc. You can set your personal plan to adjust your caloric intake when you lose weight so you won’t plateau and so much more! I highly recommend this app!.Version: 8.73

Amazing and intuitiveIt is a great app for tracking calories and other nutrients and I even use it to track my medication, although there is no alarm to remind you. The premium version of the app also has an excellent menu and I highly recommend getting it. I printed off the recipes and have been using them pretty faithfully and have lost almost 3 kg in the first week..Version: 9.3

This app helped me gain perspectiveI better understand that I can no longer eat anything I want, and am beginning to be more measured in what I let myself eat. I have become more active and informed using the app and working towards daily ‘green’ benchmarks is actually quite fun. It’s interesting to realise there’s big calorie items that I wouldn’t have thought about in the past that I try to write out of my daily intake. All in all it’s motivating to have daily guidance . I really like the app and would highly recommend it..Version: 8.75

Brilliant tool for weight lossI love this app! It has helped so much! There is a wide range of food info including from supermarket and restaurants. It helps me think again about that chocolate bar or sandwich. Also the articles are informative and don't feel like a lecture. The only problem, and it's not a major one, is that sometimes the carbs, cals and fat don't always correspond with what's on the packet, but with such a wide choice of food selection and being savvy the first few times you input data you get used it. It's really worth giving it a try..Version: 5.45

Really Well-DesignedIn general, I HATE apps, but I wanted to lose some weight and this one looked, at least, interesting. But MyNetDiary turns out to be incredibly useful, even in ways I wouldn't have expected. It's really intuitive, and provides an enormous database of both fresh and packaged foods--impressive because I'm gluten-intolerant and eat a lot of pretty obscure brands of bread, etc, and I wouldn't expect that many people would have ever heard of them. Logging what I've eaten is actually kind of fun, and I even do it when I've binged on too many calories and would usually just not bother counting them because I'd be too embarrassed at my lack of self-discipline. And I love the very precise breakdown of all of the nutrients, which is important to me because I'm also a vegetarian (yes, I am a pain to feed!) and now I have a better idea about how to get more protein and various other nutrients that I need because of my weird diet. And tracking my water intake is really helpful, too, as I've gotten a little lax about drinking enough (water!), and now I'm more motivated about that, too. Sorry--long review (I also hate writing reviews, so the fact that I did this one should tell you how impressed I am with this app!). Very soon I should be back to my ideal weight, and probably a lot healthier than I've been in a while (oh, yeah--the app also works with my Apple watch to keep track of my activity and workouts...awesome)..Version: 8.55

Healthy lifestyleThis is a lovely little app. Pretty graphics, clear and concise information and presentation and so easy to use. I use it, occasionally, to look up nutritional values of specific foods rather than for calorie counting. Personally, I think it's so tedious to log everything you eat on a daily basis. Just follow the "Real Food Diet" and you will lose weight. You can eat as much Real Food as you like. This means natural food that you can recognise including healthy fats, rather than processed foods in packets made in factories. Lots of fresh fruits and vegetables, meat and poultry, fish and other seafood. Try to avoid or at least reduce intake of sugary foods, starchy carbs and alcohol. Drink lots of water; drink frequently and have a glass before you start eating. Coupled with moderate exercise and sufficient sleep and you'll enjoy a nice healthy lifestyle. All the best!.Version: 5.45

Updated reviewIn a recent update, the devs made is so that you had to view protein, carbs, fat, etc. These were all free prior to the update. Hence the old review below. However, due to the backlash, they have reversed that policy and we now once again have access to protein, fat, carbs, etc. As such, I have revised my review. Old review: I was using this app for about a year. You could view calories, monitor your weight, check your protein, fat, carbs, etc. all for free. It was great. So good that my wife bought the premium subscription. But now they have updated the app so that all that free stuff now requires premium. You cannot do anything other than monitor your calories, weight, and salt intake. This makes the app no longer useful and removes the developers unique selling point over other apps (and there are thousands of them that provide bare minimum features). So, after this update I have uninstalled the app and my wife is canceling her subscription. We will find another app. It’s a shame..Version: 9.10

Highly recommendBeen using for a few months now, although I had a lapse during Christmas by eating too much unhealthy food 🤣now I’m back on track. It’s a very user friendly app, the design just looks so comfortable and convenient to use. Love the new intermittent fasting function. I have been doing 16:8 for a while, and been using other app. Now I can just use everything in one! I suggest intermittent fasting can have more info on the dashboard, such as at what hours your body is doing what, like BSL is stable, burning fat, DNA 🧬 recovery etc, encouraging people to keep going Well done team! Keep up the great work!.Version: 9.8

Best Free App out there for food trackingI have tried no less than 10 apps for food tracking and this one is by far my favourite..Version: 9.8

AN APP FOR WEIGHT GAIN AND LOSS!There is next-to-no apps for those NOT trying to lose weight but instead ensure they’re eating enough (E.g. those in recovery) this app is great for those in that situation, instead of showing red when going over daily calories, which many correlate with being ‘bad’, this calorie tracker is red UNTIL you hit your maintenance calories, then green for anything over. It helps you track your macros, let’s you know when you’re under for the week, by how much, what effects that will have long and short term. Thank you, finally an app promoting actual healthy eating!.Version: 8.63

Well Worth UsingThis App worked for me. I managed to lose around 60 lbs over 7 months using it. It gives the number of calories for most foods, and the layout makes it easy to record how much you’ve eaten. The hardest part for me was learning to weigh EVERYTHING I ate every day. It provides a lot of information on nutrients, etc if you want to know these things; and there are recipe sections for ideas. You can pay a subscription for more detailed analysis and access to discussion forums. Also if you have a particular fitness-tracker, it will automatically record exercises taken, sleep, etc. If not, you can record these things manually. I subscribed for one month, just to see what was there, and while it provides some extra incentive, it’s not essential for the diet. I came across one or two discrepancies while using it, but they were very minor things; and easily worked around. I’m very pleased with what I’ve achieved using this App, and as a tool to help with weight-loss, I’d definitely use it again..Version: 8.31

Siri not workingBeen great but downloaded it because it was integrated with Siri and it’s not working correctly. It works for my cup of tea, puts a serving amount of 0.01 for dinner and not what the default was which is 1 and for some items it just doesn’t want to add. Water works fine. New visual update feels more stuffy. Not everything needs a box. The calorie apple in the middle is annoyingly small, the analysis graph bars are weird looking so better to not box these. Having things open and not box would make it feel more open and less stuffy. Also I can’t edit my OWN recipes without having to buy premium. What?.Version: 7.74

Lots of dataThis seems to be a very impressive app with everything it tracks and keeps the user informed of. Will be trying the paid premium service and updating this review after using for about a week. I will say so far though the free version has my 5 stars because: Cost: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ free Ease of use: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ trained monkey🐒 (they even have tips with arrows pointing and explaining things on the screen) Ads: NONE! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Database: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ seems extensive so far. I’m a trucker and so far everything I’ve bought at the truck stops I’ve been able to scan and input the info. Was even able to just type in the low carb burger I got from Carl’s Jr. and all the info popped right up Developers response: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Im always encouraged when I look at the reviews for an app and see the developer actively responding to issues users post about their app. I usually start from “most critical” first to see what issues others have had and what, if any the developer has responded to. I discount personal issues, I’m sorry but if you have an eating disorder (I’m mean most of us probably do whether it’s over or under eating, otherwise why would we need the app 😂) blaming the app instead of taking responsibility for under or over eating is a cop out and just lazy. Seek a licensed professional to help you work through the mental stuff… not an app folks. Like I said, I’ll update this review after I purchase the premium version. Hope this review helps some of y’all out..Version: 8.20

Great appI previously had the MyPlate app which I loved and the app is now obsolete. I first tried MyFitnessPal and was very disappointed with how not user friend so it was. This app is much more intuitive and offers a ton of features and information. I love that this app doesn’t start adding calories back in until you have hit your average steps in a day. After the free trial period for the premium version I will be purchasing it. This app works and keeps me motivated…. Down almost 7 lbs.Version: 9.8

Best fitness coachI have using my net diary from past 6-7 years and this app has always kept me on track. Love it. No other app can beat this one..Version: 9.10

Please add something for periodsYour menstrual cycle increases your metabolic rate, which is the amount of energy you expend while at rest. The weeks leading up to your period, you actually burn more calories than any other time of the month. I always end up starving the week before or I end I feeling terrible when I go over the budget. If this could be added and the budget be adjusted to the difference phases of the cycles this would be amazing.Version: 8.73

RLGreat app !! Free of charge and easy to use!!.Version: 9.8

AAA+ Highly RecommendJust WOW 🤩 I’ve trialled a number of meal tracking apps, including “popular” apps that get a lot of promotion. I would rate the accuracy of this database way way above similar apps. I especially love the extent to which it tracks micronutrients. It actually populates the micro nutrient fields, accurately! Makes MyFitnessPal appear as though it was created by the work experience kid! The scanner is uber quick and the format is very user-friendly. A bonus is the visuals, which are even more impressive when accessed via the web. Overall, MyNetDiary blows other meal planner/tracker apps out of the water. Definitely deserves 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.Version: 8.95

Perfect app for counting caloriesI have access, for free, to another app through work. They’re not big on calorie counting (or data from my phone), which is what works best for me. I’ve tried other apps for calorie counting (MyFinessPal, anyone? Noom?) as well as this one. But this is the one I keep coming back to. I’ve lost 15-20lbs with this app twice: ten years ago, and again 3 years ago. I’m back to lose my pandemic 15. I’m big into numbers and visualizing numbers. I find that even if one number didn’t improve during a certain period, I could always find another that did. This app hasn’t changed much in 10 years, and it doesn’t need to! The pro version also flexes to account for days you walk more. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking primarily to track their calories or another nutrient. That said, tracking calories isn’t for everyone, and I don’t know what it’s like to use consistently for longer than a year or for a larger amount of weight..Version: 8.15

OMG Everyone needs thisAfter using this app for a nearly a week I am the happiest i have ever been. For a long time. Have suffered from depression and being overweight, but since using this app, i enjoy eating much more as i now know how much to eat and what to eat to stop me overeating. And user friendly, OMG yes. I am now loosing weight and have never felt better and its only been a week. I’ll post another review in a few months with an update and be rest assured, i am highly recommending this app to all my friends and facebook followers. Thank you again God Bless from M’Lady Caroline (and yes my title is real).Version: 7.84

Excellent AppFor something that’s free this app is a treasure. It is easy to use and keeps me in check. Love the ability to scan a product. Have lost weight. Definitely brilliant..Version: 8.96

BEST, MOST CONVENIENT & ACCURATE APP EVER!!For those who wants to track calories but want to do it easily and stylishly, this app is THE GO!! It scans and recognizes almost EVERY barcode of food products and the calories & nutrition values are accurate! I love love love the design, drawings and layout, it's convenient for me to just tap at my fav list and add my staples, also the cute drawings make me want to do it all day long!!! Saying it's a handy app would be an understatement. It saves and analyse measurements and personal info BETTER THAN ANY other tracking apps i've used (which also requires premium upgrade with the least it could provide). If i could give 5000 stars i could..Version: 8.12

Calorie counting made easy but I could do without the guilt tripMy husband and I both use the free app. I understand counting calories but found it too easy to ignore without using a tool. I especially like the different options for measuring the size of a serving. My husband has never been interested in tracking his food intake in the past. He has finally decided to get serious about losing weight and loves being able to scan bar codes to log his diet program foods… As I continue to use this app, I’m increasingly frustrated with being graded for my food choices! I make these choices intentionally and am achieving my goals. Overall, this app has been helpful and easy to use. But I won’t be upgrading to a paid subscription. Update: I rcd a notification there was a response to my review but I haven’t found it yet. I’d already read responses similar reviews and was happy to learn the grading is optional and easy to fix: we’re back in business and I’m bumping my stars back up to 5. If this setting is going to remain a default, seems the prudent move would be to notify folks it’s optional after the first use!.Version: 8.44

So helpfulThis is so easy to follow. Helping me considerably to stay on track. Love it.Version: 8.4

Super helpful!Really worth it! Really accurate and helps you keep track of everything you eat/drink.Version: 8.88

Love itThis is my second time using this app and I really enjoy it. I love how the information is presented and how easy it is to use, the more I explore the app, the more amazing features I find..Version: 9.3

My Saviour!Like most people I have tried a lot of diets and like most people I yo-yo my weight without settling with a steady target weight. I realise that the only diet that is workable for me is a calorie controlled steady loss that allows me to eat enough to not feel uncomfortably hungry. I used a similar diet app which worked well but had a subscription that was prohibitive long term so to find this app with so many free elements has kick started my diet. I love the easy to use interface, the ability to scan bar codes and especially the integration with my Apple watch exercise app that automatically adds my walking exercise calories burned and adds them to my available calories to use if I want. Enjoying my experience as I see my weight reduce week by week..Version: 8.60

I’ve lost weight!Brilliant app, it has really helped me stick with eating better, it’s a bit of fun counting calories lol.Version: 8.58

The best app I could not live without it.Amazing..Version: 9.3

Yes!I knew my eating habits were not great, and now I understand exactly how I’ve been eating all the wrong things thinking I was ok, yet I was missing huge amounts of what I actually needed! The premium version is worth every penny. In 2 days I’m already swapping foods that felt healthy for foods that actually have the nutrients I need! All carbs, no protein: no wonder I had no energy! It’s fun, informative, encouraging, and beautifully designed. Easy to use, and I’m still discovering new areas to explore inside the app. 3 days in, and I’ve blown past every nutrition goal set - completely eye opening to log my regular eating and see how far wrong I was! Day 3, I’ve got balanced meals planned all day and a little left over extras! Wish me luck ☺️ Awesome app. Thank you to the creators: you’re helping a lot of people 🙏.Version: 9.3

Pretty impressedOverall if all the information they are giving you is accurate than I’m pretty pleased with this app! It’s exactly what I’ve been looking for and the free version is still just as effective if you’re looking to see what your daily intake of calories, fats all that stuff is. I keep it in my everyday app use and update it either when I’m going to bed or just throughout the day if I am not doing anything. :) 4/5 stars because I’m sure the 5/5 would be with the premium option.Version: 8.4

Great appHelps me to stay on track! Barcode scanning instantly works on most products on the market. Super easy to use UI, no confusion.Version: 5.45

Give it a whackI am notorious for starting health and giving up within a few days, like an absolute idiot I started using this app 4 weeks before Christmas, I was solidly using it for 3 weeks and dropped a stone (I’m 5foot 7 and weigh 15 stone, so it’s really not hard to drop lots of weight quickly in the beginning) and then of course Christmas hit, I stopped using the app because honestly I thought it would probably judge me for the levels of crap I was shovelling into my fat face and I gained it all back in a week. Now here is where our story becomes a trifle different to subsequent dalliances with health , ordinarily I would just give up now. “Screw it I’m always going to be fat, what’s the point “ But OH CONTRAIRE this app has actually caught my attention enough that I’m back, and I’m going to do it. The pedometer is cool, except I forget to take my phone with me most places so most days it looks like I do absolutely nothing in a day, but that’s my fault. So yeah, it’s worth a crack tbf, even the free version is comprehensive enough that fat pos like me can actually make a difference to their lives..Version: 8.3

HARD TO FAULTI started with the free version, which honestly gave me everything I needed - particularly for the first few weeks. This is a great example of an intelligent, intuitive app. I love that it brings up recent/last food searches first, and then has the serving size you used (in the past) as the first option. I’m now on the premium version and the recipes and “menus” are next level amazing. Beautiful photography/styling, plus you can easily adjust number of servings in each recipe, as well as get the ingredients in grams. Would give this app six stars if I could!.Version: 8.73

This app helped me lose 10kgThis app is extremely useful at helping to lose weight and live a healthier lifestyle. The home screen is fully customisable and allows you to add or remove certain elements. I love the food rating as it’s a simple way to know if a food offers a good balance of nutrition. The app also has a large catalogue and don’t have any issues when it comes to logging foods brought at a shop. I only really have issues when logging restaurant food and I usually have to manually type in the nutrients/macros..Version: 8.83

Best App Ever!I was looking for an calorie counting app that had a lot of bells and whistles. This one ticks all the boxes. I paid for Premium and love love love all the features. A year’s cost of Premium for this app would only give you 2 months on WW here in Australia. Love that it has heaps of Australian foods. Love the Create A Meal and putting in your own recipes, plus the custom foods. Love all the extras. You will not be disappointed with this app. 10/10 from me..Version: 8.46

Awesome AppAccurate and dependable, holds you accountable, constantly updating as my progress is being made. Enjoy the weekly reports that I send out to my trainer whom then tweaks for continuing success Great menu suggestions, as well for weekly shopping..Version: 9.10

Love this AppI love how this app tracks everything I need to see to help me on my weight loss journey. I’ve tried other apps and this app, IMHO, is the best by far..Version: 9.8

Still love the appBlind unwell malnourished tube feeder here guys doing well and almost keeping on target most days with the excellent reminders to eat and drink love you my net diary and nutritional coaches thankyou for all your hard work working out all my nutritional needs too keep me going support is so important I couldn’t get it anywhere else at this level with your dietitians , my hospital dietitians and specialists are over the moon to get my weekly reports from you and in a easy way to process quickly and add to my hospital feed data base ,! Really don’t think I could do it without you now and being blind your Siri features make it so easy xx.Version: 8.96

Easy to use no mater where you areUsed lots of apps but always come back to this one. Dash board and reminders are great.Version: 5.45

Best App everI downloaded My Net Diary today to find it’s the best FREE Calorie counting App out there. I started my weight loss journey in May this year and I have lost 24 kg to date. I have tried other apps which were not what I wanted but kept them to track weight loss without calorie counting. I will use this new app to maintain my weight. I recommend this program whole heartedly. Thanks for such a wonderful App..Version: 9.3

AwesomeWhat a great app now that I have learned how easy it is to import recipes from the web. WOW!!!!.Version: 9.3

No tracking, affordable premiumI wanted a free calorie tracker that wouldn’t track everything down to where I pluck my eyebrows, and I found mynetdiary. -does what’s on the tin and more - it links with my apple watch -the free version never bombarded me with ads (or tracked me!) like myfitnesspal, a popular competitor I ended up subscribing for the year after using it free for a month and I love being able to track my iron intake, especially as someone with anemia trying to lose weight. oh, and this app helped me lose 10 lbs so far. great app!.Version: 9.1

So much loveI used myfitnesspal in the past, and I just didn't like it. In my hands this app is much easier to use, and less "busy". MFP didn't suit me because I don't want to be in some kind of online community, I don't want to be super low carb, I'm not going down to 1200 calories a day, I just want to get the job done without a lot of hassle. With this app, I can usually quickly find what I ate/drank already in the database which is very important to me. I actually find that I enjoy logging my calories! I've been using this app for almost 6 weeks, lost over 12 pounds and am over halfway to my goal weight without being a completely hangry, miserable wretch. I am using the free version. I'd buy the full version but it's too expensive, and I don't want to pay a monthly fee. I do think they should work on their pricing to make it more reasonable to upgrade. Still, I am very thankful for this app and can truly see me using it from now on as part of a PERMANENT lifestyle change..Version: 8.88

Lindy McNBest app ever, easy to use and concise! I’ve been recommending it to all my friends!!!.Version: 7.84

Feels betterI Don't usually write reviews, but this just made me want to. Had it for about 2 weeks now and although I haven’t lost much, I feel a lot better. I feel more in control of what I eat and keeping track has helped me in so many ways. Not only do I feel physically better because I’ve been able to look and see what I need nutrition wise, but mentally I feel better too because I’m not worrying if what I’m eating is too much or too little i just can look and know, enough to go to the gym and not feel embarrassed by not really knowing what I’m doing yet (which is silly i ever felt that way because I’m there for me nog anyone else). I’m not a whole lot overweight so I didn't really get this with losing weight being my biggest reason, mostly I just didn’t feel good and knew something was off, I thought I was taking care of myself but seeing my progress physically and mentally over the past two weeks having made some changes based on the tracking this app has provided, I know I wasn't. Im genuinely so grateful for this app and know I’m going to continue to progress as I learn new things about taking care of myself every day!.Version: 8.65

The BEST app for calorie counting and weight management. This app is AMAZING. You are able to log all your food items, all you do is type what you ate and it will pop up a bunch of options of stuff that other people have logged or that they added by default. If what you’re looking for isn’t there, you can add it!! They also allow you to add how much water you’ve drank each day, and add the calories you’ve burned from exercise back to your daily budget! The last awesome thing I’ll mention is the app will let you plug in your weight now, and make a plan for how much you’d like to lose per week, then it will give you a calorie max along with a projected date of when you will reach that weight!! This is just of the tip of the iceberg. You get all this and a LOT more without premium, but with premium you can access personal diets and exercises along with the “coach” option. All in all, this is the best app if you’re looking to count calories and lose weight..Version: 8.73

Absolutely fantastic range of Australian foodsLove the range of Australian foods in the database and it’s super easy to add new items or even add custom meals that you create yourself. Also love that many menu items from restaurants are in the database too which makes it really easy to track my calories when eating out, and again very easy to add new items. The premium recipes are great for giving me food ideas, I enjoy the articles and blog posts, and I love all of the tracking features like being able to see all of my nutrients for the day. The app has a very welcoming and positive vibe to it with little guiding tips and motivation sprinkled throughout. I absolutely love the app and highly recommend it especially for Australians because of the massive range of Aussie foods and how easy it is to use..Version: 8.31

YayYou don't need to pay for premium for this to be an amazing app that really helps you lose weight!.Version: 9.1

Good easy appI’ve tried zillions of these apps. I have weight to lose and keep paying and cancelling for all the popular diet apps to try. At the end of the day the app has to suit your lifestyle and this fits the bill. I thought 4.99 a month is really good value considering m pared to others and as long as you are logging daily you get analytics which enable you to tweak things to improve your compliance and ultimately Sussex. I’m very happy it’s been a week and 5lbs down.Version: 8.76

A great asset.I have loved using this App. I've needed to be on a new eating plan for Rheumatoid Arthritis and watch what foods cause reactions. The App has been marvellous to keep track of food do I can monitor responses accurately. Also the 'notes' and 'vitamins' section helps me keep track of all the different tablets I take and that's been hugely helpful. I'm very appreciative if this App thankyou for making it simple and so easy to use. I have recommended it many times..Version: 3.30

Such a great appI am a big fan of minimising but also of trAcking, which can often mean I end up with 50 apps that all only serve one function. This app is excellent because it can track weight, water, measurements, macros and it syncs with your heath app to auto import exercise. It’s the best health app I’ve encountered and using it allowed me to get ride of around four apps. Would 100% recommend this one. It’s also super intuitive so not to intimidating for people new to tracking macros..Version: 7.74

Fantastic app with bags of useful free featuresIt’s a rarity I leave reviews for apps, but this app certain deserves a 5 star review. I’ve always been a slim person. However, with the last 18 months being in lockdown and starting a new job where I’m now at a desk all day I’ve piled the weight on. The real turning point for me was when I saw that my BMI was classed as over weight. A colleague recommended this app to me. I’ve only been using it for 2 weeks and I’ve lost half a stone. It’s so easy to use. The free features are amazing and very in-depth. Sometimes I really lack motivation to diet, but this app has certain helped to drive me, which in turn is driving my weight down. There’s features you can pay for, which I have t yet. But I’m considering it seeing as the free features are brilliant. Highly recommend!.Version: 8.20

Great way to lose weightHaving tried most things, this works. I can eat what I want, knowing the calories I am consuming to meet my goal. Fits in with my busy life as it is easy to log food and calculate calories, see where you are at in the day and add fitness goals too if you like - all free! I lost 5lb in my first week by keeping to my goal. If you have a date in mind that you need to lose the weight by it will calculate the calories you need to have each day to achieve it!.Version: 8.6

User friendly app; love it!So easy to use and track. Also love the notifications as a reminder. 2 weeks in and lost 3.5lbs. Feeling good!.Version: 9.1

FantasticThis is the best app I have ever used. It allows you to do so much and with this guide it makes it easier to understand and keep to a schedule that’s suitable for you 👍.Version: 7.20

Top of the topThis app has so many great features. I am just amazed!.Version: 9.8

49 down; 23 to go!After having a baby and breastfeeding for a year and a half, I had gained a lot of weight. Got all the way up to 219. In the past, Atkins/keto diet worked for me but not this time. I had to go back to basics; back to what worked for me in high school... I had to count calories. This app has been indispensable. Most user-friendly layout I've seen. Very complete list of foods and nutritional info. Simple, to the point and so supportive. I've lost 49 pounds so far -- 31 since April of this year -- and I have another 23 pounds to lose to get back to my pre-baby body. Just walking and counting calories consistently has done it for me. Don't think I could have done it without this app. 👍🏽👍🏽 Update 12/19: Another baby and another big gain. This time, I have paid for the premium subscription in order to sync with my FitBit and earn more food calories from day to day. Loving the upgraded features! Once again, when I consistently stick to MyNetDiary’s recommended caloric intake, the weight comes off steadily. 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾.Version: 7.50

Favourite calorie & water tracking appI recently started back taking care of my health and fitness. I have to credit this app for really helping me through my weight loss journey. I love using the clean interface on the app and I track my calories and water intake easily. There are widgets and shortcuts that I am using daily. It has been the best calorie counting app I’ve used to date. I would highly recommend the app 👍🏻.Version: 8.60

Highly Recommended!I have been seeing a Nutrionist and have struggled to stay on track even though she's given me a list of what to eat and when to eat it. Since I started using this app one week ago, I have lost 1.9kgs. I'm a very visual person so this is just what I need, I can see what I've eaten and what I need to do to keep on track. It's also a great tool to help me make good decisions when I'm eating out as I can check the calorie content of different foods..Version: 3.50

Not in syncSo I have my "MyFitnessPal" and "Sworkit" app in sync with each other and with my Apple Health app; I tried syncing "MyNetDiary" together with my Health App since it wouldn't let me sync with any other app and I went through with allowing access to my Health App which (AGAIN) synced with "MyFitnessPal" and "Sworkit" and is documented on the Health app; I completed a workout from the app Sworkit and since it's in sync with "MFP" it was documented on MyFitnessPal saying how much calories I burned (Perfect), I went into my Health App it again, showed how much calories I burned and for how long my workout was. I go into MyNetDiary and my exercise box was empty and not showing that I had worked out or anything, not only that, I documented my food on MFP and it didn't even show up on MND. I will say it again if I didn't write it before, MyNetDiary showed that it was in Sync with my Health app and I made sure everything was selected when asked for permission so I don't understand why my workout/exercise didn't show up on MND nor my food until I had to manually type it/search it. Is it because of the other apps being in sync? Is it because I didn't manually insert the info directly from the Health app? Please help me, I used to use MND long ago and I liked it then, if you could please partner up with MFP and Sworkit so I can sync them from the MND app or help me understand why it's not showing up..Version: 7.58

Excellent AppThis is an excellent calorie counter app. Lots of options. You track fasting as well so you don’t need a fasting app if you’re into that. And the annual subscription goes on sale every once in a while. I highly recommend it..Version: 9.8

This app is a lifesaverI came across the app, as I was looking eagerly to loose weight, and this had helped me so much with my diet. Dieting is 80% of a weight loss journey, and this app has really helped me with that. I’m looking forward to continue using this app, and I would definitely recommend this to anyone who needs help, like me, to control the amount of calories you eat. This app is really an eye opener, it made me realised the abundant amount of calories and sugar I used to intake. It’s really made me rethink what I put in my mouth. I love this app..Version: 7.92

ProgressI love this app because it keeps me honest when adding the calorie count.Version: 9.1

Best food diary app by far10/10. Fantastic to use and delighted to see it recognises Cambridge Diet food hurray! This app is free from distractions, ads and gives a really clear front page overview of your day for food, exercise, steps and water. The dark background makes it easy on the eye too. It shows after each entry, where you are with your calories consumed and how many you have left on your personal target via the green apple-which turns red when you are over. It calculates carbs, fat and protein by pie chart and I like the little images/emojis for every food and drink entry again making it clear what you have had. More on offer with Premium with fitness trackers etc, but I haven’t tried that yet. Really pleased I have this app on my weight loss journey 💚.Version: 7.92

Perfect for meI love this app, I’ve been using it ... the free version, for a few years now! I’m hopeless at maintaining my weight as I love food!! So I use this app to keep my weight under control. It is brilliant for this! When I’ve put on half a stone or more, I just go on a diet using this app. It’s easy use, gives you pretty much all the info you need to diet the way you want to. What is great, is that you can see when & if you can have snacks or not, mapping my exercise, so I can be in credit, it’s a bit like a bank account. & if you have a bad day of tucking you can make up for it the next day, Or saving up for a meal out. I lost 4 stone about 6/7 years ago & have been trying to maintain my weight ever since, I’ve managed it with the help of this app. I do go up & down in weight but no more than a stone, so I think that’s pretty good, especially when you hear most people who lose a lot of weight put it all back on & more! It’s simple to use & the more you use it the quicker it becomes, I can’t rate it high enough!!.Version: 8.5

App working wellI am using the app in conjunction with a Fitbit in an effort to lose weight. It's ease of use and extensive library of Australian foods is far superior to the Fitbit food library , which seems very USA centric and less easy to navigate. So far , it is helping me clearly see what I am consuming in calories and segmenting the by type (F/C/P), and the Fitbit app is clearly showing what I am expending . Focusing on the difference is helping me keep to my goals of weight loss..Version: 5.45

Best food/meal tracking app ever!I have used MyFitnessPal and even the “easy” meal tracker app which came free with my gym membership. This app is hands down the easiest one I have ever used. I’m so motivated to enter my meals. Thank you for the awesome free content. Please keep it free!.Version: 9.1

Great free app!!!This app is brilliant, let's you know exactly how much you can eat to lose weight and gives you daily breakdowns etc. I'm going to buy the pro version even though the free one is perfect. I have lost some weight and I think that's worth paying for!.Version: 0

Loving this app and it's freeThis has been very helpful in letting me track calories, fats, protein, and fibre intake. The method for entering foods not in the database is easy and reasonably quick. It tracks exercise too, and takes account of calories burnt during exercise. Finally, the Analysis part lets you know if you're okay for breakfast calories, energy from saturated fat, sodium intake for the day, etc..Version: 0

AMAZING APP JUST WHAT I WAS LOOKING FORI have tried other apps and completely India’s this app I know was made by somehow who tracks themselves most apps offer the same standard things but this app has some great unique features: you can combien ingredients to make meals which you can just tap to add all the ingredients at once, it has all of your recently added things so if your diet is consistent tracking is extremely easy, it has a MASSIVE catalog and if your item isn’t their you can make food profiles and customise all of the macros calories and micronutrients, and even if something is not there you can photograph the food not in the catalog and request it to be added the only con is that the free version doesn’t provide you with a macronutrient total which some other apps did.Version: 8.55

Easy to use and keep updatedIt has been easy to use this app and to remember to update it with widget that lives on my Home Screen. The different trend charts are helpful to better understand food choices, macros and weight loss progress. Lots of tips along the way. Have used similar apps before but feel this has given a better user friendly experience for a lower subscription cost..Version: 8.60

Best food logging appThis app is a game changer for food logging. It is accurate (mostly), so easy to log food and has so many stats and figures for the data lovers (such as myself). Ive already lost 0.7 kg in a week from logging food as it has raised my awareness and knowledge about calorie intake. Also love that it does you all the macro and micro ingrediants. There are many more features than the free food logging apps that make this a fun and informative app. Highly recommend..Version: 8.65

Frantastic app for watching what you eat.Great app for monitoring what one eats on a daily basis, easy to use and great features. Like the new layout and functionality..Version: 6.97

Must have appI use it every day, it's helped me lose 5kgs! Lots of functionality on nutrition and exercise so there will be no more excuses for those looking to manage their weight..Version: 3.60

Great easy appExactly what I was after , easy to log food and dies all the work for you.Version: 8.57

My favorite, I’ve tried many! Down 30lbs in 3 monthsThis is by far my favorite app for calorie counting, weight loss (or gain if that is your goal!) and being more mindful about my health in general. I’ve tried Noom, Myfitnesspal, and others and although they seems flashier, they are mostly just busier and less focused on what matters, the data. I also felt like the other apps were pushing their own staff written articles on you, their own recipe plans, etc etc. which honestly didn’t work for me and felt a bit inflexible. MyNetDiary is perfect for those who want complete control over their diet and health plan, while also having options for meal recommendations. I think my net diary wouldn’t be a good fit for those who really need guidance around what meals to eat and cook, since in my opinion, there is a lot of self-discipline needed to make this app work. Also, the community forum aspect of the app could use a ton of work. When it works though it works. I’ve lost 30lbs in 3 months and planning to love another 30 in 6 months. 100% would recommend..Version: 8.73

A great daily food log!I began using MyNetDiary a few years ago, then took a break, enrolled in Noom for a few months, then when returning to MyNetDiary and realized how perfect this app is! My philosophy in using MyNetDiary is to target a total A- rating each day for the day total. Each meal should be A- and snacks, although these may total B+, should not result in the daily total being A-. These goals are especially handy when for whatever reason, travel, etc., result in an unusual choice of breakfast items, etc. You can then use MyNetDiary to see if a serving of low-fat cheese or a couple of boiled egg whites will bring you back to an A- rating for the meal or snacks. Targeting all 3 meals at an A- rating is a great strategy. This results in having high quality protein, veggies and/or fruit and small amounts of quality carbs, ideal for either weight loss or maintaining your ideal weight. If I sound like a fan of MyNetDiary, I would say that I am absolutely a devotee! Try this app, you will love this!.Version: 8.25

Reining in my bad habitsHave found the app great Being able to visually see how I’m going each day and over time. Keep me motivated and accountable The visual goal keeps me on track, love seeing the sled move also the total unused kj behind the Home Screen Not sure why the slide down is only temporary? It would be nice to get an acknowledgement or congratulations from the app once you reached your goal after putting so much work into getting there. I learnt about kJ and food staples. Potato, pasta & rice Carbohydrates, most of all the effects of alcohol and the extra eating habits that go with it. Have give up drinking for now which is have a big effect This is the third time I’ve used the app to help me control my weight, I learn more find it easier each time Well do MyNetDiary.Version: 8.80

Works super well, very helpfulCouldn’t be happier with this app. It helped me set a reasonable calorie goal, and searching up food and scanning items is super easy. It’s been a great help for me to understand exactly, or at least close enough ball park, of what I eat so I can manage my calorie intake. There is no annoying notifications, or overwhelming weight loss stuff pushed on me, so it’s really just a straight forward tool..Version: 9.1

Came for the free scanner, stayed and upgraded because this app is awesome!Used MFP for almost a decade, even payed for premium a few years (not really worth the $80 in my opinion). Once they got rid of free scanning it just became tedious, even though I already had so many saved foods and recipes. A random Reddit recommend sent me to find MND and I was so impressed by all the information, charts, detailed explanations and all the free bells and whistles. Loved being able to scan for free again! After only a month of using the free version, I decided to take advantage of a discount and upgraded for the recipe importing (which wasn’t super necessary, as scanning ingredients makes easy work of creating recipes [one of my annoyances with MFP after free scanning was removed]), and for less than half the price of MFP! Will never go back. No app is perfect but I tried a few before this one (including LoseIt!) and this one is the best IMO!.Version: 8.91

Outstanding in so many waysLike others, I have tried a variety of tracking apps but this by far surpasses anything I have used. It is fun, visually appealing, intuitive, and has every feature I need. I no longer use Fasting as a tool but I could see where including it with this app would be an upside. As smart as these developers are I’m sure they could find a way. One feature I really like is the ability to write myself a note for a future date. On days where I know I will be eating out and need to give myself an extra peptalk I can have the note waiting for me on that particular day. This is good for vacation, weekends, and special occasions. I have found that this positive self talk makes a difference. I also love the way that exercise integrates with the calorie counting. It has inspired me to take that extra spin around the park on numerous occasions. Just a big thank you to the developers for their persistence in coming up with a really good tool..Version: 8.38

Brilliant motivatorI have been using this app since the end of September 2018 and I have lost over two stone since then After a few months I upgraded to the full app and this has been a good idea. Logging in my food with the bar codes and food searches is really easy and the reminders to log in regularly keeps me on track. I have linked my readings from my scales via Bluetooth to my phone and this app and this has been a great motivator. I found that , unknown to me ,my daughter was using the same app. Her weight loss has been even better than mine and she showed me how to get the best from it. Delighted with this app. :-). Update. March 2020 Weight still going down. It’s my lowest in over 20 years. (I’m 77) Only problem is I’ve gone down 3 dress sizes and it’s has meant buying new clothes. Shame!! Great app. CG June 2022. I’m still using this app and have managed to keep my weight under control control during Covid :-).Version: 8.38

The most used app on the phoneI chose to go on an intermittent diet with eight hours on and 16 hours off, with no real limitations other than that. I was losing weight and eventually I realized I needed to know what my calories were providing me since I was actually cutting down. I downloaded this app and instantly realized that there was no way I could do without it. It showed me what percentages of protein carbohydrates and fat were in everything that I chose. And scanning any particular food is so easy. I had a scale that was accurate in grams and ounces etc., so I was able to accurately record and see what I was having. I have lost a pound a week for 30 weeks and it’s peeling off easy because I enjoy the food I eat but I also understand that portion control has to be there. I enjoy this app immensely, it’s an amazing sidekick for dieting. It has the ability to leave notes to read articles , recipes, and information about dieting and so much more. I usually don’t rant about any of the apps on my phone and I must have 40 of them, but I will say this is definitely worth having..Version: 8.43

All you need to begin your gods logging journeyThis is a vey beginner friendly app that has lots of nice feature including a blog, a large food database, and the ability to log quick calories if you are just estimating calories without knowing the nutrition or are just in a rush o log your food. However, what pushed it over the edge for me was the food grading system. For beginners like me who are just getting into fitness and have not really payed attention to things like nutrition in the past, the food grading system is a perfect way to aim for getting the best nutrition possible. All food are given a rating A-D representing how good they are in terms of thing like nutrition and calories. This grade will also get worse if you go a solid amount above the serving size of said food. Overall, the grading system is a great way to stay accountable for what foods you are eating and to get a good idea of what foods you should eat and what to stay away from. You will be surprised at at least some food that are less healthy than you thought they were!.Version: 8.77

Great free appAlmost matches the weightwatchers food tracker in some ways, and exceeds it in otter (free, on phone) if some more work was done on the food tracking system it would be perfect - would be nice to be able to combine foods into a 'dish' and save that for repeat use. Otherwise awesome thanks..Version: 0

Easy to useVery easy to input what you eat, when you can remember! I wish there was an alarm or prompt to use it per day! It reminds me I don't eat or drink enough and burn too many calories running around!.Version: 3.30

No better app than this...period!Thank you to the developers, staff and all involved!.Version: 9.9

Amazing appLove this app been using it for 3 months now ..Version: 9.7

Winkles46I’ve been using this app for about a week. I must admit, I started it wearily, because I’ve used weight loss apps before, and found them so cumbersome, and difficult to log food onto. This one is a very pleasant surprise, and now I feel quite enthusiastic about it! It’s so easy to use, the frequently used food items, with the amounts come up as soon as you start tapping. I love the charts and graphs, which are so encouraging. I’m using the free app atm, but as soon as I have lost a bit more weight, I’ll buy monthly, as the app tailors the amount of daily calories to weight loss, and also I’ll have access to more recipes..Version: 8.73

Thoughtful features that make tracking so much easier!I got tired of the advertising and shrinking features of a competitor app so switched to MyNetDiary and am so glad I bit the bullet. It has so many features that have made tracking easier. I went for the paid version, which is very reasonably priced, but the free version is also great. There are no unverified food entries, so you don’t have to comb through a long list of inaccurate or incomplete foods to find what you want. One of my favorite features is that I can send them screen shots of my meal kit nutritional info and they verify and add it to the database within hours. I was having to enter the information manually every week with my old app. I also love that they let you edit a food item (not a recipe) to add or subtract an ingredient. So, for example, if you are eating out but asked for a substitution in your entree or maybe didn’t eat the bread, you can just enter the whole entree and subtract a food from it. No need to enter each item individually. I also really like the calorie cycling feature so that I can lower my calorie budget for early in the week and give myself more of a buffer on the weekends. This is a great app!.Version: 8.65

Amazing App! Great in both free and premium!I have never reviewed an app before! But my god! This app is fantastic! The free version provides a new user with more then enough to get going, to track and to even content create! I upgraded to the premium version today! Very impressed with the extra data that you get to analysis! Well done on such an amazing app! I would love to suggest one additional feature that would be an amazing option for premium users - optional extra meals slots 💁🏼‍♂️ this would suit anyone who eats more then the standard 3 meals and snacks per day..Version: 8.83

Perfect appI’ve been trying to find the perfect “tracking” app for a long time and accidentally found this one. Since getting it I have had a bunch of friends DL it too as it’s so easy and holds you accountable to all your health goals. 10/10 recommend!.Version: 9.8

Excellent AppI used another app for weight loss management but became annoyed with the constant nagging to subscribe... So I looked for another app that could do the same or better and found this one. Yes, there's a subscription or "Max" level but there's no nagging or ads of any sort and that's a great relief. This app is fresh, fully featured and easy to use.... Happy to pay a one of payment to sorry development but I do not like the subscription model being pushed on the Apple App store currently so while this app offers so much without the need to subscribe, I'm in!.Version: 6.77

Fantastic!I don't usually write reviews but this app is easy to use and has a lot of features! I even upgraded to the pro version..Version: 3.30

If your looking for a life style change not a diet.I have struggled with diets and my weight for manny years. I been keto and vegan lol. This app is easy to use. I am becoming more mindful of what I eat. I’m making better choices and even I a day I go over my limit, I go back to better choices the next day so I feel like it’s balances out. No longer feel guilty or failure. If I want to eat the dam cake I eat it and then just make healthy choice the rest of the week Or just a smaller option portion size. Every thing in moderation including moderation..Version: 8.60

Love this appThis app is visually appealing and engaging. I can't rave enough. I upgraded to premium so I could get step bonus and import my recipes from my Recipe Keeper App or online recipes. I love to fiddle with the recipes to get portions to suit my family and my goals. I've been using the app for a month and have lost 3.4 kg. Only annoying thing is the plethora of items in the database that are repeated and/or incomplete. For example, Coles lite milk is in the database 5 times. Another example is Special K where I noticed that the entry I chose did not have fibre and since I am watching that closely in order to manage diverticular disease, it matters. I had to find another entry that did have that data. It responds well to bar codes although sometimes they are completely wrong so always double check the label for portion size and cal/kj to make sure..Version: 8.58

EssentielVraiment utile pour savoir combien de calories on consomme. Mais encore plus, c’est utile pour savoir comment on consomme TOUS les nutriments. App vraiment bien fait et utile..Version: 9.10

Great choice for beginners!I've been using this app for months now, it's very easy to search or scan food to log and to add in your own items. It's quick and easy to use and helps me keep track!.Version: 8.21

Great, Easy and Always ImprovingAny nutrition tracking app is going to be an intrusion on your day, especially if you like cooking. To do it well, (and if you don’t the don’t bother at all as you’re just self deluding) requires time and effort. But having used My NetDiary on and off for several years I am impressed with how much effort they’ve put in to making it slick and easy to use. The barcode scanning was a big step, and direct import of recipes is great and can only get better. ( I love cooking but why don’t they always tell you the nutrition info?). Automatically importing vitamins and minerals from supplements is another big step. The best results for me come from using it like a game, what if I put dinner into MND before I make it, then adjust quantities and ingredients to ensure I finish the day on target. Informative and kind of fun. So it’s less fiddling and more insight into what you’re actually eating, and I’m down 15lbs, learning and enjoying the trip. Improvements? Blood glucose/ketone ratio tracking as standard. AI driven suggestions to manage nutrient deficiencies within macros. kJ or Cal numbers when sending food photos for inclusion in the database . Team up with a Bluetooth scale company for even faster data input..Version: 8.2

Really goodI had been putting on a lot of weight for 6 months (from 78 to 86kg) and I knew I was eating a lot, but I hadn’t realised how much my eating habits changed until I logged everything I ate for a few day. Over 10k kj a day so since that week I’ve been on a deficit and it’s worked really well. I’m not good with diets and eating healthy but I lost 2 kg in 3 weeks and I’ve made so much progress that the goals had updated and were pushed forward 4 months (I like that feature). There are some things that you need to pay premium for, but if you’re like me, and don’t find it too difficult to lose weight , you should be good without premium. 4/5 because I wish there was more stuff you could find when you logged your food. I often go online to find and calculate my calories, since I don’t really do exact measurements..Version: 8.58

Useful app for weight controlThis app has helped me to lose 6.5kg since January with very little effort. The database of foods makes logging of intake easy, and the chart shows daily progress as a spur to achieve the target. Upgrade version would probably provide more options, but the free version has satisfied my needs..Version: 5.45

So motivational!Love this app. From someone that has never watched what I eat or exercised , now thanks to this app I am doing both, I love it!! On track for my weight loss, wahoo!!.Version: 8.60

Simple Easy and Very UsefulI tried about 3-4 apps and decided to keep this one. It is easy to record, with a fairly good database for calculating calories. Its function is simple, but just as I wanted : a basic record of my daily diet and calories; i don’t need any more complicated calculations or well being programmes. Simple as it is, its most basic but useful function is to give you a sense of calories “ budget” that raises your awareness to manage diet sensibly. Another of my favourite function is the weekly pdf report it generates, that I can share with my personal trainer. I use the free version and it still gives me some nice bonus function: you can see your daily and weekly proportion of carbs and protein, so you get to know if your carbs is on a higher proportion and you can see the result when you adjust your diet. Very nice app I d happily recommend to friends!.Version: 8.73

Happy to DietI like the app better than the other popular one. I find the colors pleasing. Also scanning and entering foods is easier and better at picking serving sizes. I’m very happy I decided to try this one. Thank you for this great app.Version: 9.8

Finally! A well thought out dieting appI’ve tried a few different calorie counting apps but they all seemed to make it difficult in one way or another, so I ended up not using them consistently and eventually giving up. I’ve only been using this one a couple of days but so far it seems ideal. The display is clear and puts the key information - how many calories you have left for the day - front and centre (although you can also customise what information is displayed and where). It can sync with Apple Health so it picks up my calories burned/steps/exercise from my Apple Watch automatically and adjusts my calorie allowance to account for my exercise. It’s really quick and easy to input what you’ve eaten - the barcode scanning tool is great. Basically this app makes it easy to track my food and exercise and displays that information clearly. You wouldn’t think that was revolutionary, but it’s the first app I’ve found so far that does it well. There are also some handy extras - I like the daily analysis, it’s concise and useful information (I was under my calorie target today but had slightly too much saturated fat - and it told me which food was the culprit). I’m not paying for the Max subscription so I don’t know whether those added features make a big difference, but the app just as it comes is really good..Version: 5.45

Even the free version is extremely helpful! My teenage daughter (who does NOT need to lose weight but likes to be mindful oh the nutrients she puts into her body) of all people introduced me to this app and I couldn’t be happier with it! Even just using the unpaid, free, version is ridiculously helpful and helps me be more mindful of my food options! I’ve been using this app for somewhere around 2 weeks and I’ve already lost 8 pounds simply because I’m able to see the calories that are hidden in foods I’d typically eat as a snack or something! I can not recommend this app enough for anyone who either wants to lose weight or simply wants to be more conscious and conscientious of the foods they eat! My “calorie bank” for the day is far more generous than I would give myself, were I trying to diet on my own! I can eat anything my little heart desires as long as I’m reasonable about it! (I went way over yesterday since it was my birthday and I wasn’t even pretending to try and keep myself on track!) As a woman who had an eating disorder as a teenager and who still struggles with those impulses to this very day (more than 15 later), this app is helpful in showing me excited where my calorie are coming from and EXACTLY how many I have consumed!.Version: 6.71

One requestGreat app - really happy with it - just have one request: It would be great when viewing the chart of weight loss you could hide the stars that give the percentage of body weight lost. I like to see them, it’s just when I zoom out on the chart to see my overall progress the stars get in the way a little. If they could appear and disappear in a similar way to when you tap on a specific date that would be perfect..Version: 7.36

Decent, but some annoyancesI like it a lot better than myfitnesspal as that’s just one giant advertisement for underarmor now, and this, while having a pro version, and offering you paid services, does so MUCH less intrusively, actually makes me consider paying for some of them… But before I go that far, there are some annoyances that other calorie tracking apps don’t have. For starters, it doesn’t do particularly well with fast food, which is really important for me to track… The recent Burger King specials like the quarter pound king and big king didn’t show up before they were gone, so I had to look up the calories and manually add them. I use the app to keep me honest about how much fast food I’m eating and that extra hurdle is frustrating. Secondly, the search bar keeps correcting me… trying to type in “Baconator” for example gets to bacon just fine, but then drops the ‘a’ while I’m typing, and if I try to stop myself and retype the a it keeps deleting it, or I can forge ahead and type ‘bacontor’ which doesn’t bring up any results. If these get fixed, great app, if they don’t, still pretty good, would recommend giving it a shot..Version: 8.49

Love it!So easy to use and it's great that it has so many different foods available in the search! And that you can add in your own food if you can't find it! It's nice to have everything worked out for you, bmr & bmi..Version: 3.50

This app is amazingSince starting to try to lose weight I would get to a point when I wasn’t losing anymore but still pretty big (even now I still am😂😂) but this app helped me stay accountable and encouraged me and so far I’ve went from 396 (in the beginning of this journey) and today I weighed in at 198.7 wow it’s awesome. I haven’t even paid for it and it’s helped immensely.Version: 9.7

Five Star App!This is a fantastic tool for weightloss, fitness, nutrient intake and more. Great reports and excellent tracking tools..Version: 8.65

A positive reviewI have been using this for about 3 days now. So far this has to be the best food/ calorie tracker on the AppStore. The barcode scan feature is insanely good. Adding your height, weight then being able to chose a target weight you want to reach then the apl gives you a max daily calorie intake to reach your goal is by definition simply beyond perfect not to mention the large display of recipes to chose from for a healthy alternative to the normal junk we all eat is just amazing and like I said I am only 3 days in and I have already lost 2 kilograms and many more to go. I praise the app developers and all that took part in the making of this app..Version: 8.60

Best eating & fitness app everReally good would only recommend this app have used it for 5 yrs ✔️.Version: 7.00

Lovin My WeightlossI’ve been at a standstill for a super long period of time but since using this app over the last few weeks I am down almost 15lbs..Version: 9.3

My progressMy net diary has changed my life. I can now discreetly but thoroughly monitor what I eat, how much I eat, how healthy or not my choices have been and how balanced I am with exercise and food. Now I am making progress with losing the weight I want to lose and I am feeling so positive. It's great!.Version: 3.50

Best app ever!I finally feel like I’m in control of my weight and my health. I love that I can scan barcodes and easily calculate the calories of each meal. Everything is easy to use, and for someone who is technically challenged, that’s a true compliment! I love how logging exercises gives me a larger calorie budget, so I feel rewarded after doing exercise with a little extra snack. I’ve lost 2.5kgs in two weeks and have not felt hungry once. I’m excited to fit back into my summer wardrobe before Christmas. I couldn’t be happier with this app💚.Version: 8.57

Great appStarted using this a week ago to try and help me lose weight and so far so good! It’s great for helping you monitor and reduce calorie intake and in my first week I’ve lost 7lb! Tried lots of different diets including following slimming world but until this app, nothing worked. The great thing with this app is your not restricted on the types of foods you eat, it just encourages you to eat in moderation to keep within your calorie budget and the more you stay within it, the better the weight loss! Great app as far as I’m concerned!.Version: 7.88

Definitely worth it!For the first time in a long time I’m actually losing weight this app helps me keep track it gives me ideas for recipes and if I find a recipe online I can import it and it will calculate all the kilojoules. I always thought I had to buy some sort of meal plan and pay for the food because I wasn’t sure how much of it I was eating but this app tells you everything you just have to buy scales for your food..Version: 8.9

Great appLove it! It so helpful in tracking my progress. Love the option to submit my data on the web and it is available on all my devices immediately! Recommend to all who want loose weight seriously;).Version: 3.50

Results speak for themselvesAbsolute banger of an app. Allows to me to keep progress of my daily intake whilst improving on how I can eat. The app is really intuitive, meaning easy to use. Keeps you informed of your caloric intake, whether the food is rated “A” for good or “D” to eat moderately of. Rating scale has been really beneficial. Trying to lose weight? The app will inform you of how much of a caloric deficit you’ll need to maintain (usually 500 calories than what you would usually eat in a day) and how you can achieve this. Hesitant when I first used it but can’t imagine life without it. Trying to lose weight and maintain a healthy lifestyle? Look no further, “MyNetDiary” is the app for you! Enjoy your healthy future amigos 🤘.Version: 8.9

Thanks for the helpSo far using this app I’ve lost 14kgs and hope to lose another 14kgs to get down to my goal weight !.Version: 8.20

Love this appI’ve never wanted to use an app to help in my weight loss journey as it’s so much flaffing about! However I came across this app and it’s so easy to use, either by scanning bar codes or searching for foods (easily) I’ve been using it for over a month and it’s been brilliant and has definitely helped me to track my calories, fats, carbs, and proteins. I love the ease of adjusting targets and calorie budget. I’m only using the free version and it’s got so many features giving you the chance to try it out before deciding if you want to upgrade to premium. The only slight downside is that the foods listed tend to be American options however that said most foods have a ‘generic’ option and you can easily weigh in grams to get exact weights and calories. Once you’ve scanned and added favourites it’s so quick to add them again for further meals. I can honestly say I’ve found this super helpful and have not missed any food logging as it’s so quick and easy, and it’s certainly helped me to be accountable. I’ve introduced this to a friend who is such a technophobe and even she can use it and it’s helped her loose a stone so far too!.Version: 8.63

It’s the best diet appUsed it for years. it’s the very best. helps me daily. my friend diet coach!.Version: 9.8

Success! 60 pounds downMyNetDiary has helped me reach my weigh loss goal! Love how I can easily scan food items and keep track of everything I eat. It also has helped me monitor my sodium and vitamin k intake. Could not have succeeded without the app. Now looking forward to maintenance using the weight plan program for guidance..Version: 9.1

Perfect!I have been using this app for 4 months now and I absolutely love it. I like how it has the chart to show how much weight you have lost in percentage. Also, the little tips that come up on the app are very helpful. It’s great how some foods are not on there when you search but you can add the calories or can add the food itself by creating it. I would only recommend adding some more indian foods as there isn’t much and have to type the calories yourself. Other than that a Great app! Definitely recommend..Version: 7.53

Diabetic readings & medication daily changesOverall the app is great, but there are 2 fixes you could do I am diabetic and live in Australia Blood sugar levels are measured daily by Mmol/l - I just tried for first time to enter reading and because you have USA readings it didn’t like my reading of 8.8, I don’t know the equivalent. My BSL monitor only does Mmol/l The other fix you could do is related to updating medication My insulin changes according to carbs I have consumed, but when I change the amount in the Med list it changes all amounts for the Med, so I can’t track when I’ve made changes. This would be really useful and important for my dietician and endocrinologist to assess my diet and BSL . Looking forward to seeing these updates.Version: 7.84

Best value on the market, sensible goalsForget the £10 a month plans with points or syns, the simple reality is you need to consume fewer calories than you burn to lose weight. This app helps you manage it in a practical way with recipes as ideas but not the only food you can eat. I use it to make sure I spread my calories over the day allowing for sensible snacks. It also works with my Fitbit to track steps and exercise with positive encouragement and reports to track progress..Version: 8.73

Amazing App!My 16-year-old son introduced me to this amazing App because he was trying to bulk up for sports. I enrolled on 18 Jan 2024 & I have lost six pounds already! I had started using another well-known calorie counter but My Web Diary wins my vote - hands down. My favourite aspects of the App are the recipe function which allows me to enter my own recipes, and the fact that App will even calculate the new calorie count, if I modify the ingredients. I also love the water recording feature which reminds me to drink. I certainly did not have enough water intake previously & the water also keeps me full for a longer time between meals. I strongly recommend My Web Dairy to anyone who is interested in keeping track of one’s food intake - whether to lose or gain weight. I am seriously considering buying the Premium version when the next Flash Sale happens!.Version: 9.10

CloudI have now found out why I have a cloud aerial button unlike most other sites. Please everyone excuse my past review. That was in total lack of my knowledge of understanding how this all worked. As far as this app and the Pro Version they are very good apps. I would highly recommend them to anyone without any sort of diagnosis of diseases. If you have been diagnosed like I have I believe either of these apps would work great but only if you are doing side by side with a certified dietitian. That is where I went wrong again. Doing it by myself was a much to big of an under taking alone. A dietitian can assist in setting things up and get you on your merry way. I do plan to come back to using the Pro Version just as soon as my current dietitian is able to get things set up not for just one diagnosis but two and make sure that everyone plays with each other! Please take my advice and give these apps a thorough try out. You may be be very surprised at your results!.Version: 8.34

Accountability PlusI love this app! I’m 29 days in…. • It keeps me accountable • it makes me think about what I eat, and USED to eat. 🤪 • it has so many features, so is fun to use • I love the photo feature. Just looking back at the beginning is a great motivation • Love the tips and recipes Definitely worth the initial monetary outlay - it really has everything I need to help me stay on track and hopefully reach my goal. Now 39 days on and am going great. I really do love this app. It has become an easy part of my daily routine now and not only keeps me aware of food intake but also my movement through the day. Brilliant!!! AND DOWN 5 kg so far!!!!.Version: 9.7

Great AppI've used this app in conjugation with the website now for 3 months. You can't argue with the science; take in less energy than you use and you'll lose weight. I've averaged about a kg each week, which is the most it safely allows and it's proven flawless for me. Provided you are meticulous with inputting food and exercise accurately it will work. It could be more international and use more metric terms. It's a nuisance having to convert joules to calories but you get used to it. Keeping your contributed food and favourites is great as is synching with free web account. I've put five other people onto the app and it's working for all of them too. Overall it's a great app and web service. Well done..Version: 3.30

Amazing. Used for years.I’ve been using this app for about five years now and it’s the best thing I’ve ever downloaded. Keeps me in the know about what I’m eating throughout the day, has had really cool updates recently with great new features and has a database full of foods to choose create your meals from. My favourite feature is the create a meal feature where you can add in some of the usual components of meals you have often and create a shortcut to add a meal to your calorie count. Really good, love it. I don’t have premium as of yet but I’d love it one day..Version: 6.88

Diet coach and new best friend!I have found this app extremely helpful in setting goals of weight loss. The various hints coaching and tools provide a good education into the nutrient value of the calories you are consuming. I love the daily report and weekly report that breaks down your food choices. I highly recommend this app. At this point I’m only using the free version. The recipes in the paid version lookLike they give good variety..Version: 8.13

Great appLove the all features very easy to follow and it’s quite addictive too. When you about to pass your daily calorie budget it makes you to do more exercise so you can finish your sandwich without worrying. But only thing I can suggest that the logging some exercise as sets and reps instead of time. If there is a option I couldn’t find it yet, but if not I believe that would be more accurate calculation than the time logs. Everyone is different some ppl can do 5 sets in 15 minutes and some can do 3 sets in same time..Version: 8.82

Surprisingly goodI used to use a certain other popular app whenever I’d over indulged and needed to shed some weight but that app had become a mess. This one by comparison is incredible. It’s super focused on what it’s doing and does it in a very simple and strait forward fashion. All the information you need is well presented and laid out in a logical way. I’m so impressed that I payed for premium because I wanted to track my nutrients and get a more detailed report but this ain’t necessary as the free app does all the essentials you need. I’ve been using it for a week and I’ve already lost a stone in weight, it’s clearly marked my targets and I’m confident that by September I’ll be able to hit my target weight. I’d like to say great work and well done to the app developers and please don’t ruin this app by bloating it with unnecessary features or locking essential features behind a paywall..Version: 8.65

MsGreat app, simple to use and detailed, just make sure you enter all food data yourself if you want to be precise. Highly recommend this app!.Version: 4.0

Really helpfulThis app is really helpful if you want to keep track of what you're eating! Such a wide range of food options to help you find what you need. Sometimes when you scan a barcode of an item it comes up with a completely different item but it's something you have to work around. (Example- egg noodles scanned as raw garlic) You're able to put together your favourite meals and make them into a recipe! Only thing I'd like to see change in the free version is that we can edit our recipes because if you make a mistake then you end up having lots of the same recipe in your contents! But overall and good app to help you lose weight. I've been using it just over a week now and I've lost 4 pounds ☺️.Version: 5.45

Both free and premium are goodI think I’ve tried all the meal tracking apps- even some that don’t exist any longer. This is my Goldilocks app. I have a variable activity level from day-to-day and (with premium) I can just carry my iPhone with me al day and the tracker makes sure I’m on point for calories. Logging is faster than any other I’ve tried (and accurate). I like the menu planning. I haven’t figured out how to smoothly incorporate the grocery list. I like that I get a nutrition summary in my inbox with no effort on my part. It was easy to see that, yep, and multivitamin would be a good idea for me. I don’t use the preplanned menus. I am AIP/ lots of food intolerances so it doesn’t work for me. I also am not a snacker, so the existing menus are too fussy. I have grabbed recipes to log with several times. I haven’t cooked with any, but I haven’t seen anything that seems off. (I’m a “retired” chef). I don’t have a lot to lose- around 20 pounds- but I went ahead and paid for a year to keep me on track for maintenance. After that, I’m not sure. Some simple AIP or super basic no-fuss grain free (paleo?) menus would make it worth continuing the subscription. I appreciate the lack of ads and upselling (coming from a trial of a popular app “program”, it is a breath of fresh air)..Version: 8.71

I can’t believe such an exceptional diet app is free!!When my trainer gave me a diet to follow for my two month weight loss, it was so inconvenient to keep a pad and paper with me for tracking every individual calorie as well as making estimates on what I thought was in different servings of food. it was time consuming and impractical. With MyNetDiary I can scan a barcode super quickly, and it logs all the food for me, as well as giving a breakdown of my general macros as an added feature. Not only that, it saves the foods that I commonly eat at different meals, so I can simply select several at a time to log for that meals calculation. This feature is super convenient because obviously I’m going to be eating out of my refrigerator so I don’t have to scan barcodes every time and can just click the bubble next to the food and serving size that I typically use. I highly recommend for anybody who is interested in a snap shot, that gives you easy access to one look at your daily calorie consumption as well as what’s left in your budget and a easy to read pie chart of the macro breakdown. Enjoy!.Version: 8.79

Fantastic app! And I’m only on Day 2 …I’ve been looking for a good calorie / kilojoule app for SO long. Finally discovered it yesterday in this app. It’s so well organised, the tech is right up to date - I love that I can scan my food in (and really like the set out/ emojis of, eg: food like sushi 🍣 ☺️). I can also enter my exercise and see how I am tracking. I have a good deal of weight to lose but the app has set out how I can do it over the next 10 months. I bought the year deal - worth every cent! Thank you ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️😀.Version: 8.86

Love this AppI really needed to track my nutrients and this app does this and so much more! I get great advice on nutrition, I can import recipes or consult those offered by the app, I get timely reminders. I just love it!.Version: 9.10

ExcellentI’ve been using this app for years. I don’t know what happened to my other review but I love how it lets me calculate calories and exercise. It co-Insides with the health app on the iPhone. I use this all the time, I had to stop for awhile because I developed an eating disorder. Not because of the app just because of a dark time. Anyway most of the food comes up. If not I can type it in. With the calories etc. I won’t pay for it just yet but it’s very handy. It’s like my own personal pedometer..Version: 7.58

What a fabulous app!Never paid any attention to what I eat or how much. Now I’m older and my weight is creeping upwards I have decided to take control. Monitoring food intake has increased my interest, awareness and drive to ensure my diet is healthy. Exercise too and already the Lbs are falling away!! Its so easy to use too and best of all, ITS FREE!! May move on to premium should I need more input or information. Support group on Facebook is a bonus too. Highly, highly recommended this app!.Version: 8.19

Fantastic App - best one I’ve used for macrosExcellent app, perfect for tracking food intake, macros breakdown, activity. I love how it allows you to add all the ingredients into your own recipe or meal when making food/ meals at home from scratch, it also allows you to then measure by grams instead of serving which is so helpful. You can also customise your macros which is brilliant. Also if you are a diabetic you can track glucose in food etc ... so many different tracking variations..Version: 8.15

Love this app!Such a great app! Has helped me lose 5lbs in the first week just when I thought I tried everything. Must try it!!!! Wish it provided some recipes for free.Version: 9.8

Excellent appUsed a lot of food diaries and this is by far the best.Version: 5.45

Best Calorie App Out ThereI’ve never written a review, but this app is just too good. It can help so many people in sticking to their goals. I’m trying to gain some weight and so far, it has done a great job in making sure I go above the amount of calories needed. I have seen improvements in just less than a week even, after having this app for only 2 1/2weeks. And it can tell me when on the exact date I will hit my goal. This app has also given me a food plan specifically for me, and has been able to tell me what I may be eating too much of or too little of. For example, my foods have consisted of not as much protein and too much sodium. I am able to see what foods do that and try healthier meals of change up my meal plan. The app has a ton more than I just stated so definitely try this app and it could change your life. *Also, this is all without any subscription or premium offer, so definitely try it out*.Version: 8.58

My net diary.A very straight forward app for those who want to keep on top of their food and fitness regime, easily understandable with great hints and tips on how to get the most out of your nutrition and training. I've been using my net diary for a month now and have had good results at an achievable pace not too fast and not too slow so it's perfect for the beginner and professional individual. Excellent app and would recommend the upgrade straight away for the multi function options and syncing up with Fitbit..Version: 5.45

Great for keeping on track with weight lossI’m now in my early 40’s and have never dieted in my life. I decided to lose a few kilos but had no idea what to do as I love my food and I’m not keen on a restrictive diet to lose weight. My first day to diet was awful as I had no idea what to eat and ended up very “hangry” by 5pm. I found MyNetDiary and started to use it on day 2. It allows me to track my food, Water intake & exercise and I’ve created some great new healthy habits. I’ve lost 4kg in the first 2 weeks which I’m proud of..Version: 8.5

ExcellentExcellent app, really keeps you on track!.Version: 6.87

Love itThis is the best free app ever, I can do everything I ever wanted on it.Version: 9.1

Love ❤️I love this app, it works for me..maby it’s not for everybody..you can login your meals for the next day. Your steps, water intake..Version: 9.1

Excellent free appFantastic app to monitor calories in a day. I am amazed at how often i eat non nutrient foods. The app helps me choose the quality of the food i eat so as not to waste my calories in a day. Mindful eating at its best! Thanks.Version: 8.89

My Net DiaryBest app out there.Version: 7.99

Really simple to use appI just love it.Version: 9.7

I just love this app!I like that I don’t have to pay to use just the basic features which is perfect for me. I like that it gives you recipe ideas if it notices you skipped a meal. I love the way you can easily log or scan in foods and almost all seem to be there which a grade of how healthy the choice you made is...or most importantly- NOT! This helps me to actually learn the right portion sizes and make better decisions on what I’m actually putting in my body. Calories aren’t as important to me because I seem to always lack in that but the food choices I’ve been making or were eating are coming up C’s & D’s. With this app I now pick only A’s & B rated food choices! Maybe a C food choice like 1 chocolate chip cookie if I’ve been good!lol But in following this app you can monitor not only the food your eating but exercising, steps you’ve made, amount of water you should be drinking, etc. you can even choose a body system by joining groups but I prefer not to. I’ve been using this app since Jan 8th and I’ve already lost 6 lbs. I forgot to weigh myself the day I started so my starting weight was actually taken 6 days after starting this diet system. Anyway, love, love this app...super easy to use and it’s really nice keeping up and keeping track of what I’m actually putting in my body! Thanks!!! : ).Version: 8.49

Love but plz reverse change to Day ReportLove the app. It’s helped me lose 15 lbs so far, and bring my cholesterol down from 226 to 180 (October 2022 to October 2023). Love that it syncs with the iPhone health app, which pulls in data from my apple watch and smart scale. BUT… Used to rely on the Day Report, but with a recent update it’s much harder to use. The totals used to be at the top, so easy to see where I am during the day and adjust my calorie and nutrient intake, and/or take a supplement if I’m low (for example, for calcium). Now it’s at the bottom, so I keep having to glance up and down and up and down to figure out which column header is what, and it’s aggravating the heck out of me. It also used to show the number of calories left vs target by macro (fat, carbs, and protein), so I could adjust my eating by those exact numbers. But now it’s showing me % to target, which isn’t helpful with making eating decisions during the day. Now I’m guessing more and planning less, and my intake is not as exact as it was before the update. It’s much harder to use now, and make eating decisions on the fly. Love the app, and still using it, but put the Day Report back to the format it was before so I can use it properly on my phone again..Version: 9.3

Best I tried so farI tried a few calorie counting apps befor this, but those all had functions before that annoyed me. Eg can only put in food by serving size but not telling me how much is a serving size. This app has a wide variety of foods and multiple different measurements you can use on each one. I so far haven’t found a food that’s by serving size. It’s also very easy to use for me especially as I can put my weight in their. The exercise variety offered is also good. The only bad thing for me is two large eggs are rated C grade food but 8 dates are still A..Version: 8.77

This app is AMAZING!!!I am actually an app junky. When I'm looking for a particular app, I download a few of them simultaneously to compare which ones I like the best. I was using My Fitness Pal for years and did a premium trial which I was enjoying. The cost of their premium subscription really made me look at other apps. When I came across MyNetDiary it took me a few weeks to really go through the information because there's so much. I noticed a deal for the premium subscription so I thought I'd try it out. Since subscribing I have deleted my meal plan app, my grocery shopping app and my water tracking app. Because this app has it all! With this app I can customize pretty much everything - my macro nutrient percentages, water intake goals and alerts, micro nutrient goals, workout calories (connects to Apple watch) groceries list, diet specific recipes and Soo much more. The one thing that is a slight downside is the barcode scan doesn't have a very large database and many items I scan are not read. The upside to this is that you can manually add the nutrition information and pictures and upload them, therefore adding to the database. Customer support is very quick. I had an email reply within minutes. There is still a lot more information in the app that I haven't even looked into yet. I am overly happy with this app both as a free version and paid version..Version: 8.12

Good, even without payingI downloaded this months ago to help me with my weight gain journey, and to have a visual representation of how much I need to eat to keep myself healthy. The calorie count has really helped me to ensure I push myself to eat that little bit more and healthier so that I have enough to reach my weight gain goal, as I am currently underweight. Something that would be nice, however, not really necessary, is language changes for user trying to gain weight opposed lose it. Even though I have it logged that I’m trying to gain weight, I still get pop up and little note for weight loss advice..Version: 8.71
