✓ They may rob money off youI recently needed to pay for my deezer premium but as I didn't have the money when I needed it, I had an extra two days to pay which was good, but after the two days it didn't inform me that the payment had been authorised so I assumed I need to change the payment method and just enter the same details but it wouldn't confirm it for me so I assumed I couldn't use the details again so I went to cancel my deezer premium which it did allow but then because I didn't have any confirmation of my premium been payed for I went to check my account and my money had been taken out after I had cancelled the premium and instead of charging me £9.99 for 3months it's charged me £9.99 for just a month which I am extremely unhappy about.Version: 6.32.0
✓ I love Deezer but . . .I love Deezer and have had an active subscription for a number of years now. In the last update for some reason ( only known to Deezer ) they have removed the Car Play option. I could understand this on a free account but on a paid family subscription. ✓ Okay but...Love the new update and ease of access through the mini player. However, when I want to pause, the song playing doesn’t show up on my notification pull down screen or in my control centre where it normally does. Not sure why this is happening but this isn’t my only issue with the newer versions. Even in playlists with a lot more songs, it doesn’t play songs from the playlist which is the whole reason I made them in the first place. This also happens with other users’ playlists that I have added. Finally, the app frequently ‘resets’ mid-song, meaning when I am listening to my music, the song will stop and when I open the app it has returned to the white opening screen and I can’t resume my music. This is becoming a real problem and I would switch to another music player if it wasn’t so much trouble to transfer all my songs. Please try and fix this!.Version: 7.17.0
✓ Fix Chromecast Audio CompatibilityWhen streaming over Chromecast Audio, the app freezes. The music does continue to play new tunes, but the app still shows the first track. You have to manually close the app and restart and reconnect to be able to 1. see what is playing and 2. to skip the track playing. The Google Home controls do not freeze and you can manually fast forward to the end and this is how you can change the track on Deezer, but this is stupid way to interact: you can add music you hear to a playlist, you can go back or do anything other than manually slide your finger and change to the next track. And, it doesn’t even show the full name of the song. Fix the app. I have Hi-Fi subscription and consider canceling since I have been talking to Deezer support for 6 months now, but to no avail. They promised to fix the bug and keep breaking their promise!.Version: 6.37.1
✓ Freaking terrible appAs much as this app is stupidly organized with trying to get a family account, it has been good mostly when listening on an account that does have Deezer premium. But if you try to get any other subscription it is unimaginable to even try and down load it. Also, when it said on a special offer that there would BE 6 DIFFERENT ACCOUNTS THERE WAS ONLY 2!!!!!! If I could I would give this app a rating of -5. It is absolutely appalling the fact that my family has had heated arguments over this app. So far we have spent an hour just trying to make things work for us and it has been almost impossible to stop our selves from tearing out our hair. ✓ What is happening to Deezer recently?I’ve been listening to deezer and using it for a king time now but recently I’ve been trying to listen to my playlists and all I’ve been getting is other random songs that are not from sponsored artists and I’m sorry but I’m trying to listen to music I’ve liked and all I’ve been getting is music completely irrelevant to the music I like and this goes to other playlists from other people too. I’ve found myself testing this out on other people’s playlists and the same thing keeps happening the songs that are meant to be playing aren’t.think I might have to delete this app because there is no point of my listening to a made up playlist which I clearly didn’t pick :(.Version: 8.9.0
✓ Connection To In CarI’m really sorry to have to give you 2 stars as I wanted to provide you with so many more, however this is rating based purely on the functionality which you have with BMW. As a music app yeah it’s fine, music selection is adequate and does what it all other services do. However to stand out and be number one, then there needs to be the wow factor and for me, since I drive a lot not having the ability to use the the functionality on the steering wheel to change tracks or navigate the menus is criminal, since this can done via Apple Music. ✓ 50/50I used to have this app a while back and remember how good it was. How it let me download songs and pick the songs I wanted to listen too. I loved it and would always recommend it to my friends. Then an update said I had to have premium to all things I loved about the app. So I uninstalled it and tried searching for a new music app. Unfortunately no good apps let you use the “whole” app for free and I know it’s how the app makes its money but it’s just annoying how all the good things about the app cost money. And I’m not saying you should uninstall it! I actually reinstalled it because it lets you play offline and when you go onto different apps. But I just don’t like some features including the shuffle mode. I tap play my songs but after one of the songs I put in my playlist it goes onto a song that not even on there and says I can’t skip it! So I have to restart the app to get my songs back on. ✓ Library Good, technical not the greatest appI like deezer and all its offering, however the bug with wifi (telling you that you are offline and that you have to restart the app before it recognises that you are indeed online) is a bit of an annoyance. So this app needs technical fine tuning to run (iOS 11) smooth and faultless, guess this cant be too hard. There are some other issues with the app (slow response at times, not finding an artist at the first search, and so on) which dampen the user experience. ✓ Almost greatThe flow playlist and option to pick your mood is why I use this app. The quality of the music is great and the skips given are generous. What I don’t like is the watch functions. When I play music I should see what I would usually see on my lock screen but on my watch. What I get instead is a useless menu to tap on. Often if I pick flow on my watch then later pick up the flow on my phone both will be out if sync with the watch showing the previous song and the phone showing the current correct song. ✓ This app sucks and here’s why!I downloaded this app thinking I could stream some music for free. Sadly though, I soon found out that to do anything you had to get premium. ✓ Waste of time and money.This app seems to have 3 options for playing songs; 1 - Not at all. It just does nothing and you have to restart it 40 times before it agrees. 2 - 30 second bits. That’s it, just 30 seconds of the middle of a song before skipping to the next one. 3 - Barry Manilows “Mandy” upward of 6 times within a couple of hours. Despite no Barry being in my favourites. No songs like Mandy, and I just can’t get it to stop. No matter how many songs I add to favourites or search for or specifically try to play, my flow never changes. ✓ Good selection but poor interfaceLots of good music - using the Flow feature has allowed me to discover lots of new good tracks and bands Terribly lacking in offline features - it shouldn’t be that difficult to cache local playlist changes for upload when connection is re-established; but instead the whole app freezes and becomes useless until back online. This is the worst thing about the app. Queue management is also pretty poor - when I add a single track to the queue, I don’t want the whole album it’s on to be automatically added and have to go through deleting the tracks one by one! Would like the ability to download single tracks without having to add them to a playlist - although the ‘Favourites’ playlist is synced, it’s no use as an actual playlist because it has everything on it. ✓ Free trial but not on my bank accountI subscribe under the free trial with Deezer, I used the app for couple of days, I realised that is not for me, and I cancel my subscription. What is my surprise? I was charge from the day one. I contacted Deezer customer support, they told me that I have to deal this with Apple because I subscribed under iTunes and is beyond their control (how easy to put the problem on their partners). When I report to Apple, the answer was giving within a minute (looks like automatic) with this exactly words: "We've determinate that your purchase doesn't meet the conditions for a refund" During the last few years, I've been subscribing with different companies (movies, music, channels...) some of them I kept for months, some of them for years, some of them I just cancelled within the trial just because it was not I was looking for (like Deezer), but the only one that actually charged me on the trial is Deezer, and I read other feedback from people with the same problem, and not I am not getting refund because they said is not their problem but iTunes problem... well, this look like trying to get the money back is going to be a massive struggle and probably I will lose it anyway, so they can keep my money, but I hope that people on the same situation will report it..Version: 8.15.0

✓ Possibly a glitch?So, it’s a really good app! I had used it in the past and liked it but deleted it for some reason or another. Then I got a BRAND NEW IPhone 7 yesterday! Decided to get the app back. I download it and figure everything out. I have some music downloaded and then I go home as I was staying at my Nans place. I get home and I don’t have much music on it. Like 7 or 8 songs. I decide to try get some more, I search some in. It says that I can’t play the selected song. To retry. I do. Nothing. I’m confused. It’s obviously not my phone because it’s brand new, everything else works on here. It’s just this app. I now can ONLY play the songs I downloaded last night for some reason. ✓ Lacking basic featuresA few major annoyances that put Deezer levels below other streaming services. Firstly, there is no back button when on the lock screen or control centre, so you can’t go back to the last song - this is such a basic feature to be expected, I can’t believe any music app would miss this out! Secondly, there is no indication on which album is explicit or clean. Too many times I’ve accidentally downloaded clean versions which has been an annoying surprise, and in some cases there’s not even an explicit version available. Edit: your developer response is straight up wrong. I’m listening to my downloads and there’s no back button on the lock screen. One is classic song and the suggestion is Tiktok Hits, that's on the midnight. In the morning while driving I was listening Hanuman Chalisa, and different Mantras and Devotional songs, and guess the suggestion - Bollywood Dance Tracks !!! ✓ Dislike the new update 👎🏻I really like this app and think it’s one of the best music apps out there, however I have recently updated Deezer, and gone onto it hoping to listen to some music just to find that the majority (if not all) the songs have been blocked. Seeing as I use this app for free this is particularly irritating as I can’t physically type in a song of my choosing and listen to it anymore. I understood the concept that you couldn’t listen to music offline without premium, or that you couldn’t play any specific song you wanted on your playlist, even the usage of adds seemed reasonable, however not allowing us to search and listen to a song of our choosing is just too restricted. The only thing I can do now is add songs to my playlist (without even knowing what they sound like) and pressing shuffle . My playlist consists of a large number of tracks as I have had Deezer for a long time and have been continually adding songs, so pressing shuffle and getting a song I didn’t particularly want to listen to is thoroughly aggravating. ✓ Not very goodAnother update but no mention of sorting out any of the problems I have currently with this. Stupidly I paid for a year and so am locked in for a few more months. If you only listen on your phone via the app then I guess it is OK. However, it doesn’t work well with Alexa (I wasted a lot of time with customer service before they finally said ‘oh yea, this is a known bug’), it doesn’t work properly with Apple car play (the artist list is out of order for some reason) and the user interface is pretty poor. Whilst it works OK with Sonos it is no where near as slick as the main competitor. Also, sometimes when in the app I notice that some of the artist bios have reverted to French (Deezer is a French company). I can’t wait until my year subscription is up and then I will move to the main competitor which I believe is miles ahead..Version: 8.4.0

The new button on the app used to like or dislike the song is so unuseful! I listen to music a lot and used to skip and go previous song alot throughout the day using my headphones control's, either a wired one by using the inline controls or a Bluetooth headphone using its button controls, but after latest app updates this became not available anymore, you can only skip songs not go to previous tracks, it is so silly needing to open the app to get into the previous song while you have your phone locked! ✓ User experience lackingI wanted to like Deezer because they support lossless audio. Unfortunately, the user experience doesn’t measure up with competitors. There’s no desktop nor appletv app. There’s no cross device control. While the hifi quality is marginally better than competitors lossy compression, it’s not worth the poor user experience available with the competition and for cheaper. The ability to use voice control on HomePods is nice but doesn’t mean much if there’s not cross device control or some means of managing what’s playing. Hopefully Deezer can work on improving but for now it’s not for me..Version: 9.11.0
✓ Good quality musicI really rate the quality of music with Deezer. It’s pretty easy to use too. The only issue I have with it is that it’s a bit touch and go with Apple CarPlay. Some times it plays where it left off other times you need to renavigate the whole menu to what you want to listen to. ✓ Bugs and errorsI’ve been using Deezer for a few years now, and prefer it over other music apps. But lately, there seems to be lots of “broken” tracks where the content has error loading. I was trying to listen to LiSA but there were all sorts of different artists in a playlist for one of her album’s playlist that are only supposed to have HER songs. Not some other artists songs. The ads, app design and audio quality were the only things that were actually good about his app. AND when you want to listen to that certain song, and you don’t have enough “skips” then you simply can’t listen to it! You either listen to some song you’ve never heard before, or you listen to nothing. You need “premium” to listen to it. I know the app needs money, but it’s simply not very practical. ✓ Things that are irrelevantIt’s a very great app, user friendly and financially reasonable. I’ve used it for a very long time and always up to date. My complaint is about the “song not available in my country feature”. Certain music I downloaded a while back has just been taken away for no reason. I find that feature absolutely useless and inconvenient looking at the money us deezer users pay. Obviously we use it world wide and it only supports first world countries which is unfair so it would be nice if you could remove that irrelevant feature. ✓ Deezer is great but have some issues that I want to be fixedI have been enjoying this app since I downloaded it! This app is amazing and I can still listen to music even when my phone closes!! Although this app is really good, there has been some problems lately like when I click on the song I listen, it goes to a different song. For example let say I want to listen to Electricity it automatically changes to like Rewrite the stars and it happens to every single music I have in my playlists. I find it really annoying when that happens and I hope to get it fix soon! It plays it in shuffle mode and the only way to not play in shuffle mode is if I buy premium! ✓ Very good other than promised skipsFor the most part I love Deezer. It works very well. The only minor thing is I wish you could just download single songs instead of whole albums. My major complaint that bugs me is when your paying it says unlimited skips. Well the skips freeze and that gets me very frustrated. If that’s a tech prob it needs to get fixed. Don’t offer somn when ppl are paying and then not have it. As a long time free user I thought I would go ahead and sign up for premium because the service is good. When I want to listen to the songs that I CHOSE to listen to, I have to listen to a bunch of other songs which, chances are, I won’t like and that are “similar” to the songs in my playlist. ✓ Good but not that goodDeezer is a all around good app to have. It has every song I’ve wanted to listen to and the songs are very clear and are very good. Although the app is good there are a few minor faults that I wish were easily fixable. When I first downloaded Deezer I had the freedom to listen to whatever I pleased whenever and wherever I please with or without WiFi then all of a sudden BAM, and everything had to be played by shuffle mode and the only way to get my freedom back was to pay for premium, which I understand is how Deezer makes money. But because of this so called premium update Deezer has been messing up for me a lot lately for example; I play a song on my playlist and it will be alright then the second song it goes on isn’t even in my library. Majority of the time I don’t even know the songs it plays so I always have to reset Deezer to play a song from my playlist but it keeps on happening. When I’m out and about the songs will also suddenly stop wether my data is on or not and it will take me a long time to get it working again. ✓ Great but CarPlay issues lose a starI have used Deezer now for a year or so. Using it with my Sonos speaker results is high bitrate music that is superior to the other music streaming options. Where I am having problems, which have only started in the last few months, is with CarPlay. Because of these issues I am having to fuss with the CarPlay app which isn’t good when you are in the car. I will list them below and hopefully they can be addressed in a future update: 1) Upon connecting the phone and loading up the CarPlay Deezer app it takes a long time to load albums or playlists, sometimes I have to back out of the app or reload it a few times to get the songs to show. This is in good signal areas or even still connected to my home WiFi in the driveway. 2) When selecting a song from an album list or playlist, sometimes it will revert to the first song in the list and I have to manually skip through the tracks to get it to play the one I wanted. I am home full time and like to stream my music to my TV or other player. When it finishes playing my selected album, it starts playing other, random music from the same or similar artists. Even if I set the album to repeat, it STILL plays other music and albums. I want it to stop playing all together over choosing music for me. If I want a radio station inspired by a specific artist, I’ll use Pandora. Because I am currently using a variety of players right now, I’ve also noticed Deezer is less intuitive than other platforms at finding music based on my search credentials. For example, if I want to listen to Christmas music from a certain artist, it will only bring up albums that specifically have “Christmas” in the album title, not all of their holiday music. Just today I wanted to listen to an album called “Christmastime” by Michael W Smith. Favorite, then download that song, and be able to listen to that song. They have an ingenious way of tempting you into subscribing, the more tracks you like, the more you interact with the app, the more limitations they impose. So if you never "like" any tacks, then you will have more possibilities (like playing individual tracks you search for) than if you appear to be an infrequent user. So just listen to tracks but don't create playlists or "like" anything and you should be fine. As soon as you do you'll see more restrictions appears during use. It's a shame that a multimillion dollar company can't find a more intelligent way to increase subscriptions other than this frustrating psychological approach that badgers users into subscribing by progressively taking away privileges rather than increasing them as you pay. This will result in them eventually closing, which I'm surprised hasn't happened already; they are probably gunning to be bought by a larger company so investors can see a return.Version: 7.4.0
