✓ Accurate ForecastingI have used the various versions of this app for several years. Forecasting is almost always more accurate than the UK's Met. Office forecast. Only things preventing 5 stars is that in day view, the weather is shown in 3 hour sections and sunshine minutes are given for the total 3 hours so you have yo divide the number by 3 to get how much sun you will see per hour - it should just give a minutes per hour figure, and secondly you cannot zoom the screen and the font is very small and hard to read.Version: 4.8.6

✓ OutstandingI first bought this app when I saw a review by a helicopter pilot based in London who said it was more accurate than the official forecasts he gets as a pilot. He said he relied on it when flying and that was good enough for me. I've been using it for several years now and I can't fault it. The more upmarket version gives a 14 day forecast and can show current cloud movements, the position of lightning and rain (in different screens) and so much more. Whilst not much of the functionality has been changed over the years - why break something that works so well - all the weather info you need is right here and it has one ofthe best radar maps I’ve come across in any weather app. It did misfire just before the new year and I filed a support ticket. I received an acknowledgment of the problem and an update as the support team fixed the issues. Back to normal now and well worth the relatively small cost of subscribing to the pro version..Version: 4.9.6

✓ Rainfall Display Needs FixingI've used this app for several years. Apart from the forecasts, which are adequate, I use the radar map to show me when to expect rain in this damp part of the UK! Unfortunately this functionality has deteriorated over the past several months. When I select the rainfall radar I almost always get the ‘waiting’ indicator, and the display doesn’t display the rainfall for several minutes. I reported this some time ago and was told it was a known problem and would be fixed. However there hasn’t been an update for 8 months so, developers, when will it be fixed? This is not a free app - I pay a subscription for this service!.Version: 4.9.3
✓ My favorite weather appThis app has almost every feature/information possible for weather around the world. iPhone and iPad interfaces are different but complementary. (The only reason for 4 as opposed to 5 stars is that radar information doesn't center screen on location but nation. So if you live in the south of Sweden, radar still centers on Stockholm, say, rather than your location, so all the rain south of Sweden doesn't show up...) ✓ Really useful weather appI've been using this app for five years as enhancement to the commercial meteorological information provided for our flight planning at work (as an airline pilot) and it is useful and reliable. To be able to see up to date dynamic lightning strike info and precipitation radar is a great help. I wish it had greater world coverage with radar/precipitation dynamic display-at the moment it only really covers Europe. For local weather planning for activities it is of great benefit-we camp a fair bit and it has made a big difference with booking and planning in the last ten days prior to a trip. The graphical display is clear and the quality of the information is good-of course, like all weather forecasting it can vary in difficult forecasting scenarios, however I have found it is the best available-especially compared to the phone supplied apps. ✓ About as good as looking out the windowLike every other weather forecast for the UK this app is no better or worse. I think the issue is they have forgotten what “forecast” means. Just look at a forecast for an area five days in advance and watch how much it changes as you approach the day in question. You will see it radically change over the period until the night before, if you are lucky, it may just about reflect reality. Even then I’m seeing it change on the actual day! So in reality, no one can yet provide a stable forecast beyond 24 hours, if that. So you may as well look out the window..Version: 4.8.8

The basic functionality is all I use although I am"met trained" and would like to see the weather maps and model predictions as it would allow personal analysis of the data and a better personal forecast. I can't compare with other weather apps as I don't use others, which might be considered a recommendation. I can use mph on the iPhone app but not the Watch. Sticking with the fantastic Watch app, it would be nice whilst on the precipitation screen that rotating the Digital Crown one could view the rain forecast animation forecast just as on the iPhone. I don’t do subscription apps but I make an exception for this one to view the rain radar forecast. STILL THE BEST WEATHER APP EVER! __________________________________________ After all these years it's still way ahead of the game. If you want to know exactly when the rain will start and end just look at the radar. ✓ Radar stopped workingThis is a great weather app which I’ve had for many years and it’s worked really well. However, recently the radar and satellite views have stopped working - in the last week or so. It just shows a blank screen on the radar and won’t let you toggle to the satellite image. I’ve recently updated to iOS 17.2.1 - not sure if the timing was linked to this update. Would be great if you could fix this bug, otherwise will probably delete and find an app which works. You can check the regular weather updates or use the radar function which I always use to plot the weather and get outdoor jobs done in windows of no rain. ✓ Now blue screen no radar at all !!!!!!I really like WeatherPro app have been using it for years, but recently quite a few issues have arisen. Recently the weather for my area was showing in the low 30s yet. It’s winter here and it would not update that has now been fixed. however, an even bigger problem is the radar which I use regularly and the cloud cover satellite gets stuck from a couple of days ago. it can then start working again and then get stuck again. I’ve deleted the app completely reinstalled it. I also reset my phone but all of these did not fix it. I think there’s a problem with the app. I’m not sure if anyone else has experiencing this. speak to someone. I know who also installed xthe app couple years ago at my recommendation and they have had the same problem. please can you let me know and anyone else who is experiencing the same issues when this will be fixed.
