TripView for Positive User Reviews

I use this multiple times a dayThis is the BEST Sydney train timetable app out there. It is rock solid, highly reliable and the updates on trackworks and alternatives is fantastic. Well worth every penny..Version: 4.4

The app I HAD to buy...Full disclosure. I’m cheap, I take forever to make a purchase decision, and buyer’s remorse follows me around like a cheap suit (a perfectly good reason for buyer’s remorse). Why mention any of that? Because It took only half of my first trip with TripView for me to know I HAD to buy it. In under 10 minutes it had spoken to me in a way that’s exceedingly rare. If there’s another app that is so perfectly formed, so easy to use, so cleverly integrated across all my devices, and so packed with features: I haven’t found it yet. I don’t leave home without TripView and, from what I see on platforms and In carriages, a heap of fellow travellers feel the same. It’s justifiably a go-to app for people on the go. TripView Is just the bee’s knee’s in ease-of-use and value for money. If you spend any time on trains, buses, ferries or any other scheduled public transport in Melbourne or Sydney, this is the app you need..Version: 5.8.7

Folders!I think this is a great, very helpful app. One idea I think would improve the usability would be folders. Then you can organize your trips based on the area E.G Inner City - so then you can have all your trips pertaining to that area in one place such as Home to Central, Bus to Broadway, Townhall to Museum, etc! I find I have too many trips and rather than scroll to find one of my saved trips I end up creating the trip again because it’s faster. I think having folders to organize your trips would improve the usability!.Version: 5.8.0

PerfectExcellent app to travel in Sydney.Version: 4.1.1

Tripview Unable to Update AppTransport NSW have introduced “Peak” and “Off Peak” traffic flow along Military Road Cremorne. During “Peak” time they have moved the bus stop approximately 500 metres away from the regular bus stop which now only operates in “ Off Peak” times. On the Tripview App it now shows that the next bus to arrive at Cremorne bus stop will now be in 2 hours which is incorrect. Please contact Transport NSW and adjust this error!!! What’s the point of having this app showing a bus from Cremorne to Chatswood will be arriving in 2 hours- totally wrong. Please adjust. Thank you. Judy.Version: 5.7.2

The app’s great but it’s got a bugI have went through today seeing if whether or not I’ll be able to get to where I have to be via this app. Well unfortunately I went through a rollercoaster just to get to where I have to be. I found out that the times were frozen, maps being out of place and inaccurate, and the worst of all putting actual inaccurate schedule times where I have to hop on from one train to another. I hope you fix this problem because it didn’t happen to me before today even started..Version: 5.6.3

Love it !! however...Love everything about this app and how easy it is to use. However, I was wondering if it was possible to add a labelling feature onto the trips? I have a long list of trips saved and I use a lot of them quite frequently, and it’s quite easy to struggle finding the trip route that I’m looking for. If a labelling feature was added to this app (eg. “work to home bus”), I think it would make it a lot easier to find what you’re looking for. Also, another potential feature could be to make the option of changing the order of the trips or to put a ‘favourites’ section. Just thought I’d share my ideas, I hope you guys will consider them!.Version: 5.6.4

Great serviceI think this app is very useful for commuters and has made public transport more useful in that people can plan and know what services can get them to where they need to go, while estimating travel time. I think planning a route that uses buses can be a little difficult in that unless you know the locations and their names it can be confusing to locate the correct stop especially if bus stops are not clearly market. Otherwise a fantastic application that supports the community, and the public transport services..Version: 5.8.8

Great when real time availableGreat when working , but Murphy's law dictates that when absolutely required "real time not available" 261 northwood to city not updating.Version: 5.3

Love this app!Have been using the full app for prob 7+ years & love it.. happily recommend to anyone...Version: 5.7.3

Absolutely brilliant!Well worth the cash. Very accurate, I use this all the time. Great way to find the fastest way home (even tells you which platform to go to). If you are unsure, give the lite version a try, you won't be disapointed!.Version: 2.6

A great AppSo helpful and easy to use many thanks.Version: 5.4.3

BrilliantEasy to use, easy to create new trips and so comprehensive. A truly great app.Version: 5.9.3

A must have app using public transport in SydneyTripView is the most accurate timetable for trains and busses. Needless to say, it's very useful. My only complaint is that I wish the app was a bit more intuitive on your location. Sometimes in an unfamiliar area it's hard to know what street you're on, or there's no sign, so you don't know which 'stop' to choose for a route. Just wish there was a 'you are here' map service function within the app. It's still the best though!.Version: 5.2.9

Useful thoughSometimes the timetable is not very accurate for some buses, eg M41 on weekend. Very useful if u want to go to places you are not familiar with. Use it with GPS so u will never get lost and u know where u should press the bell or get off. Good job! I need different colors to indicate different routes! Plzzzz consider that.Version: 3.4

TimetableHi we are a 75 year old couple and throughly enjoy the TripView busses, Trains and light rail timetable on our IPhone. We find we don’t have to go early and wait on the bad weather when we can look up the timetable on the iPhone as well I have been deaf all my life and do not have to ask someone to phone the timetables on the day. As well I follow on the adjoining map where the bus is or has gone Congratulations on this fantastic system if I think of anything that you can improve the system I would let you know but at the moment we are happy with what there is on the system thank you Michael Strachan ( Ashfield) NSW.Version: 5.6.8

The bestIf you live in Sydney, you already own this app. If you don’t, you should..Version: 5.8.5

Awesome appI just moved to Sydney from the States. I live in the city and don’t own a car so I take public transportation for everything. This app makes it so easy to figure out how to move around without the hassle of trying to read the maps..Version: 5.6

Very good travel appThis is one of best transit apps I've ever used. Very easy to navigate, accurate listings, and the ability to choose stations based on the transit map - all extremely useful features for tourists and locals alike..Version: 3.4

Cancelled train - App failed to notify anyone10:04 train cancelled and even station staff didn’t know. On the App it says it’ll leave from platform 4 instead of 5 but only a Leppington train left from platform 4, The App says the train is on time at Beralla but it didn’t turn up. So frustrated as I’m now late for work.!!! And going to Bankstown via Lidcombe should have been 10 minutes earlier than via Cabramatta. Which it would have been if the 10:04 wasn’t cancelled..Version: 5.7.3

LifesaverI live on public transport and rely on it being efficient. ANYONE using Google or Apple maps to get around Sydney, please stop and just download this app! Learn to use this app in tandem with maps and you will never miss a bus, train or ferry ever again. Don’t be put off by the price tag, it’ll be the best 5 bucks you’ve ever spent and it’ll save you 100s of bucks in uber fares. A lovely couple recommended this app to me and I’m forever grateful they did!.Version: 5.8.7

AmazingBest public transport app I ever used!!.Version: 4.0.1

Been using this app for years, it great but...How about storing my trips on the cloud so they can synchronize between iPhone, iPad, and watch?.Version: 5.6.5

Need to keep ahead of the packUnfortunately one of the main attractions of TripView is the GPS functionality. Unfortunately far too many buses don’t have GPS working for whatever reason. This is very frustrating and limits the usefulness of an otherwise good product. Another limitation is the ability to SORT or in some way FIND logged trips (I have over 200 logged). I have three or four copies of some trips because I can't find the trip when I need it. I would gladly pay more to find some of my logged trips. Great product that can be even better..Version: 5.7.3

New version has an awful bugRegretting updating to the latest version - previously this was so reliable and showed each bus as it passed my stop, with an indicator of whether it was late or early. Now it's showing them in my trip list as the time they're SCHEDULED to hit my stop, but without indicating whether they have or not - meaning that I have to click into that bus to see where it's tracking in real time. As Sydney buses are notoriously unreliable, you can see where this is headed. Of the five buses "next in line" on my timetable, four have actually already passed and are three stops up the road. Makes using the app very frustrating, and I would love if it reverted to the previous style, when real time tracking determined the order in which buses appeared. (Formerly I would have given this five stars, it's actually the one app I recommend to everyone, as it's been indispensable these past 4 years. This new "functionality", if that's what it is, has turned what I considered an exceptional app into a very average one, no better than the fixed timetables at each stop; basically, I'm turning up and hoping for the best.).Version: 5.4.5

Extremely UsefulI downloaded this on a recent trip to Sydney, after trying the free version first. This application is well worth the price. Great idea, and well executed. I used this app several times per day. I even used it to help locals find the right bus on a couple of occasions. My only gripe is that it doesn't support automatic routing where you can change to a different line or bus route. Overall, I would recommend this app for anyone who uses public transport in Sydney..Version: 0

Fantastic must have app!So good and so easy. If you ever use public transport in Sydney, you must have this!.Version: 3.7

When Switched OffUsually TripView works well, unless there is a “malfunction” at the driver’s end. I think that something it is switched off for a while? If this is the case, when one checks the times it won’t provide an update. Sometimes the stated time will show up, but it doesn’t allow passengers to track the bus. Then, out of the blue, the bus WILL turn up when it hasn’t shown up on the app. I hope this explains the situation, which can be very frustrating, especially if one has decided to go to a different bus stop etc. Thank you..Version: 6.0.1

Makes bus and trains usableI *could* use google maps. But this app truly excels in point to point trips. i.e. this station to this station without transfers, which is what I use it for. The "bookmarks" help greatly for this. I use in Newcastle and Sydney. For transfers, I supplement with google maps..Version: 4.2.5

Great appVery helpful app I would recommend being able to select requirements though. For example if I wanted to go from Redfern station to town hall and I have a pram with me is works be useful if it only showed me trains departing from the platform with the lift The reverse would be even more helpful though. On the main page I can see what platform a train departs from but I can’t see what platform it will arrive at unless u click into it I’m sure this would also be very useful for anyone with mobility issues.Version: 5.8.7

Should have an option to add a home “station”Great app, everything works well and is convenient. However there should be an option to add a home station or bus stop etc. This way if I am searching for a station, my “home” station will always be at the top of the list, as this would be the most common station I’ll be travelling to/ from. This will save a lot of time. The same could be done for buses and other form of transport. I’m surprised that a simple addition to an app that has been around for this long hasn’t been included..Version: 5.6.3

Great transport appFinally! A great app for Sydney transport!.Version: 3.6.1

IndispensableI find this app indispensable. It is really user friendly, the options allowing trips to be determined from the known to the unknown WHS father by route, stop or suburb. Where there are train station platform/line changes can be less straight forward and ideally where multiple forms of transport are required you would be able to split screen or something so you could more easily time swap-overs. It would also be good if it had an intelligent capability so if there were multiple routes from start point to end point it could show these plus shortest time/recommended route; also it would be good if it could calculate relative trip costs between alternative routes that would be useful..Version: 5.7.3

Good, just needs a couple of tweaksThe best app for NSW public transport. It just needs a couple more features: you have to know before you start what mode of transport you will use (bus versus train etc), ans sometimes you don't; it doesn't give options, so if you want to change trains at a different station to the one it chooses (somewhat arbitrarily) it's a LOT of hassle to look up all the sectors and check out if the trains connect ok. I'd happily give it 5 stars if it did those things. I bought the paid version so i can store my trips - def worth it..Version: 5.2.8

Nice interfaceI really like the way you can get the times so easily, but I do find it time-consuming to find the schedules. It's hard to go through the bus numbers..Version: 5.2.7

App of the DecadeUpdate: several years later and I still use this app daily. It's the reason to own an iOS device in Sydney. This is seriously the most practical and useful app I own, and it works great. OP: If you live in or are traveling to Sydney, this is a must have application. I'm surprised that the developer hasn't adapted it other cities as well. It's seriously amazing..Version: 4.0.1

Very well thought outConvenient and easy to use. Excellent design..Version: 0

My go to app for train travelI’m on the paid version after using the free version. I have not regretted getting onto the paid version. Does everything I expect of it. It’s always accurate with timetable, and it updates any delays etc in real time. Watching your train move on the city rail map is pretty cool too. I was trying to think of an improvement, but I actually can’t think of one and feel this is a pretty solid app, so 5 stars from me..Version: 5.7.3

Navigate with Ease - TripView AppTripView has become my go-to travel app, thanks to its user-friendly interface and real-time public transport updates. It's perfect for planning trips, staying informed about delays, and saving your favorite routes for easy access. With both online and offline functionality, TripView is a must-have for daily commuters and tourists alike. Don't leave home without this efficient travel companion!.Version: 5.9.6

Absolutely brilliant- now please add brisbaneI loved this app. It has everything you need and is so user friendly. Used it when I lived in Sydney and then moved to Melbourne. Thought the world ended when I couldn’t use this app anymore. The developer than added Melbourne. Amazing. Sadly I’m now in Brisbane. Any possibility to add the Brisbane transit system? I have the fully paid version and I can’t use it anymore. Crying camel tears!!! 4 stars only because it’s super amazing but has no brisbane..Version: 5.9.4

Brilliant!I have used this app on and off for years. Having returned to Sydney recently for a three month stint of work without a car, I found myself totally reliant on public transport. This app has seriously made my life a lot easier. Buy it!.Version: 4.1

FATHERS RIGHTSSeems like they’re Null in void The land of the lucky,AUSTRALIA! Where kids still can get taken from parents but it seems only pretty much fathers i know there is a small amount of woman to but nothing like guys false allegations it’s a joke ! Wake up Australia and the rest of the world and don’t paint everyone with the same brush! Just an ideaI don’t think I could live in Sydney without this app. It’s very well done and reliable. I’ve always thought though it would be nice to have an option where you could group certain trips into folders eg “work” or “Monday” so that instead of scrolling through all my different trips I’m able to go “oh todays Tuesday let me look up my Tuesday travel stuff” or “oh I wanna go around to my favourite vegan stores in the cbd, lucky I have a folder of all that info, so going from my home to the city to Glebe and Newtown is a breeze” Just an idea.Version: 5.8.7

Error on T2 lineThis app is probably my most used app - little disappointed though. The last few connecting trips have listed stations that the train DOES NOT stop at which has made life super difficult and I’ve ended up catching 3 or 4 trains when I could’ve just done 2. This is specifically on the T2 line. Thanks This could very well be city rail and not you guys! I have hopped on a train that is supposed to stop at Croydon (according to TripView) but hasn’t. After the first time this happened, the second time I checked the display on the station and the app and they did not match (double checked platform numbers too). Another time this occurred when I was at Strathfield and TripView said that the train coming would stop at Croydon (checked all details, platform no., etc.). This was not the case also according to the display on the platform (no train from here stopped At Croydon) so had to jump off at another station and wait for a service that would stop at this stop..Version: 5.4.2

Best app everThe amount of time this app has saved me is countless. So awesome. Best app I’ve ever used..Version: 5.6

Nearly perfectThis is the most useful app on my iPod Touch. It works offline, and will also work through multiple stops (including busses, trains and ferries) and includes accounting for missing the closest connection at that given stop on the way. It only has one downside and that's the map access. Updating the city/stop map when offline (as is the case of the iPod Touch when on foot) is extremely limited. If it had its own build in map of the Sydney area, it would be absolutely perfect. But as it is it is definitely worth the purchase..Version: 3.2

Everything you needAs a new arrival in Sydney I needed an app to help me navigate the public transport system here. After trying many I have always come back to TripView Sydney. I use it daily to find the best connections. It is very user friendly and the Developer(s) are doing a great job in keeping it up to date. If you are new to Sydney or just visiting then I would very strongly recommend you get this app. They have a lite one to try but I am sure you will very quickly realise that the full version is the way to go and IMO it is a vey small price to pay for such an excellent app..Version: 2.8

All time great appOne of the classics. Just a great design..Version: 5.9.8

FantasticPerfectly done..Version: 0

It’s 2019: why account based systems are better then nothingTying my backups to icloud so when i setup an iphone like a new one i lose all my previously existing trips. good work, very 2012, much appreciated Edit: so, in my haste, i may of been a bit too on the nose (even for my liking) with my initial review. The app has always been a staple in my collection of ‘invaluable iPhone apps i can’t live without’ but man, being unable to restore trips on a clean install of iOS unless i restore my phone from a backup is plain strange. i appreciate the response TripView devs, however i don’t use dropbox nor do i intend to. Now, if you added OneDrive or Google Drive support alongside Dropbox, now i’d say we’re cooking with fire. :).Version: 5.7.2

Great app - almostTripView is a great app, user friendly and up to date, however there are a few mods that would be good: - would be good to display how long each trip takes, so that it is easier to compare different trips (I find myself manually calculating these) - while there is a setting to not auto load all trips for the watch app, it still seems to search all trips because it is very slow to load the watch app if there are a lot of trips defined on the phone. The watch app needs to be quick above all else. - doesn’t handle mixed mode trips (bus and train for example).Version: 5.2.9

Fantastic app - Using this for yearsI have been reliant on TripView for many years - It’s quick, accurate and the most efficient way to see public transport options in Sydney (haven’t tried outside of this city). I initially started with TripView Lite but upgraded to get rid of ads as I used the app near daily. The only thing this app doesn’t do is help figure out public transport options for a multi-leg journey (eg. How to get from point A to point B using the quickest combination of transport options). Perhaps a future upgrade could offer this? In the interim, Google Maps and NSW Trip Planner offer this, but I find that both tend to ignore providing ferry options and focus on bus/train only (even when Ferry is selected and I know it is one of the easiest routes)..Version: 5.7.3

In constant use! With track work, delays, being late out of work, caught the wrong train! etc, TripView Sydney has saved me so many times! Rather than fighting to check time tables, I can check what train is next on the way to the station, when it's due out and what time it's due at my destination. It’s easy to use and updated regularly when time tables are changed. Please bear in mind, it is not an official time table for either of the services, but it's accuracy I have found second to none! Thank you Tripview..Version: 5.7.3

Brilliant App ( potential new feature? )I really love this app and it’s heaps convenient for transport in both Sydney and Melbourne. I have noticed that there is no feature to clearly distinguish between the standard Sydney Trains that accept Opal and the NSW TrainLink Regional Trains & Coaches which require you to book your ticket before you travel. I see an opportunity here for some sort of icon or service information alert to be introduced to the app that will identify whether the service requires a booking or whether you can use an Opal card. I have previously had an experience where I planned a trip to Bowral and it wasn’t until I showed up to Central Station to get on the train that I found out that it was a booking only service. There was nothing on the app to suggest that this service was different from any other and I was very fortunate that the crew found a spare seat last minute and I was allowed to purchase a ticket on the train. This is why I believe it is necessary to introduce this new feature. Kindest Regards, Emma.Version: 5.6.8

Simple and accurateExcellent little app. Use it daily. Quick and easy to look up trains. Recommended to everyone using trains in Sydney..Version: 3.1

A great transport appHave been using it for quite a few years now including an earlier version. It is integral to my transport plans everyday in Sydney. It is very flexible and the integration of all modes of public transport allows me to explore a public transport option if there is one every time rather use my car. How could it be improved? I haven’t thought long enough about that but nothing jumps at me at present. Could you add a section relating to car parking at public transport sites. Like park and ride? Thanks for a great app.Version: 5.6.5

No 1 for public NSW public transportThis app is the best out there for real-time network information and the user interface is really nice to use. Would like to see the following change in the Watch app where we can look at past trips. At least a few hours back. If I am on a long train ride and want to see what time I stop at a certain station I can’t. It only displays the next available train from my trip origin. Therefore, I have dig my phone out and scroll back in time. Would love this to be available straight from the Apple Watch app..Version: 5.4.1

Awesome applicationProbably the most useful app on my iPhone, hence sits on my home screen. Always spot on, and makes it really easy to work out timings of next buses and ferries in and out of work. Highly recommend..Version: 2.8

Best transit app I’ve usedBest transit app I’ve used. Very simple and clean. I used it extensively in Sydney from 2012-2014 but have since moved away. Wish there was a transit app anywhere near as good for other cities..Version: 4.7.1

No longer accurate in bus trackingI used to love this app but over the past 6 months or so it has become more and more inaccurate. Many times I’ve been standing at the bus stop and the app says a bus is coming in 3 minutes, 2 minutes and then all of a sudden it says 1 minute ago without the bus having been along. I just now stood at traffic lights and watched my bus pull in across the road while the app said the next one was in 8 minutes..Version: 5.7.2

It works, nuff saidBeen using this app for a few years now, hasn’t let me down once (though the ui scrolling can be a little annoying when you have a lot of routes saved) my only suggestion, if it hasn’t been implemented already in a patch, the ability to add stars to bookmark favorite or frequently travelled routes, particularly those prone to track work (North shore line I’m looking at you!) otherwise 5 stars.Version: 5.7.3

Excellent, amazingly helpfulThe only thing that I wish was different is the availability of platform numbers..Version: 0

Convienient and InformativeA fantastic app for someone who’s constantly using public transport. It updates with delays and incidents as they happen and gives you the option of other linking services if your regular service is cancelled or rerouted for whatever reason. It would be nice if you could turn on notifications for when your regular service has a delay or cancellation so I don’t have to constantly check the app just in case. My only real complaint is that I’ve had issues accessing the 887 timetable from my selected destinations as it says there are no services when they are available to use and are for view on the TripView website. Please fix this. Otherwise a brilliant app!.Version: 5.4.3

Best purchase I’ve ever made on this storeFor anyone in Melbourne/Sydney who takes public transport, this app is a godsend. Real-time info is accurate, service disruptions are included and even platform numbers for complete convenience. Light years ahead of the PTV app, plus Apple Watch support too. The app doesn’t have iCloud sync (Dropbox sync included though), it doesn’t have a watch complication and the service disruptions could have a little more info, but these are minor complaints for an app with such fantastic utility. Could not recommend enough..Version: 5.6.1

A great app - keeps getting better & betterThis is a must have app for commuters & travellers in Sydney. It's well designed, has lots of well thought out features and the attention to detail is terrific. The new version has train platform numbers now - thank you so much! I now know which platform to dash to. And the service interruption alerts are great too. It would be ambitious but including all private ferry & bus network timetables would make this a 10-star app! It's shameful that the state transit authorities didn't develop something like this first but kudos to the developer for filling the gap..Version: 0

Finally sync! The best of the transport apps finally closed the loop on the last great missing feature! You can now sync trips across devices. Thanks!.Version: 4.9

TrackerU run for a train yeh it’s late it’s not at the platform sprint and it’s gone tracker says it’s not even at the station, same with the buses u run and it’s 100 metres already down the road, then when the trains delayed by 30 minutes because a mechanical problem it will say it’s 28 minutes late left central and then it still hasn’t moved but the app says it’s left the station, i have been on the trains for 15 years and i’m 23, when it’s delayed or lightning your stuffed or saturday track work, the app can be terrible if your in a rush and then u have to trust the tracker your in trouble, u have to always give yourself an extra 2 minutes but u may not have that time because connecting services or your sprinting from work.Version: 5.8.8

Simply Superb! For me, this is THE most useful app on my iPhone. I rely on public transport to go wherever I need, & it is just so incredibly useful to be able to quickly check when I have to get to the bus stop or train station to catch my bus or train. The bus route map is also incredibly useful : no more asking around if bus 123 will go to Parramatta or not. Personally, I would have been happy to pay even $100 for the app, and at $3 it's an absolute bargain..Version: 3.4

Saved TripsI’ve been a very satisfied customer for years now. I started with the Lite app and than upgraded to the full one. I would just love the the option to not save every trip. Like if I just want to check what time the train is due or how far the bus is away it is annoying that you can only save it. I want to be able to look at a trip without saving it. I ended up with lots of trips I’ll never use again. I have resorted to keeping the lite on my phone when I just want to look and not have to save a trip.Version: 5.8.0

Put a search bar pleaseHi , l really enjoy using your app . It would be more convenient if you can include a search bar. So that we can search frequently used routes . Instead of looking for them. When you have multiple routes for different locations. It becomes a bit difficult. Thank you. I look forward to see a search bar in the next update and real time data isn’t also available, resulting in incorrect bus arrivals..Version: 5.4.3

A great appThis app makes public transport in Sydney super easy. watch you bus come down the road on the real-time map and time your leaving any building to catch the bus with ease. You can also tap any bus stop to see any bus stopping there and where it can take you..Version: 5.2.7

Super ups to date across vic and NsWUse it for Syd buses and Melb regional rail. Trust it. Rely it, use it daily.Version: 5.6

FantasticI'm new to the public transport system in Sydney & have found this app indispensable. Couldn't recommend it highly enough..Version: 2.8

Can't do without....A must for anyone using public transport around Sydney..Version: 3.8.2

Brilliant and AccurateI used this app on a recent month long visit to Sydney, from England. It saved me so much messing about and allowed me to fully enjoy my holiday. Bring able to tour round the city and suburbs using all the transport without even worrying about where and when return journeys were. I wish the apps for British rail journeys were even half as good they would be excellent. Thanks for helping make my local holiday painless..Version: 3.1

Trip view is the best appI have been using TripView for years now, even when I used to have it on my old iPod touch before I had an iPhone. It truly changes the way you catch public transport as you always know exactly what’s happening, where the delays are and what your options are. I use it daily and am surprised when I meet people who have never heard of it! Given how many delays there always are on our trains and buses, TripView is essential..Version: 5.8.0

TripView AppI started using this app a few years ago. It’s one of the best transport apps I have used. The timetables are 80.90% accurate. Keeps you updated with delays and facilities eg. lifts escalators that are working. Very impressive ! FIVE STAR APP.Version: 5.9.6

355 timetable missing for a bit and now not reflecting correct infoI love this app generally and use it extensively but for the past three weeks the 355 from Bondi Junction to Marrickville Metro has been missing in action (not there) or not showing all options. Today it says it runs from my stop starting Saturday so I have had to look at an old entry to find that it is running today (and same last weekend) but not reflected in the app. A small annoyance yes but if I don’t say anything then I can’t ask for it to be looked at. With thanks..Version: 5.8.8

Mark current/selected trip itineraryWhen i start any travel/itinerary, i cannt track the same after some time, i mist keep on searching. If i want to know which train I picked up, where am i, when will i reach to my destination, i have to again start search. So can we have functionality like, once i choose the itinerary i could mark it or pin it or flag it so that i can check how long it will take? This is very useful when i am traveling to new route. Additionally, app can give alert before one stop when i am about to finish my travel in selected itinerary. This helps us to track other people or family member to track their status quickly. Providing option to pin more itinerary will help to track more travel simultaneously, like i am going to office, kids going to somewhere else etc..Version: 5.9.6

Need better user interfaceRequires better design. Better design for storing route trips. Ability to organize most frequently used trips. Ability to choose faster trains quickly. Organizing and saving trips in a more user friendly way without much clutter. For e.g.; user has some 30 routes saved and at the time of trip he should be able to find his intended trip info quickly without going through all the trips he saved..Version: 5.2.7

First place I go to to check transport optionsSO helpful! Keeps you updated re arrival & departure times. Makes checking transport options much easier as it’s all available in one app. Hav recommended to visitors and locals alike. Love it! My go to app when planning a trip on public transport. Have also recommended this app to travellers to help them get around Sydney. Regular updates keep u well informed. And u can follow yr trip route on a map-helpful in so many ways. A must have app for everyone. One of my favourites! Well done🥇 One app I wouldn’t be without! Hav also recommended this app as a must have to friends and travellers to Sydney. Agree with the above comments: keeps u well updated, informed and makes getting around on public transport SO much easier. Congrats to whoever designed this app-it is so USER FRIENDLY! One of my favourites-“🎶u r simply the best🎶”.Version: 5.8.1

Best app on my phoneBeen using TripView since 2009 (iPhone 3GS) and it has almost never let me down. Accuracy is extremely good. It has only been wrong three times out of hundreds of uses, by now possibly thousands. And the last error was over five years ago. Paid for it in 2010 and has more than paid for itself many times over. The most useful app on my phone..Version: 5.8.7

More featuresWould it be possible to implement a feature where you pre choose a destination and the start of the journey be based off of currently location. It’s just a bit tedious having to have so many trips pre made fore example. Sometimes I want to get from town hall to home or central to home or at James to home and have to have all three of these trips pre made. Would there be a way for you to make it so trip view could use a google maps approach based off current location and best route to destination ? Maybe add an option for auto sync for backups since some people use multiple devices and would be nice to not have to continuously have to manually back up and restore. No response ?.Version: 5.8.1

Only one that includes bus schedulesApp checks for updates to train, bus and ferry schedules and downloads. Best of the bunch if you're visiting Sydney..Version: 0

Excellent App to get around the cityThis app is great whether a visitor or resident to Sydney. Ferry, train, bus times all in one spot made travel and absolute breeze. Always up to date up to date on any delays allowing you to easily alter any forward travel or meeting times..Version: 5.6.5

EssentialFor the public transport travelling visitor this is a key resource. Optimally, associated with access to a bit of local knowledge when interpreting bus stops... 😏.Version: 5.3.1

Awesome watch app!The  Watch part of TripView is fantastic. It gives me exactly what I need in the glance and upon launching. The distance sorting and auto-reversing allows the watch app to nearly always show me the train I want to take -- based on where I am and my saved routes. Very thoughtfully done..Version: 4.4

Bus appThe bus never comes on time and the app a lot of the time says bus location unknown. Like today Saturday the bus 360 is 5 minute late and there will be less than 5 people on it what going on is the bus drivers doing his own timetable my bus stop is only 2 stops from the bus station Bondi Junction and I catch this bus 5 times a week and 3 times out of 5 every week the bus 360 is late. That means I am late for my work. I know there will be nothing done about it. this review is just hope. From my opinion I really don’t know how the bus can be late most of the week at 7.36am Monday to Friday and Saturday at 7.11am. Donal.Version: 5.7.2

Good! After prolonged use it seems the live data isn't very reliable. It's still pretty decent though..Version: 3.8.2
