✓ Handy applicationI down loaded this application mainly for the moon set times. It works great for this need. Would like to see a graphical representation of the moon phase on the same page as the moon rise and set times. Currently you need to go to a different area to get that information (in text form)..Version: 0
✓ Sun n MoonBoth my son and I are into photography and since we got this app we have become sunset photo buffs. Knowing the exact time of the sunset makes it so easy. This summer we travelled from Oregon to the mid west where the sunsets were spectacular and right on time as shown in this app. Very cool that the program could use the built in GPS and auto correct for our new location. Anyone who loves to photograph the great outdoors will love this app..Version: 0

✓ Not enough starsThis rev is exactly what I needed. This app has reached the top. There is no way to improve it from here. I photograph sunrise/sunsets, moonrise/moonsets and used to have to fake out the app by setting the ipod time and date to the time of the event I was interested in to get an actual compass direction for where on the horizon things are going to happen. Not anymore! You can set your location in maps to exactly where you are and with the new rev know exactly where on the horizon the rise/set.. is going to occur. If you are into photography this is EXACTLY what you need for this type of landscape photos. Fantastic job in providing this update. There aren't enough stars to actually rate it.. The only thing to improve on its usefulness to me is for apple to finally get a gps in the ipod touch so I can pinpoint my location exactly.. but that ball is in apples court! thanx for a great update.. hallmark.Version: 0
✓ It's ok.I'm a truck driver who hauls oversize loads, where sunrise and sunset times are critical. An error can cost around $500. So far this app has done well as far as accuracy is concerned, but it would benefit from a better list of cities. I find myself hoping I have wifi so I don't have to set my position manually on the map. This app is trustworthy, but would benefit from additional development and patches..Version: 2.0
✓ Great app, but a minor bugA great little app that I use all the time. On my 3GS running the latest OS, there's an annoying little bug when the "autolocate on startup" option is on. It seems to find the right location, but it's always 3 hours off in the time zone. A work-around is to go to the map settings and click the "find where I am" button, then turn off the autolocate on startup option. But it would be nice to have this bug fixed..Version: 0

Don't need to be connected to calculate times or go to a different city or location. ✓ Good but not greatI mostly want to know when it will get dark. It would be nice to add the civil twilight. Also the interface could look a little nicer. Replace the sunrise/set photos with icons. Add a nice background, get rid of the display boxes around the the times - they look like a place to input text..Version: 0

✓ Impressive functionality. Great interface. Uses GPS location! Like the Google Maps.The application has a great interface - really big letters, and easy navigation. I like that it calculates the sunrise and sunset automatically based on my exact GPS coordinates. Or if I want to pick a different city or different date, I can do that too. ✓ Excellent interfaceBeautiful layout - very easy to read. Another comment here said you can't save manually entered locations but you can. You just need to turn off the auto-locate at startup. I like how the phases of the moon animate for different days. All of the iOS4 issues seem to be fixed! ✓ Very good but some problemsThe ideal app would have 1) sunrise / sunset, 2) moon rise / moon set, 3) moon phase, 4) sun/moon compass, and 5) graphic world time of day (daylight / dark). This app has all except # 5. However, I just downloaded v 1.2 to an ipod touch with v3.0 software installed and the "new" moon phase graphic shown on the advertisement is not part of the software despite indicating it is present in S&M 1.2. Also, I agree, entering a zip code should be available for setting location. Otherwise a good value..Version: 0
