✓ Informative but clunkyI love the ephemeris features but the app is very clunky. In addition, there’s no option for a square chart. Not good for traditional astrology. In response to the developer: I’m sorry for not being clearer. Maybe this will help you understand. Your app only offers wheel charts. While these are pretty and mesmerizing to look at, a lot of astrologers prefer traditional charts where the chart isn’t a wheel, but a square. Each house is clearly separated in its own triangle without the need for intersecting lines all over the place. It’s almost like an ephemeris meets a chart! ✓ Okay app, bad customer supportMy brothers and sisters in Chiron, if you require customer support please know you will not receive it. You will be aggressively directed to the app instructions. As evidenced in previous reviews, the developer is quite defensive and will not accept anything less than positive feedback. It’s an okay app, nothing more or less. I switch between this app, TimePassages Pro, and several websites to get what I need while on my phone. Forward/backward time controls on the display are the main reason I use this app. It lacks several centaur/asteroid/planet options, I have all selected/purchased and still find it lacking compared to TimePassages. There are display bugs I have been told are user errors, but they persist even when I review and apply the app instructions. 1 star deducted for aggressive customer support..XoxoballsVersion: 11.2.2

✓ Reasonable, but room for improvement ...It took a while to get used to the navigation on this app - e.g. once in chart mode, there seems no way to 'return', but I found that double-tapping the chart solved this. Double-tapping on the tables (which always launched 'zoomed out') is a nice shortcut to zoom-in on the data. I would like to see more options regarding the colour display - can we please have monochrome, ie black text, white background - and vice versa? Also the planetary symbols could be bolder and more distinct - Venus and Mercury glyphs are a bit similar, visually. Overall, this is a reasonably good app, somewhat over-priced in my opinion, but does a fairly good job given it is (currently) one of the few iPhone apps that can draw a horoscope..Kiwi_deluxVersion: 0

✓ Good data - decent purchase - but needs workThis is a worthy purchase if you need the data on the fly via your iphone. The shortcoming is that, IMHO, the interface needs work to make the data more readable. Currently it is laid out in the usual manner of ephemerides which doesn't visually translate well to an iphone. For instance it would be better to be able to have the data on a day-by-day basis, possibly with important ingresses highlighted by an icon or in some other graphical manner, taking full advantage of the iphone interface. The developer of this app has a difficult time taking feedback about app disfunctions, of which there are many. You CANNOT TRUST the charts it casts. They are consistently incorrect. If you’re not double checking this app against another source, you will never know - so what are you paying for? See other reviews for confirmation of this. Second to this complete fail, the developer is beyond rude & takes zero responsibility, instead he blames his customers based on their location. Who does that?! ✨TIME PASSAGES is not dead, as he has stated. It’s a far better, accurate choice. ✨ASTRO GOLD is a million times better service & product. ✓ Was expecting better for that priceIt’s very uncomfortable not to be able to switch between the chart and ephemerids. Super uncomfortable to have to leave the chart and then select it again. Also it is indicated that to use the Transits section, you need to select a chart in Settings and I can’t for my life, find that option, therefore I can’t use that section. ✓ EphemerisI like this program. It is an electronic ephemeris. Which means it lists in a table the position of certain celestial bodies. I ephemeris does several things other astrology charting software doesn't. 1. You can look up the position of 'progressed' lunar nodes in the ephemeris. Other programs fail to adjust for the mean retrograde motion of the nodes. If this matters to you I ephemeris solves the problem. 2. The astrology wheel for 'now' works in real time, a nice feature. 3. If you want to set your own Ayanamsa I ephemeris allows you to do this. 4. Most astrology apps do not include an ephemeris if you need a portable digital ephemeris this program works. 5. It also has a calendar showing transits to whatever chart you choose. I use 'Astrogold' to generate astrology charts but this app gives you the ability to look at an ephemeris. I ephemeris is a useful addition to other astrology software..Marcus UraniaVersion: 9.6

✓ Best Astrology App AvailableI use this app everyday and have used it for the past 4 years. It has the best interface of any app offered in the app store. With cloud storage for charts, and new features such as Categories, you can add tags to charts and organize them to your liking. There are a couple features I’ve been wishing to be added this app. • While I’m happy that some of the lesser used aspects are included (Decile, Bi-Novile, Septile, Quindecile, etc.), the septile series is missing the Bi-Septile (102°) and Tri-Septile (154°). • Planet glyph overlap still remains to be an issue when there’s a stellium, whether you’re in single chart view, in 2 chart view, or 3 chart view. Even zooming in doesn’t make it legible. • It would be nice to add an option to type in a transit date when using Chart + Now. Skipping back and forth between “7 days” to “1 day” and “10 minutes” can be a hassle. However, it’s no problem when your forecasting ahead and not having a particular date in mind to look at. • The aspect table in Chart + Now or when doing synastry sometimes calculates backwards. ✓ QualityVery well made app. Working flawlessly, intuitive to use and nicely customisable. Only reason not to give 5 stars is that the icons are a bit small. ✓ ConfusingUpdate: the developer can’t take feedback and responds defensively. The app is confusing. The documentation isn’t good. Sorry I didn’t sugar coat or give 5 stars. 3 is about right for a useful app that is frustrating to learn, confusing to use, and not cheap. Original review: It seems like there are a lot of features but the app is sooooo confusing. For instance, I keep getting an error saying that if I want to see the transit calendar I need change a setting. But the setting mentioned doesn’t exist. It’s confusing to add charts. ✓ Really useful but.....I really like this app. It gives all the information that a serious astrologer need. It's great that you can save charts and check transits for as many as you want. But there is one serious flaw which why I've only given it three stars instead of five and that legibility. The planet and sign symbols are too small and in such a thin typeface that they are hard to read. It's a strain when you have to struggle to distinguish between Mercury and Venus or Virgo and Scorpio. If the type was thicker and brighter and Different colours were used for symbols and aspect lines it would be much easier to use and nicer to look at. Painful to navigate and enter chartsThought I’d write this scathing review to release my pent up frustration with this App. It keeps asking me to put a chart in the transit calendar settings but I have no charts on this device. Way to messy and complex to make a simple chart. Thought I’d try it again since I paid for it and it’s been a few years since I last tried. A few updates later my hopes were higher, but this app is still as lame as it was back then. Shame because it seems to have all the right ideas. The lay out and navigation is absolutely terrible. ✓ Not workingThis app was working fairly well when I first got it. However, it is now completely unable to accurately calculate a simple chart, which, quite frankly renders it useless and unreliable. There are many other sources that offer chart calculations (some free, some not).
