✓ Let down by bugsIn theory this should be a great app but its let down by bugs, and there's loads of them, depending on the combination you choose sometimes the location sounds don't play at all, sometimes the affirmation does not play, and when you save your own special program settings it doesn't record all the information like the volume settings, id they ironed these bugs out this would be a killer app!.Version: 2.2.2

✓ Abandonware? Support?This would be at least a 4 star app, but it has some obvious bugs and hasn't been updated in quite a while. - There's a problem with the "location" background sound (rain, etc). It seems that when the loop is over it cuts out for a half a second before restarting. This is a little jarring to me. Maybe it's iPhone 4S specific or something but it's happening on my phone. I end up working around this problem by using other apps for the background sound. - I often have trouble with the inception track not playing. Restarting the app usually fixes it. I sent email to support about these problems but didn't get any response. Other than these bugs, the app is better than others I've seen. It's actually customizable instead of just having a few preset frequencies..Version: 2.2.2

✓ Inception no longer worksThe inception function stopped working. This used to be a 5 star app for me. I tried to contact the developer on this matter but their mailbox is full. I'm guessing that they have abandoned this app as it has not been updated in quite awhile. I hope this review gets their attention as I will change it to 5 stars if they fix this problem. But: 1 - the strobe mode has a persistent banner with the warning sign; 2 - sound library could be richer than just two sounds; 3 - and more importantly, it lacks signal modulation (wave parameters: height, length, phase, waveform-sine,square, triangle, sawtooth, or just a note), so you could have a preferred sound..Version: 3.0.6

✓ Needs workIt works but needs polishing touches to make it worth the cash. All sounds should really fade out at end of timer, instead the just stop. The strobe effect needs more consistency, at the moment it skips or pauses, not good for conducive viewing. More location options at a higher quality are needed to compete with other cheaper apps. I cannot fault the beats though. Very effective. Some preloaded inceptions/affirmations would be good too, be these would have to be high quality. It easy to get a grating accented voice that gets on your nerves....so a professional voice would be nice. If you just want high quality beats, I would recommend at a lower price. ✓ HELP US DEVELOPERS!!!I want to love this app, but at this point I just want to use this app. The guide and instructions (or lack of) ARE TERRIBLE!!! The very intricate detailed screens that are supposed to provide instruction are too small to read with the naked eye and can not be enlarged. And the absolute void of customer support is just frustrating. I've had this app for a year and I've done everything I can think of to try to understand how to use this- I've emailed- I've gone to the website. NO ONE EVER RESPONDS TO ANYTHING! Read these reviews - they're great from the fortunate people who've figured out use it (& still many of those express my same difficulties) and the rest of us just want some help. ✓ Allow Custom Audio Integration (Not Just Recordings)Suggestions for Version 2: Either allow support of the built in music player over the top of binaural audio, or integrate a custom audio picker that imports audio tracks (mp3, m4a, m4b, wav, etc) and plays them in a loop or optionally a certain number of times). Multiple recordings and audio tracks would be even better! Allow mixing of the recordings and the audio tracks, and allow scheduling of the various audio tracks and recordings to play at specific times on the timeline. ✓ Set backs since purchase.The app was great when I first purchased it for a truly binaural experience. The frequency range was up to 40 or 50Hz. Now only to 34Hz, sadly. The inception playback no longer works. I could independently control the volume when using other apps, that is also becoming problematic. I really enjoyed using the app. The app is being updated but losing it’s functionality. I payed for this app, and removal of the features is rather poor customer support. Hopefully the next update includes the previous removed settings and then adds a more user friendly interface, not overly simplistic either. ✓ Good Idea – Bad ImplementationIt appears that this program has not been tested before the release. I checked the Meditation Mode with Start Frequency of 18 Hz and Target - of 6.8 Hz, and here are the results: For a 10 min session it worked as promised; For 20 min and 30 min sessions, at the end of the session the frequency increased to 33.8 Hz (not to 18 Hz as it was supposed). However, during a 60 min session, the frequency decreased to only about 15 Hz (instead of 6.8 Hz) during the first 10 min, but then it turned back and increased to …. 216 Hz!!! They could bake our brains at 216 Hz! What else is wrong with this program?.Version: 0
