✓ Almost Perfect!This app is almost perfect for me. I’m not allowed to wear a watch at work so I have to rely on wall clocks and my phone all the time. I hate having to keep up with clock batteries and I often keep working rather than check my phone so an audible app like this is exactly what I need. The only change I’d like to see made is the option for night mode: set the app to stop tolling at 9pm and start again at 5am (or as desired). That being said, I can adjust the notifications or turn on the Night Mode app, though that also silences incoming messages so not 100% ideal..Version: 2.1.3

✓ GRRRRRREAT! actually!Let me rectify my shot with my "False representation" review. Turns out I hadn't given the app the time to fully deploy its components and get fully working, as happens often with Apple iDevice apps. Because after missing two straight quarterhours, the app started working fine, even while inactive (or "killed"), and hasn't missed a single chime since. So I should have waited to post my review! It works just as specified. So no, don't turn away from it. It is sure worth its price. And, I'm also extremely satisfied with the sound quality. The volume is not adjustable, but it sounds at just the right level, loud and clear enough to be well heard yet never too loud as to disturb or to grab the attention of the people around you. The sound is great, and not tinny at all in my iPod touch's tinny speaker. In the earphones, it greatly replicates the heavy yet soft iron bells' sound. And when it's a bit noisy, it will sound so softly out the speaker like a clock tower chiming in the distance. This app also comes with a great clock display that works, and the 4th quarterhour even starts early to make BigBen strike on the hour, unlike other mobile Big Ben apps. On the clock though, the hands appear a bit pale (esp. on the daytime clock), and when they're together, the hour hand appears on top, while it's actually under. But these are very minor imperfections, and overall, kudos for a mobile app very well done!.Version: 2.0

✓ App reviewLove this app! Use it daily for all sorts, made a large scale model of the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben with working clocks. I have the chimes going off through the model in sync with the clocks! Somethings that would be so awesome would be if perhaps you had a few more sky variations or edits, eg. At 6pm the background faded to a dusk one and maybe around 9pm it faded to the night background. Now the spotlights on the tower go off at midnight, would be amazing if you had them off at midnight as well! I'm overthinking as I know it's just a fun app but that would be very cool!.Version: 2.1

✓ This is AwesomeBig Ben is my favorite attraction in the whole world. I was saddened when I could not hear him when I came to London back in 2017. I used Big Ben as a church theme, and have the chimes as a ringtone. Thank you for this. I know I sound stupid, but this app is probably one of the best reasons I have an iPhone. ✓ Won't Turn Off!Update. Sorry, I have figured it out. The chimes may be switched off by a switch from within the app. I did not realize that an app's internal switch could remain active even though an app is not running and is removed from the multitasking window. I have increased my rating as promised. Since this is possible, I now wonder why the alarm-apps I have tried say their app must appear in the multitasking window to remain functional? ................ This is a nice app and works as advertised except that I am unable to turn the chimes off even though I have turned off the app in the multitasking window. I am using a 3rd Gen iPod Touch with the very latest IOS. I will give this more stars when the developer tells me how to switch off the chime without having to delete the app from the device. PS. I've tried resetting the device, but it still keeps on chiming when I need it to be off..Version: 2.0

✓ One of the best!This app is the best Big Ben app I have seen. At a cheap price, one of London's most famous landmarks comes to life on your Apple device. Simply watch the clock as the hands move and show the time set to your Apple device. The only improvements for this app are that the minute hand should move smoothly, (every 2 seconds the hand should move a tiny bit) and when the chimes go and the app is not running, when you turn the volume up or down the chimes go off.
