✓ UhhhThis is good for helping me sleep but I didn't pay $2.99 to help me sleep, what does any of this have to do with weight loss. He doesn't do anything to help you lose weight, it's just to help you sleep. ✓ Very disappointing, not usual standardAndrew has missed the mark with this hypnosis, unlike the quit smoking one which I found very useful. He constantly repeats the term 'fattening foods'... Not recommended at all by me but glad it appears to have worked for some..Version: 4.99
✓ Not so much....I listen to Andrew's meditations all through the night ...every single night.... they're amazing! This one however has a lot of words that begin and end with a long, drawn out S. It sounds like hissing ... over and over.. and I wakeup in a twilight sleep throughout it. I had to quit using it. I would love for Andrew to create a new one!.Version: 8.38
✓ The ad in the beginning for him is a major dragI have two other of his apps and I like them so I was bummed when he opened this one with ad ad for himself, inviting people to click links later (ooh, looking forward to getting links during my meditation!). I guess he’s gotten really successful so now instead of just being good and letting word of mouth work its magic, he’s chosen to self promote. As a component of a meditation app, and a $2.99 one at that, it’s bad business. It’s the last app of his I’ll buy because of this, so in trying to drum up business, he lost it. Who woulda thought. The ad may not play every time. Still the one feels different than ones I’ve listened to in the past. It was clearly edited so the nonspecific hypnosis part of it is tethered to the weight losss part of it so that he can use the hypnosis part of it with other programs. Also it’s not a positive message. It’s “stop eating those fattening foods, those greasy, salty, fattening foods, those sickly sweet foods.” I mean maybe some people need that but I don’t eat anything like that. It isn’t positive, it’s negative. This was is definitely not as strong as the two previous ones I’ve used..Version: 9.2

✓ Great voice,some poor wordingYes, awesome voice&app has great option selections...BUT..... Near end of relaxing intro he says- "imagine yourself becoming heavier & heavier..." & later n same section- "your body becoming more relaxed & heavier". !!!! Fine perhaps, for his other apps but NOT this one!!! Also, at least for me, the adjectives "creamy" & "savory" do not tell my brain to stay away. Yes this app will put u right to sleep but u might want to stay awake at least once & hear it all. Most of it is really good but... Wish Paul McKenna had an app with these awesome settings. App has not been updated n a long time but if it is, I would gladly change my rating..Version: 0
✓ Works for headaches!I have frequent migraines & this program is often more effective at relieving headaches than my prescription migraine meds. I usually just do the instructions & long induction & feel much better after. As for weight loss, I rarely listen to that portion of the program because I am put off by the emphasis on avoiding "fatty foods." I believe my issue is portion control & emotional eating, not so much fat content, and I think that goes for a lot of people. It's too bad the program isn't more focused on that aspect rather than just cutting out certain types of food, which I think is not effective in the long term. That said, I still highly recommend this program as a headache relief/relaxation tool..Version: 0
