✓ Great game but could be betterI love this game but what is missing here is the ability to compete against the other characters or a friend. I also have this game on my DS LITE and I prefer to play it on that because it does have the daily challenge, compete against computer or live opponent and it used to also be capable of playing on line but apparently there were not enough people playing it so they no longer have on line play. If they could add the other features I would rate this game 5 stars easy. If you like word games this is a great game but if you like the challenge of having an opponent then this isn't it. I would also like to mention to the developers that if they added the additional features I would pay more for the app gratefully, the on line interaction and ability to compete against the computer were a great way to learn new words even though the computer would regularly cheat and use words that weren't in any dictionary or to be found on line! Hahaha. If that don't make you better then I don't know what will. This game could easily over run words with friends and all the other word games if they would add the interactive features. PLEASE :-).Version: 1.5
✓ Awesome word game!This is a really fun game and a lot of the problems have been fixed (still wish we could do the Temple Challenge that other formats have) but the one thing I find to be maddening is that the "challenger banner" that comes down on the right covers up all the calendar dates along the right side in such a way that you can't tap those dates, say if you missed a day or if you're going back to previous months. That's so annoying!.Version: 1.5
✓ Fun, but missing key featuresI was glad to see the price point drop to $1.99 on this game. I played the puzzles in the free version over and over. It has good graphics and the controls are very user friendly, but it's missing two key features that would make this game a BEST SELLER: 1. Difficulty level. I easy beat the computer's high scores by 50+ points sometimes, so where is the challenge? There needs to be different difficulty levels that raise the number of points required to win. Otherwise, why play? 2. Global leaderboards! Having a feature that showed what others were scoring on each days puzzle would be a HUGE motivation to come back everyday and try to get the top score. It would also be cool to see others word lists (maybe after that day's puzzle was done) or to see the maximum points possible. These two features would make the game so much more addicting! Add these features, then put it on sale for $.99 and watch your game hit the TOP 25. Don't let the potential of this great word game go to waste!.Version: 0

✓ Repeated puzzlesIt was going great and I thought it was a fab game until I was catching up with last years puzzles and found July and august 2009 to be exactly the same as July and august 2010! I then checked January but they were different so at some point between Jan and July the creators just began repeating old stuff. So what happened to the new puzzle every day?.Version: 0

✓ Addictive, Then RejectedSome games are easier than others, but the game quickly sucked me in! Fun, challenging, and the database has plenty of words so you will not be penalized for knowing obscure words. (Added June 2015) Last year, I deleted the game because it was interfering with an audio app, then reinstalled several months later. Then I deleted it because it rejected some fairly obvious words such as “olympic.” Then I reinstalled a few months ago to give it one more chance. The last straw(s) was its acceptance of “tireder.” Seriously. It accepts “Jesus” but it rejects all other cultural/religious words. Maybe that is a subtle suggestion that I do not need this game any more..Version: 1.6

✓ Love it!I love this game; I play it every morning to wake up my mind. But its dictionary needs to be updated as I try many valid words and they come up as not acceptable..Version: 1.6
✓ Great, except......it's started to crash constantly. I found I wanted more than one game a day and discovered that you can scroll back to previous months. After doing this, though, the app started to behave erratically - crashing my iphone 3G after most games, showing an incomplete game on the calendar where I had completed one, and vice versa. ✓ Fun but some drawbacks...I spent awhile playing this game last Sunday. When you get to the end of the puzzle, if you have not beaten the "high score" given for that day, you get a field of small flowers. If you beat it, you get large flowers which in turn are saved to your calendar. When I refresh the game, it loses my "wins" which is frustrating. Also, I've found a few words that are not recognized by the game. Overall fun, but needs some fixing with regards to saving scores..Version: 0

And a few others too - all perfectly good English words (not even swear words) - but apparently not acceptable. And these have been common words with consistent standard spellings across the world's dictionaries. ✓ Nice graphics, but way too easyI love word games. I like mahjong. This seemed like a great combination of the two -- but what a disappointment! If you have any knowledge of English at all, this game will be way too easy for you. It takes no effort at all to clear the board and to beat the target scores for the day. After a dozen or so games, I just lost interest altogether. If the developers add more challenging levels it might be worth a second try sometime later. But as it is, this game is just nice graphics and no challenge whatever. I'll give it two stars for the effort, since they did a good job with the graphics and interface, but if you're a fan of word games you'd be better off saving your money for something else..Version: 0
