Recent update - crashesThe app has been good until recently when there are numerous crashes when using the app. Some saved workouts completely disappeared and when attempting to start them nothing happens. Also missing the previous neutral voice trainings like yoga with straight to the point instructions . The new live yoga or training narrated/recorded videos might be good at the first go but then when watched/practiced repetitively become annoying as you need to hear same stories over and over again. Please bring back the little thumbnails you used to have and graph showing exercise progression, those were great!.Version: 6.37.0

Plan/program unavailable in NZUsed to use this app with the ‘Plan’ feature last year. Which has now changed to ‘Program’ but is unavailable. It does show up when I open the app for the first time but then disappears after a bit. Read the description and noticed the feature is not available in NZ yet. Kind of a bummer honestly because it was so helpful to have the app automatically set a plan/workout program for me and motivated me to workout. Ever since it has disappeared I’m finding it quite difficult to keep on top of my workouts and maintain a schedule. Would be nice to see this feature back/available in my region. With that feature I would give this app a 5/5 rating. Without it I would have to give it a 3..Version: 6.30.0

Buggy app, doesn’t work on watch at all and no supportCan’t believe this app was made by a multi-billion dollar company. Nothing works properly, let alone nice features like dark mode we expect from decent developers. The workouts you plan in NRC don’t show up, it doesn’t pick up heart rate, etc. so the calorie estimates are nonsense. The watch app doesn't work at all, it just has a screen saying “Find a workout on your phone” but even after doing a full workout on the phone the watch does absolutely nothing. Tried reinstalling but it did not help. To make matters worse, they “support” link is to Twitter! I don’t have Twitter and I don’t want to sign up to Nikes favourite social media just to get support!!! Amazing....Version: 6.17.0

Bad UpdateI used to religiously use this app, but ever since the update I can’t use it anymore. Please reverse the update, or atleast provide the options of the workouts before the update..Version: 6.33.0

AWFUL UpdateNTC was a saviour at the beginning of Covid, and I was at one time using this app 5+ times per week. I was amazed it was free as I would have paid a subscription for an app that functioned as well as it did. However, as others have stated, the recent updates are awful. You can no longer view workout structures ahead of time (if I want to avoid overworking certain muscle groups, for example) and the compatibility with my Apple Watch has suffered significantly for some reason. I am giving apple fitness a shot now..Version: 6.33.0

New app is GREATI used the old NTC app and love the new one. I love the fact that the exercises are varied and there's someone to cheer me along. I also like that I can make a workout plan to follow for several weeks. However, I hate the fact that all the exercises I had downloaded were lost, including my favorite ones. Now I have to re-download everything all over again😡 Also the new version with trainer-led workouts freezes after I’m done with the exercise and I can’t go back to the home page. They exercise don’t show up on my history. I can’t look for anything else until I delete the app and reload it. Please correct these. I don’t like the fact that the new version requires internet connectivity to do any exercise. Internet is not always available in LMICs like Zambia..Version: 6.33.0

Bring back the old formatI liked how it was before… if I wanted video I would just use YouTube.Version: 6.31.0

Why video? Why would you make it a video instead of step by step exercise? now I don't even know which step that I'm following without the timerunning bar. what a stupid change..Version: 6.31.0

WORST UPDATE EVER. PLEASE BRING BACK THE OLD VERSION.I have used this app since January 2019. I have never paid for any other fitness app because this was just perfect. I have really tried to like the new update but it’s awful and nearly impossible to use. You can no longer see any of the movements before starting the video or selecting a workout and then watching the whole thing. You are now choosing the workouts blind. I can’t prepare weights. You can no longer see the green bar timer which was such a fantastic feature. I have really tried to like the new version but it’s awful. The videos don’t load properly, crash half way through and I lose all my progress despite having full reception (I have taken screenshots). My phone has actually fully shut off during using the app and I’ve had to restart it. After a workout when you select the location and effort it won’t let you click the next arrow, you have to go out of the app and back in to use the app again. I am just soooo devastated with the new upgrade. IF YOU HAVE NOT UPDATED THE APP. DON’T!!!! Please bring back the old version and incorporate the class version too. But I loved the timed workouts rather than rep based. Please Nike read all the App Store reviews on new update and bring back the old!.Version: 6.33.0

Workout videoThey changed the workouts into a video, and now I Cannot even workout because it requires internet. Like they should think, some people may not have internet in the gym and you cannot even download these videos..Version: 6.32.0

Doesn’t work.I tried the app for four days and after finishing my workout the app froze. And doesn’t work more..Version: 6.46.1

Good and straight forward but now no plans to followLoses a star : Downside is they removed the AI plans which were generated on you phone so you could plan 1-3 exercises per week. Now it’s just a course using the very limited videos. One involves a full gym. Who has that at home? You can still access the previous exercises but it’s appeal was it auto plans which suggested what to do each week. Now I have to spend hours doing that part myself. Major downside is the filtering on equipment. It asks if you have none, basic or full. There is no list anywhere to tell you what that means. Perhaps you have just resistance bands and a kettlebell or just dumbbells. You have to look at each workout and read the text explaining that in this case basic means a skipping rope. If you could filter and group plans / workouts better on the equipment it would be a perfect app..Version: 6.18.1

Change the app back!!Have to agree with many of the reviews here - it was 100x better before the update! The ability to see a breakdown of the exercises, the timer bar, and even the American narrator made this the best training app. I’ve been using this app for about 8 years so to see it go from such an amazing app I would recommend to everyone to just like every other workout app was disappointing. To quote Tyra Banks: “It is so bad, I want to give you a zero, but that’s not possible, so I give you a one”..Version: 6.32.0

Used to love it but am disappointedI’ve been using NTC club for around 4-5 years and it’s been my holy grail for working out. It got me started on a new lifestyle, and it’s helped me stay active even on days where I feel like I don’t have the time. The problem I have now though is with the most recent update where it takes the training programs and makes them premium only. Although I understand that the app still has all the old workouts I loved for free, what I’m upset about is that they completely scraped the free version of the plan system. The only reason I used the app in the first place was to have that customized plan in place and as we speak I was in the middle of a plan, and to have it taken away from me days before finishing when I was planning on moving to the next one, is a huge let down. I’ve always had a problem knowing which workouts to do in order, and the structure that came from the free plans is what helped me want to workout everyday. NTC updates have let me down before and they usually come back around, but in this case, I’m more disappointed than usual. I love this app and the workouts and as a college student, I can’t afford the premium plans. I’ve depended on the plan systems for years now and now it feels like my personal use for the app has greatly diminished. I’m probably still going to use NTC because it’s all I’ve ever known, but if there could be some re-implementation of the free training plan system I’d make my rating much higher..Version: 6.2.0

Used to be my favouriteThis app used to be amazing and I still think it is incredible that they provide all these work outs for free but I hate the update! It’s seems as though they are trying to replicate the Apple workout app with the video/class format. The best thing about this app was the ability to turn off the guidance and just have the timers, I do the same set of workouts every week so I know what the exercises are now and I don’t need the voice over telling me what to do every time, it’s annoying. I would understand if they had a mix of video & the old format to please every one but converting to completely video was a huge mistake..Version: 6.36.0

New update is trashI’ve been using this app since like 2016 best workout app their is!! The new update ruined all of that. VERRY disappointed:/ it used to be unique, easy to use, well developed, user friendly etc. Now it’s just a video you follow. It doesn’t show you the break time between sets you just have to look at the tiny timer at the bottom to see when it starts..Version: 6.32.0

App doesn’t open often, but great programsI’ve been having a lot of issues opening the app. I can sometimes open it, and then I can click maybe one or two things, then it’s frozen. Other times I go to open it and it force closes automatically. This persists til I delete and redownload the app, which I have to do daily. Not good considering I like to work out on my lunch break and I only have an hour. I waste precious minutes trying to get this app to work when I could be working out! The programs are mostly great! Some aren’t for me, but I’m very advanced. I wish you could rate individual workouts and it wouldn’t show you the ones you didn’t like anymore. I have to keep a log of the ones I want to improve on and ones I liked and would come back to (the save/bookmark feature isn’t enough because you can’t sort from within there and you can’t leave notes on each workout for yourself). I do love the rewards/achievements style the app takes, I just wish I could get the app to work!!!.Version: 6.32.0

Update Ruined AppApp used to be awesome. Now it’s horrible. No programs. Work outs all over the map. Music volume drowns out instructor with no way to adjust. Videos instead of routines. So so much worse..Version: 6.32.0

My favourite app is now a mess :(After using the Nike Training Club app for 18+ months there was an update, for whatever reason it asked me to login again. When doing so, to my complete frustration, all the workout information 350+ workouts over 18 months just disappeared! Not only that, but the Plan section of the app also does not appear anymore! Why would my whole profile history and key functionality of the app be removed? It also doesn’t marry up with what is being advertised as “new upgraded features” in the app description. I don’t know how I’ll ever get all my workout history recovered. But this is super disappointing and frustrating as a long time user! Please fix all the bugs and give us the functions back!.Version: 6.29.0

Buggy and old workouts no longer playThis is a great app when it’s working but lately it has been crashing a lot. Workouts started on the watch no longer record the correct calorie count. If a workout is interrupted the app stops working and starts playing random Apple Music playlists. Previously available workouts no longer play however they are searchable and can be saved to your saved list which is not at all useful. The new workouts and programs are amazing, so can you please fix the above issues to reduce the frustration..Version: 6.34.0

What happened?I loved this app when it had the timer bar and audio announcements that went across the screen and showed you the exercises coming up. Now everything seems to be in video format which is hard to plan for what’s coming up meaning I have to keep watching my phone the whole time..Version: 6.32.0

Duplicate Running Data while using Nike run and Nike Traning PlanIt has happened twice when I was reusing Nike running club for running and sync my data with my Apple Watch after I finish my run when I check my Apple Watch health app I found it has duplicate two runs one for Nike training club one for Nike running club and when I go back to Nike training club eat duplicates the running data.Version: 6.17.0

What happened ?I use to love this app for its variety of workouts and that it was free compared to apple fitness and peloton. I was disappointed to see with this update that you now have to use data to stream workouts which if you aren’t near wifi or don’t want to use your data makes it difficult. Also before you could scroll down and see what exercises were in program to plan ahead. Now you can’t see anything. Why Nike? If it ain’t broke don’t fix..Version: 6.32.0

New format is terribleWith the update they lost the features that made this my favourite workout app. It was the most practical fir the best workout. You used to be able to preview exercises and find workouts easily. I actually liked that it was not in video style like all the rest so I could focus on form, not entertainment. It was perfect to use at the gym. Now it’s harder to find workouts, they don’t work as well and the content is not much better (even new workouts). It’s just like every other fitness video app and no longer useful..Version: 6.31.0

Dislike updateNew update made the workouts videos… preferred the original walk thru style.Version: 6.31.0

BRING BACK FREE PLANSI fell in love with this app when I first started using it. It was helpful to see the plan laid out in front of me. I also really enjoyed the feature where if a workout one day was too easy for me they would up the intensity next week. Unfortunately, I took a break from working out after experiencing the worst break up. It was only supposed to last a week but then it turned into months. When I finally felt ready to workout again I logged into my app to see that things have changed. I was freaking out. I have now been on a search for a similar app that is also free but I can’t find one. Because I have so much trouble trying to put a workout together because there is way to much information out there, I have yet to workout anywhere close to the way I used to. And my consistency is lacking. I can’t tell you how many people I recommended to get this app. Now I will have to tell people I have stopped using it because they don’t have this feature anymore. UPDATE: so when I had first logged into my app it said you guys would not be offering this feature anymore. Now it is a premium feature, which upsets me even more. Nike makes so much money as a company. You want me to pay $15 per month for a feature that used to be free. Nike promotes fitness but when it comes to money they don’t mind taking away features and making things less accessible to others. I AM SO THROUGH WITH SUPPORTING NIKE..Version: 6.3.0

Bewildering updateI can’t believe that Nike put in a concerted effort to water down the app and make it significantly worse. The video playback isn’t even good. You’d be better off just putting your stuff on YouTube. Hate Nike for this..Version: 6.32.0

251 Short Workouts. 89 Whiteboard. Those numbers show the changing priorities of the app makers. Just felt a need to update this review because they now seem to have gotten rid of some excellent workouts - including all the ones using the row machine. Bring those back please! While I appreciate you trying to add in more workouts that are accessible for all athletes, does that really mean you have to mess with the previous workouts and formats that were loved by so many of your users? I also can’t help but notice how many of the newer workouts are extremely short (less than 10 minutes). I’m a trainer and understand the science behind quick movement breaks throughout the day, but this is excessive. Seems like these short videos are taking up way more memory/data on the app than some of the older, superior workouts. **** I’ve been a long time committed user of the app, but I hate that you’ve recently converted all the older workouts into video format! As someone who likes to preview my workout and know exactly what moves are going to be included, this new format makes that almost impossible. Please consider at least including a list of the moves that will be in the workout that can be viewed before starting the video..Version: 6.36.0

Almost GreatLove the app and always use workouts from here when I have my functional training days/active rest days. I would’ve given 4 or 5 stars were it not for 2 things that I personally find incredibly infuriating. When starting a whiteboard workout, the volume on my device gets limited even when you’re not watching any of the videos. Would be great if this could only be applied when you actually play the video. The other thing is the lack of whiteboard workouts, it would be great if we could get the class based ones in a whiteboard format as well. I’ll be honest, the overly giddy demeanour the trainers have when trying to motivate me it just annoys me and there’s no way I can make it through 30-45 mins of that. Would love to see a return to the style the app had pre pandemic, seems that there was a stark shift in philosophy of the product managers during covid and it all seems more class oriented nowadays. Other than those two things, the app is awesome..Version: 6.39.0

Video FormatThe new video format is awful. After doing a routine a few times you no longer require the instructions but the timer is nice, now the app is essentially useless if you want to repeat workouts. The timer app is better a use of space..Version: 6.31.0

Lost functionalityThe latest update has taken away nearly all the functionality that made this app great. No more workout previews, watch integration is minimal, no more timer countdowns or rest countdowns. The previous version was a far superior app - this is basically just like watching a YouTube video now..Version: 6.31.0

Frustrating new updateWhy have you gotten rid of the old format? The new update is a major downgrade, for several reasons: Firstly, the class format doesn’t allow me to see any of the exercises before starting a workout, and, as an athlete who often picks up small injuries, this was a very useful feature as I was able to choose a workout that included no exercises which would worsen any injuries that I already had. The old format also allowed me to skip exercises (that were possibly painful if I did have an injury), which was very useful. All of this is impossible to do with the new update. I also used to keep an eye on the green bar on each exercise, as this was an easy method of finding out roughly how long there was left on each exercise. Now, the only way to see how long there is left on one particular exercise is to look at the tiny number on the bottom left of the screen, which is extremely chard to see. Additionally, I thoroughly enjoyed rep-based workouts - however the new update has completely got rid of them. Could you please bring back the old format, or at least address some of these issues in the new version? It would mean a lot to me if you could do something about this. I’ve loved this app for years and it’s greatly improved my fitness, however the new update seems to have ruined it..Version: 6.32.0

From this 📈 to this 📉This is my personal opinion and experience. I would’ve given this app a 5 ⭐️ in 2020 when I first downloaded it. However, the new features hasn’t made the app better. I prefer the older version where it builds your programme based on the survey you take part in. The online coaching 8 week programme with full equipment is buggy forever buffering. And now the latest version has more bugs where I go to select certain workout sessions in my activity history and it keeps kicking me out and activity history keeps disappearing 🤷🏾‍♂️. I get you want us to use the coaches programme but not all of us want that. Some of us do prefer the original version so it would be nice to have the build your own workout schedule programme back as an option. I find that version more motivating which helps me mentally..Version: 6.33.0

Was way better beforeI’ve had 5 nothing but 5 stars for this app for years up until now with the most recent update. There used to be a timer that showed each individual exercise and had a video attached if you needed to see how to do it. Now you need sift through an entire video to find the one you need to reference. You also have to set up a timer outside of the app for some of the workouts which is insanely inefficient and a pain to do. Finally they just clumped the list of each exercise into one paragraph making it way more difficult to actually follow. This upgrade get a big thumbs down for me..Version: 6.32.0

Update ruined the app completely uselessIdk how an update could ruin such a great app removed all of the workouts and exercises aswell as tons of functionalibilty.Version: 6.32.0

Nike ruined the app with update - so disappointedThis was the perfect workout app before the latest update, simple and with good variety. Since the update the app is totally trashed, why would they do this? Before you could just have the timers on workouts, listen to music with no problem, download workouts for when your not on WiFi and preview the steps of each workout. Does that sound great? Well Nike got rid of all of those sweet features with the latest update. Please revert back to the previous version and save the app!!.Version: 6.32.0

The concept is good butI like that you can build your own plans and there’s lots to choose from but I’m on the ‘easiest’ setting and it is is so so hard. For a beginner it is just stressful trying to keep up with the moves in time, you have 30 seconds to do most of them and it takes that time to work out what the trainer is actually doing on your tiny screen. In the first session I pulled my leg muscles really badly and couldn’t walk for 3 days. I’m sure once your good at it, it’s a very good app. However despite asking questions at the start, it doesn’t seem to take into account beginners who have not exercised for a long time, who do not know the work outs and who needs guidance in how to warm up and wind down from exercise to prevent injury. What would be better is if it could have an easier/slower function in the first few weeks so beginners like me do not have to get so stressed out trying to work out the moves in time and end up feeling like they’ve failed. My next scheduled exercise is a 30 minute run - Eugh I’ve not even done a run before and I can’t even run for a bus so doing it for 30 minutes will be insane!.Version: 6.10.0

App not workingLike many others I have been using the app successfully for the past couple of years but this last week it has not been working - stopped working after mirroring a session to my TV! Followed instructions found online - I have updated my OS, removed the app and reinstalled and signed back - the first time it opens the screen I was on when it first crashed but is frozen - after closing and trying again it just hangs on the loading screen for a while before closing down. Please help as so many of us use this app daily and will find another to use instead! Please acknowledge there is a problem and you are at least trying to fix it - these negative reviews will drive customers away!.Version: 6.46.0

Why did you ruin this app?!What the heck have you done to your app? Why are workouts now just one long video? This is the worst update I’ve seen. Makes me wanna look for alternatives… I am so upset, what a horrible way to ruin the app….Version: 6.31.0

Program progress lost, very frustratingAlthough I was a huge fan of the old format, I’ve been trying to give the new formats and class styles a go…and was really beginning to enjoy. Despite what appeared to be more buggy behaviour (difficulties playing music during work outs; screen getting ‘stuck’ when trying to rate workout) I was genuinely getting into my program. However upon being forced to login again recently (I assumed to ensure I had the latest version and bug fixes), I found my program progress was completely lost. It’s incredibly disheartening, and makes me feel like there’s no point staying loyal to the app..Version: 6.34.1

Good - but could use better UXGood quality workouts & instructions. One super annoying feature that I would love the developers to fix - there is no list of downloaded workouts. You cannot see what you’ve downloaded the only option is to “delete all” which seems ridiculous. If I have forgotten to “save” a workout I can literally never find it again even though it is taking up space on my phone. Also the British woman’s voice who is instructing the exercises is the most annoying thing ever..Version: 6.18.1

Needs work and mature!Great app but going through growing pain seems like! I have the paid premium version: Pros: - Great variation and style of workouts and instructors - Great core/ab workout built into most exercises. -Great user interface on the app, very crisp and engaging, love the app design and the whole idea and concept of this app -great for home workout and limited equipments -reasonable premium price Cons: -very problematic playback (if you use another app (text message, musics, etc) while a workout video is playing and come back to this app it pushes and buffers for ever and almost impossible to restart and forced me to close the workout and reopen and that makes it count as I finished one workout and I’m doing it for the second time. Same thing happens if I want to skip forwards or backwards!! -limited workout plans/programs -no way to rate or see ratings of individual workouts or programs (so kinda have to try each or guess to see if you like them) -no option to customize plans/programs (either you do the whole program or not which let me to do some parts of a program and skip some or just end it before program is finished which is very disappointing) -poor nutrition plan (essentially it’s blogging about nutrition and there’s no actual “plan” certainly no individualized nutrition plan or even anything close to it) -Random notifications from app that’s promoting Nike products (on paid version of app!) Hope they work on perfecting this app!!.Version: 6.7.0

Apple watch interface screwed with updateIt was so convenient to see the app name and timer with vibrate + beep after completing each exercise in a workout session. The new update has screwed everything , so disappointed. I might stop using the app now..Version: 6.31.0

Can we get the older version?Hi! I’ve being training with this very good app for a few weeks, but when I did my workout today, everything in the app had changed! I personally prefer the version before, when the workout weren’t like YouTube’s videos and I think that almost everyone agree. And please, can you mute the voice that is always talking? It’s good for yoga but I like to put songs when I’m doing burnouts and the voice is always sharing how the temperature is beautiful outside!!! I wonder if I can have the older version or a way to fix this like it was before. Thanks!.Version: 6.31.0

Great app usually but buggy. Doesn’t respond on program page, can’t open appNormally a fan of the app, but now it’s increasingly buggy. Started the kickstarter program and that had cause the app to not respond. Tried restarting my phone, uninstalling and reinstalling. Nothing works. Wanted to report the bug but there’s no actual way to do that. I kept being directed to Nikes official website but I don’t want to buy no shoe! Wish the bug could be resolved soon, would love to use the app again..Version: 6.46.1

Just keeps getting worseWhen I first started using this app it used to: Instantly open Not require an internet connection Send haptic feedback to my watch during a workout Now it sits on a blank screen for up to 30 seconds, forces you to do a workout online and my watch no longer tells me when a set is finished. Also the calorie measurement doesn’t work. Right before the end of my workout it shows ~50-55 calories burnt but when the summary screen shows it says ~10-20. But instead of fixing all these problems they go ahead and add special audio with no way to disable it. Now when I’m doing crunches the instructors voice annoying flys around my head rather than staying fixed. What will they do next?.Version: 6.38.0

Awful updateWhy remove the list of exercises in a workout and make it to a single video? Absolutely ridiculous. I can’t even see exercises anymore, how are you supposed to a pick a workout?.Version: 6.32.0

Update is ok...ishNTC has always been my #1 fitness app and have used it for years (practically forever) so I was super hyped for the new update. But it’s already problematic and it’s been two days. The premium features are good, the workouts look cool and the tips are ok but tracking activity is garbage. Before, it would track on my Apple Watch and show up both on my Health App and NTC; the app showing activity and buzzing on my watch as the workout progressed. With premium, it doesn’t do that. At all. My watch will say Let’s Start Training and not move past that screen for the entire workout. Not tracking anything. When I used it yesterday, after completing the workout, it said I burned zero calories and worked out for zero minutes (mind you, it was 30 minute workout). This morning, the app crashed and didn’t count the workout towards the program. Nike need to get it together if they plan on charging $15 a month. It’s totally not worth it, if people are paying for something that doesn’t track activity properly (or at all). The app performed better when it was free..Version: 6.0.0

Workout Format ChangedI’ve had this app for years, long before COVID, and I miss the old format. I liked it when I could preview a workout before actually doing it so I could see what I would be doing and also make the judgement on if I would be able to complete the workout. I don’t like the videos AT ALL. You can’t even see what the moves are so you can make sure your doing them right before you start or be able to pause the workout and review the move before you resumed the workout like you could before. Also, the fact that when you connect Apple Watch you now only see estimated calories burned and heart rate compared to before where you could look at your watch in between movements and see what’s coming next along with how many more movements had to do before you were finished. This app used to be amazing now it’s just okay. The only reason I’m giving 3 stars is because the workouts are good and there are a lot of options, if not for the good workouts I would give 1 star since the formatting years ago was so good and helpful..Version: 6.39.0

Loved this but now won’t work!I was really enjoying the work outs this app had to offer - but it’s crashed and now won’t work! Have tried everything - uninstalling, clearing cache, restarting phone. Will open once after uninstalling and reinstalling, but then crashes - so disappointed :( please fix!.Version: 6.47.0

Updates ruined the experienceI have been using the app religiously for about two years and I loved it. I mostly enjoyed being able to do my workouts while listening to podcasts and stuff like that and it made the experience much better than any other app i’ve tried. With a recent update every single workout I did turned into a class format which no longer allows you to silence the guidance. Although the workouts are still pretty much the same, the inability to silence the guidance makes it almost impossible to listen to any music or podcasts while working out without being constantly interrupted. The workout settings still allow you to choose to silence the guidance and timing but it’s absolutely meaningless because once you start any workout the guidance is still there. I would love to keep using this app because it has made working out much easier but, if I can’t listen to my podcasts, I’d rather find another app or workout routine which let’s me do that. Hope you can change this in the near future..Version: 6.31.0

Update ruined the appUse to love this app but the update sucks. Before it was simple, start work out and click of what you did. There is also all these class style workouts now, I’m not going to watch a video at the gym. This update took away all the best parts about the app. I guess it’s still free. Wouldn’t be surprised if that changed soon too..Version: 6.31.0

DisappointedUsed the “older” version for years and was really easy, fun and efficient! (Back from 2017 if I can remember) And all that while being free as well! But everything changed a while ago now and not for the best. Used to be able to make awesome plans according to your goal, devotion and level of fitness but now it’s all gone and everything offered is very average unfortunately… Still trying to find another app as good as the older version was but can’t find any.Version: 6.40.0

WORSE UPDATE EVER!! Where are my workouts???!!I went on the app today to do one of my favorite workouts MAX and Recover. It is now a class video format instead of individual exercises that you follow at your own pace. Why is that an upgrade? Videos aren’t as useful in hotel gyms and it is easier to swipe back and forth btw exercises. New update now only gives you two options whiteboard or class. I have used the app for years and had multiple workouts saved and now half are gone and the other half I have to watch a class instead of going at my own pace. Why is that an upgrade? When the app first came out you could do a program. You would pick a goal and it would recommend a program and then give you a six week list of workouts. It tracked progress and was awesome. I logged two years of workouts. Then for some reason the program feature was eliminated so you could still pick the workouts but not have a program. The only way to have a program was to do a whiteboard workout. Has anyone at Nike compared the two and actually asked users what they prefer. The whiteboards require you to leave your workout and go to a video to see the exercise. Your last two major updates over the last few years have actually decreased the value of the app. Pushing all users to video and eliminating self guided programs is a bummer. Half my saved workouts aren’t even available anymore. Did anyone ask the user/customer before making these changes?.Version: 6.34.0

Used to be betterI’ve been using this app for about five years and all of a sudden my favourite routines have disappeared. The new videos/workouts being produced feature hyper-positive, often annoying trainers. All the workouts now also seem to have background music which is too overwhelming for someone with sensory sensitivities. The workout I used to enjoy was a gentle Restorative Yoga session with zero ego in the guidance but it no longer exists. I have appreciated the years of guidance in this app but obviously they've narrowed their appeal and I’ll have to go elsewhere to find what I need..Version: 6.35.0

Waiting for proper bug fixes & better updatesI’ve been using NTC for years!!! I even got some of my family members using the app. However recently I haven’t been able to use the app. I try to use it to work out and the app just freezes and I can’t do anything but close it out. I’ve tried using it on WiFi and with my cellular but nothing works. Then the recent update where you can no longer see the work out break down before selecting the work out is annoying. It’s just a guessing game at this rate. Unfortunately I’m recovering from a knee surgery and have limitations on certain work outs, so I hand select my work outs based on that. I usually have to make a few adjustments to some of the work outs based on my limitations and it’s nice to be able to do that ahead of time. Unfortunately now I have to try and do that in the middle of the work out, which is not as productive. Most of the time I find myself not able to use the app more because of it freezing up and I end up using a different work out app..Version: 6.32.0

Issues with musicThis app is wonderful in many ways BUT it purports to allow you turn off music playing over video lessons. This is false. Despite selecting no music, this app just plays whatever music it feels like over video content. So there’s no choice to have no music - it’s either your music or theirs. It makes trying to do workouts pretty unbearable especially yoga when the aim is to centre and focus the mind. I would love to see an option to actually have no music so I can concentrate on the instructor and the exercises..Version: 6.42.0

Please bring backThings to bring back - muting the voice while still having beeps so you can listen to podcasts - see ahead to pick workouts (not just one long video) - all the other things everyone else is saying It was so good before! Product designers blew it, please bring in someone new for next update. Poor experience is hurting the brand!.Version: 6.33.0

Disappointed with new formatI’ve been a very avid user of this app in the past and I’m disappointed that the previous style of being able to skip certain exercises and seeing what’s coming next etc. with the more traditional format is now gone and replaced by videos. Often I do these with my own music and appreciated the flexibility of the older app style1.Version: 6.32.0

Used to love this - now not so muchI miss the "white boards" workouts where we could get a preview of the workouts. And I know I'm not the only one. It sucks that Nike is not listening to user feedback, it's frustrating and deceiving. The new video workouts make it impossible to listen to music because of the computer generated voice always talking and distracting you. Would not recommend at this point. Unfortunately, this used to be a good app..Version: 6.39.0

New app version is not good!!!I’ve been using this app since 2013 and the model never changed for the exercises. What if I missed a step and need to go back? I don’t want to hear directions any more when I’m working out - if I’ve done the exercise more than once I know what’s going to happen. No longer can I do this with this version. I’m going to look into other work out apps that don’t have this new model. Frustrating to say the least..Version: 6.31.0

A previously superb app now ruinedThe plans were the best thing about the app, showing you how to perfect exercises at your own pace, without the annoying American talk tracks and over the top enthusiasm from the PT. In March it was the app everyone was talking about and rightly so. To be fair the new Programmes feature is not even a class, it moves so fast with such bad angles that you’re struggling to understand what’s going on. A really perfect app ruined by a need to presumably copy the Peloton app... they’ve completely missed the mark given the demographic they’ve presumably been able to unlock during the pandemic. What makes even less sense is why Plans and Programmes couldn’t coexist in the same app based on user preference. Unnecessary update which has ruined the app..Version: 6.16.0

This update ruined a once incredible app!I’ve been a loyal and avid user of this app since 2016. I’ve loved being able to become a fitter, healthier person through NTC’s simple interface and step-by-step instructions. This new version of the app took away everything that made the app amazing and unique. Now it’s like every other app. It feels as though you decided to re-vamp purely to increase your market share without maintaining the features that made this app beloved by NTC fans for years. You’ve unfortunately lost a consumer in me today..Version: 6.32.0

This used to be the best app ever made but...I’ve been using this app for many years and it was the perfect training companion. There were some minor hiccups in the past (some interferences with Apple Music app while exercising or sometimes the training would freeze if you were mirroring it on a tv..) but it was by far the best app ever developed. Sadly developers decided to remove the planning feature which was the huge plus over all the others apps. The app was able to support the definition of a specific training and support the weekly schedule, adjusting based on participation and feedback. I can’t tell if the app was really able to adjust the training over time, but it definitely provided the feeling of being followed and supported during sessions. Especially for those (like me) that have little time for training and want a product that is doing all the preparation, improving efficiency. Even if this app contains a lot of outstanding material, I’m giving it just one star because without the plan feature this is just a average confusing app, that makes it even harder to identify how to exercise in the little available time. Defining what to do is just a nightmare. BRING THE PLAN FEATURE BACK..I’m going to stop using it for now and transition to a easier app..for the first time in many years I even bought a pair of shoes from a different brand since Nike is not my favorite brand anymore....Version: 5.18.0

Unsubscribe“Premium” workouts left me feeling lost, frustrated, and negative about wanting to go back to the gym. This app was the reason I finally started working out, and the free content is still great, but the “premium” content is the epitome of what I hate about gyms in general - if you don’t already know what you’re doing or have a personal trainer with you, you just feel like an outsider with no chance of accomplishing anything. Even more frustrating, and more devastating to the entire experience, the app now has a 90% failure rate on my Watch where it either won’t track the workout at all, or even worse it gets stuck in some kind of error loop where in addition to not tracking the workout, the app forces the HR tracker to stay on uncommanded, even after uninstalling the app from the Watch and forcing it to reboot, meaning it has to be commanded from the phone app!! Until this gets fixed, NTC is coming off my phone. This app was my muse, it got me working out when nothing else did, and I’m sad to see it go because it worked so well for me. But between feeling excluded by the new premium content, and the infuriating experience on my Nike+ Watch, I’ll feel even worse trying to use it..Version: 6.0.0

Unfortunate updateI had just gotten into a groove of using this app for home workouts, always while playing a podcast. I was really grateful to find it had an option to mute all audio except beeps for the start and end of a set. With limited space & equipment at home I also loved that I could browse the steps of a workout easily in advance to see what I’d be doing and whether it would work for me. As of a recent update, all those workouts are now presented as giant pre-baked video files. There’s no way to see the whole itinerary ahead of time except to start playing and then blindly scroll around in the video, and the only audio options now are to mute ALL audio coming from my phone or to hear someone yammering instructions constantly at full volume. The user setting for ‘hear only beeps’ even still exists but seems to just no longer be respected by the app. If I want to use this how I’m used to I’ll have to play a podcast from some other device and then stare at my phone constantly to see which exercise I’m on - which makes it nearly useless to me now..Version: 6.33.0

Nice design and guidance but not accurateI’m mostly enjoying using the NTC app as it’s easy to use, has some good programs on there and is motivating. However I’m finding it is really inaccurate in recording my calories and heart rate when using it in conjunction with my Apple Watch (Series 3) - during the workout it seems to record ok but then when it finishes it seems to take a snapshot and says I’ve used only 2 calories during a 30 min workout and my average heart rate was much lower than actual. Why is it so inaccurate? It’s quite annoying as it means I’m not able to track my workouts properly. Please fix! Would give 5 stars otherwise. Thanks..Version: 5.18.0

Premium service is 1 bound forward 2 bounds backThe premium service is disappointing. The workout formats are a regression from the current “free” format. The whiteboard format is particularly bad. The burden of pacing, timing, and tracking is placed on the user. There is no watch integration. The “free“ workouts that are available seem to be more featured with ongoing instructions, motivation, time tracking + progress updates, and watch integration with haptic nudging so the user can concentrate on form and mental strength (instead of a clock). While the “class” format is interesting + interactive, there can be a lot of waiting and instruction upfront and throughout making the work out feel slow and sometimes non-energetic—plus no vitals information (no heart rate or calories) and no watch integration. Honestly I would rather pay the premium price to bring back the plans that were removed a while back. Please hint to me I’m wrong, or to stay tuned for updates to the service. I was a huge NTC user but i don’t think I’m going to make it past the free trial. I’m really happy that the previous feature set is still available—but I do think those workouts are getting pretty stale. Bring back plans please..Version: 6.0.0

Bring back the video formatPlease bring back the old format of the workout. It was very useful to know what exercise to expect and made workout planning much easier. Especially those with vision limitations. The current format is not engaging as it was before. Might as well find a workout on YouTube since the current format is not tailored to fitness and training..Version: 6.31.0

Bring back the plans!65 days ago a friend told me about this app. It was fantastic you put in your details and what equipment you had and it created a plan for you. So if you had dumbbells or were at a gym you could amend your plan. This was fantastic for motivating me to exercise. It gave me a weekly schedule to follow which motivated me to follow it. It also had benchmark tests to check your progress. I was really enjoying it and then they changed it!! Plans have been scrapped and you can only do trainer led ‘programmes’. So instead of a plan where you can feedback and they then make it harder or easier you now just have trainers talking at you. Totally rubbish what a way to ruin a great app!! Will be looking for a replacement..Version: 6.16.0

Update ruined the appI used to use Nike Training Club all the time for my workouts, but the newest update made the app nearly unusable. Some of my favorite features of the app, including being able to see all the exercises in the workout before you start, being able to skip and repeat exercises to get a custom workout, and being able to adjust the amount of guidance during the workout were erased when they switched from the old format to “class format.” Now all you can see before you start is the level, duration, general muscles worked, and equipment needed. Instead of being able to pick my workout based on the drills it contains, I’m now expected to choose based off of the title and minimal vague information. This “class format” makes it incredibly difficult to compare workouts as well - how am I supposed to pick between “Straight-Up Abs” and “Core Crunch 2.0” without being able to see the drills in each workout?? This update might not impact casual exercisers looking for a quick workout, but for higher-level athletes who used the app to supplement their training, it took away the features that made the app so effective. I hope Nike reverses the update as soon as possible because until then, I don’t think I can use the app..Version: 6.31.0

Horrible new updateI used to use this ALL the time and loved it, but they changed all the workouts to a video format, I won’t be using it anymore and I’m really sad because it used to be great..Version: 6.32.0

Updates ruined itI hate the recent update. Being able to select each exercise within a workout to review the form was a great feature and it’s a shame that’s gone now..Version: 6.31.0

NTC Premium/On DemandI would love to give this a 5 star rating, but I honestly find it extremely insulting that the Premium/On Demand option is only available to Americans. UPDATE JULY 16: Still waiting for NTC Premium to become available in Canada. This shouldn’t be hard to accomplish. UPDATE DECEMBER 2020: And still waiting for NTC Premium to become available in Canada. This shouldn’t be hard to accomplish..Version: 6.18.0

Apple Watch use is glitchyI have been using the Nike training app on my iPhone 7 and the app itself is lovely. Very easy to follow and the workouts suit many ability levels. However as soon I use my Apple Watch with the app it goes drastically downhill. Calories burnt for a 20 minute workout show up as 3. If I use my watch or receive a text/call/notification then it drops the workout altogether. For my exercise rings it shows maybe a 5th of the workout as being Nike, the rest comes up as general exercise. If I try to complete my workout via the watch app & select where and how hard I worked, it glitches and spams me that it’s in need of a rating. No matter how many times a rating is added.Version: 6.0.0

Bring plans back!I’ve been using this app to since 2014 and mainly for the Plans! I never leave reviews but I have to say, Nike has downgraded this app! I just completed the 6 weeks collection program and was HIGHLY annoyed that whoever created this new feature didn’t have enough sense to even mark off the workouts or weeks! It look like Nike just throw these workouts on the app. The Plans tracked my weeks and days for me and seeing the green check next to the workout was both rewarding and motivating! Not only did the Plans include mobility workouts, it forced/help me to get into yoga. Now in the Collection it’s an option that I have to remember to scroll down and look for while remembering what week I’m on because Nike took that feature off! And I can’t believe someone didn’t think to check these workouts off or to label the weeks. That is the most annoying thing about the new Collection! Nike, please make the Plans available again and let your users choose between the Plans or Collections. Taking the Plans completely off was a bad move! *****BRING THE PLANS BACK NIKE******.Version: 5.18.0

Not a Fan of the new workout video formatFor the past 2 years, this has been my favorite work-out app. It had a great variety of workouts, and included rep based, time based, whiteboard, and class based videos which made it super easy to create a good routine for what you needed on any particular day. Unfortunately, all of my favorite rep-based and time-based workouts have been turned into class-based workouts, which is a HUGE disappointment for me. The appeal of the rep/time based classes was seeing what moves were in a particular workout, so I knew a workout was right for my skill set. I loved seeing how much time was left in a workout on the screen, how much time was left in each rest session, being able to easily skip a move if I needed to for whatever reason.. that’s all out the window with the new video format. It’s a free app so I know I can’t complain that much, but I can’t help being disappointed that my favorite workout aid feels just like every other workout app now, giving me less control over my workouts..Version: 6.31.0

Calorie count has a major flaw...I love this app. The workouts are great and I like the fact that I get the exercises straight to my Apole Watch. The only reason I give it only 2 stars is because if you do more than one workout it cumulates the calories over the workouts instead of giving you the calorie count for each workout you do. For example, I do 3 core routines back to back. Instead of giving me a calorie count for each workout, 80 cals then 75 and then 84, it records them as 80, then 155 then 239. The Activity app gets confused and adds the cumulated results up again to record a total of 478 calories. I then have to go back and delete the first two workouts so that the total calorie burn is accurate. I now use the app without connecting it to the HealthKit and use the workout app instead. Great app, pity it can't do maths..Version: 6.3.0

Awesome(but not lately)Heya, guys, and first of all - thanks for this awesome app! Training for a while now and use every now and then, both NFC and NTC are just great! One tiny thing though, lately a lot of programs and trainings are visible but not accessible for some reason, it just kicks me back to the home page, and those are some of my favorites( could you please fix that, and I’ll fix the rating up to 5 most definitely! Cheers!.Version: 6.46.1

Broken version- random pauses mid workout30+ random pauses during what i thought was a downloaded 30 min workout, only to discover that downloaded workouts don’t exist anymore. Not everyone has wifi in the gym nor gargantuan amount of mobile data. The old version was perfect and i used it for more than 2 years. This version has missing functionality such as workout previews (how can i evaluate a workout before i do it) and a visible set timer (honestly small white text on a light grey background) and no counter on the watch either. Unfortunately i will stop using this app until all these issues are resolved or a reversion to previous app..Version: 6.32.0

Bring build my workout back!I’ve always gone to the gym but never really knew “how” to workout. I never really knew what muscle groups to do together and when to add in cardio. I felt like I was working out for hours at the gym with results taking what felt like forever! Then I stumbled upon this app and absolutely loved it! Not only were there videos of how to properly do each workout but there was a “build my plan” option where a workout plan was created for you! You’d simply answer questions based on your health and goals and boom a whole entire workout plan was right at your fingertips! I finally saw the results I had been looking for when working out and I owed it all to NTC! But then one dreadful day I went in to open the app to find that the best feature of this app, build my plan was GONE! I searched and searched and even tried replicating past workouts only to find myself sore and agitated. Nike, my question to you is WHY? Why take such a precious and greatly loved option away from loyal users? Isn’t your goal as a large corporation to help your customers be the best version of themselves? Please consider bringing it back! My workouts haven’t been the same since..Version: 6.35.0

No Previews, NOT For BeginnersThe recent updates have made it impossible to see which exercises are included in a workout. Please bring back the exercise list, the preview videos are really nice too. Stopping the workout and scrubbing back and forth to see the exercise is not an option. That’s just ridiculous. The best way I’ve found for selecting and doing my workout is to see the exercises, figure out easier forms, then follow along. Due to injury I’m starting over and most of your beginner workouts just aren’t at my level. Perhaps you have another level easier than beginner. Because a full plank to alternating single arm plank for 30 seconds in 3 sets is NOT beginning! I love the added focus on yoga, but I’m new here too. Have you ever tried to watch a video to see the next position (which you have no idea what it is and giving it a name is useless as a beginner) while in down dog. No. OK, let’s try. Press back into down dog. Now scorpion that. What you don’t know what that is? You need to see the position? Wait did you put your phone/tablet on the counter/table/chair, and your face is pointed down and back. So just pick up you chin and rotate it 180 degrees. Now you can see what the new pose looks like. Beginners are beginners. We want to learn and get better. But please help us. Bring back previews, explain exercises/position, provide normal and easier alternative exercise/forms..Version: 6.34.0

I need the Plans part of the programThe whole experience is ruined now. I liked being able to see my week mapped out and and being able to adjust the schedule. The little green ticks were a great motivator. The being able to see what exercise was coming up next let transition between exercises efficiently and a good part of the actual workouts. I live in an area with poor internet so I need to be able to pre download my workouts which I can no longer do. I’m very disappointed with the new features. Please bring back the plans, I can see from the comments I’m not the only one asking for this..Version: 6.31.0

Update decreased UX completelyI loved the app and have been using it for a few years now but the new update is terrible. You can’t mute the workout and play your music at the same time, workout previews are no longer available. The app was definitely at its best with the old format..Version: 6.31.0

Watch issuesI’d love to be able to do workouts without my phone! Also, the amount of times there’s double ups or the workout doesn’t record properly at all is frustrating. For example - todays mobility workout - 13minutes or thereabouts. And only recorded as a 1min workout and 4kj!.Version: 6.30.0

Not into the new class formatI enjoyed scrolling through all of the exercises in the workout before choosing it. The new format jumps right into a video so every exercise is a bit of a surprise. I also miss the progress bar each exercises used to show. There’s a timer in the new one, but it’s small on my phone. Still a great app. It wasn’t broken though. Stop trying to “fix” it..Version: 6.32.0

Horrible new updateSo much less functionality. Bring back the old format.Version: 6.32.0

La déceptionThis app used to be awesome, but the new video format is just not good. Plus the videos are only in English and as a native French speaker I used to find the app perfect since my training could be in French but not anymore… I guess I’ll have to find a new app..Version: 6.33.0

App doesn’t let me pick a planI used to be a big fan of this app, it has great variety of workouts and great tips. I have been with Nike plus for so long and it helped me along both training and running app. But recently it has been giving me problems, it won’t let me pick a plan and it crashes every time. I have tried reinstalling it and everything and still the same. I hope you guys up your game, with apple releasing the fitness plus this shouldn’t happen..Version: 6.15.0

Great app with a downfallI really enjoy the Nike app, and everything it offers. The video tutorials that show on screen have been such a huge help in improving my form and getting myself motivated. However, there are some oversights that seem baffling. Why is there no accompanying Apple Watch app? It would be such a huge improvement of the overall experience if there was. My heart rate would be tracked, and it would give a more accurate assessment of calories burnt. In addition to this, I could just tap my watch for the next workout, instead of having to always go back to my phone to say I have completed a rep; this really throws off the rhythm of a workout - especially when you go from left to right and you have to stop in between to begin the opposing set. The app is great, but to really improve it should be made to be the whole package (i.e., Apple Watch included)..Version: 5.6.0

ErrorrrGreat app. i love it. but since a few days ago, the app is malfunctioning. it deleted all my workout plans and wont let me start a new one. an error messages pops up every time. whats wrong? please fix please please ASAP!!!!.Version: 5.13.0

Hate the new updatesUsed to absolutely love it and look forward to training but since the programs got removed and now the way the workouts are only long videos or tableaux is really not enjoyable. Just feels like I’m following a YouTube video..Version: 6.31.0

So much opportunity to make this App amazingGreat App, but feels like there is so much more potential. Admittedly, I may represent a smaller user-base but I find myself wishing you had a library of exercises that I could pull from to create my own workouts, setting the respective timers and breaks, etc. Currently using an App called SecondsPro that allows me (and the group I work out with) to build our own workouts, but it's all manual and there is no audio or video helping explain or show proper form. Also, the interface is terrible, it would be so easy to design a really simple, intuitive UI that allows me to select the exercises I want from a library, tagged properly (muscle-group, etc) and quickly generate new workouts. You (Nike) would be controlling the audio and video so you can still brand it accordingly and help reinforce the amazing Nike brand. You could also consider other sponsors or advertisers and introduce them in tactful ways and people would still use the App so much more. That's my 2 cents, happy to talk more if you're interested in picking my brain. Equally happy to just see some of these features introduced into the App. Thanks, Mike.Version: 5.7.0

Audio in french it’s over!!!!!!!I'm really disappointed, since the new update the audio for the training aid is no longer available in French. Also the search for training is no longer available in French. Extremely disappointed...why remove this? Impossible to communicate with you if I want to contact you I have to open a Twitter account! However, with the Nike Run Club application, the audio remains in French. I will use another application, perhaps Adidas does not only favor English people..Version: 6.32.0

Great app until recent updatesThe Nike app was my go to app for all fitness and stretches for at least a year. It truly did help me in lockdown and not being able to go into a gym. Recently however they’ve made two updates I’m not happy about. One, they removed the option to select a challenge workout plan and secondly, they made all the workouts videos rather than a step by step guide. I could manage the challenge idea being removed but the shift to make everything all videos has made me want to remove the app and find another platform. Sorry Nike.. but you’ve lost a customer and many others I’m sure..Version: 6.32.0

NTC reviewI started using this app about 7 months ago. I loved it. I really liked how you can follow along, it times you, still plays your music etc. I love structure so I liked picking a workout collection. I was in the middle of doing the “6 week get lean” workout collection, which was great and gave me a variety of workouts to do. However, suddenly out of nowhere it was gone. The number of workout collections is now minimal and maybe are “all levels or beginner” or they only have about 12 workouts to add to cardio. I was very disappointed that they removed this feature because it was great for those who wanted to follow a workout schedule, which is why I gave the app 3 stars because now it is more time consuming to select a variety of workouts you want to do on a daily and make sure they are all different to come up with your own workout plan. And the premium workout plans they provide do not give a preview of the workouts so you don’t know if it is something you wouldn’t want to do or not..Version: 6.10.0

Deleted all my saved workoutsI had a bunch of workouts saved, then one day I logged in and most of them disappeared. Tried to find them again and they had been deleted, now all the workouts are formatted differently and you have to listen to someone speak through all of it, so annoying.Version: 6.34.1

Disappointing changesI have been using this app on and off for 6 years, and up until recently I loved it. However, the recent changes made in removing adaptive and personalised plans, as well as the ability to pre-screen workouts has ruined this app for me. For a company that prides itself on inclusivity and empowerment, the most recent changes have left me feeling an isolated and disempowered user. I fell in love with the ease with which I could workout, with the plans taking so much of the guess work out of it for me. I have joint hypermobility and have a plan that responded and adapted to my feedback helped me learn to listen to my body and how to interpret what it was telling me! Then, being able to pre-screen the workouts also helped as I would know in advance to avoid a certain movement or avoid a particular workout altogether. It was marvellous and helped me to be able to become a healthier person. However, all of this is now a moot point because the 2 most useful features, and the features that drew me in and kept me in, have been removed and any replacement offered is vastly inferior. PLEASE Nike, reintroduce these features, or even just the pre-screening, it makes so much difference to so many people! We want to continue supporting you and using the app, but you need to understand what you customers require of the app..Version: 6.36.0

Terrible updateI’ve used and loved this app since 2019, but the latest update is awful. The best feature of this app was that it wasn’t just videos and it was possible to skip certain exercises in a workout. Now workouts I have been doing for years have been converted to video format and the app is useless to me. I don’t know why the developers thought it was a good idea to get rid of the exact features that made this app better than others, but I hope they listen to all the feedback and change it back. I will not be using the app otherwise..Version: 6.32.0

Updates Are Going In The Wrong DirectionThe old formats of the workouts were great, why are they changing them to videos?? Before you could quickly skip parts of the workout to modify the workout how you’d like. Already warmed up? Easy, skip to the core part of the workout. Plan to stretch after another workout? Great, skip the stretching portions. Now you have to pan on a video. You could also easily see what was coming up by scrolling through the upcoming exercises. For the workouts that haven’t been updated to the crappy video versions, there’s nowhere in the UI to pause or exit the workout. If I accidentally started a workout I didn’t mean to, now I have to exit the entire app to go to a different workout or end one early. Also the timer doesn’t update if you skip an exercise. What the heck NTC! Please bring back the old formats. Those were the best workouts. Please concentrate on those rather than the videos with saccharine trainers. Might have to find another app for home exercising..Version: 6.32.0

So many bugsWould be a fantastic app but there are just so many bugs. Not only do none of the articles in my feed ever load (error message Connection Error always appears) but just earlier I had the whole app crash on the last exercise of a 30 minute intense workout and now it is not recorded as ever being done - not in the NTC app itself nor in the Apple Watch app. Wish these things could be smoothed out because it is a great app otherwise. Though I do wish more elements could be available outside the US. That just seems unnecessarily Americanised - time to catch up with the times..Version: 6.10.0

No articles and recipes as promisedI really like this app and it’s given me a lot of motivation to get fit. However when I do the programmes they talk about providing articles and recipients but they literally don’t come up anyway..Version: 6.39.0

Was the perfect workout app until they changed the UIThis app has pretty much changed my fitness game and helped me to evolve into newer and better shape while challenging myself with more elaborate and tougher workouts, and it’s still the best free workout app out there. However, i just don’t get why the developers felt the need to change, or more like downgrade (imho) the user interface; the previous one was perfect; it was sleek, good looking and allowed you to play your own music while working out using the app. However, now that all workouts are in the video format, i can’t really hear any music i play and am forced to listen to the sometimes off putting soundtracks in the said videos. PLEASE bring back the old UI..Version: 6.38.0

Great travel appI started using this app a good 8 years ago, using it here and there over the years. I feel like the older version made it easier to find your usual workouts, and had better workouts. In the current version (using it a lot these days, since we are all on social lockdown), there is not a spot to find all your downloaded workouts- if you want to easily find them, you have to bookmark AND download them. My other gripe is that it only will let you use Apple Music to play along. Having other streaming services implemented seems like a given. Finally, “equipment.” While you can search workouts based on “basic,” “no,” and “full” equipment, it would be great if I could search based on which equipment I have. While I may not have a bench, I do have other pieces that fall into the full category. Currently, you have to go into each workout to see what equipment is needed, and it’s a bit tedious. A little off tangent, but I would love it if each workout had an “info” button of sorts, featuring the apparel / shoes worn in the workout. I understand a lot of the workouts were recorded a while ago, but knowing what type of shoes the model was wearing would be helpful. Generally, there’s an updated version that comes close (basically, Nike, there’s a pair worn that i would love to have!😉)..Version: 6.9.2

Bad update.Changed it to videos and it SUCKS. No one wants to sit there watching a 15 minute video at the gym. It was perfect before 👎👎👎.Version: 6.32.0

Latest update ruins app experienceThis used to be a great workout app particularly for its great interface, but the latest update has changed all workouts to a continuous video format rather than a workout plan to progress through..Version: 6.32.0

What happened? Why would you remove all the useful functionalities of this once great app and have videos instead? You can’t preview the exercises before starting, you can’t skip or have any control now that it’s all videos. If I wanted to proceed this way, I would have just gone with YouTube instead. You just lost yourself a long time user, until you bring back the old format..Version: 6.31.0

Workout plan section??I love this app and wanted to your attention. The workout plan section is now gone? Also I keep getting notifications but when I open it, it's blank?? Please fix these glitches!!! Thank you!.Version: 6.29.0

Worst updateApp was great but the update made it about as helpful as following youtube videos on you phone. Unusable now..Version: 6.32.0

New update ruined my workout routineI had just started to get a solid routine going and they updated the app and got rid of some of the workouts I was using I’m sure I can adapt but it’s quite annoying and I just liked the old version a lot better I don’t like that I can’t just look at the workouts anymore it’s like a class structure with an annoying robotic voice.Version: 6.31.0
